Another excellent breakfast place! Excellent, affordable place with great food. I haven't eaten here for dinner or lunch only for breakfast so I can only attest to the quality of their breakfast places. I'll sum it up... Excellent portions Excellent quality Excellent prices That's all you need for a great breakfast place. Coffee is excellent, the place is clean and the wait staff is very polite. Highly recommend.

The breakfast at Savoury is hands-down the best in this area! We've been coming here since they opened, and we've never had a bad entree. I love the bacon and onion skillet, it's simple but it's really good. They have fresh-squeezed orange juice that's amazing! I've also become a fan of their red velvet pancakes. I haven't seen them at any other restaurant nearby, and they're sooo good! Why 3 stars? Service! And for the most part, it's not the actual wait staff, it's the family that owns the restaurant (and hold various positions). You would think that after coming here somewhat regularly for the past 8/9 years, that someone would recognize us and maybe say something like "hey guys, how are you?". But no, that has not once happened. They always act as if we're strangers to the neighborhood. What's most frustrating is the family hostess. We continue to come back because we know the meal will be good, but we consistently have to deal with someone who acts like it's difficult to greet us, direct us to a table and take our money. I'm sorry, maybe put a smile on your face and remember that it's your customers, like my family, who keep you open. Maybe be gracious, friendly, and welcoming and you'll grow your business even more! We even had an experience at another breakfast place in St. Charles, got to talking to another family at the next table who now refuses to go back there for the same reason! As for my family, I always say I'm never coming back, but I'm writing this review as I'm waiting for a table. Expecting the same experience.

Never disappoints. Great breakfast place but prepare to wait. We wait a minimum of 20 to 30 minutes every time during the morning rush. I've tried most everything on menu but my favorite is the eggs Benedict, 3 different kinds including pesto one and all very tasty. Food service is fast and the coffee is always got and flowing constantly.

My husband and I had a pleasant experience when we visited Savoury for breakfast one weekend. Sure, we had to wait for about 20 minutes (as you have to do for practically every other breakfast spot - the good ones anyway!), but out server was very nice when we were seated. You know, right away, that this is a family restaurant. The owners and their children and grandchildren could be seen all around the front desk. I had the Rocky Mountain Savoury Crepe - a crepe filled with ham, bell peppers, onions, and mushrooms, topped with cheddar cheese. It was so good. I also had a mimosa and it was delicious! My husband wanted to try something new so he had the Gyros Skillet, a great choice at a Greek-owned restaurant. The skillet had gyros meat, tomatoes, onions, and feta cheese, topped with two eggs. Also very good. We did not feel rushed to leave and had a great experience there. Service was good and the food was great. We can't wait to return!

The food was good. The coffee was a bit weak. I like stronger coffee. The waiting time was about 45min and while we waited they let another group sit before us who arrived after us. We told the the young guy about it and he said they had a reservations since the previous day. We had called before to make a reservation and we where told they didn't do reservations. The waitress was supper nice. We didn't wait that long for food. I wouldn't recommend this place for breakfast unless you want to wait, food is not bad. I noticed people where waiting all the time.

Saturday 11:30 am,, place was packed.. First time customer.. It was so LOUD it was giving me an headache.. Asked to sit outside.. Only 5-tables outside.. 3 were finished eating but no one cleared there tables to push flipping them.. Waited 25 minutes and still no one cleared the tables.. Customers outside were inconsiderate knowing others were waiting.. Poor management not recognizing the poor service outside to flip tables.. Went next door to Tipsi Monkey and had a great breakfast and ate outside..

Every time we drive in to town we always end up hitting this place, first thing in the morning, for breakfast. Decor: It's nice inside. Nothing fancy, but definitely not a dump. There are plenty of tables and plenty of booths to accommodate any size group. I'm really a big fan of the entire wall of windows that allows for plenty of natural light. Bathroom: I did not use the bathroom during this visit. Staff: Our waitress was friendly and pleasant. While she was not the most speedy (as one would expect when there is almost NO ONE else in the place on a Friday morning) it really was not a big deal. The food came out relatively quickly as well. Food/Drink: The food here is always great. Everything comes out hot and fresh and cooked perfectly. The taste, of course, goes without saying, wonderful! I always end up getting the two egg breakfast w/ bacon. This time, however, I tried a smoothie. It was good, but a bit small for the price. Value: I think the prices are right where they should be. You get great quality food for a decent prcie. The smoothie is a bit expensive for the size, however. Like I said, we always end up stopping in for breakfast and we will continue to do so on into the future.

We've come here a few times for breakfast and for lunch and have had good experiences each time! The menu is huge with many unique items! We've always had great service and the food has always been good. It reminds me of Denny's or IHOP but is unique in that it is not a chain. It's a laid back atmosphere and the prices are reasonable.

Decent breakfast joint. Scored a booth after about a 15 minute wait at 9:30 - on a Sunday - so was pretty happy about that. The orange juice was delicious - tasted like it was probably fresh squeezed. I ordered the eggs benedict with prosciutto, and was pretty disappointed. The prosciutto just tasted like thick sliced, really really salty ham. It wasn't the thin sliced, delicately cured layers of pork that I adore. And my eggs were pretty much hard boiled, so the whole thing was just super salty and dry. For me, a benedict should be smothered in buttery hollandaise and covered in rich egg yolk when you break through the whites. Not so here. A very modest glaze of sauce and no yolks. Boo. The fruit that I ordered on the side was the highlight for me. However, my husband's gyro skillet was pretty excellent. Service was slow, but our waiter was pleasant. Might give them another go if I'm in town, but certainly will not go out of my way.

Have eaten here dozens of times since they opened. Their breakfasts are the best with wait times as long as an hour on weekends. Their pancakes were voted the Best in the Suburbs and they deserved to win. Owners are always there with a friendly "Hello" and to take care of any mistakes. Highly recommend.

Always very satisfied here and with their recent menu updates....they now have skillets!...things are even better (now the hubby is extra happy!). Had their Caprese Benedict with basil hollandaise today and it was one of the best breakfasts I have had in a long time! The garlic ciabatta type of bread it's served on was a great base. Was concerned I might not like the basil hollandaise but it made it perfect! That may become my new standard at Savory

Good breakfast place but nothing spectacular. The do have an extensive menu of all the standards and the service is good.

Everything here is really good. The service is fast and friendly. Very large menu.(many health conscious items) Can always count on a good breakfast or lunch here.

