Just in town visiting family for the holiday and we swung on by Blaze... Kind of a Chipotle operation they got going on here. Good Idea! The girl at the cash register who took our orders was super-duper excited to give my wife and I the run down on the deal here i.e. build your own, get a signature pie, or get a signature pie and customize it the way you want it... still the same price for added toppings... just $7.25. Great Deal! When we got our orders, which wasn't too long, the crust was nice and thin and crispy and the flavors were spot on. I got the Link In and my wife the White Pie. My sister got the Artist and my nephew, a Simple Pie (cheese only). I only wish I had added more because although I was content upon our exit I felt I could've eaten more. I'm a fan.

Was excited to try this place but left totally disappointed. We didn't even take home our leftovers. The pizza is like a cracker with canned tomato sauce on it. No flavor whatsoever. To be blunt, it was disgusting, hard to even swallow. We will never go back here. Great concept, TERRIBLE pizza.

Friendly and fast service. The pizzas cook in less than five minutes. So, if you're in a hurry, this is the place, so as long as there isn't a line to place an order. They do their best though. They have good options for ordering... pick one if theirs, modify it, if you so choose, or, build your own. The crust isn't so heavy that you feel like you're eating a loaf of bread. I brought half of my pizza home and reheated it in the oven and the texture was still as good as if it were fresh from their oven. Good value for the price.

I posted another photo last night and realized that I hadn't written a review yet. Dad, hubby and I love the pizza here. That's the most important thing about a pizza place, no? And at $7.25 apiece, we can each order a pizza exactly how we like it, eat half and take the rest home for another meal. The $7.25 price, by the way, includes as many toppings as you like. It's Subway-style, so you can see the various toppings behind the glass partition. So far, all of the toppings I have tried tasted great and were fresh. I like that they include things like fresh mozzarella (ovalini), fresh basil, and other fun stuff like caramelized onions and roasted garlic. Don't forget the saucy drizzles like Balsamic vinegar or pesto! The crust is very thin, but that's how they can get it to cook in only 3 minutes. They don't serve beer, but they have a very nice selection of sodas and other drinks. They have taps of lemonade and blood orange lemonade, too. The atmosphere is purposefully loud. There are hardwood tables and hardwood chairs... so I take it that they want us to chow down and move right along. That's fine with me. Take-out boxes are pre-assembled and ready to grab at the beverage station. There's a nicely-sized patio area for when weather permits, but it sits right up against busy Eagle Road. Throughout my many visits, I have found the staff to be friendly and the restaurant to be clean.

Loved this place. So much variety, food is fast, delicious, and fresh! I was a first timer, and they explained everything very well. Restaurant was clean, and employees were helpful and friendly. We will definitely be back! Very delicious food, and excellent service! If I had one complaint, it would be that the crushed garlic on my pizza was all in one location, which made for a pretty distasteful bite, so they could maybe do a better job at spreading toppings evenly. But again, that is a VERY MINOR complaint and I truly LOVED this place, we will definitely be back!!

To say it plainly, Blaze has one of the best tasting pizzas and best prices you'll find in Meridian. As the village shopping area grows and new business pop up I'm always excited to try new things. Blaze has a completely fun and unique take on pizza building. Is very similar to Chipotle or Subway. You can choose your own toppings and unlike chipotle you aren't charged more for asking for more stuff. You can load up three or four cheeses and all the meats. It's completely up to you. Having a fixed price for this was the best part. Even at most pizza parlors they will charge for each additional topping. At 7.25 it's a steal. The best part though is that flavor wise it blows away most pizza joints. I'm not usually a thin crust eater, but this one is amazing. I eat every bite. It's similar to Casanova, another thin crust fire oven pizza parlor, but I like blaze more. I hope you get a chance to try this new joint.

