eh. Now I know why my peeps in Portland always say nah. Its a flippin' Subway without the 5 loaves of GMO chemically laced bread. LOUD music... a bit dirty. 1 girl with brown hair puts on new gloves (for the register, plastic island peeps, c'mon!) and says hi. She has a nice smile. I forgive her. Other girl chatting with a guy at the toppings station as he chomps his pita. *insert daydream about being in HS and my first job* Stomach growls. Awake again. I told her I hadn't been there before. She smiled. I waited. Nothing. Ok. I should have just asked what she gets, since she didn't really offer anything to this newbie, but I knew I just wanted greens bc Im trying to cut out some white food in my diet right now. No it's not racial. I got the hummus salad. It was $9! wow, greens arnt even organic. OK. I assumed a big 'old salad was coming my way. I saw the same girl who rung me up toss her gloves and then grab a new pair and I assumed was going to make my salad since McDreamy was talking to other gal, and I almost panicked b I didn't want her to NOT wash her hands. Lol. No. She helped the next customer in line. So she IS going to make it. OK. The boy scattered away, i didnt see her wash or change her gloves.Oy. I saw her holding the container (I got mine to go) and asked me what kind of lettuce I wanted but asked me so fast I srsly had to ask her to repeat herself 3 times. *flashback a week ago to my mom in olive garden* Omgosh. I'm getting old Anyways, I was floored when she got to the veggies and the box was half empty. I asked the blonde chick, to add more lettuce bc I just couldn't leave with a container of greens and veggies half full. A few extra leaves went in. I was getting less excited. I was bummed when I got home and saw it. I was more bummed the more wilted romaine I pulled out. ugh. I was super ultra mega bummed when I saw the hummus was LITERALLY on ONE spinach leaf :/ My Chubby ass shoulda stayed home and made a juice. So. Conclusion. Did I eat every bite of it. Yup. Was it awful. Nope. Could I had made this at home? YES Was there anything special about flavors, cs, presentation, cost that would make me come back? Not at this time. damnit. ****** I came back to edit this review and give it a extra star bc as far as "fast food' healthy eating goes its kinda scarce around these parts.

Good healthy alternative. I am on Weight Watchers and this is one of my favorite places to eat. Great staff, always a cheerful greeting when customers come in. Lots of fresh vegetables to choose from.

If I'm craving fast food, this is the where I go. Everything is fresh and tasty from the vegetarian pita to the chicken pita. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was spotless, even the bathroom. If you're looking for a healthy alternative, that won't clog your arteries, this is the place for you

We're definitely fans of Pita Pit, though we've had several problems with our ordering delivery from them. Most recently, I had called, ordered two kids' Turkey pitas, a Chicken style pita in a salad form, and another pita as well. We got two full-size turkey pitas, the chicken pita in salad form, and the last pita wasn't even included at all. Fortunately, the one that wasn't included was for my husband, and he wasn't home at the time, and so didn't miss the pita, but I was frustrated that I had ordered it, and it wasn't there. Their drivers seem nice, the employees seem nice... just not on the ball. :(