The food was great.. We went at 6am on a Friday. Basically seat yourself. There was only one waitress but she did an amazing job taking care of everything and everyone. Never had to wait.. Food is priced well. Portions are hearty.. The breakfast menu looks amazing, there were so many choices. Most places serve the same things for breakfast. Not here they have items that I have never seen before. Red velvet pancakes! Nice place, I can see it being packed on a weekend. They have outside seating and a gourmet coffee bar..

After many Sunday's working, now I have Sunday's off and this evening my parents and I decided to come to this place that we have not visited for a while. When we came in there was a few people waiting, but we were sat not long after our arrival. Our waiter took a while for him to attend us, but that's understandable because the place was nearly packed and he was serving a family of 8. However, when he brought the drinks we ordered he kind of just tossed it at us, spilling some of the Orange juice my had ordered and a little water that I asked for. Us three, order soup, both of my parents got the creamy chicken soup, as for me , I got the French onion soup which was really good. For our main plates, my mom got the Mexican panini, my father got the pulled pork sandwich, and I got the Mediterranean veggie panini. My mother's panini was good, but she said the chicken was kinda burnt and tasted a little bit bitter, however that wasn't a big of a problem for her. My dad's sandwich looked good, and he said that the meat was very well cooked. And my panini had a lot of spice, and I think it was the water from the vegetables that made the bread really soggy and I really liked it cause it was very well spiced with oregano and basil. Overall, our food was good, we liked it, and we would come back again, when?? I have no clue because it took us about 2 years to eat here again.

This restaurant is always busy! That has its up side and down side. The down side is you have to wait for a table, but the up side is good food! Great place for family and friends to enjoy breakfast or lunch. I have never eaten lunch there, but I have enjoyed their breakfast items. The staff is always nice and friendly. Nice local restaurant!

I stopped in at around 11:00 AM on a Monday. I had a taste for pancakes and I ordered Multigrain. They had a spice of some sort that wasn't mentioned on the menu. They looked cooked but actually they were undercooked. Between the slight spice flavor and the undercooking, they were not to my liking. I may be too critical here, since I did eat most of it. The service was almost okay. Thr server asked how the food was and I said "Just so-so." She walked away without responding. When I paid the bill, the manager did not ask if everything was okay. Seemed like nobody much cared. I have had better luck here in the past, but I doubt that I will be back.

I've been here several times. Their food is always really good, but every single time their service has been some of the worst service I've ever experienced. The front desk guy once told my friend her name meant drunk slob in Greek. One time I was there when I was seated at my table there was still money on it so I told the waitress it was left there when she came up and she goes "yeah that's how it works here." Oh, you seat new people at a table before clearing it off? That's how it works here? She continued to be extremely rude the entire stay. The food is really good. But every time I go I regret my decision because every waitress I've encountered has been nothing but rude and unwelcoming. So if decent service is what you're looking for, don't go here.

I usually love ordering from Savoury, but I'm afraid that this will be the last time I order from this establishment. I ordered the veggie skillet and found a piece of bacon in my skillet. I don't eat meat. Innocent mistake. I also ordered corned beef hash for my mother and she tasted it, told my dad to try it, he tried it and said it was spoiled. My mom agreed that's why she wanted him to taste to make sure. She called Savoury and spoke to a George and he was extremely adamant in telling her it wasn't spoiled. He said he tasted it and it was not spoiled and didn't get feedback about it being spoiled. (As if she isn't feedback). She told him she tasted it and had her husband taste it and it was spoiled. He was EXTREMELY unprofessional in handling the situation in my opinion. If a customer says something is spoiled, even if you don't agree, you should let them know of their options, not argue how it wasn't spoiled. He basically kept fighting how it wasn't spoiled and how he doesn't know what she's talking about. Bad move if you want customers to return. I actually referred this place to two other people I was with while ordering but they've witnessed the issues today and aren't impressed.

Good for a little place in Bartlett if you're looking for a great breakfast. can't speak for lunch but I assume it's good with a wide variety to select from. I go there specifically for eggs benedict. they actually have four options of eggs Benedict. The eggs are perfect no matter how you get them and if they aren't they're happy to remake them. Very crowded at times but worth the wait. They have a few seats outside which is nice on a quiet early Sunday morning. the only problem is that parking can be hard to come by.

I've been coming here for years now and have somehow never left a review. Savoury confuses me. On the weekends there is almost always a wait. Even at lunch time there's usually going to be a wait. The question is: Is it really worth the wait? I'd say no. By far my biggest issue would be the service. It's almost impossible to get a refill on your coffee here. Like I swear some of the waitresses avoid eye contact with you so you can't even flag them down for your desperately needed refill. This is not something that's happened once or twice, it's pretty much every time. There is one nice young blonde waitress who this wasn't an issue with, when we're there we always hope to get her section but we never have such luck. Also, the last two times I've been there I've been served 'burnt' decaf coffee. As in you could literally smell it in the mug and tasted like tar. Both times I was told it say in pot too long....why wouldn't you keep it fresh? I also find the hash browns to be severely lacking. They are just really boring and plain. The pancakes are really good, it's probably the only real reason I end up coming back here. We recently found a great breakfast place in Elgin though and we've been making the drive there for the better service and great food, even though we are less than 5 min from Savoury.

This place is a little unpredictable when it comes to service, but the food is AWESOME. We have gone on a weekday and on a weekend, and by all means - AVOID GOING SAT/SUN MORNING unless you plan to wait in tight quarters for over an hour. There are maybe 2 or 3 seats available for you to wait in, and there is no space for waiting. People randomly standing along walls, rubbing elbows with the wait staff as they come by. The people working the register/hostess stand never seem to be the most friendly unfortunately, but the waiters seem to be quite nice. Once you do get seated, the pancakes are magical. We love the Skillets too. I tried the Gyro Skillet for my last visit and was very impressed: Hashbrowns, Gyro Meat, Tahini Sauce, Onions, Feta Cheese: YUM! So, all in all, if you have the patience to wait for it, the food is good. It is the best breakfast spot in the area, but I conclude that they need to do something different for the crazy wait times. Maybe take reservations? Maybe offer more seating options for waiting? Allow for us to call ahead to add our name to the list? I think a little attention to the customer's discomfort would help tremendously.

in love with this place!!! First time here. The food was delicious. I had the tex-mex Benedict. The steak was very well seasoned and the garlic Texas toast was mouth watering. My girls had pancake which I grabbed a bite of and have to say it was fluffy buttery mouth watering delicious!!! My 3 girls all said it was way better than any other pancake house they've been to! Daddy approved too!