Tortured ear drums and aversion to sardine can seating trump tickled tastebuds which means it is unlikely I'll be back to Blaze. The good news at this Meridian outpost of the chain is the thin crust, quick fired (cooks in 180 seconds) pizza is far better than my hubby and I expected it to be. More good news is the young staff, all of whom seem relatively new to retail food service, are friendly and eager. Both of those good news things keep this rating from sinking to two stars because in a simple measure of different strokes for different folks, we both said "you must be kidding" about what we think is pretty awful space planning and the gawdawful loud, that is LOUD, music on the sound system. It is one thing to get a good buy on decent pizza but it is another thing to enjoy eating it in the restaurant's surroundings. At Blaze I get the first thing and not the second thing. Still, they gave us "buy one get one" coupons for future visits. Never one to set aside any free offer ("free is best" he says), my hubby may venture back on his own for a BOGO take out pair. But he'll do that without me and keeping in mind my Yelp friend Mick L's good counsel that Blaze pizza is best when eaten at the point of creation. CATTLE CHUTE MEET SARDINE CAN Space planning here made me stop right at the door and wonder, "What's up with this". Tightly spaced tables straight ahead, sardines might have more room in some cans than you can at some of the tables, you are obliquely and intuitively directed by that "barricade" to the left to a cattle chute arrangement that will take you up to the counter to place your order. ORDER PROCESS Although they have little menus right at the start of the chute, some do not know to take them or perhaps have time to review them so there can be a bit of a wait while the delightful staff folks behind the counter explain the schtick then take the order and assemble the pizza before greeting the next in line to explain the schitck then.... SCHTICK The schtick is that one can order an 11" (?), personal size pizza (note we found it amply fed two lighter eaters so another good news thing here) with a choice or red sauce, spicy red sauce or white sauce and an unlimited number of toppings of one's choosing for only $7.25. Plain cheese pizza and pizza with one topping are both under six bucks, but otherwise one may order from a handful of house specials or create one's own pizza with literally as much of anytthing as one wants and pay the flat $7.25 fee. Which means a good amount of hmming and yahooing from folks in line as they have the toppings piled on. THE DRILL After you've walked down the cafeteria style line (think Subway or Chipotle) to have your pizza made and after you pay for it, you are instructed to stay near as they will call your name 180 seconds after they put it in the oven. You take your own pizza to your table and you bus your own when finished eating. PIZZA We are less is more types in terms of pizza toppings, different strokes, and selected a house speciality called Red Vine (a Margherite of sorts) which is red sauce, fresh ovalini mozzarella and fresh basil added before oven and out of oven is topped with quartered cherry tomatoes. We asked for and received a sprinkling of fresh arugula as finishing too. The thin pizza crust was good and so were the toppings. The time in oven was just right to get it cooked just so. Too bad the vibe was so uncomfortable. VIBE Hard surfaces mean noise to start with and with ear splitting music cranked up high, well...you know the outcome. Add in being cheek to jowl with the people dining next too you and well...my friend says she is too old and too rich for that kind of discomfort. I am just too old. I'd rather pay the eleven bucks or so for a good Margherite pizza elsewhere that feeds three and comes with table service and relaxing ambiance. Yes. I know this makes me a crumudgeon. So it is. THIS N THAT: 1) PARKING: In the lot right outside which is shared by Noodle and Company and a couple of other businesses. 2) ACCESSIBILITY: Level in and throughout but tight tables may make path of travel tough for a wheelchair user or someone pushing a stroller. That said, a man using a wheelchair was able to maneuver on the day of my visit. Mostly standard height seating at tables. 3) SALADS TOO: Prepackaged salads are between the end point of ordering pizza and the cash register for check out. There were three options as I recall, Caesar, Arugula with beets and goat cheese and one other. The arugula salad contained fresh ingredients but the house vinaigrette tucked in a little pastic containter was too oily and the too small for the contents container in which the salad is presented made it nearly impossible to eat it without it spilling all over the table. Serveware is plastic. 4) CLEAN UP: Hats off ot the staff who were working diligently to wipe up messy tables and keep things tidy in the turnover.

