We have ordered from Yen Chin many many ones and the food is always great!! We have had delivery and also carry out, both of which have been great! We love the special pan fried noodle, general tso chicken, and their pot stickers. Also have had the bulgogi (was just ok) and the kal bi (yummy). All in all, very good food and great service!!

Solid place for Chinese takeout. They do have some tables in there but I would not consider eating the restaurant. One of the things this restaurant has that you cannot find most places is Bulgogi (Korean BBQ); theirs is especially good and my son will pass on any other restaurant to get this one dish. I cannot say that any other dish grabs me like the Bulgogi but that one is enough to cause me to visit every so often.

First time ordering, delivery was FAST, the Hot and Sour soup was outstanding. The General Tsos Chicken was well done, not too sweet or too spicy. The second dish was Beef With Snow Peas. Lots of vegtables and nice flavor just not enough beef...

Best lunch and dinner specials around! My husband and I tried to eat here a few times but had always been turned down from a note on the door. We decided to try again recently and we were glad we did. We ordered dinner platters which come with your choice of fried or steamed white rice, egg roll or piece of crab rangoon, your main dish, and a can of soda - all under 10 bucks! We got two chicken dishes, both egg rolls and rangoon, both types of rice and it was all pretty decent. I spoke with the family who owns it and they were very friendly and accommodating. They apologized about my previous experiences trying to try them out, and offered a discount for my appetizer. We both enjoyed our meals, had left overs for lunch the next day and the best part is that they are close to home. We will be back, and soon!

Yeah. "Meh" pretty much says it for me. I got the General Tsao's beef. It was prepared quickly and nice and hot, temperature-wise. The rice was great, and the sauce was sweet and garlicky, just the way I like it. It had a little spicy tang, but had quite a way to go before it approached too spicy for me. I got a large and it easily provided three meals. My issue was with the beef pieces. Each was comprised of about 3/4 breading and 1/4 beef. And the beef wasn't great. It had quite a bit of gristle. And, as I said, the whole package provided three meals (dinners, on successive days for me). Those weren't good days. Each day, I had a tummyache and let's just say some intestinal distress. Now, I can't prove what caused those conditions and frankly, I really don't know for sure. But I don't have what I'd consider a delicate digestive tract and don't often have those kinds of issues. Let's just say it was a coincidence that won't be repeated.

I will not use this place in future. made me pay in cash. They only had 5 shrimps in the large shrimp fried rice order. when I complained they responded buyer be ware. you should have asked how many shrimps we put in. The owner explained he did not care for my feed back or business. The business is in a strip mall and he depends on one time customer he does not need repeat business. I will never go back and suggest others not to use this establishment.

Friendly people and good atmosphere. The food is also good with plenty of options for vegetarians and carnivores alike.

Over the years I feel like I have given this place too much credit. After tasting other local places like Gourmet House I have to say I'd prefer them over Yen Ching.

This is my FAVORITE chinese takeout! The family running it is so sweet, and their food is fantastic. I swear by the hunan chicken, mongolian beef, and fried rice (chicken). The boyfriend got sesame chicken, which is a little sweet for my taste, but he was a big fan. Keep up the good work!

We love Chinese and tried all the places in the area...this is the best Chinese food in the area, hands down. My wife and I always get the General Tso's chicken and it is spicy! Try it, you won't be disappointed!

I decided to give this place a try on the way back home one day. I usually don't have high expectations for places like this since they are just basic carryout fare. However, the Mongolian Beef I got was just terrible. The meat was rubbery and you have to chew ten times just to be able to swallow it. They gave large portions, but the fried rice and egg roll was mediocre and ALOT of "meh" doesn't really make me feel like money well spent.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