I had the Parma Benedict, and even though the sauce was a little lacking, the dish was delicious. The waitresses were fast and had a great sense of urgency,a and the food came out surprisingly fast.

Serving sizes are pretty good except the fruit servings are very small. Service is good and atmosphere is great. Just wish they would serve bigger fruit portions.

    (3)
  • Dave M.

Savoury was very average. The vegetable omelet had no vegetable or cheese flavour. Coffee was very average. Hash browns were very average. Bacon was OK. If you like better quality and a bit of creativity in your breakfast, you'll have to look elsewhere.

  • Kara C.

Love the service here always! The only thing holding this back from being a 5 is that they haven't quite mastered well done or crispy hash browns. So if you like them crispy ask for them extra extra extra well done.

  • Lucas M.

The food was great! The only problem is the service. It took about 15-20 minutes to get our food, even though there were only 4 tables occupied out of the whole restaurant. We will be coming back

Perfect neighborhood restaurant with great food. The French toast and skillets hit the spot. Just expect a wait during peak times,

  • Sue B.

The food is very good. We have been here several times. But, Sunday 3/1 I made reservations for 7 people. Five of our group arrived first. We were told we could not be seated until everyone arrived. This was quite uncomfortable while people were entering and exiting the restranut . I could not understand why not seat us since we made reservations. I am not sure I'd be back. The service from the wait staff was fantastic.

Yeah, very good place for food. Broad menu; we go here for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

  • Khris L.

I came here a few times and had a decent experience, but the most recent visit was horrible. I was thinking it was a fluke, but looking at the recent reviews of this place makes me think otherwise. The food was extremely bland...as if they forgot to season it. The staff members weren't the friendliest bunch and service was a bit slow even though it wasn't that busy. I probably won't come back here again.

    (2)
  • Kaye D.

I'm a big fan of breakfast food... especially skillets that make me "happy full" where there is just enough food to make me full, but not overstuffed. This place does a fantastic job of that for my appetite. The servers I've had so far are cheery and converse with you and don't look annoyed if you start a conversation with them (trained well or part of their personalities? - take your pick). The food comes out fast (we usually order off the breakfast menu). This time around I had the Rocky Mountain Skillet and opted for toast instead of pancakes. I've only gone a couple of times, and didn't have to wait either time. But when I pass by this restaurant during its peak hours, the parking lot is always full. That's a good sign.

I have had several breakfasts there & really enjoyed them-lots of good food served quickly by friendly waitresses. However, Fri. night we tried the fish fry & were disappointed. The fish & fries were dry & not that warm which leaves me to believe they weren't freshly cooked & had been sitting under a warming light or whaterver. We will do dinner again sometime & try something different-hopefully better.

This restaurant used to be a lot better when we moved into the area about 6 years ago. Decent breakfast and a couple good dinner items on the menu (skirt steak and pork chops), but things have gone way downhill since then. First of all, the staff is consistently grumpy and a few times rude, for no reason-- just right off the bat rude. I don't know if that's just their personalities, but don't be in this business if you can't smile (or even fake it). Secondly, they desperately need to upgrade their dining room. Every time we've gone here, the chairs feel like they're going to fall apart underneath us. Thirdly, the portions have gone way down in the past few years. The food isn't bad and they have a nice outdoor area. Their skillets are pretty mediocre and I've gotten to the point where I ask for them to leave off the hash browns altogether (they're just dry and bland). Mainly because of the rudeness, we finally gave up on this place and instead drive out of our way to go to Egg Yolk Cafe in West Chicago, where we're greeted warmly and the food and atmosphere is much better.

I gave this a second shot since I heard good things about it and all I could remember was how bad the pancakes were. I judge a breakfast & pancake house by its pancakes, right? Horrible pancakes. Darn it! Why? I got a veggie skillet with eggs over medium and a pancake. About two bites of pancake was all I could do. They are really heavy and too much leavening (not fluffy). Have you eaten Krusteez? There ya go. Like vanilla wafers meets Bisquick. Even the MSG didn't make me think it tasted good. The skillet looked fabulous, but underneath those beautiful eggs was mush. The hashbrowns turned into mashed potatoes. I am not understanding what people see in this place, really. I remembered I had this problem the last time I was here. The b-friend's skillet was also mush. The two stars are for the eggs cooked correctly, and the really nice atmosphere outside on the patio. Our waitress was overworked so service a bit slow, but she was really nice. Also, the b-friend liked the Blackhawks stuff. SUGGESTION: Eggs, bacon and toast on the patio. No pancakes.

This place always exceeds expectations! Staff is friendly! Great selection of delicious food! Outdoor seating! Hard to get a good brunch spot in burbs and this one is for sure the best in Bartlett! Please try the crepes or French toast with mascarpone and blueberries! Also the breakfast quesadilla is very yummy!

Love the food here. Best pancakes we have ever had which is refreshing since it's a breakfast place! Service is inconsistent and my lack experience. However the food is good enough to keep us coming back for more.

Attention Bartlett Residents & Passer-byers! I am upgrading Savoury to four stars! They have earned it. After living in the area for almost a year, I find that we continue to visit Savoury on a pretty regular basis. The food has now delivered on that "WOW" that I was looking for from my local haunt. Everyone that I have sent and/or brought in has been pleased with their meals. Even going in around 8pm on a Thursday evening, we were greeted by one of the friendly owners and promptly seated. The food was hot and fresh. Even the soup was steaming (which is a major plus in my book). My son continues to stick with his Nutella Crepes and cleaned his plate tonight. I tried the skirt steak sandwich. I am SOOOO glad that I did! The steak was cooked to medium as requested, it was seasoned just right and the onion rings that I ordered on the side came out crispy without being overcooked. As usual, the rice pudding was the perfect end to my dinner. Savoury has fine-tuned things and made the entire experience one that I care to repeat over and over. Maybe I will see you there!