What will they think of next? A pizza made like a subway sandwich. I was not sure I would like this new concept. Well I will tell you it is very cool and I am a big fan! It's fun and the pizza is very tasty! It's very simple, any sauce, any cheese, any vegetables, and ALL the meat I want! $7.25! And the pizza is thin crust and takes just a few minutes. Everyone gets their our pizza just the way YOU like it. The staff all were happy to explain and made the experience kind of fun. This will be a fun place to take a group of people or a bunch of kids! This is definitely not your traditional pizza place! And I'm ok with that. Down side.. No beer! And no TVs.. Oh well. I will still be going back this weekend with the kids!

I'm going to start off by saying I freakin love this place. I'm not going to sit here and tell you its the best pizza in town, but it is really good and its cool to stand there while they make it with all the toppings you choose. A decent size pizza with unlimited toppings for 7.25,that's a crazy good deal. There must be at least 30 different items to choose from. I love that you can add fresh arugula at the end. They also have some sauces you can have drizzled on top at the end. I recommend the pesto. Did I mention it only takes 3 minutes to cook, that's just bonkers. The food and how creative it is deserve a five. I had to drop it to a four only because, the music is to loud, the seating is uncomfortable and it can be a tight spot when they get crowded. Trust me they get busy, people love blaze pizza. My only regret is that it took so long to try them. I fully recommend Blaze pizza. This place is da bomb diggity!!!

This is already a favorite place for us because it's quick, delicious, reasonably priced, and pretty close to where we live. We have been 3 times since we found out about it a few weeks ago. I do wish they had a wedge salad on their menu, it would be perfect then! The pizza dough is really good and the unlimited toppings are AWESOME!!! One time I felt like I was at the soup kitchen on Seinfeld and the person helping us at the beginning of the line was kind of impatient, but the other times the staff was friendly.

Fast, inexpensive, and delicious pizza. I doubted that a pizza made that fast could taste that good, but I was wrong! One of my new favorite lunch spots.

We didn't have to wait long at all for our pizza....they mean it when they say it is fast fired pizza!! It was pretty good pizza (sauce tasted fresh, perfect amount of cheese) but we didn't love the crust. If you plan on having a salad, they are pre-made in a cooler which was disappointing.

Awesome pizza in 180 seconds!!! Your choice of toppings or predetermined from the workers themselves: either way, one of the best pizzas I ever tasted! Seating was good and the turnaround time was quick. Wish you folks had one in Hawaii!!

We have been to Blaze Pizza twice. Both times we had good experiences. The first time was a family dinner. The second time was just me and my boys ordering food to-go. Both times, the staff has been friendly and helpful; offering suggestions and being very good with my oldest son, who likes to order his own food. The pizza was good and it doesn't take long at all to cook. During busy times, the seating can be cramped; though that seems par for the course at most places, nowadays. We will go back. I think this place is worth trying.

$7.25 for a personal pizza with all the toppings you want. It is a little bigger than your typical personal pizza so the price seems about right. The crust is average-ish as are the toppings. The sauce is...sauce. Overall, you get an average tasting pizza that's ready in about 3 minutes from the time they toss it in the (gas)oven and it's delivered by a very friendly staff.

Food is good, hospitality sucks. After eating with some old friends they asked to see some of the latest magic I had been working on. As I was starting my second one the general manager came over and said I would have to wrap it up. He said corporate doesn't allow that kind of thing. I didn't even bother to ask what that meant, we all just got up and left. They didn't make me feel welcome, so i won't be back.

Pizza has become in a sorts, traditional, its classic, easy and very filling. What it has not been, is fast and for those of us willing to invest 20-30 minutes of our day waiting for it to come to us, not a quick lunch. The blaze veers away from traditional and makes pizza more fast food friendly while maintaining pizzas traditional roots. 180 seconds! I was skeptical at first, something must be sacrificed to make it this fast, but it's an awesome tasting pizza. Is it Casanova's? No! But it's a hands down winner over commercial pizza places, with a price that's pocketbook friendly! I will admit the build your own section is a bit confusing with all the choices and be warned, if you're OCD watching them create it, will be nerve racking but well worth it. The blood orange lemonade completes the meal and 17$ for two, might be worth a shot for date night. I'm a fan!

