Came here for happy hour and am definitely a fan. Their Sizzle, Swizzle, and Swirl happy hour menu is small but varied enough to accommodate most tastes. They offer a couple of vodka drinks (cosmo, pomm martini), a gin drink, and a manhattan for the whiskey lovers among us. I ordered their normally $11 Manhattan, which was very large (came served in a large martini glass), very smooth, and very strong (what's not to love?), and at happy hour is only $8 (and is a serious deal given the size). I also enjoyed the seared ahi tuna, which had a delicate flavor kicked up a notch with a nice (though light, not overly strong) mustard sauce. It is also a mere $8 on the happy hour menu. The service was friendly and accommodating. We arrived at 4:30 and pretty much had our pick of spots in the bar area--by 6pm, it was packed, so if you're wanting to enjoy a happy hour in the bar, I would definitely get there on the earlier side of that happiest of hours (beginning at 4:30 here). I haven't been here for a full blown meal--but given the happy hour deliciousness, that must change--soon! Until then? As far as the bar/happy hour offerings--definitely a fan! Get to it!

This was a nice Ruth's Chris with really good service and steaks that we expected. We really enjoyed their summer selections, specifically the scallop appetizer. Steaks were cooked perfectly and always on that ridiculously hot plate. Ambience in the restaurant was nice, tables somewhat close but still distant enough to have conversation. Our server, Jason, was fantastic. He answered all of our questions and spaced out his stop bys very well. Drink and wine menu is notable, they make a good Manhattan and offered solid suggestions on wine. This is a good spot, nice to see it succeeding in Boise so far. Would definitely return based on service alone.

Excellent. Met expectations. Great filet done just right. Best Caesar salad in a long time. Will visit again.

Even though it's pretty expensive, it is pretty dang good! I came here for dinner for prom with a group of 10. They sat us in a private room (because someone else ended up canceling) and we got A+ service. Our waiter was funny and took great care of us. The Harvest salad was the best salad I have ever had and the filet mignon basically melts in your mouth. They even gave us 3 trays of mashed potatoes for free (which were amazingly buttery by the way.) It was a great dinner and I can't wait to come back, probably for Happy Hour!

I'll give this place 4 stars because the service was excellent. The food was good. I heard a lot of hype about it and went in with high expectations... It was a one-time deal for us. Online reservation was great and they called to confirm the reservation.

I took my wife here on a Friday evening. I made reservations online the day before. I received an e mail confirmation almost immediately and a courtesy call the day of my reservation to confirm. When we arrived we were greeted and seated right away. The atmosphere was very relaxed and the service was great. It has a feeling of elegance without feeling stuffy. The food was excellent! We had the Calamari and Crab cakes as an appetizer and both had Ribeyes cooked medium rare. The steak was cooked to perfection although i thought just a touch too much salt. Our glasses were never empty as we received constant attention from our server. The seating arrangements were also very comfortable. They do a good job of maximizing their space without making you feel like people are eating on top of you. Overall we both had a great experience and look forward to doing it again.

Great service. Ashley really took care of us. The bought out my filet medium rare and I asked for medium, the immediately took it back and corrected the problem. The manager JD came over to make sure everything else was ok and assure us the problem would be fixed. He offered us some sautéed mushrooms on the house, but I'm not a mushroom person so I passed. When my steak came back correct, he offered to comp our upgraded dessert and still send us home with the dessert that came with the dinner. We will be back to this location for another try.

This was our second time coming here and I have to say it was as excellent as the first! To start off the service is excellent probably the best I have ever experienced in Boise! We walked in without any reservations and we were promptly greeted and seated immediately! The last time we ordered way too much food and although we tried to scale back it was still too much. My husband and I shared the Cowboy Ribeye which for an additional charge we had made Oscar Style with lobster. So in addition to the steak being served in the seasoned butter it had a Lobster tail and the house Bernaise sauce. It was to die for, the cut of beef was superb, everything was perfectly cooked and seasoned. We also had the Crab Cakes as an appetizer which are seriously some of the best Crab Cakes I have ever had! As a side we had the Macaroni and Cheese which was excellent. The portions are gigantic and meant to be shared for sure! Honestly I'm extremely picky particularly when you spend a fortune but I have no qualms about dining here and looking forward to the next trip!

Had dinner Tuesday the 14th and may have gotten a touch of food poisoning. I was the only one of us who had the Caesar salad with anchovies. Other than that, it was good. Stay away from the anchovies... That could be my last visit.

