A unique sandwich place. You get to pick the ingredients and mark your choices on little paper bags. Probably fun for little kids. The best bread, and probably the highest quality ingredients of any sandwich shop in town. While the sandwiches take longer to prepare than say Jimmy Johns, the ingredients are of a much higher quality. For example, jimmy johns avocado comes as a premixed processed spread that they squeeze out of a factory packed plastic bag. The avocados at which wich are actual slices of a real avocado. You will taste the difference. They have desert here. Milkshakes and cookies which I haven't tried. Good luck sandwich eaters.

I ordered a medium Turkey sandwich. I asked for Mustard. Bad decision. When I got my sandwich the mustard was drenched and it made the bread soggy. I will never have them put mustard on my sandwich again. I feel like I paid $10 for a soggy sandwich. I might try it again but not sure yet.

Wasn't very pleased with the place. This was my 2nd time there, after not having a very good experience the first time either. Thought I'd give the place another shot. I ordered just a small turkey sandwich with chips- and paid $10 with tax- which is already way more than most sub places so I thought the sandwich would at least be better then the standard subway or blimpie. Instead, for some odd reason- my sandwich was super salty, as if my meat was covered in extra salt. And I didn't order any salt at all. Or any sauces that could be salty. This was not really appreciated because I was already back at work starving, and just had to swallow down a salt sandwich that I paid essentially $10 for. I definitely won't be returning.

Split a sandwich with Dad today. It was over $11 for one sandwich (must have been the medium size) and a drink. We ordered the shrimp po-boy with classic toppings (instead of Cajun, which would be too spicy for me). Here's what we found: - There are no napkins anywhere in the restaurant... not even in the bag with the sandwich. Be sure to grab a couple of paper towels before sitting down. - Took quite a while for our sandwich to be made. - The "house chips" are not typical chips. They have lemon and pepper! Our sandwich tasted good, but there were two things that disappointed us about it. The bread practically disintegrated as we were eating the sandwich. We needed forks to finish up. And our sandwich had fried shrimp on it, but we sure didn't see or hear any frying going on. They must have been fried elsewhere, frozen, and then reheated. (This lack of frying means the house chips weren't fried here either.) One more annoyance: The straws barely peek over the top of the large soda cup. For the money, there are MUCH better sandwiches that are made fresher and faster in town. We don't see ourselves trying this again.

Ok sandwiches, but crazy horrible service. There was like two people here and it took 25, yes, twenty five minutes to make our two sandwiches. Wondering how many people were working? 6. Yup. It's like the place is run by highschoolers with no discernible management. Get it together because these slickly overpriced sandwiches aren't worth waiting for.

Meh. There's better sandwiches for much less around here. You fill out what you want on your sandwich on a bag that you grab at the door. They give you red sharpies to mark it and take the bag from you to make the sandwich. All that and they still got mine wrong. It was right in front of them. C'mon. The guys there were very nice making sure we understood the menu. They seemed dumbfounded when I said my order was wrong. I was, too, as the bag was right in front of them when they made it. The meat in my Italian was tasty and a bit spicy (which is good) but the bread was VERY thick. It took quite a while to make the sandwiches, too. I had almost all of my chips and drink finished before we got them. On the plus side, they carry Zapps Voodoo chips. I probably won't come back here unless you're paying. Let me know if you want my punch card.

Solid sandwich joint. Tons of custom style sandwiches. The product seems to be fresh and clean. One of the best sandwich joints in town of you are looking for a quick bite. Recommended!

I must say i was impressed with how great the food turned out to be. I had heard great things but after reading a few of the yelp reviews my expectations were some what low. The service was great and my sandwich came out perfect and tasty. Was a little bit more pricy then your typical sandwich shop but overall i give it 4/5

Wow! All I can say is that, if you decide to order the 14" sandwich you had better be hungry! I ordered a 14" roast beef with virtually all the vegetables. It was absolutely amazing with the vegetables definitely fresh. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and professional. Subway has nothing on this place! If you want a great sandwich with fresh ingredients, this place is the place to go. It's not the cheapest sandwich option, but it is the BEST sandwich option!

