The family has waited a long time to have these guys move to town and they finally did. I like most of their stuff but a few favorites are their pastrami sandwiches and of course their turkey and avocado. YUM. Another fav is the broccoli and cheese soup. Good sandwiches and fairly quick to make and get out if you are on the go.

Tragedy. I was very happy with this Togo's location the first few days. The staff was (and still is) very friendly. Though, because of the increasingly irritating and upsetting behavior of the franchise owner/manager, I don't think I would want to go back to this location. The manager/franchise owner's behavior has gotten worse and worse since the opening weekend. She has not been nice to the guests (or the staff) since day one. She is unpleasant and very stingy about giving people stamps. The prices are terrible at this location, way too expensive for too little. The prices and overall quality (and quantity) of the food is much better in California. I decided not to go back to this location until recently, when I had received a coupon from Togo's for a free sandwich with purchase of a fountain drink. I decided to venture back once more, only because I had the coupon. I got my sandwich and- after a very rude, very close study of my coupon by the manager-was allowed to pay for the drink. I handed over my money along with my punch card, thinking nothing of it. I was at Togo's, I was buying something, why wouldn't they give me a punch on the card? The employee member was cheerful and happy to punch my card and let me be on my way, but the manager hovered over her and snatched my punch card out of the employee's hand and pushed it back at me. Saying repeatedly to the employee "We never stamp for free sandwiches" while not speaking a syllable to me. During previous visits I was told that the manager only wants the employees to give one stamp per customer per visit (not per sandwich, as it says ON THE CARD). I was purchasing something and was receiving a sandwich. Personally I would consider that a "visit" and feel I should have been allowed my one stamp. I do love the pastrami at Togo's but alas, the manager's terrible and somewhat threatening attitude has poisoned this location, destroying my desire to ever eat my beloved pastrami at this location ever again. I'll only be eating Togo's in California.

Like many posts I too grew up in CA. Togos was half a mile from my house and went there weekly. The sandwiches my wife and I got were okay, nothing to right home about. I would give the food three stars. But the owner, oh the owner, she was very rude and seemed hateful toward the customers. I don't know if she was having a bad day but we will not be back. Too bad.

Not as good as I remembered trying in California. They don't have all the sandwiches they have in California. I asked them why and they said they can't get the ingredients???? Not bad though, fresh and clean, nice people. Maybe it just doesn't live up to the high standards in my memory and it's all in my head. No complaints I will eat here again.

I grew up in California and love Togos! My family and I were so looking forward to it coming to Meridian and all I can say is yuck! It tastes nothing like I remember, bland and actually my husband, son and I felt sick after eating the pastrami. The girl making my sandwich ignored me and carried out a conversation with her co worker about her piercings. The manager seemed rude and mean and demanded the girl making my sandwich go put something on his desk, don't mind me I am just standing there waiting for my lunch. We won' t be back.

Good place. The #9 pastrami is good. Request the chipotle mayo and enjoy. . Cool people. 6-8 bucks for a sandwich then add combo.

Came in today , around 230 place was dead , service was okay.. I ordered "the Cuban" not many choice on bread , white or wheat. The sandwich was okay, not nearly enough meat for a $10 sandwich. Won't be coming in again. I would rather go to subway much bette bite for you buck.

San Jose born and raised, I used to teeth on the bread as a baby. I enjoy a Togo's every summer when I go to Ca. Now I can enjoy one every time I go into Meridian! Had my favorite #16 Italian, 1st time eating a Togo's in Idaho! It was amazing! Shout out to Samantha at the Meridian location, She made my sandwhich & gave me excellent customer service! *****!

YESSSSS! Finally Togo's is here. Everything is still delicious, they bread is so good. So much more meat and overall goodness that that s*bw*y place. You cant go wrong with #16 italian sub, then again turkey and avocado is the most popular. They also boast about their pastrami, but Ill be honest with you, not me favorite. Tends to be chewy and fatty. If youre vegetarian they have a hummus sub that is just crazy good. Omgosh i need one now. BTW, if you order online, you can usually score a free soda. Bummer they have pepsi not coke, but meh.

I should have turned around when I saw their prices but I decided to try it anyway. I got the turkey with avocado. It's not like Subway where they ask you what you want on your sandwich. Mine was turkey with brown avocado and cheese and nothing else. I made it through one bite and couldn't stomach a second. I asked for a refund and they asked what the problem was. I said the sandwich had no flavor. They said it was their "most popular sandwich" and "we don't need ignorant customers like you." They literally tossed my $15 back at me and told me not to come back. Togo's that won't be a problem. Trust me.

I saw that the place got so bad reviews but I had to try it out because I've also heard their sandwiches were amazing and worth it. I have eaten there 3 times now and the food has been fabulous. I have also been fortunate to served by a girl named Shaniqua. What wonderful and kind service you get. I tip her extra every time I go there. All of the staff has been great. My favorite though is not a sandwich. I like the Asian wrap and they have a great broccoli and cheese soup. Go and enjoy, ask for Shanigua (can't be her real name) and tip her well and get some of the best food a place like this can give.