My sister lives in the suburbs of Chicago, and every time I go back home to visit, we head here. It's become a mainstay of our visits. When I tell my OTHER siblings "we went to Savoury!" they get jealous. :) Tips -- the Kona coffee is awesome - it's fresh, regularly refilled, and tasty. Ask for flavored creamers too - they'll bring you a bowl. More tips - for your side of toast, get Greek bread. It's almost like Texas toast in size, but has sesame seeds. It's lovely and delicious. Last tips -- if you're in a group, get different sides, pancakes, and dishes. Share! Everything is delicious. My little sister always gets Nutella crepes - they are truly wonderful. I try to keep it healthy most of the time and get a griller with egg whites. Savoury is great. So happy it's become part of the home experience! :)

Stopped by this little gem for lunch after a meeting and was blown away! Very warm and inviting decor and a friendly, helpful and funny staff. I tried the turkey panini which was very good, but the star of my meal was the pickle that came with my panini. It was the best I've had in years! So come for the pickles, and stay for the meal :-)

Not cool, Savoury. I didn't want to knock this restaurant down to three stars, but they have earned it. I have been here at least once or twice a month since my initial review. While they have retained their "ok" rating with me, some things have definitely gone downhill. Now there are certain things I really do like about them (they take reservations when you have big parties (sometimes we have 9 or 10 people) and they are nice about bringing out extra plates for our kids. But something I cannot look past is this: I bought a restaurant.com gift certificate a few months ago with the intent to bring the whole family here for my mom's birthday (a Sunday) this February. There were NO limitations on this $100 certificate when I bought it. So you can understand my disappointment when I arrived a couple weeks ago to see a sign on their door saying that "they are no longer accepting restaurant.com certificates on the weekends" starting the previous week. Wow. As a business, going forward you can make limitations, but you should have honored the ones that had already been purchased for what the purchaser bought it for. Poor business practices.

I have had breakfast pretty much everywhere ever it's the best meal of the day- this is by far on my top 5 list! Everything from the tasty pancakes to the skillets and omelets are perfection. The waitstaff is always incredibly attentive and the food comes out so fast. Ive never had a bad meal here and cant wait to try the lunch menu!! See pics of pancakes I added so you can salivate too:)

This place is right by my house so we decided to check it out. The food was really good, service was fast and our waiter was excellent. HOWEVER, the whole experience was ruined by what I can assume were the owner's obnoxious adult children who took up the booth right behind us. Six or seven people crowded in their booth and came and went the whole time we were there - I imagine they were there all day. One guy (with his fancy hipster haircut and boisterous voice) shouted the entire time as he socialized with his friends. The restaurant was loud enough without this guy literally drowning out the conversation we were having at our table. Not to mention the two girls who were standing up in the aisle and insisted on leaning over our booth inches from my mom as she ate her food. How rude. When I would make eye contact to give them a hint, they would move momentarily only to return minutes later - texting right over my mom as she ate. Even the owner at times would come by and chat right in front of our booth. If you are going to work there or hang out with your family, at least take a booth away from everyone - how inconsiderate of your patrons can you be? I would go there again if only for the decent food and close proximity to my house. But I just don't feel like patronizing a business that doesn't have a CLUE about customer service.

I agree this place is very unpredictable. I had a bad experience and waited almost a year to come back. The last several times I've been there, it's been very good. I'll give it 4/5 stars considering it is what it is. A good Greek dinner.

The breakfast is the best in the area. Lunch and dinners are good. I am a big fan of the roast turkey dinner and the chicken noodle soup. Just shared a really good sundae with my daughter too!

First time visitor to Savoury this afternoon. I stopped in on a lark and was not disappointed. Everything was wonderful from friendly and welcoming staff, to wonderful food. Pumpkin pancake side dish was to die for with the drizzled "Cinnabon" flavored glaze. The veggie omelet was very tasty. The pumpkin latte was the best I've ever had. The look and taste of the food was appealing overall. The restaurant was busy with guests. Was it just me or was everyone in a great mood? I felt right at home and will definitely be back with friends. Thanks for making my day!

I live in Bartlett so I come here alot. They have there good days and bad days. Recently they have been having alot of bad days.. There veggie omlet has no taste to it- they need to spice it up more. Today I ordered scarambeled eggs and they came all watery- yuck!. Not what I expected. One thing they always have the menu that is tastey is their red velvet pancakes. I never had a bad experience with those. They need to step up their game with their eggs though.

Well we finally made it here after wanting to for a year. First we got there about 9am on a Sunday with five of us...the wait was not long at all, 10 minutes tops. This was excellent! We were seated near the kitchen but because of the layout we really didn't hear any unusual noise. The server took our order very quickly BUT never gave us her name...which was a shame because I would like to thank her by name. The food which ran from Chicken Fingers to Crepes to a Country Benedict and two skillet choices, was prepared well. The pancakes as a side, which were built up a bit were ok...but that was the only let down. Coffee came often as well as water, and we were asked no less than four times if we needed anything else! Well done all around and we will be going back....oh there are items that are not on the menu that you should ask about....HINT: Red Velvet Pancakes...looked delicious and will be on order next time.

I love this place! The breakfast is outstanding. Hands down the best breakfast place in the burbs.

This is mine and my husbands absolute favorite place for breakfast. We come from Elgin to eat here because no matter where we go in town there is no restaurant that matches the quality of food from Savoury! He always gets his skillet (meat lovers). I usually do the make your own skillet and love that they have cilantro, have not found another place that does. I order the skillet and get cilantro, avocado and bacon with pepperjack cheese and it is to die for! Their french toast is great as well as the omelettes. The pancakes are the best we have had, so light and fluffy with wonderful flavor. The service is always really great. We usually visit on a Sat or Sun morning and the earlier you go the better because they get packed! The prices are very reasonable considering how wonderful the food is and great portions. We always end up taking half home. Oh and I almost forgot to mention one of the other reasons we became huge fans of this place. Fresh squeezed orange juice! Need I say more?

Food: My aunt and I split our breakfasts Eggs Benedict--the poached eggs were overdone and the hollendaise sauce was bland. Insert sad face because I love eggs benny. Southwest Omelet--a delicious dish with chorizo, jalepenos, tomatoes, onions, cheddar and avocado (how they didn't mush the avocado is beyond me!) Soooo good, very flavorful, nice spice. Very well made. Insert smiley face here. The omelet comes with a side of buttermilk pancakes--I found them pretty basic, nothing special. Insert Meh face here Coffee--weak. Insert really sad face here. Service: Our server was friendly, helpful and on point. I appreciated the host helping us decide which booth would be better for us since we brought le bebe in his baby carrier. Setting: Open and modern. Stone tiles, large windows, comfy seating. Conversations carry so it can get a bit loud at times.

