Diabetics at Pizza Hut

Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:

You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.

Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

High Cholesterol at Pizza Hut

Whether large, medium or small, a pizza can boost your cholesterol levels instantly. You shouldn't eat more than one slice of any pizza your order at Pizza Hut. If you're concerned with your high cholesterol, then it is wise to take your friends to Pizza Hut and share pizza among them slice by slice. You can also try pasta at Pizza Hut but ensure that you are not adding any dressing or extra cheese as you order pasta.

The girl who answered the phone was very friendly and we had hot pizza in ablout 30 minutes...not to mention she went the extra mile i mentioned to her we had just moved into our place and were unloading boxes still and she said she would be sure to bring plates and napkins and then apologized that they didnt have cups...HOW SWEET!! Ive never had such awesome service from a pizza hut! Thanks guys!

Update: We've been doing a large family order every couple weeks for the last several months and service/food quality has gone down enough that I'm updating from 3 stars to 1 star - we won't be ordering pizza hut again :( The last 4 orders in a row, our order has been wrong to the point that one or two of us don't get to eat (PB&J looses it's appeal when you've been waiting 45 - 60 mins for pizza). i've called to get our order corrected or the messed up pizza credited each time but this last order started on a bad note - no credit for last pizza mistake annnnnd they messed up this order too. I promise, our wierd pizza that can never get made right is "large veggie lovers NO CHEESE," We've gone through a lot of variations on what part of the order can be wrong when we add this jinxed pizza to our order, and now we are so tired of the hassle that we'll be skipping Pizza Hut from now on. So sad, since ordering pizza is supposed to be a relaxing thing lol. This is a PIZZA HUT. Not some locally owned fancy pizza establishment. Pros: Your pizza should be similar to any other times you've ordered that pizza from any other pizza hut This particular location shines via it's DELIVERY SERVICE. Our delivery orders show up correct (working with some allergies) and hot. 90% of the time the person taking our delivery order is fantastic and helpful - THE KEY IS TO LISTEN FOR THE GREETING: if they say Pizza Hut on Cherry Lane in Meridan, you've got a person at the store that will be delivering to you (YAY!). If they answer with generic service specialist info, you've got the Pizza Hut corporate service that answers if no one can at the local stores - not a fan of the call center "help". Cons: They don't pay or train for amazing awesome super service so chances are you've got a student learning how to be a server as their part time job, rather than a seasoned professional. It's a chain restaurant that's pretty reliable, but not outstanding, our go-to pizza delivery when we need it! :)

I beg of you not to even enter this establishment (I use that word very loosely) We had a big problem with this location about a month before the latest experience. It took literally an hour to get a take out order. The owner demanded that if I wanted the "sale" price that I needed to be seated and do an internet order. I tried doing this and their internet service wasn't working. The place was hot and people were just RUDE! I had to ask several times for different things they "forgot". So why in the WORLD would I choose to go there again? Honestly, no clue. My bad. But we just went there on 6/29/2015 and the waitress at first said their dining room was "closed" even though it was not closing time for the restaurant. When the manager decided to LET us eat there, the waitress spilled water all over my children and didn't even apologize. She used curse words loud enough for my kids to hear. We never got a refill of drinks, silverwear, menu's...our breadsticks didn't come out until AFTER we talked to the shift leader about the bad experience we were having. The waitress plopped piping hot food down (and I mean plopped..almost THREW it at my children!) in front of my toddlers hands and he burnt his hand! He screamed in pain and the waitress snickered. Seriously...this experience was more than rotten! Please never visit this place. This was more than bad customer service. It was negligent.

This Pizza Hut is the worst. They mess up my order every time. If I decide to dine in, it takes forever for anyone to come to seat you, or take your order. I've never had this problem with a Pizza Hut before. When you do complain, they try to pin it all on you. The manager has asked us not to come back.

I have received better service when they deliver. The food was good, but it took a long to get our order in and our drinks served. It took an even longer a while to our food out to us.

Fast Food pizza is a very hit and miss proposition. it is a bit like going gambling. You roll the dice and hope and pray that you will get a good one. Sometimes you get just the right cook, that is in just the right mood, and you get a pretty good pizza. Other times, you get a cook that could care less about their job and is only their for the money. These cooks usually prepare pizzas that are just plain awful! Truth is that you can get bad food, or a bad pizza, from anywhere. It happens. Every restaurant can have an off day. But in the Pizza world, it seems that Pizza Hut is worse than most. You are more likely to get a bad pizza at this place. I have ordered hundreds of pizzas in my time, not only from Pizza Hut, but other companies as well. This pizza I just had ranked with the top 10 worst i have ever had. In fact, it might have even been #1. #1 in the category of the worlds worst pizza is not a distinction that you want. But its what Pizza Hut got today The reason why I decided to write this review for Pizza Hut today, when I have had their pizza hundreds of times before, is that in all the times I have had their pizza, I have had bad ones way more times than I have had good ones. The only reason we ate it is because we were very hungry. The pizza was not even good enough to given to the dog. That is how bad it was. Im pretty sure that if I had given it to the dog, that the dog would have gobbled it up, but then a little while later, either puked it back up and died. The paper under the pizza as nothing but grease. ( on a side note, this paper that they put the pizza on is more like wax paper. If they purpose of this paper under the pizza is to absorb grease, why would they use wax paper which absorbs nothing? I did not order pepperoni for that very reason. Often pepperoni is not cooked very well, so the pizza is very greasy. So for that reason, I did not order pepperoni. But wouldnt you know it. The pizza was just as, if not more greasy that any pepperoni pizza that I have ever had. There was so much grease that the delivery person must have tipped up the box a bit. When they did, the entire pizza slid together so that all the pieces lumped together like a greasy mountain of pizza slices. The grease was so bad, that later that night, my wife puked. The only reason I did not puke is because I eat lots of hot stuff, so I have what they call a cast iron stomach. My stomach hurts, but I will live. I am not so sure about my poor wife. If I had the ability, and the means, I would sue. Thats how bad this pizza was. Restaurants should be held accountable for service food this bad and putting folks in pain. I am pretty sure that we are done with Pizza Hut!

From forgotten sauce to the wrong sauce TWICE in the same night... These guys just cannot get it right. Check your orders twice and do not choose delivery.

Mark, a "customer service expert" as they answer the phone, will be the primary reason we never ever order from this location again. Absolutely unprofessional and rude.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
