This was the first time I have been to this restaurant. My boyfriend and I wanted to have a nice dinner before going to see the Indian Creek Winter Festival lights. We Yelped different options and came across this place. The restaurant was ok in decor. Not really what you would expect for the prices. The service was pretty awful. The servers didn't really know what they were doing or serving for that matter. The one saving grace was the steak. It was seasoned and cooked perfectly. All in all the steak was great, but the service was less than stellar. Probably won't be back.

Our first time here. We made reservations. They were not needed. Tanner, our waitress was attentive. We both ordered the Rancher. Tough and so full of fat that it was not enjoyable. For the price that we were charged, we will go to Texas Roadhouse.

Passed through Caldwell today on our way home from a long Motorhome road trip. Looked at some Yelp reviews and picked this place looking for a final Steak House for our trip. What a great choice. Best steak on our trip which included Palm Desert, Pismo Valley, Napa, Mesquite, you name it. Met the owner and had a great conversation. Service was great. The Chef here knows how to season and cook a steak to the temperature you request. And, if you don't want fat on your rib steak, don't come here. Tonto Bob F from Moses Lake.

This is an excellent steakhouse!! The food is fresh and the service is exemplary!! I was there on Friday and the prime rib was out of this world.

Good vibe and all but first thing out of the chute was the nasty tasting water. Buy a filter????? Had to order ice tea just to cover the taste. I ordered a prime philly sandwich that was very good. It came with a meager serving of barely warm fries. The service is real friendly and the joint has a good vibe and so on but you better have an hour for lunch. A little on the slow side. If this place was located anywhere but Caldwell it wouldn't last 6 months.

Nice friendly family place. The menu is simple but the steaks were cooked perfectly!! The staff is friendly & the place is VERY clean!!! I have a hard time finding a steakhouse in Idaho that will bring me a rare steak, they ALWAYS over cook it. Not here!! I am happy to say all of our meals were cooked to perfection!! My only complaint is I would love a basket of that fry bread!!! We will be back for sure! Plus as a bonus they will give you a free drink if it's your birthday!!

We had our 50 year class reunion at the Indian Creek Steakhouse and it was excellent. The banquet room is small but was perfect for our group. They didn't charge extra for the room and we were able to arrange it and decorate to our choosing. The food was exceptional with generous portions. We had a choice of fresh salmon or 12 oz steak. Couldn't have been more pleased.

Not sure we would try this place again, steaks were just okay and not juicy at all, very old school, bland sides and definitely not a fan of iceberg salad mix as the dinner salad!

The wait staff was very friendly. The drinks were strong. However when it came to the food...meh. It wasn't bad, but I feel the quality just wasn't there for the price you pay. I had a 12oz sirloin and I'm sorry to say the steak was what I would expect from Applebee's. Potato was fine. Beans were good, but served in a tiny dish that restaurants typically serve ketchup in. Salad was boring. The atmosphere does not match the price point. Very ragtag and western like. Cheap tables and chairs. If I am going to pay high end steak house prices, I don't want to feel like I'm sitting in a small town diner. The price point is that of Chandler's or Ruth's Chris. I really like supporting local businesses, but unfortunately I don't think I can go back at that price. Sorry Indian Creek! You guys are doing a lot right aside from the price point, quality and atmosphere.

This is our favorite steakhouse ANYwhere. Go to Caldwell and try it out! Someone told me they always order the salmon, but I've yet to get past the rib eye. This is where we take out of town visitors. It's not open every night, so check their schedule. Nice people, excellent food. Full bar. Can't wait to go back!

After coming back to my review I feel that maybe my words were a little harsh, though I believe my rating is spot on, so I've decided to edit and keep it short and simple. I feel that the Indian Creek Steakhouse is over priced for the food you get, that their beer selection is extremely limited, and that the table settings and environment seems "rag tag" for the prices that they ask.

Four of us decided to try Indian Creek on a Saturday night in late November. The food was excellent, but the service quite lacking, The restaurant was completely full although we were seated right away. Most of the seating is up a flight of stairs with a couple of tables at street level, we assume for those who don't want to climb stairs since one was empty and we weren't offered seating there. The first thing we noted were how close together the tables were. We had to move ours a little to allow everyone to get into their chairs. The second thing we noticed was the high noise level. The western decor was nice, but the hard walls reflected sound and made conversation difficult. Our third impression was that the restaurant was seriously understaffed for a full house. We waited twenty minutes to get menus, fifteen more to put in our orders. It appeared there were two waitresses and another person doing some filling in. There were no bus-persons, and no servers for this crowd of around fifty people. The food, when it finally arrived nearly an hour after we were seated, was excellent. There were no complaints at all. The steaks were done perfectly and the finger steaks were the best we had ever tried. The salads were typical with dressings that were top notch. Everything was perfectly prepared and appeared to be made of excellent quality ingredients. The meal was over and the table cleared, then we waited another thirty minutes for a check so we could get out of the deafening noise. The restaurant is only open for dinner Thursday through Saturday. Maybe Thursday would be a better time to try it. We loved the food, but the poor service and high noise level will keep us from returning.