Came here to meet an already seated, ordered, party of 4. We came in at the end of the rush. Wish they had the foresight to re-seat us when we got there, the chairs at the end of the table in front of the bathroom doors was annoying. Food was great though, so I'm told, and I cant wait to eat here myself :D

Went here for a morning breakfast with my girlfriends family. I love breakfast but just dont have a good appetite early in the morning but this place changed it. I went with the skirt steak eggs benadict . When asked how I wanted my steak I said medium not really expecting much since most breakfast places will ask even though they will cook it the same each and every time. When I got it and sliced the steak I was SHOCKED.... It was cooked perfectly.... hard to cook out the chewiness in a skirt steak but they nailed it..... I knew a nap was in my near future. My hash browns were cooked well done as I asked and the service was prompt and friendly. If youre in the area in need of a breakfast fix I highly recommend

Kids + us + Savoury = Like!! This place is packed on weekends. We got omlettes, skillets and kids pancakes and all were a hit. The cappuccino was authentic. I am coming back for lunch and dinner menus.

Okay so as busy as this place is all the time I guess I expected more. The sign in the window said they were "nominated" for best breakfast in Chicagoland. I guess that makes sense since anyone can be nominated, but to win is another thing. As far as I am concerned, this place is not the winner. Nice atmosphere, table service was okay, not great. I had the pancakes. They were just okay, nothing special. My friend had the chorizo quesadilla. It was okay, but kind of lacking on the "stuffings". Check out would have been more enjoyable if the cashier/hostess had actually acknowledged me instead of yakking it up with two of her co workers who obviously had nothing better to do than to keep her from being courteous to the customers. All in all, not bad, but rather ho hum. I would rather go to the Egg Basket...

The husband and I have been here three or four times now, all on weeknights. We've both ordered different breakfast items for our dinners. The first few times everything has been either great or ok: skillets, pancakes, and toast all perfectly cooked, and service either wonderful or ok. Tonight's service was again fine, but the food was not so great. We both ordered skillets and the hashbrowns were mushy and barely cooked. Our eggs were perfect, but the ham in my skillet was different than I've had in the past...salty and mushy instead of firm and moist. My husband's pancakes were undercooked and doughy. We'll definitely give Savoury another chance, but be aware that it's hit or miss. PS - Our table was in view of the back area and what I assume was an office or storage area...I wish the owner(s) would keep the area clear of clutter so that it looks cleaner.

This is a hard restaurant to review. I've had two or three breakfasts here, and two or three sandwiches for lunch. I would give it 2 stars for the lunches I've had, but 5 stars for the breakfasts. The sandwiches have been, by and large, disappointing. The bread has been soggy, the fries cold once and stale the other time, and the ingredients, not all that great. So when I go here now, I get omelettes or skillets with pancakes. There's a giant sign on the front of the store that claims that Savory was nominated for best breakfast in Chicago. After eating there a few times, I believe it. The eggs are always cooked to perfection, whether scrambled on the side or in the omelette. With skillets, the hash browns are cooked just right and crispy on the outside. The pancakes have the distinct tang of buttermilk. They use a good quality cheese and wonderfully fresh vegetables in the omelettes. You may have to season some of the food yourself, but it's better for you to control that part of the dish, anyway. Definitely visit Savory, and definitely stick with its strength: breakfast food.

Very nice atmosphere... HUGE portions... good price. My girlfriend loves this place. We can actually share one meal and leave the place full. Our favorite is the steak skillet. We usually go on the weekends, but the wait isn't usually long at all. The pancakes are nice and fluffy too and the wait staff is very good.

I'm surprised to see some of the negative reviews of Savoury because I was under the impression that everyone loved this place. For starters, it's always crazy busy on the weekends, but beyond that, I've always had good experiences eating here. It maintains that family-owned restaurant feel by being just that- family owned. The service is great and I always see the same people working there. The breakfast is killer and the pancakes are some of the best I've had. The reason I'm giving this place four stars though is because their lunch pretty much sucks. Every sandwich I've had here has been bland and dry. Granted, I've only had a few so maybe I shouldn't rule the entire lunch here out. I've had a pretty decent pulled pork sandwich though. Overall, great staff and if you stick to the breakfast, you'll be fine.

My wife and I try to patronize local businesses whenever possible. We live in Barttlett and we hate fast food places, so we were happy to see Savuory open up. After eating at Savoury on several occasions, I would say that it is good, but not great. We were unimpressed with the quality of dinner, but breakfast is good. The pancakes are particularly good. Too many restaurants serve tasteless dessicated disks and call them pancakes, but not Savoury. Their pancakes are very good. The service leaves a little to be desired. It isn't necessarily bad, but it feels like the staff is just going through the motions and with little enthusiasm. I don't like a bunch of super fake happiness and flair either, but I am just not feeling appreciated. The popularity of this place has grown over the years and they are always packed on Saturday and Sunday mornings when I like to go as well. In summary, I will continue to go back for the pancakes, and keep my expectations low about the service.

This is a breakfast review. I was in search of yummy waffles- soft with just a hint of crispness (not overly crispy.) These fit the bill! They were perfect. I was very satisfied. I tasted hubby's pancakes- outstanding. Very friendly service. Some people are just way too petty and anything short of being bowed to and curtsied to they are just not happy. UPDATE- I removed a star because they do not offer pure maple syrup, only that fake chemical crap. I cannot eat that due to its disgusting taste and it ruined my experience.

I've tried so hard to like this restaurant, but honestly, I've yet to have a truly outstanding experience. There are so many little things that disappoint me such as: 1) I always struggle to get a refill on my coffee, 2) I have to buy my son a glass of milk even though all other drinks are included with the kids' meals (no upgrade fee, just full price additional), 3) the manager/owner/host always looks crabby or angry and the girls at the counter are unfriendly, 4) I've gotten the wrong food more than once, and 5) the tables are so crammed together that it's challenging to move through the restaurant to get to/from your table. The food is decent, but doesn't make up for the less-than-appealing items above and the price is on the high end of average. The place is always packed, so either I have terrible luck and simply don't appreciate it for the excellent restaurant that it it, or Bartlett residents have no where else to go for breakfast...

  • Stan Y.

The only reason I can come up with as to why Savoury is so busy all of the time, is because the have practically anything and everything on the menu....making it a good place to choose when your group can't decide on a place. But because they try to do it all, they don't do much of it very well. Food isn't bad; it's just not that good. It's hard to screw up breakfast, but we find even those items lacking in flavor and preparation. It's certainly not worth the effort to fight the crowds and noise...and man is it loud. Service isn't very good or friendly and the place feels kind of dingy. Bartlett could use a good, quality breakfast/diner kind of place; 'cause this ain't it.

