Barbeque & More Menu

Sorry, We are updating this restaurant menu details.

In my opinion, this is the best food in the area for the price. This is the second time we've gotten food from this place. Both times, the food was delicious. As others have said, get the mango shake! So yummy! It goes perfectly with the spices in the chicken curry, chicken seekh kabab, or the chicken tikka. My favorite is the chicken tikka. I hope more people discover this place so it sticks around. Real food at a great price! The restaurant is very clean, but as others have said it is more of a carry out place.

So glad we have something totally new in the area! The cuisine is Pakistani (close to Indian), and so good and fresh. Amazing flavor, an expanding menu and obvious attention to detail and quality. And the price is right too. You have to give it a try. The chicken is out of this world ... I cannot wait to go back.

First, the decor is not great. But, if you are able to overlook the lack of decor......they will more than are up for it with delicious food. The portions are large and the food is delicious. My husband and myself usually order a couple different things, then split it. That way we are able to try even more menu items. The owners/employees are so helpful and want to treat you like a guest. Love the place.

Ok, first and foremost, this is NOT a Barbeque place....so if you are looking for some nice Texas, Kansas City, or Carolina Barbeque, you are at the wrong place. Second, if I had to guess, this place is not long for this world, unless it is sufficing to be a some sort of money laundering operation. I got the Chicken Kabob Wrap, with the "patatoe pancake". The wrap had really no taste other than the seeds of some sort of root that infected virtually everything it touched. The chicken was cooked well (the only reason to give it a single star). the "Patatoe" pancake however, seriously what the heck is that? It came in a package with a slice of kraft american cheese pseudo-melted on top. Al I can say is this, my dog wouldn't eat it, and he eats his own poop. Now, if you were to rate this as an Indian restaurant, well, it still isn't all that great. The menu is VERY limited, some items say they include fries, but if you ask them, they actually do not make fries (not that fries are an Indian food). The price is ok, I suppose, if you are willing to pay for food that is just not good. There are plenty of other places around that server this kind of food, for the same price, that tastes much better, and there are plenty of other places around that actually sell what we American's consider "barbeque" that are clearly better than this place. Take your chances elsewhere.

New place in Algonquin and delicious. The name made us think American barbeque, but it is actually Indian. We tried the Chicken Tikka, Chicken Seekh Kabob and the Hunter beef wrap. All three were very fresh and flavorful. Also had the pineapple and mango shake., both good but mango better. We will certainly come back and highly recommend. It is nice to have more ethnic food choices around.

Great tasting indian, somewhat limited menu with daily specials. My one complaint, they keep forgetting my food! 2nd visit they forgot my potato pancakes, this last time I ordered extra bread with the tika chicken (which comes already with bread), didn't get ANY bread?! You're 2 guys running that place, and at the time during 20 minutes waiting for food nobody was in dining or picking up, how do you screw that up? I'd rather wait 30 minutes for my food if it means getting it right.

The name of the restaurant is somewhat misleading. They do not serve American Barbeque and probably don't want alienate the market so are assume low key that it is Pakistani since beef is on the menu. That would be hard to find in an Indian restaurant. With that said the food we had was excellent on a Sunday afternoon. We had the two specials, Chicken Curry and Chicken Biryani. Both Chickens were good and the basmati rice both had flavor and was not dry. Everything tasted fresh. Also to my surprise the food was not killer spicy hot. They will make a mango lassi (w/ yogurt) instead of a shake (w/ milk) that's on the menu. Ours was good. For those who eat either Indian or Pakistani food often may find the scoville level a little low but they had hot sauce on the side. Being able to taste the ethnic flavors is what made the food so appealing. We will be back to try other items. I hope they will catch on since this area is devoid of both good ethnic restaurants and little restaurants for quality food and not big budgets. My only complaint is there are no salads (which I know is an American thing) and they really did not have any of the ethnic side dishes. But what they do have on the menu they appear to be doing very well and that's more important. The restaurant is very clean but it really is not really a dine in place.

Ate here Sunday with the family. Had the Chicken Biryani, Chicken Curry, and Chicken Tikka. All three dishes were great! Nice change from the norm. Ambience needs work, but the service was excellent. They are very courteous and accommodating. The owner even gave us a sample of a beef stew dish that was surprisingly awesome! Bottom line, If you are tired of the usual crap we have out here in the Algonquin/LITH/Huntley area, give them a shot. You will not be disappointed.

