I am somewhat conflicted. The Curb is so close to my house that I could just about throw a baseball from my deck and hit the place and so I really really want to love this place. But I can't. The Curb is so convenient but so...average. Drink prices are fair but not great though their drink specials are pretty well priced. Their beer selection is okay but again, not outstanding and nothing you can't get at similar establishments. The food is your standard pub fare and nothing amazing. Last time I was there I had their Black and Blue Burger. It was good. I asked for fries with it and mysteriously it appeared with tater tots but no big deal, I am cool with tots. I went at lunchtime and my food came in a pretty timely manner. My service was also acceptable but not great. To summarize, if you live near the Curb it is a decent neighborhood watering hole with food and drink on par with similar places. That being said, I wouldn't travel great distances to come here. While handy for me, the Curb is an extremely average restaurant/bar.

Nice atmosphere w/patio. South Meridian needs more establishments like The Curb. Kinda like the last outpost on the way to Kuna. Pleasant staff and spacious environment. Good draft beer selection. The price point could be better, but all and all a very nice establishment.

The Curb is an average neighborhood pub with occasional live music and a decent patio compared to most other Meridian establishments. The food isn't spectacular but it is consistent. Prices are average but service tends to be slow and and non-nonchalant at best.. The beer selection is fine for my liking and they have a few skinny drinks which keeps my wife happy. The biggest draw for me is location in the SW section of Meridian. If The Curb wasn't in my corner of the world, I wouldn't go out of my way to patronize it.

Pretty decent neighborhood hangout. I had the fish tacos, and I'd highly recommend them. The beer selection isn't the best, but not bad either. They have live music many nights, and that definitely helps the atmosphere.

Pretty spendy for what you get, they did offer a couple vegetarian options which is nice...good drink specials but the bloody mary tasted like marinade with all the worcestershire sauce. Overall the food was so-so, the mixed drinks weren't all that great, and the favre jersey on the wall didn't help either (but didn't affect our rating).

This is a nice little bar and grill with standard bar fare and some interesting and notable drinks. I had a new item, the pastrami sandwich which was good, wife had mahi tacos which were very good. Their selection of mules was an added bonus, thought that was kind of different. Service was good, had a baby with us and they treated us no different, always a plus. Would stop again, for lunch at least.

The Curb recently catered and tended bar at our wedding, and the staff did such an incredible job! We had BBQ Chicken Kabobs, and Asian style Meatballs, with their famous Mac N Cheese (with bacon) and some garlic bread and caesar salad. Their bar staff also did a fantastic job. I would highly recommend The Curb to anyone in need of catering, wanting to host a private party, or just for a fun place to kick back and grub out!

The curb has a ton of potential. It has a great location and the layout and feel can Definitely set a great atmosphere. I do feel a bit out of place here when I go alone or with a friend. The food is also hit and miss. Several times I've noticed inconsistencies with the food and that makes trusting the location difficult. I want to know what to expect in my food profiles. I have found myself only visiting during football Sunday lunch hour. Seems to be my best fit for this location. With a bit more work in the kitchen you'd have a top 20 bar and grill.

Clam chowder is amazing! Great food and atmosphere. I'd highly recommend this place.

Veeeery slow during lunchtime, waited more than half an hour for the food. It's good for a beer or cocktail after work.

Mahi Mahi tacos are fantastic! $12 for large portions, grilled fish, chips and salsa, house slaw- DIVINE! By the way- beer selection? 20 beers on tap. Wine. Liquor. Shady patio. Great sports feel, but had a book study group meet here as well. Drop the kids at Roaring Springs and head across the street!

We came in for lunch today. They have a decent amount of beers on draft, but 6 dollars for a tall microbrew. Kind of pricey for a dive bar. I ordered the crispy fish tacos. They would have been good if the slaw/ Pico topping wasn't ICE cold. Pricey too for a dive bar.

Seriously! We come to Idaho so seldom and we can't go anywhere but the curb! The service is stellar. The prices are great and the food!!! Even the kids grilled cheese is out of this world! Thank you for creating a locals hang out relevant to all ages and creeds. If you are anywhere in the treasure valley, this I a must try! Bring the kids too!!!