I might be biased coz the hubby knows the owner but i'll be impartial as much as i can. We always go here for brunch if possible, prefers this over Brunch cafe in Roselle due to their portion sizes. Pancakes are substantial, crepes are yummy and for me, i always go for bacon! The service has left something to be desired....

After reading mixed reviews, my wife and I were a little scepticle about coming here for breakfast at the recommendation of our vet. The staff was friendly and attentive. They had someone constantly filling our coffee. Honestly it's a good thing but it throws off my creamer/sweetener to coffee ratio! Anyway, we ordered a corned beef skillet and the German pancake to split. The skillet came first at our request because the German pancake takes 45 minutes to cook. The skillet was good. A little bland but still good. The hash browns were the only disappointment at all. It was just raw potatoes put in the skillet and cooked with everything else. The had no color or much flavor. Also, regular pancakes (or toast) came with it as well. The pancakes were very good. These are a must when here for breakfast. The German pancake came out much later. It is HUGE! Kind of like a giant popover, except doughy in the center. It comes with lemon, butter, powdered sugar and syrup. Honestly, simple is best. A little butter, lemon and powdered sugar was great! The rest will be going back home with us!

I have been to this place a number of times and it is pretty good. I normally get the Southwest Omelet which has a generous helping of chorizo, tomatoes, onions, cheese and avocado. I also tried the Gyro skillet which was surprisingly good, except not too sure if the feta cheese really worked too well with the combination. My comments on the coffee would have to be nothing because they dont really do anything too special, but nothing bad either. The service was very inconsistent for me. I've always gone on days where it has a nice handful of customers and I would either receive a lot of attention from our waitress or often be forgotten and have to wait an extra 15 minutes to get our check. Also when the busboy cleans up the dishes, I dont think he's aware that throwing the dishes ontop of each other makes a loud noise, because it becomes very loud and annoying.

I really want to like this place since it's so close to my house but they sure do make it difficult. I know I'm picky, I'll be the first to admit it, but in this economy they should be a little more aware of their guests' needs and be attentive. Strike One: October-ish. Went there alone since my husband was out of town. Was treated like an inconvenience by the host staff. They were busy helping couples and families and didn't seem to want to even acknowledge that I walked in. Food was good, but who cares about that when you don't feel welcome. Strike Two: December. Decide to give it another shot, this time with my husband. Again, FOH staff not that friendly - sorry we're inconveniencing you by asking for a table! Water and tea refills really slow. Breakfast okay, but again who cares when you don't feel welcome. Strke three: husband home sick. I called to see what soups they had so I could place a take out order. Person who answered phone tells me the soups of the day and literally hangs up - doesn't say 'thank you', 'would you like to place a take out order', 'screw you', NOTHING. Hangs up on me!!! You're out!

Savoury has always been a mix of good and bad for me. However, it's never been awful. Just sort of.... meh. First and foremost: my go-to item in this restaurant is the Athenian style skirt steak. Delicious, savory (har, har), and cooked to perfection. Anytime I have strayed off the beaten path and ordered anything else, I have been sorely disappointed. One time I ordered the Chicken Pesto Ciabatta. Big mistake. The ciabatta was extremely mealy, had a ton of flour dusted on it, and tasted pretty stale. The pesto was bland, and the arugula was beyond bitter. Another time I ordered a Mediterranean panini, and the roasted red peppers tasted tinny. They do make their own Greek yogurt, but every time I have gone there, they are either in the process of making it or have run out. So the food my son likes the most, he has never tried. Ahh well. All in all its an okay place. Service is never wonderful, mostly a bit slow, and while they don't rush you out the door, they also don't go out of their way to make you feel welcome.

Great pancakes, everything else just good. They dont do anything wrong but they dont do anything great either. Never been there outside of breakfast. Very basic if your in the area its perfect but would not go out of my way. Not a lot of other choices in the area

So, I discovered this place when I was invited to breakfast right after Columbus Day with my in-laws and their friends who live in the area. I wanted to try their version of the apple pancake then, but didn't have enough time to do so. My husband and I sat down to our first meal at Savoury Restaurant and Pancake Cafe. This place has not been in the Bartlett area for very long, but it seems to do well. We went both at breakfast time (9am-10am) and at dinnertime (5:30-6:30). The place seemed to fill up nicely after 6pm though, so, the food must be good. They say that you can tell the caliber of a restaurant by their breakfasts, if they serve them, so, off we went into our breakfast adventure. So, I had their "Nutty Banana French Toast", which was very nicely done. The thick slices of bread and the dusting of powdered sugar, maple pecan syrup drizzle, and fluffy french toast was very delicious. I also had some eggs (sunny-side up), applewood smoked bacon, and hash browns. Their hash browns were well done, not burnt or underdone, but just right. The eggs were done exactly how I would expect them to be and the bacon was crisped up nicely. I just had some white toast, which was toasted perfectly. I ended up taking the french toast home with me for later. The second trip to Savoury happened soon after the first. Since, I had not tried their Large Apple Pancake, I decided to have breakfast for dinner today. I ordered what I ordered last time, but the apple pancake instead of the french toast. The Large Apple Pancake took 35 minutes to cook and I was really looking forward to it. I had finished my eggs and bacon portion of my meal, which was still as great as I remember it from last time. When the Large Apple Pancake came out, it didn't look like I would expect.... Where was the sickenly sweet, cinnamon-sugar glaze on top? Where were the sweet apple slices (they ended up rather tart/sour)? Where was the CAKE in this apple panCAKE? There was none...only an omelette and the bottom was burnt pretty badly. It mostly looked like it hadn't been flipped over cause after tearing my fork through it, much like Gordon Ramsay inspects a dish from any other chef, I found there was no cake component in this supposed pancake. :( I flipped it over to taste a little bit of the cinnamon-sugariness I had been spoiled by places that do Apple Pancakes justice like Walker Bros Pancake House in Arlington Heights or Richard Walker's Pancake House in Schaumburg. I was very disappointed and let my disappointment be known by telling my server how I didn't enjoy it at all and didn't want to take it home with me. She ended up taking the apple pancake off our bill, so, I will give kudos to the management for their customer satisfaction in their food. :) Despite the apple pancake let-down, the service was great. Drinks refilled regularly and our breakfast-for-dinner meal was overall pretty darn good. Bathrooms are nice and clean and the restaurant decor and ambiance were like most pancake houses I've been in. Would I return to Savoury Restaurant and Pancake Cafe? Sure, it's close, and its breakfast rocks so far! :) I haven't had any of their other non-breakfast items yet, but I will eventually. Definitely check it out for breakfast, but maybe NOT the Apple Pancake.

