Stayed next door at the Clarion while hosting a training for a week. Having never been to Idaho, I tried to stay close to the hotel. Chris, the manager, and her daughter: awesome individuals who know how to make a stranger feel at home. I ordered a latte and bagel and left with so much more. CHRIS EVEN OFFERED TO SHOW ME SOME TRAILS! (I was asking what there was to do locally aside from browse Fred Meyer) This shop is managed by awesome personalities and it doesn't hurt that the mini cinibuns and Tahitian vanilla coffee is to die for ;)

I tried this place twice and both times the baristas were either unfriendly or unwelcoming. The coffee was not good in the slightest. Way too watery.

I actually tried several times to go here but I always managed to get there after 6 but finally I made it early enough. The barista was very nice but I was surprised to see that her very long hair was not pulled back in the slightest. The prices are about like any other coffee shop but the coffee was not. I got a regular mocha and was surprised by how mediocre it was considering the price. It tasted like watered down coffee, not like espresso, and I never once tasted the mocha. I added some sugar from their nice little add-in counter to make it drinkable but that's all it was. It had a shabby coffee shop air which, if I ever went back, would be a relatively nice place to study or read but I'd rather pay a little more for much better coffee and drink it standing up if I had to.

I was here a couple of times since the place is right across the street from the motel I stayed at - the shop was a convenient jot. I ordered a large iced coffee without sweeter and my GF ordered the Elvis drink, which is basically what Elvis used to eat but in a cup. It was pretty tasty and my coffee was excellent. The girls prepare everything to order, so you will never get anything that's not stale or not fresh. I forget the brand of coffee they used for my iced tea but it was strong and robust. That's the way I like it. Oh, and the price was way cheaper than a typical Starbucks coffee. The only awkward thing about the shop is the placement of the drive-thru. It's very cumbersome trying to navigate through it but whatever. In terms of service and quality Snake River gets it done.

A lot nicer place than Starbucks to come and study with a cup of Jo. The shop was clean and the four lazy boy chairs were comfortable. Will be coming back

We stopped into Snake River after spending the night in Pocatello on a road trip. The weekday morning rush seemed to be professionals on their way to work. Many in line knew each other, and the baristas knew many of their clients, too - a good sign. The feel is airy and bright, featuring local artists on the walls and selling locally made crafts on their shelves. Options were plentiful, and all were pleased with their drinks (although some fell on the too-sweet side). Good family-friendly coffee house with room to work and magazines to browse through. Next time I'm in Pocatello, I'll stop back through!

This is really a great coffee shop. I don't feel like I am in Pocatello when I go in here. The baristas are excellent and friendly. There is room to sit and enjoy or study. My two year old likes going here.
