This place is pretty rad. Burgers are fantastic, especially the one with jalapeños. Sometimes service is slow. I think this restaurant could benefit from focusing more on customer service but the food is so good that I can almost completely look past some of the less than reputable service.

So,,, it's not really a true BBQ place, more of a bar with food. But, with that said, here's my review: Since they have BBQ in their name, that's what I went for. I did the 1/2 rack of ribs with potato salad and green beans. They were not "fall off the bone," but they were very meaty and had a very good taste. They state that they are spiced up, but not compared to a true BBQ place. This is probably good for most people, since most don't really like as many spices. They had a light BBQ sauce on them that had a good taste, but wasn't too spicy. All in all, I'd order them again. The side were good. The potato salad was homemade and was great! The green beans had a good taste, but were a little mushy. I would go with something different next time for the green beans. I was here during happy hour, and it's buy one get one on beers, so you can't go wrong there. Had two different beers, both were great. Forgot the service!!! She was pretty attentive even with a 1/2 full house!! She recommended he ribs, so there's another plus for her!!

We stopped in for lunch on the sidewalk patio. Tried the barbeque pulled chicken sandwich, the Ghostbuster sandwich, hush puppies and baked beans. The sandwiches and hush puppies were awesome. The meat was super tender, but the Ghostbuster sandwich is reeeaally spicy. Baked beans were just okay (probably from a can) and the service was perfect.

Food is decent but the banana cream pie sucks and is just like a slop of runny milk also if you order delivery expect to wait atleast an hour -2 hours . I order my food to be delivered and ended up going to picked up my food and they refused to credit back my card on the tip and delivery free.

I hadn't been here for uite a while so I decided to try it for lunch yesterday. My initial reaction was that it was so-so the brisket sandwich was pretty dry and the coleslaw wasn't as good as I'd hoped. That being said I went back today and was more impressed with the Pulled Pork sandwich. The mashed potatoes were pretty good as was the Macaroni salad. All in all though $9.00 for a sandwich and two sides is a bit steep for my liking but I will likely be back in due time. I don't eat lunch out too often. As far as I'm concerned though it is the best Bar-B-Que joint in Moscow.

I hadn't heard much about this place since it opened so I thought I'd give it a try and I must say I was very disappointed. I tried the pulled pork with the spicy sauce, chips and potato salad. For the price I got a lot of food but that's the only good thing about this place. The sandwich was dry and the sauce was way too runny. There was no flavor which is tough to do with BBQ. It was the worst pulled pork sandwich I've ever had. The chips tasted like week old ruffles and the potato salad was average at best. On top of that the service was terrible. They were very unorganized and it didn't seem like anybody had worked in a restaurant before. I would not recommend this place at all as I do not plan on going there again.

I went to Blues Brew & BBQ hoping that it'd be the place for my rib fix (I LOVE RIBS - seriously, beef BBQ ribs will be the main course at my wedding... that and beer. I'm a country girl at heart). I was disappointed, but I also got the distinct feeling that we hit it at the wrong time. The pork ribs were cooked well, not too dry, but were a little chilly for my likes - seemed like the rack had been sitting for a little bit. The ribs on their own were also under-spiced and, as I'm not a fan of vinegar BBQ sauces, they only had one sauce option that I enjoyed pairing with my ribs. They did have an excellent selection of beer, though, so they get points for that. The service was prompt, though not exactly friendly; I felt like I was in a biker bar and wasn't all that welcome... but maybe I was just overly sensitive after having asked for a different table away from the door (I don't like having to ask things - I know how difficult being a server is and sometimes the table seating is important to how the business is operating). The price was amazing, though. I got 1/2 a rack of ribs and 2 sides for $10. It's cheap enough that I'd go back to try it again, especially as my boyfriend enjoyed the pulled pork sandwich, which was even cheaper.

Tried a new barbecue spot. Sides were very good and worth the small price. Sandwiches all had chunks of meat- my suggestion is thin slice. Barbecue sauce average. Black and tan pie from bakery next door great. Good service. I will try once more before giving final score.

Enjoyed the Meatloaf Monday. Tasty and nice portion. Love the selection of sides. I had potato salad. Husband had mashed potatoes (they weren't hot, tho). The veggies were the skimpiest part of the meal, unfortunately. The green beans and corn portions were small. I love veggies. Nice selection of beers which we enjoyed. I'm glad there's this place in Moscow.

Do yourself a favor and read the 12 out of 14 reviews that Yelp has filtered out. The Blues Brew BBQ homepage shows a rating of 4 stars, because only 2 reviews are used to calculate the rating...Don't be misled, a 4 star rating is wildly inaccurate!!!