Meh indeed. Cannot recommend for dinner. Nothing was really horribly wrong per se, but nothing much was right either. Maybe we'll come back to try the breakfast someday but most definitely not for dinner.

I thought this was an Italian restaurant at first...mainly because before I saw the place, my sister called it "sah-VOR-ee", completely throwing me off. The wait was a little longer than we were told, but it was a Saturday morning, so it was pretty busy. Once our order was taken, though, our food came FAST (though we did only order two dishes). I had one of their specialties, the corned beef skillet. While it was a little lacking in corned beef and was loaded a bit much with hash brown, it was still tasty, and big. The pancakes that came with were fluffier than at other places, but I still didn't finish 'em (not a big pancake fan, personally). My mom, however, helped finish off what I had left. My sister and mom liked the southwestern omelet they shared, but I didn't hear any outstanding praise for it. The place is new, clean, and bright. The employees were a bit curt, but it's hard to complain when the food comes out so quickly. I'm just happy that there's another local place in Bartlett to go for food (along with Dogfather and TL's).

My boyfriend and I ended up here last night for dinner when we were disappointed to find the Creaper-ia next door is closed on Mondays. I have been to Savoury before for breakfast on a busy weekend morning and it was great; fast service, good breakfast food. Last night it was moderately busy, I would say about a third full. We got breakfast food for dinner, our server was very attentive, food was good. I can see where people say the food is bland, it doesn't seem like they add salt to their food. Since that is how I cook at home, I appreciate it. You can always add if you want, you can't take it out. I will say, their pancakes are awesome, the best I've had at a restaurant. We will be back!

I've only had breakfast food here but both times, it was excellent! The place is always filled up even during weekday brunch times. I've had the crepes here twice and they are sooo good. I've also had the Vegetarian Omlette which comes with pancakes! The portions are fairly large and I've never been able to finish most of what I order. The servers are super-friendly and atmosphere is very comfortable. It's a great place to eat and enjoy a great conversation with good company. I brought two of my close friends here and it's fun to just sit in the booth, eat, drink coffee and talk. Will definitely keep going back!

I've been here for breakfast twice, when it's my turn to visit my friend in her hood. The place is cute, always super busy on Sundays. Coffee is good, food is OK. On both visits we were completely rushed. About one minute after we sat down, our waitress came over and asked us if we were ready. Um, no we haven't evened opened the menu, so let's start w/coffee. Great. As soon as our coffee was served, we were asked if we were ready yet. So we placed our order, food was out in about 7 minutes, and our check was placed on our table before we were finished eating! She must have come back twice to ask if we were done or if we needed anything else. This happened BOTH times we were there. I get you're busy, and by no means did we plan on staying hours to sit and chat, but I thought it was completely rude to rush us through our meal. We'll be looking for a new breakfast joint next time.

Great breakfast joint. Way too much on the menu. Makes it hard to choose, especially when you're starving. Everything they bring out looks delicious. Never had bad breakfast food here yet. Staff has also always been fast, friendly, and more then accomodating to special requests.

My first trip here was good but the second not so much. They have very good stuffed French toast which I had the first time around. This time I had skirt steak eggs Benedict - the steak was cooked properly but tasted burned and charred which overpowered the taste of the dish - very unfortunate. Additionally, the hollandaise was very bland. The front window boasts that it was "nominated best breakfast in Chicagoland area". I might agree on my first visit but this second time around....not so much.

At first my wife and I fell in love with this restaurant. The food was great and the place looked much better than many restaurants. With time, though, the place started to not taste as good as before and we both felt it was overpriced. The food is decent but the prices are a bit high for the quality that is served. There are many better restaurants that are within driving range. Overall I would recommend going to Barrington, Schaumburg, or Saint Charles if you are going to spend the money. The menu is too limited and food is merely OK.

I'm rating on the breakfast only- as that's all I've had. Went there at a peak time on Sunday morning. This was first time there, so when I saw the crowd waiting for a table and the modest sized dining area, I was going to come back another time. Hostess said it would be about 20 minutes so we decided to wait it out, and it was 15 minutes before we were seated. Ordered poached eggs and their Italian French Toast. Their poached eggs were cooked perfectly, something I appreciate as I've had overcooked eggs too often. Their Italian French Toast is what other restaurants usually refer to as strawberry stuffed french toast. This was done with a standard thickness bread, with mascarpone spread between the slices (3 in all) and fresh strawberries sliced over. A surprising addition of texture was crunchy granola on top as well. I appreciated that this was not as sweet as most others, and I loved the addition of granola. The only complaint is that I would have liked just a bit more strawberry. Probably one additional strawberry sliced was all that was needed. Overall the service was quick and pleasant. I thought the hostess was very nice and apologized for the wait when seating us. Coffee came right away and order shortly after. I do plan on returning to try their pancakes.

We live very close to this restaurant and order carryout from them at least once a month. My wife usually orders a salad and I order Athenian chicken or fish. Tonight's order was just outstanding. Everything was done well. Her cobb salad was fresh and loaded with chicken. My tilapia florentine was cooked perfectly, as was the accompanying zucchini, baked potato and salad. We will be back soon.

I've been coming to Savoury for breakfast for a few months now. It's my new regular place for breakfast and I'm very happy with it in every way. The food is very good, the servers are wonderful, I like the room, and they have plenty of 4-top booths, which I prefer. The people really make the difference and the staff at Savoury is generally very interested in providing great service, making sure everything is to your liking.

We travel fifteen minutes further to a competing restaurant every weekend. This should tell you enough. Service is spotty, the bill is always wrong (usually over charged for kids menu items). Quality of food is not that great. I get the impression that cheaper, lower quality ingredients are used. For example, the bacon is very thin. Also, the coffee is ok, but service not good enough to keep the cup filled. We will return once or twice a year since it is located so close to our home and we like to keep our business local, but I would not hesitate to go somewhere else.

