I decided to try a new restaurant. At first glance inside, its set very beautiful. However once sat we were waiting for 10min before even being asked of our order. Moving forward, i ordered calamari rings. It literally tasted like it was frozen then thrown into the fryer. I then ordered a Poseidon sandwich... It said nothing about tasting like its been cooked w/ a gallon of vinegar. I then saw the cook in the back cooking and there was no hair net or a beard net. Service was slow and uncaring. I will not be returning.

This is a really great place. I lived in Greece and Cyprus and the food here is on par with what you'd expect to find in a nice restaurant in the Mediterranean. I hated their Spanikopita; however, that's my subjective opinion. The flaming cheese, salad, pita, taziki, chicken souvlaki, all were prepared and tasted authentic. For a small town and it's quaint location, it's a really great Greek restaurant. They also have a large, cute patio seating area where you can smoke (very Greek!)

Great Gyros and EXCELLENT Dolmades! I had the same in a highly recommended restaurant in Florida and I was not impressed! But of course I've been eating at Grecian Key my whole life... With that said, they could update the decor, but it sure is Greek! A little crowded and the waitresses and waiters are questionable, but as long as they serve my food and check on me that's all they are needed for!

I travel for work. A lot. You would not believe how hard it is to find a decent gyro. Good job, Key. The Greek appetizer plate, not even going to brutalize the names, was also awesome. Freindly staff, quick service, and again, good gyros. Check it out.

I would give the gyro 3/5. Interior decorations and experience 1.5/5. Service 4/5. Cottage fries 4.5/5.

Stopped on road trip with a large group. Good fried vegetables, vegetarian sandwich, chicken sandwich, hummus plate.

The food was very good. Lots of wonderful flavors to be had. The dinner menu is a bit short but there is a dish for every taste. We went on saturday and saw on the menu they serve a special lamb dish on Fridays only. Would have like to try that. They have outdoor seating in the back and a full bar up front. I guess both these features are new. They were short one waiter so service was a bit slow. We we not in a hurry so this was not a big deal.

First time I went here, had a party of 4. Stood, waiting to be seated for 5 minutes. Two of the waitress walked by us a couple of times and never said anything. They wouldn't even make eye contact. We left and have no plans to ever go back.

This place rocked! I had the special combo, which consisted of grape leaves, souvlaki, etc. It's insanely hearty and insanely delicious! It comes with a great starter salad topped with olives and feta cheese. It's great and a meal unto itself. I partook of their Highland Scotch Ale (a pitcher). The ale was great and had a sweet after taste - nevermind the alcohol content. Bring your appetite, because they do not skimp on portions, service is timely and friendly. Grecian Key won me over on the first time.

The Grecian Key is a great place to sit out on the patio, sip on your favorite Portneuf Valley brew, and eat some yummy Greek food. My usual order includes an* gyro, spanakopita, and dolmathes. They have great tzaksiki and great Greek salads as well. If you're really hungry get the Greek combo appetizer. It is amazing and I swear they give you an entire package of feta with it....ridiculous :) Also, they have fabulous lamb on Fridays along with belly dancers. I have had very slow service a couple times, but nothing too terrible. *I guess using a/an here depends on how you pronounce gyro, lol. If my husband were writing this, he'd use "a".

The first thing I noticed was the dated decor, but I wouldn't have had so much of a problem with it if the lighting had been better. It was really dark in there. I ordered the sample platter, which had a variety of different items. Our salad came first, it was lovely and was composed of Greek olives, perfectly ripened tomatoes, sliced cucumber, greens, and some sort of white dressing (I didn't recognize it as blue cheese, ranch, or caesar). The entree came out far too quickly, I hadn't really a chance to dig into my salad before it was pushed away to make room for the sample platter. The platter had a skewer of some sort of meat, seasoned too strongly and far too dry to know if it was chicken or pork, rice and lamb wrapped in grape leaves (the flavor was really nice, but the rice was overcooked), gyro meat with pita triangles (the meat was far too salty, and the pita tasted stale), some sort of pastry filled with straight-up cream cheese (no seasoning at all), and then what I assumed was moussaka. (I can't really have an opinion on the moussaka, because I've never had it before, I didn't like it, we'll leave it at that.) Everything was too salty, and there was too much oil. The server was really friendly, but didn't seem to know the menu very well, when I asked him what the food items on my plate were, he didn't know, but was able to get a quick response from the kitchen.

Gyros are very good. The service was very friendly and as quick as possible as this is a restaurant not fast food. We will return whenever we are in the area.

Wow..just wow...the decor in here is so 1970's, that I had to laugh. Tackiest decor ever. After eying that hot mess, I wasn't sure what to expect. Amazingly, food was good. I enjoyed their spanokapita and the hummus was nice too. Service was painfully slow...agonizingly slow. Next time, I think I'll order to go, to avoid sitting there and also avoid the horrid decor.

3.5 stars. I had the lamb special and a gyro another time. The lamb and beans were good but the cauliflower was a little weird and didn't really scream Greek to me. The gyro was big and good though which bumps it up from a 3.

Decent! I like the gyros! The baklava is also tasty. Not the best baklava I've ever had but pretty good.

This place is great. Good selection of beer and wine and quick service. Had a gyro and some spanakopita. both were good, the spanakopita came with a small side salad and some ranchy-cheese-deliciousness for a dressing.

Amazing french fries and fry sauce. Gyros are good. The service is pretty bad. Very slow. In fact, I once waited over an hour to get an appetizer then left. At least a half hour wait for food. Good place for lunch if you have a lot of time.

Great Greek food but not AMAZING. It's 3-star A-OK Greek. For Pocatello, that's pretty good. They have exactly what you were expecting as far as gyros go. The lamb special (I believe on Friday) is especially good.