While the men behind the counter were well meaning, I have a feeling that the days are numbered for this establishment. First, the name. After reading glowing Yelp reviews, I was pleasantly surprised to learn that Barbecue and More was actually an Indian restaurant. Excited to learn that an Indian place had opened so near my home, I headed right over. While I was standing at the counter and looking over the menu, the employees (owners?) steered me toward the dish that probably most resembled American-style BBQ beef. Guessing that they have suffered a never ending stream of mislead customers expecting, well, barbecue, they had come to anticipate confusion and disappointment and tried to sell me what they thought I wanted. One guy even brought out a sample of the Hunter Beef. Not bad. But it wasn't what I was there for. Sadly, my anticipation would soon turn to disappointment. I ordered three meals. The chicken tikka was OK, but not properly grilled. The chicken Seekh Kabab was something new to me. An interesting way to prepare ground chicken, but I wouldn't order it again. The Bhari Kabob was a disgusting mess and all but one bite went straight into the trash. Each meal comes with rice and a chilled salad, both of which were very good. The paratha bread, though, is no substitute for a freshly baked piece of naan. I'll pass. I don't regret sampling their fare, but if the guy had given me a receipt, I might have bothered to ask for part of my money back. Perhaps your meals will be better?

The chicken biryani was tasty and freshly made. The paratha (flat bread) is addicting. My family loved the food. We came back the next day! So glad to have Indian cuisine in the area. A nice change from typical options in the area.

This place is just amazing. Never had any chicken any better! It is all made to order (so be prepared for a wait) and the meat is buttery and just melts in your mouth. I try to come at least once a week and order the same thing: Boti Chicken Wrap!

This place is excellent.!! Wish we found it sooner. I hope more people discover this place so it can stay in business. We tried about everything that was on the menu as far as the different meats and everything was great. So flavorful and yummy. Lighter than Indian food, sooo good. Go here and support this business!

Went to this place on a recommendation from my neighbor. Ordered the chicken tikka extra spicy and one of their board specials, Chana puri. Was not disappointed in the least. Limited menu for now, but hopefully we see them grow their business. Recommend giving them a shot.

The BBQ here is excellent! Its not your typical BBQ joint with ribs and hot wings slathered in BBQ sauce. This is better (and healthy!) They have chicken tikka, kababs, lamb, and salmon.etc. Fruit shakes are good. Atmosphere is cafe like and very clean.

Very good food! It took a while, but was obviously made fresh to order. I had the chicken biryani, which was excellent!

Best Tandoori chicken I've ever had and the Chicken Biryani was also great! We asked if they had samosas because they weren't on their (limited) menu and they did have some great samosas as well. We'll definately back but we hope they change the name to help them get more business!

Great food with excellent quality! We got Chicken Tikka and Chicken Biryani. The Chicken was very fresh and very well seasoned and cooked. Spicy food is tricky as it is not about the quantity but balance. And this place strikes a great balance. Also nice people running the place. They seem committed to quality food and customer satisfaction.

Excellent food , Friendly staff. Service is a little slow only because the food is freshly prepared, but always worth the wait

Saturday afternoon we had the opportunity to try this establishment. The menu was very limited. The prices were on the higher side. The restaurant was very quiet and only had a few tables. Went to order something to drink and was told the soda machine was down that they were waiting for vendor to come and repair. Only had bottled drinks available. The food order however was so very delicious. We did have to wait a bit but it was truly freshly prepared just for our order. We (3 of us) ordered a wrap. (I had chicken boti) The wrap itself had such a wonderful flavor. The meat was tender and juicy. Perfectly cooked. We asked for the sauce and other fixings on the side. The plate of veggies came out very neatly put together. Can tell that this owner has pride in what he is serving. Over all I enjoyed the meal. I wish this owner the best of luck as the name of the restaurant is miss leading and the menu is limited. I'm afraid this place won't last long. I will be back!! (As long as it is open)

Not sure what kind of people are reviewing this place but I can assure you this is not good Indian food. I can't even really classify it as even being Indian food. I ordered two of the chicken wraps and a chicken leg. All I can say is gross. I kept showing my husband the chicken and asking him if it was undercooked. The meat was either really rubbery and had an unusual texture from marinating too long or it was undercooked. I tried to order one of the two breads they offer and was told by both owners I wouldn't like it. The actual words were " this is only for diabetics". Very off putting and creepy. I can assure you I will not be a repeat customer and wish I could get my close to 20 dollars back. What a waste!

I love Barbeque & More. They use the freshest ingredients to produce a delicious blend of flavors. While their "menu" items may not be particularly spicy, they have wonderful flavor AND they will gladly spice it up for you. After my first few visits, I now just ask them to bring me something spicy. Today, I had chicken with rice that featured orange zest and star anise with plenty of heat! As a treat, I sampled the lassi.. Delicious! Do yourself a favor and give them a try.

We visited again this past Saturday. Can't say enough good things about the food and service. The restaurant is getting busy but the quality of the food is still excellent. If you have not been there yet, you need to visit.

Good neighborhood (behind Caputo's) Indo Pak food. Biryani and Frankie rolls are pretty good. Small menu, but good stuff.

This place is awesome. We finally get an actual restaurant out here and of course it is not that busy. The food is incredible. I hope this place makes it!! It might be hard for a place like this to make it where so many people have "cracker mouth." This is better than greasy Chinese food as well. Healthy, flavorful, fun, and delicious! We will be back.