I've been a huge fan of Which Wich ever since I first tried it out in Colorado - needless to say I was ecstatic when they showed up in the Village! These sandwiches are some of the best I've ever had. It certainly isn't cheap, but they don't skimp out on toppings. First things first, this isn't like walking into a Subway where you "follow" along with the sandwich down the production line. The first thing you'll do is find a large menu on your left, and underneath are corresponding brown paper bags and red sharpies. You'll grab the right bag and mark which sandwich you want, what size, what kind of bread (or lack thereof, salad, etc), toasted or cold, and which sauces and veggies you want. I recommend the Bachammon (bacon and ham) or the Italian grinder if you don't know where to start. They also have some unconventional sandwiches, such as turkey and cranberry sauce, if you want to go crazy. You can also choose if you want double meat, double cheese, etc. This paper bag method might be a turn off for some who are picky about their sandwiches, like you only want three tomatoes or extra pickles, etc, because you hand the bag to the cashier, they ring it up, you pay, sit down and wait for them to call your name. You don't see or follow the process of adding veggies behind the counter. Even I'm a somewhat picky guy who likes lots of peppers on my sandwiches, but they always put just the right amount on there. The HUGE advantage to the Which Wich system, however, is that you're not rushed or pressured by people standing behind you in line to hurry up and order, so you don't have to be or deal with "that guy" who holds up the entire line while choosing a sandwich. They also have unconventional sauces and veggies - some that I always add on every sandwich are pesto, spicy mayo, hot pepper mix, and different mustards. The sandwich is stuffed to the brim with ingredients... but as long as you keep it wrapped up and un-wrap it as you go along eating the sandwich, you'll never have a problem with a messy sandwich. The ingredients are balanced just right and every sandwich is super tasty. The bread is also really nice! I will say, it's the most expensive sub sandwich shop I've ever been to, but it's well worth the money if you have a superb palette and a big appetite. Go for the biggest size, double meat and double cheese, and you'll walk away with a sandwich that's about the size of a small child. These guys don't mess around. This other guy on here who is complaining about the *gasp* "tacky" wire and *gasp* "tacky" paper towels and *gasp* "tacky" to-go bags is straight crazy! Who cares?! It's a great ambiance and whoever gets hung up on silly things like that obviously isn't in the right mindset. The food is downright delicious and it's only been crowded once during lunch hour. The ambiance is great and the staff is friendly. Go enjoy a great sandwich - you won't be disappointed! I've recommended this place to at least a dozen people, and all have come back to me and thanked me for it - they are now big Which Wich fans, too! Go give this place a shot. You won't be disappointed.

It was ok. The sandwich selection is pretty good, it all tastes pretty good. The price seems a little high for a sandwich. Overall, it's fine but you have a lot of different options around that are on par or a little better.

Give this new business a shot. The owner has heart and is trying really really hard. We went in late July and our sandwiches were good. The menu is daunting, but I think that's a part of the chain's s shtick. His staff were a little green and unorganized, but it was near the grand opening. The house made chips are very good.

Delicious sandwiches and you can make any sub a salad or lettuce wrap. Clean and quick! Averages prices. Great meal for a quick lunch!

If you like hot sandwiches this place is probably great. I don't an was in impress with my sandwich. The cheese is low quality for the price you're paying. I had pepper jack and it was super processed. The experience of this place is fun however. You start by choosing the type of sandwich you want pick a bag any bag. They are each different depending on what meat you want. Them on the bag you pick all the toppings. Then move to chips and pay then wait. I have to say I am an extremely picky person so this place may be amazing for you. If you like hot sandwiches.