Hip fun atmosphere, yummy pizza at a reasonable price - you can get exactly what you want on a pizza and not have to share. Great drink selection also - Coke Zero to Blood Orange Lemonade. This will be the first place in town where you can make a salad to order as well.

We went there in the winter when it's snowing and freezing cold and it was so cold in Blaze Pizza that we ended up deciding to take our pizza home. I got up to get a box and they threw my pizza out. When I came back, the person was washing the table. They also burn pizzas quite often and ours was a bit black looking anyway. We tried to tell someone but management didn't care. We won't be back to Blaze and just go to Grimaldi's instead. Maybe they'll have heat and won't burn our pizza or throw it away before we can take it home.

Very impressed with this place! Awesome, friendly staff. Pizza came out in minutes. Very decently priced, especially for all the options available. All of their ingredients look extremely fresh. The blood orange lemonade was great too. Most definitely will be back!

Great food, great atmosphere. Pizza in about 5 minutes it was awesome. If you want a sit down restaurant atmosphere and a long wait for your food this is not the place for you. If you want a fabulous pizza for a great price and don't mind an open atmosphere then definitely try them out!

Super busy but still went through line very quickly. Create your own or pick a predesigned pizza for one price. White sauce or varied tomato types. Several cheeses (included whole mozzarella, shaved mozz, goat cheese etc) chicken, bacon, pepperoni & more! TONS of veggies (grilled onions, sun dried tomatoes, cherry tomatoes, fresh basil, cubed grilled zucchini (so didn't make pizza too soggy), artichoke hearts, sea salt (yum), oregano plus all the regular stuff!). We'd been to similar (in Arizona) build your own pizza & the only suggestion is to offer olive oil (in place of sauce) one with garlic too! They will "finish" your pizza off with pesto & bbq sauce (pesto delish-not too strong), olive oil or arugula but they didn't ask so kinda need to know this! We enjoyed the blood orange lemonade. So the BEST thing was the service! A napkin fell between the tables, it was maybe a minute & young fellow was there picking it up & asking if we needed anything else (including napkins!) He came by several times & checked in! This was by far the best service we'd seen for awhile anywhere! We will be back. .several times I'm sure!

The pizza is not bad, It might be new in idaho but if you has lived in California it's every where. I honestly had better pizza in local restaurants. Plus it's really expensive.

Having just moved back to Boise from Los Angeles, I was very excited to see some of my favorite businesses breaking ground in our great little city. One of them being Blaze. Disclaimer: this is not a sports bar or pub or a high end Italian restaurant. It is a bold your own go-to lunch spot. That being said, it is an excellent and innovative establishment for its kind. Natural, fresh ingredients and a wide selection of toppings and sauces. You can also order online for pick up which is really convenient. The staff was very knowledgeable, eager to help, and didn't seem overwhelmed which is great for a newly opened business. They even go around to tables and offer services after you've been through the line which is unusual for this type of business. Very clean and inviting atmosphere. If you are not the type for Lloyd music, be warned, they do play it loud.

The grade is based on ambiance, not the quality of food. I was hoping to sit down and have some PIzza but was very disappointed that this establishment had zero TV's so I left. What kind of pizza restaurant don't have TV's showing sports? Another disappointment, no bar. The way it's currently set up, this place appears to be more of a to go joint, rather than a restaurant although there are plenty of tables. I was hoping it would be similar to Grimaldi's, also located at the village.

We had no exception other than getting pizza. We were a little hesitate in the beginning but convinced after the first bite. The only drawback is the noise levels can get loud. We will be back.

oH SO yummy. Can't go wrong with any of the signature pizza's! Always add roasted garlic whoLe not chopped ! And the owners ---they're AWESOME.
