High Cholesterol at Whataburger

Calorie intake is the main concern for people with high cholesterol while dining at a fast-food restaurant like Whataburger. Well, you can always try the Lighter & Smaller options from the menu to cut down your fat intake. Opting for grilled sandwich or burgers are preferred compared to double meat or triple meat cheesy burgers which contain high cholesterol.

Foods to Avoid at Whataburger for High Cholesterol

Cut down on your meat intake to control your high cholesterol. You must skip Double Meat Whataburger and Triple Meat Whataburger at all costs. Whatacatch Dinner may sound tempting but the famous fish sandwich is also full of calories and unhealthy fat. Lastly, avoid French Fries and Onion Rings at Whataburger if you are already ordering a burger or any other heavy meal.

Not very good. Hamburger patty was a processed patty that looked like it was bought in bulk from a cash and carry store. They charge enough to make their own patties, so they should do that. If you are looking for a good burger, this is not the place. The place was clean and the staff was nice.

By far the BEST lemonade ever!! Food is so good there too!!! Love all the variety of flavor lemonades they have! Philly was so flavorful!!

Honestly, I don't see the appeal of this place to garner such high reviews from others. I would not go back here at all. The lemonade tasted like powdered lemon drink that they make "famous" by adding more sugar in the form of flavored Torani syrup. I figured that if they were going to advertise the lemonade to such extremes, it would be fresh, but if it is, then they ruined fresh lemonade. The burgers were sub-par standard fast food, and not good enough to draw you away from big chains like Jack in the Box or Wendy's, but it is better than Burger King or McDonald's. The one thing I do not understand is why they would give you a side of sweet sauce, that is frosting, for your burger. That was really gross! The salads didn't fair much better. The only way you can really ruin a salad is by having bad dressing, and they did. Really sad. If you are looking for non-bug chain burgers, Caldwell/Nampa area has much better ones that have been around since the fifties. Doing bother here. (Two stars because the facility was clean.)

I was very interested to try this place after reading reviews from my fellow yelpers. The atmosphere struck me as nice and quaint. Friendly staff. I ordered the "Belly Buster". I was impressed by the presentation of the meal. It looked appetizing and I wanted to dig right in. So, I started digging in and became increasingly disappointed by what I was tasting. The flavor mash-up was fantastic, but the quality of the ground beef used was like I was eating pre-frozen patties that I can pick up from the freezer section of any ole grocery store. So disappointing. Honestly, if I wanted a hamburger like this, I would have eaten at McDonalds. I found myself wishing that I was eating the same hamburger but with patties from Wendy's. Just a pet peeve and likely just a "me" thing, but it kinda annoys me to see a "tip" field on my receipt if all you're doing is taking my order (Pub Style) and walking it to my table when it's ready. Again, personal preference. The biggest positive; they had Diet Dr Pepper! EVERYONE should have Diet Dr Pepper! Right?! Not a complete loss... I think I may try something other than their burgers the next time I come in.

Eh, nothing too special. I'm originally from Caldwell and I saw a lot of people recommending this place. I went here one afternoon with my girlfriend during a visit back home and it was awful to be completely honest. The people aren't outgoing or friendly and the floors were disgustingly dirty. Covered in old food and unkept. The food is a lot like fast food...I thought it was a restaurant, much to my surprise it was far from it.

I have to admit, I have tried to avoid this place based on the name. Burnt lemons? Yuck! Saturday night, after a tough day of working in the yard, my wife and I wanted burgers, so instead of driving cross town to Carl's, or settling for Hamburger Connection of Gem In and Out for soggy burgers, I gave in to Burnt Lemon Grill. I have to say it is a good alternative to the other options in the area. I did a take out order and service was pretty fast (about 10 minutes). I got a Mushroom Jack burger with onion rings and my wife got a Western Bacon burger with fries. The food is food service stuff. Standard fare, but I got a lot of rings with my burger and they were large and crispy. Burger was good and was open face in the box (which I liked as I could take pickles off and throw some ketchup on there. My wife liked her burger but the fries were soggy (from the five minute trip home). I asked the gal at the counter if they burn lemons. She said they do for their lemonade. I didn't try any, but I'm curious. She says they put their lemons in the char broiler for a few minutes then hand squeeze them. I was hoping that the burgers went through the char broiler, but it didn't taste like it. I will make it a regular spot for take out. Better than the others in town and I would rather support a local business than a chain any day!

My mom told me about this place & I was really glad she did! Our first time was great. My mom, sister in law & myself went for lunch.. The young woman at the counter seen us looking at their wide variety & helped us out by giving us their updated menu. (Which was lovely since the writing was small) After we decided, she helped us by putting the appetizer fries (ID nachos, redneck rings & cheesy tots) with our meals rather than as a appetizer which would have racked up the buck! We were certainly happy about that! We didn't wait long for our food & it was well worth the price! I got the Asian salad wrap (not the official name!) & ID nachos. I was full with half a wrap left & a bunch of tots left over for my lil one! I will definitely be returning for more delicious food

This place is next door to the gym and coffee shop, so I popped in with the Old Man and the place was PACKED! No worries, we saw some space at the counter and were greeted by Sadie at the counter, who expertly guided us through the numerous selections of salads, wraps and burgers. The Old Man opted for a Mushroom Cheese Burger (he can't remember the name, just what fell in his stomach) with onions rings and I grabbed the Chicken BBQ wrap with Jalapenos and Sweet potato fries on the side. Even for how busy the place was, our order was quickly delivered to our stools. The onion rings were STEAMING HOT, nice and crispy. My Sweet potato fries were a little cool, but crisp with a lot of flavor. I will definitely coming back for the SP Fries! I dove into my fries so hard I neglected my wrap until I was quite full, but took a few bites of the generously sized tortilla filled with grilled chicken, cheese onions rings, BBQ sauce and Jalapenos, wrapped and grilled. It tasted a lot like a Carl's Jr. Western Cheeseburger (onion rings and BBQ sauce) and the Jalapenos had a nice heat. There was PLENTY of leftovers for a dinner and dog snack. The Old Man's burger was tasty, but the cheese wasn't melted and there was no mustard or mayonnaise to be found- anywhere. Plenty of ketchup and fry sauce, but NO MUSTARD??? The ambience had a lot of hard surfaces and looked new, almost unfinished. The type of new that they eventually would like to cover the walls with memorabilia (there's a smattering of signs haphazardly placed on the walls) but a lot of empty voids look like something may be coming soon. I was a little curious why they left the pretty drop pendant lights off at the counter, opting solely for fluorescent grid fixtures commonly found in leased strip mall spaces. The drop pendant lighting would make the food look better than the washed out office lighting and add a little more pizazz and warmth to the joint. With a little more polish to restaurant decor, and mustard, I'd easily kick it up to 4 stars.

Our go-to place when we need a meal on the run or when I don't feel like cooking. Pretty much your standard burger and sandwich fare, but it's better than fast food and beats the heck out of Sunrise. Fries are excellent. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Prices are very fair. Kids meals are generous portions and include a drink and toy. The food has been consistent whether we dine in or take out. Restaurant is always clean and seems to be organized. We eat here often and will continue to keep coming back!

Went here for the first time with my friend and her kids. The kids Loved the chalk wall and the lemonade flavors! Delicious food and they didn't even mess up my order even though they were very busy! Love it.