I'm a sandwich guy. I constantly eat sandwiches. In fact, I had to put down a sandwich to write this review. So, I know a good sandwich when I taste it. I was excited to see a new sandwich shop opening up here. Although it's a chain, it never hurts to have around more tasty sandwich options. After tasting both my and my fellow sandwich adventurer's sandwich choices, all I can muster is, "Meh." And that's not even an enthusiastic "meh." It's a plain old "Meh, I wish I'd gone to that other place..." Also, you can judge a sandwich place by the bread. The bread here is spongy. A terrible sin within the halls of great sandwiches. Unless you like that sponginess sort of thing. Expensive. $20 for two small sandwiches and 1 drink. Oh and, I almost forgot: they have Pepsi products. That's like having a RC cola dispenser. I'm just pissed off now. Not impressed.

Gave the new shop another chance today. Bad all the way around. Brown avocado and terrible service makes paying $11 for a 6" chips and drink unbearable. Guess this place just isn't for me. If you hate money and good service, give this place a try!!

So, I was contact by Togo's regarding my review. They stated they were so sorry that I had bad service and hoped that we would return and give them a second chance! They said they were going to send me a gift card to use on my return trip!! I stated they could send it, but doubted that I would return!!! So, in the mail today I got a $ 5.00 gift card!! Haha! A whole $5.00's! I am pretty sure that $5.00 is far less than I spent for the worst service ever! So, if anyone wants the gift card, let me know and I will continue to tell people more than ever how terrible this company is!!!! What a slap in the face!!! P.S. Only reason for 1 star is I have to!!!!

I was here yesterday and had the turkey avocado on wheat bread. It has been a while since I ate at Togos, with only one distant location in Phoenix. Now I may have to make the drive. Great sandwich with plenty of filling and the bread is really good. I will be back the next time I am in Boise area.

Another of the many who have gone here for years in Citrus Heights, CA. The sandwiches are still sublime. This location is still reeling from the see-saw of people who pack it and then leave. (have you ever tried to staff for this type of fluctuation in volume?) So I'm giving them a pass on how long it takes to get a sandwich made, and the flow will balance out over time. The only complaint is that prices are on the high side which is what I believe killed Gandolfo's. The food is excellent and I will continue to go. The staff will improve. The prices, sadly, may not.

This place isn't cheap, and the staff is still figuring things out, but my pastrami was so good!

  • Gavin M.

I've eaten here several times. The pastrami here is definitely better than most sub shops. The employees do seem a little "deer in the headlights" sometimes, but I'm chalking that up to the new-ness. It's a solid option for when I'm in the area.

Better than Subway. Heard this place would knock my socks off so I had high expectations. Got the triple dip. $9.95 for a 6 inch. Decent quality meat, but somewhat bland which surprised me. Not a terribly creative menu. Might get lost in the shuffle of all the eateries on Eagle rd. I will probably be back, but not very much.

Love the Reuben. Friendly service and quality sandwich. Will be back again. I have been there twice and have been satisfied with the quality of my sandwiches.

Great service, great product, love this place. My sandwich was fresh and matched my expectations based on all I have heard.

I thought $10 for a sandwhich was a lot, was flabbergasted when the owner charged me extra for cheese! So $11 for 1 sandwhich, no drink or extras. And then the sandwhich was tasteless, it was a mouthful of bread. It was a very disappointing visit and will not go back.

This is exactly whats wrong with franchising a restaurant. Ive never been to the original restaurants but I would have to assume they had something positive going on. This franchise on the other hand does not. Walking in on a Thursday night over half the tables were dirty only one was sat at they were fully staffed and business was at a lull. The franchisees were on site looking to be in their mid to late 50's and looking as though they've never worked in a restaurant before... Im sure they're retired and thought, 'how hard could a restaurant be to own and operate?'.. Well, judging by the quality of the food and the shape the restaurant was in, they bit off more than they could chew... I will never go back and to be honest I passionately tell others to avoid at all cost. Whatever the place started with- it has lost. I gave it two stars instead of one because the high school kid behind the counter was obviously undertrained but tried hard none the less.

I am a California native and grew up on togos . Turkey Avocado has always been my fav . Until I had it in Idaho . What's with the tasteless bread . I don't remember the bread being completely tasteless . Also I found It odd that who I will assume were the owners were not up helping guests. I stood at the counter while the one kid out in front made a wrap for another employee and had a lovely convo while I stood there. The male assumed owner eventually said someone will be with you and then another girl came scurrying From the back . I understand , your running a business with a bunch of 16 yr olds at the helm . If I were you I would be hands on till they know the ropes . Customer service is key ! Especially with that terrible bread . There are plenty if sandwich places in Meridian. You better step up your game . Don't have a guest wait while you prepare food for a employee and when you Notice your employees drop the ball Get In there . Don't sit down and eat a sandwich :/ .....cuz that's what dude did and then the kid with the wrap joined him . While I was still waiting for my food .