My wife and I went to Which Wich's for lunch. The 1st thing that Im not a fan of is the name. It sounds like they are just making a play on word. Asking which sandwich you want. But the name Which Wich just sounds a bit to close to asking Which Witch you are wanting. The next thing that I found interesting was the way that they take the orders. In a normal sub shop, you go up to the counter and place your order. Then the person behind the counter ask you what veggies and such you want. You can get as much or as little or none. In Which Wich, you choose a paper bag that is the sandwich that you want. Then you place checks on the bag beside the veggies and such that you want. Then you give that to the person at the register. After he or she total your order and you pay for it, then they put it on what looks like a clothes line. The sandwich is made, with no more input from you at all, and they call you to come get it. How my visit went. I had something called the Wicked Sandwich. Side not here is that the name of this sandwich is adding to my poor reaction to the name of the restaurant. The taste of it was actually very good. I asked for mustard. I can only assume that they must have put mustard on my sandwich with a spoon or spatula. It had way too much. My wife had a turkey sandwich. My wife also ordered mustard. But just like was the case with mine, her sandwich was slathered with mustard to the point that she did no enjoy it at all. My daughter had a turkey sandwich. When my daughter received it, it looked small, but not unreasonable. But then she began pealing back the layers of paper. I was astonished at how wasteful this place is with wrapping. After my daughter finished pealing back these layers, all of our jaws hit the floor with what was left. None of us could believe how incredibly small the sandwich was. It took my daughter 1 bite to finish it. She is 9 . There was barely any meat in it and very little bread. I could not believe that we wasted $4 on this. My sandwich was $10. My wife's was $9. My daughter's horrible excuse for a sandwich was $4. My daughter got a chocolate chip cookie, which tasted like it was made 3 or 4 day ago and had been nuked in the microwave in an attempt to make it taste fresh. The cookie was a $1.25. The drinks were a whopping $2.50 each. Add to that 3 bags of small chips at $1.25 each, and our lunch came to a grand total of $31.27 !!! We will not be back Score Card The good * Their process of taking orders should speed up sandwich creation for them. * The restaurant looks clean The bad * The clothesline where they put the bags/orders on looks tacky. * There are plastic bags that hang on the outside of the counter. These bags are for carry out orders. This looks tacky. * Instead of napkins, there is a roll of paper towels near the drink dispensers. This looks very tacky and cheap. The down right ugly * The selection station where you choose a bag corresponding to the sandwich you want and the number of choices on the bag is over whelming. Especially for a 1st time customer to this restaurant, its way too many choices. * The bags that customers choose is right near the front door. Customers have a lot of choices. So they will be spending a good bit of time here choosing which sandwich they want. Especially if they have not been here before. This creates a huge bottleneck at the front of the restaurant and often results in lines out the door. * This restaurant generates a ton of trash. There is the initial brown bag that you take and make your choices on. Then there is a foil like wrapper that they restaurant wraps your finished sandwich in. This foil wrapper is put in yet another paper wrapper. The result is 3 to 4 times more trash than other sub type shops. This makes this restaurant one of the least green restaurants around. * In other sub shops, you choose from 6 or 12". This is what customers are used to being able to select. Here the sizes of subs are small, medium and large. There is no comparison chart of any reference that we could find to tell us what a small, medium and large was. * Prices here at very high. This is one of, if not the, most expensive sub shops I have ever encountered. * In a normal sub shop, you stand at the counter and tell the sandwich maker how much you want of which veggie, or condiment. Here you have 1 chance to make your selection and that is at the start. You cannot tell them how much, or how little, of a veggie or condiment you want. We saw the guy making sandwiches blow into his glove. To do this, he put his mouth on the glove. This is a food contamination. Which Wich is new to Boise. In any new restaurant, Just like any other business, I expect there to be bugs. That is why I sent my review directly to the restaurant owner. I had hoped that he would apologize, give my family a free meal, or do something to compensate us for a bad experience, but he did not.

My wife and I went here for lunch. Unique approach to a sandwich shop and a good menu. Multiple vegetarian options which is a plus. I ordered a medium black bean sandwich on wheat and my wife ordered a tomato avocado on wheat. Mine came out as expected but my wife's came out on white bread instead of wheat. We mentioned the mistake to the counter kid that helped us but he really didn't acknowledge the mistake. Getting the bread order correct AT A SANDWICH SHOP should be a pretty big deal. My wife stuck with the white because we didn't want to wait for another one to be built. The whole process took about 3x the time to order and fulfill compared to Subway or Blimpie. Service was slow but the sandwiches were very good. Actually really good. Bottom line is check this place out. You'll be happy if your not in a real big hurry and ok with sub-par service. They do make a really tasty sandwich.

We have been here two times since the place opened. The first time they had only been open about a week so it is understandable if they were still trying to work the kinks out. It was really slow to get 3 sandwiches, probably 10-15 minutes and they had about 5-6 employees working. The sandwich was pretty good, but overloaded with condiments etc so as everything fell out the sandwich. The second time we went we thought they would have sped up the process. Wrong. This time there was probably about 8 people working and it was still very slow, around 10-15 minutes again. Second, the tables were filthy. Not one clean table and only about 2-3 people in there eating. I had to go up and ask if they could wipe some of the tables down. Then when the girl came to wipe our table she half-wiped it so it was still pretty dirty. With that many employees working this should not be a problem. Third, my husband ordered a sandwich wrapped in lettuce. The lettuce was rotten, all brown and gross!! He took one bite and didn't eat anymore. What kind of worker uses rotten lettuce?? It made us think that if they use rotten lettuce, what other of the ingredients are rotten? Also, once again, they overloaded with sauce and everything else on the sandwiches that I had to scrape some of it off and it just fell out of the sandwich all soggy. They definitely need to train their employees better on the art of making a good sandwich! Don't overload with sauce and everything else. Don't use rotten food!! We probably won't be back as husband now refuses to eat there.

Slow service and a very expensive sandwich. Too bad they couldn't even get my order right! After pointing out the mistake, the worker didn't offer any remedy. (I probably wouldn't have wanted to wait for a new sandwich even if he did.) Recommendation: Skip this place. It's not worth the money or time.

I will never go to the dump again. The cashier was a total idiot, couldn't make change even on the computer. And of course the sandwich was wrong. And they wouldn't hand it to me because you have to walk to the back to pick it up, even if you're the only one there. The place sucks from the beginning to the end.
