I must have arrived just after the dinner rush because there were many empty trays and bins...including the salad lettuce. However, I was able to scrape together a nice salad or two, adding many of the favorite toppings calling my name. real tasty. I also tried the fried fish....real tasty, but when I went back for another piece the cooks had restocked the tray and it was then that I realized the fish were swimming in butter... a lot of butter. Very nice lady kept my coffee cup and water glass full, and removed my empty plates. I enjoyed the customer service...and the chit chat...!!!

I Love,Love,Love Golden corral and really wish there was one in Vancouver,Wa nearest one is Marysville. I enjoyed the buffalo boneless wings,the crab slider,the crab ragoon. I really love the chocolate fountain and being able to dip straberries,pineapple,or cookies:-) the food is yummy,service is good.

This is a hit or miss kind of restaurant that focuses o n quantity not quality. I was always hoping I would find something. My last experience I got food poisoning. Very severe. I`ve never been that sick! I reported the restauarnt. and have never been back. Eat there at your own risk

It was awe-inspiring to stand there after receiving my drink and look up and down at the vast expanse of food available to me just for lunch! My Brother lives for buffet's and when I hit town to visit he wanted to take me to two buffet restaurants and this is one of them. I set my expectations pretty low, the price was cheap ($7.39 plus drink) and the decor was bargain basement but this place isn't about those things, it's about large quantities of food served up quick and moving people through the line quickly. A lot of stuff was just okay, the salads were pretty good to be fair but a couple of things actually stuck out in my mind as better than average buffet fare. The fried chicken is excellent, the bourbon chicken was very tasty, the sweet potato was heavenly and the yeast rolls with honey butter was a nice treat. Steamed cauliflower was a nice touch with the cheese sauce Dessert bar is a diabetics worst nightmare, but sinful looking and the pies were very good as was the bread pudding. There is a lot about this place that is cliche for a buffet, like the macaroni and cheese was tasteless and forgettable; the green beans in the oriental area were scrawny looking and just swimming in soy sauce. But, considering all these things I walked out of there full of good enough food that I really am looking forward to returning for dinner and trying the steaks.

What do you say about a buffet. There was a lot of food for lunch time. You can tell this place is geared to the older generation that is fearful of flavor. Everything was on the bland side. I have a habit of trying a bit of the things that look good. The salad bar is great, the meats seemed to be over cooked and the vegies had absolutely no seasonings at all. Kinda high priced for lunch and the fact that they do not include drinks in the price made it more than some dinners I have had and been more satified with. Great place if you want to see the older group of town eating.

if you're looking for a salad bar, save yourself some money and gain quality over at Sizzler. At Golden Corral, you're going to see some American-sized folks--which often only hurts my appetite. The steak-grill man is rather disinterested in what you want and only seeks to move you away, even when the line is empty. The worst part is the creepy "I work for tips" ballon man. Dear lord that is uncomfortable.

Coming in the door I was greeted by a sign that says, essentially, if you have food allergies, go to hell! Or in effect, they are trying to cover themselves legally by telling customers that they eat here at their own risk if they are allergic. In actuality, I found a number of items that I could eat in spite of my wheat allergy. Although, the tasty-looking roast beef and steamed vegetables were destroyed (for me) by the server dumping a load of wheat-infested gravy on them unnecessarily. They could have put the gravy on the side if they weren't so willing to write off customers with varying dietary needs. Still, there was a number of good things for me to eat here - I didn't leave hungry, nor with an allergic reaction (I'm getting pretty good at telling what I can and can't eat, and in controlling my optimism about items that look good but end up being wheaty.) The wait staff was good people. I do think the Pocatello G.C. was just slightly inferior, menu-wise, to the one in Casper, WY (the only other one I've eaten at.) So, my distaste for the sign would not keep me from eating here again, but I'll still downrate this place due to their attitude.)

This is a buffet restaurant. Went there in the late afternoon. Food entrees are better than others. Kids love this place because they can choose what they want. Extra star earned because... Golden Corral had an added touch--a "balloon art" guy! He is actually better than others that I normally see. He made a butterfly and a T-rex for my son and daughter. He works on tips.