I've read some of the reveiws for this place and I am shocked that people actually like this joint. I've gone here several times with my family to get dinner and only once have I been here for their Breakfast. Usually for dinner I stick to their burgers which are pretty good, but you defintely can get better else where. Their fries are steak fries which are very potatoey (if that's a word, haha). But I must say they have very good soup which comes with the meal. As for the breakfast, I ordered an omlet and my 2 friends I went with ordered eggs, bacon, hashbrowns and toast. My friend ordered her eggs overeasy and they brought out half cooked eggs, and all of our hashbrowns were saturated in oil and not even cooked. As for my omlet the waitress put it down infront of me and it literally fell apart. It looked like a bunch of scrambles eggs mushed together to create the appearence of an omlet. I had maybe 2 bites out of it and couldn't eat anymore..it just had no taste to it. I brought it home hoping maybe someone would eat it after paying $9.00 for it. My mom was the unlucky one to eat most of it that morning. The next day she got violently sick and was throwing up for a week after eating that omlet. After that, nobody I know has gone back since. We'll stick to The Nest, thanks!!

Its best to go in there when it is busy. I had good service when it was busy. When it wasnt, I had a very inexperienced and slow waiter. They serve more frozen food that they must make in a microwave, not fresh cooked food.

Awesome Awesome breakfast!!!!!!!!!! I have eaten there at all different times of the day and by far breakfast is the best! As the other reviewer stated lunch is second then dinner....If you plan on going there on the weekend be prepared for a wait! As they are very busy! Truly a family restaurant run by a local family! Service is something to be desired but I will deal with the less than perfect service for the best breakfast food! It truly is the best breakfast food! Their decor is pleasant with neutral colors, bathrooms always maintained and clean, A television in the dining area for those Sunday game watchers..... The only problem I have had there is the servers......I have had to ask or wait a while for a refill sometimes ask more than once...occasionally I have had an instance where we didn't see our server for some time! But otherwise IT IS AMAZINGLY GOOD BREAKFAST!!!! It can accomidate a group but I wouldn't say a very large group maybe 7 - 8 at most....but I would call ahead for a group!

An average family-style restaurant. The building is in a newer, modern strip mall type setting. Inside, the decor was simple, warm and up to date (earth tones, wooden floor, stone tiles). A large, flat panel TV screen hangs overhead on the far wall which was tuned to a sports station and visible to most of the restaurant. Food was good. The Cinnamon Raisin French Toast had a little too much egg coating for my preference, but it was still good. Their Tex Mex panini was pretty tasty (chicken breast, avocado, cilantro, scallions, red peppers, monterrey jack cheese). The service was friendly. Their menu features breakfast entrees, but also has a section with lunch and dinner options (salads, steaks, seafood, Mediterranean entrees, paninis, sandwiches). They also have a kid's menu section. Savoury is west of the Bartlett Metra station, a little less than a mile down on West Bartlett Road (aka Railroad Avenue).

Strange to read many bad reviews on this place. We really enjoyed it. Went on a Friday night and they had an all you can eat fish fry special which was very good and huge portions. The decor was nicer and more upscale than most diner kind of "family restaurants". Have not tried them for breakfast yet, but looks like it'd be a great place for that too.

I'm always in search of a good neighborhood breakfast cafe. Savoury is probably one of the better establishments in the area. I've eaten at enough dives in the area to realize that this is a hidden gem. The place is clean, the staff is friendly, the food is very good and the price is very reasonable. For instance, for $6.49 you can get a huge omelet that comes with hash browns and toast or pancakes. The omelet itself is excellent. I consider myself a hearty eater and I have yet to finish one of their omelets. For the steak and egg lovers, they have a good sized portion of meat for this manly breakfast classic. If you come on the weekends, expect a wait. You'll be competing with the church-goers coming out and the locals for seats.

This is my go-to breakfast joint. Whether it's steak and eggs, extra thick french toast, or just the classic sunny-side up, this place always delivers. It get's a little busy around 9-10am, so I plan ahead. The staff works their tail off, and the food is never cold. The menu features skillets and lunches, too, although I like to stick to the traditional breakfast meals.

I would definitely suggest Savoury if you are looking for a pancake house that is more than a pancake house. Their diversity of food has made this a family favorite of ours. I must admit that the others in the family absolutely love this place, while I also enjoy going. It is a great place to calm down and enjoy some good food.

Bread basket is the only thing that makes this restaurant stand out from any other. The greek salad dressing is the worst I have ever tasted but everything else is reliable.

We used to like this restaurant and visited it often. BUT, We had a very unfortunate experience tonight (Thursday at 6 p.m. 5/5/2011) so I doubt we'll go there to eat again. The hostess had MAJOR attitude; I'm sorry she is bored and hates her job but she shouldn't greet customers with a bored "Hi. Want a table or a booth?" and toss a couple menus on the table. No smiles; no response. Willing to let that go and chalk it up to a young woman poorly trained. The food was all right and we had a pleasant perky waitress but one who hasn't been taught not to address every customer with "What can I get for YOU GUYS?" We are not GUYS! Manager train your waitresses! Then when I went to pay, my debit card didn't work. The rude hostess swiped it the second time and then laid it down on the counter saying, "This card doesn't work." I asked what she wanted me to do and she replied, "I have to have another card." I gave her another but was insulted and angered by her rude behavior as I knew very well that the card was valid. Her response: "It works for everyone else." I signed the bill and commented that she needs to work on her customer relations. Her response: "Well, I don't know what you want me to say." I know our lack of visits won't make the restaurant go out of business but I will not patronize a restaurant where I am treated rudely or get the attitude that hostess gave us. Do these people get any training in how to treat customers? Doesn't appear to be so. If you'd like rude treatment with mediocre food, Savoury may be the choice for you.

I would defintely recommend going to Savoury. Have been there several times and enjoy the food. We enjoy breakfast the best and lunch second as a family. We are not thrilled with dinner because of the limited menu. We enjoy family owned and local places. I would recommend.

Tried to give this place a fair shot but have decided to give up. Been there a couple times and both times left disappointed. Waited way too long for our food, espicially for them being so slow, and it was just ok. Servers were too busy talking to manager up front and texting on their cell phones rather than taking care of us, the customer. Our server was mostly in the kitchen hanging out in there, like there was something more important happening in there than taking care of us. Also, waiting longer than five minutes for check is so ANNOYING. If your into quiet ok dinners, by yourself, with all the time in the world to wait for a simple refill this will be the perfect place for you.

if you look at the reviews of this place, there seems to be a trend. It used to be good, but it now is not good. I agree with that trend. When they first opened, the food was pretty good, and I personally was just happy to have a new restaurant in Bartlett, since they are pretty hard to come by. The food slowly went downhill, but I agree with others that have said it's the attitudes of the staff that have driven me away. They are so rude and pretentious, and really appear bothered that you are interrupting their day by coming in and making them find you a table and such. And the owner is the worst!! He can have his table, I'll go elsewhere for far better food with a whole lot less attitude.