Not our first visit, music was good, loud, but good. Service was slow, but we were not in a hurry. Hubby likes the beer options, food generally okay. Tonight I had the Halibut and Chips, not good at all! Could only eat one piece before getting a tummy ache and when we got home I got diarrhea! I'm never ordering that again!

Went into the Curb about a year ago and walked out after sitting at our table and no one came to our table. We said that would never go back. Fast forward to today, had a business lunch and they picked location. They said needed to be there early before it got busy. 1130am @ 5 tables were seated. Server took a little long to drop menus and asked what to drink. Ordered water and coffee. She came back with water and said she had to make a pot of coffee. Ordered lunch took about 20 minutes for a salad and burger. Still no coffee. One server on and the lunch crowd was walking in. Burger was good but once again will not go back because of slow service. The management needs to figure out how to staff properly.

The food here is great when you compare it to other sports bars on the meridian area on the south side of the freeway. (Rudy's, Harry's). The service has always been great yet sometime a bit slow. Like most sports sit in establishments big games, Sunday and Monday night football Its just to crowded. I would like it to be a little bit bigger. Yet overall great place to grab some food, drink a beer, and watch the game.

Went here for drinks and appetizers with the girls. We sat outside, great spot! Wasn't a fan of their drinks but the food was outstanding and it had a nice atmosphere

Hit the Curb for a post softball game beer with some teammates. Nice tap selection. This place is an echo chamber. Place was about half full and the gals a few tables down were laughing, screaming, whatever...and we couldn't hear ourselves yelling to each other across the table. Service was good though.

It seems that we find ourselves at the Curb on occasion simply because it is convenient and we always seem to get a table. We have finally decided that the convenient location doesn't make up for the inconsistent food. We realize that we are not at a location with 5 star dining expectations, but when you never know if your food is going to be cold, perfect or missing items, there is a problem. We have had all three on the last few visits. If they could get the food thing down pat, they would have it all.

I've been here twice so far...once for lunch and once for breakfast. So far, I would say I'm happy to have it around. Especially for breakfast since I live in Kuna and there's not a lot of options around here. The breakfast that we had was delicious too so that doesn't hurt! My husband had the biscuits w/gravy and eggs, etc. I had the dish that resembles a fancy huevos rancheros. We also tried the bloody mary's which were also sooo good. The staff is always nice and the atmosphere is nice and laid back. I'll be back.

I find it extremely "original" that every up-coming Bar & Grill pulls the "Our vision is that it's like a modern-day Cheers," card. Meridian is slowly accumulating it's local business gems, and with some creativity I think this new Bar & Grill will far surpass your average Applebee's or T.G.I.F. They go local where they can, using Idaho-raised meats and Simplot fries on their menu of pub fare and southwest specialties, such as ancho chile burger, honey chipotle burger, and taco salad. I'm a HUGE fan of the pull up wall/door that gives you open air atmosphere. The sweet potato fries and honey mustard are just one of their winning combinations. I'm very anxious for the full menu and bar to appear! Happy hour goes from 3 to 7 p.m. Mondays through Fridays with $1 off any beverage. The Curb is open 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays, 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. Fridays and Saturdays, and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sundays.

I really like the service staff, they are always attentive and friendly. The food selection is really fun, I find the visual layout of the menu hard to read but take your time and push through it 'cause there are some good items hidden in there. Drink specials and selection is good as well.

Went in on Friday evening hoping to miss the after-work crowd, still quite a few people but was able to get a seat outside and enjoy part of our drinks and food before the Idaho winds forced us in. Burgers are great, the wings are typical but I really liked the fry sauce with the horseradish in it. Drink was Margarita and they were not to good, no blender, Had two and still didn't have a buzz

We went on a Sunday. Not the best service, but we were not in a hurry. $ 3 mimosas were yummy. Food was okay. We might try again on a different day. Overall it ess okay, but not great ...and not bad.

Another Bar and Grill with some good pub food, cold drinks, attractive waitstaff and a nice patio. Probably won't go out of my way to come back but if I lived in the area it would be a nice place to have around.

If you havent been to this bar you must go give it a try. They have live music and good food and not only awesome service but the staff is gorgeous and the ladies that go to this bar are equally as gorgeous. Great people all around, good music, good food and great company. What else could you ask for. Try it out.