I've been to Ruth's Chris's all over the west coast so I was pretty sure what to expect at the new Boise location and after my 3 visits I was at a stand still on comparable service and food quality. Surprisingly it was a lot more dull, no music, service was lacking and the food took surprisingly long. We ordered the crab app, filet's all the way around and a few desserts. The filet's were soaked in butter and I mean soaked. It was like biting into a stick of warm butter. The best thing about the meal was the amazing cheesecake. Best I've had in a very long time and that's why I didn't give it a 1 star. If you want a good steakhouse in Boise, I would definitely steer over to Chandler's instead.

Being a bit sceptical after a mediocre steak at Ruth Chris in Salt Lake City, i decided to give it a try. Man, am I am happy, fantastic steak, excellent service.. Will definately be back if in Boise again. Highly recommend the 11oz filet. Magnificent!

We tried Ruth's Chris for the first time this past weekend. The restaurant is very nice, the food was very good and our waiter, Ricky, was fantastic! That said, our tab for three people was $300 and that is just too spendy for our budget. We ordered the "special" which included the main course, side and dessert. It was all very nice, but by the time we had a couple of drinks and a tip it was $100 a person. I'm glad we went. I don't think we will be regulars. I'm sure there are enough higher end diners in Boise to support this restaurant.

Best steak ever!! Ruth's Chris is by far my favorite restaurant- have to been to several other locations and the Boise one is no different- great service, great food!! It can get a bit pricey (but the food is soo worth it) but they have an excellent Prime Time Dinner special for about $55 a person that includes a salad, steak, individual side and a dessert! The menu states that the Prime Time Dinner is only available until 6:30 but our reservation was at 6:45 and we were still able to order it- so I am not sure how strict they hold to the only until 6:30.

Since I wasn't the one paying, I'd have to say I thoroughly enjoyed my evening at Ruth's Chris. No one at my table complained about their meal. We all got different sides and shared. The broccoli au gratin were my favorite side. The bartender was pouring some perfectly proportioned drinks. I'd have to say some of the best cocktails I've had in a long time. My only issue was the staff. While yes, I get it, its an expensive restaurant experience. I felt like one too many people said hello on the way in and same on the exit. It felt super phoney that way. I mean have the guy at the front do that. Not every single staff member needs to. But our waiter was a good guy. He paid attention well with water refills and so on. I'd definitely return. I feel that its a once a year type of place though.

I could not have enjoyed my dining experience any more than I did. What a great place. It was my first time at a Ruth's Chris and all my expectations were surpassed. The staff was wonderful - as we were celebrating a successful work day and it was like they were all there to celebrate with us! There was even confetti on our table! How fun. Shout out to our waitress Melissa, she made the experience over the top. So personable and she fit right in with our group. I drank the American Mule and it was delicious with a bit of candied ginger. Let me remember all the things we ordered: Table side shucked crab- yum! Apple, Walnut salad- really good, and a perfect size to split between two people. Lobster Mac & Cheese - the best I have EVER had & I order it all the time. Asparagus with bolognese Sauce -- really yummy! Potatoes Au gratin - I only had a small bite - but they were great! The BBQ shrimp with mashed potatoes was amazing, I also split this order & it was a good amount. A little bit spicy and well sauced. We also ordered a Bread Pudding to split for 4 people and we couldn't finish it but it was AMAZING. I can't wait to come back here for special events. Such a great experience and such great service. Thank you for making our special day even more special.

This was the fourth time trying out Ruths. Three times before were bordering on horrible. Over cooked steak twice, once I sent it back (which I hate to do) and they brought it back raw; just wanted medium rare. Another time they spilled a bottle of my own wine in my lap, a 1995 Caymus SS I'd been saving for a special occasion. Insult to injury?? They replaced it with a bottle that was 1/10 cost of mine. Not good experiences and I'd sworn off them. Marginal service. Marginal steaks. Arrogant staff. Not fun. But....I received a gift card from a friend for Ruths. I thought about giving it away but my wife wanted to give it another try. I ordered the 8 oz filet at the server's recommendation. Gotta say this was fantastic! Cooked and seasoned to perfection, great service, friendly. Very nice. I'm still gun shy but I'll go again and give it a shot after that. Would have been a 5 star but that requires consistency. Stick with the filet and you'll be good. Oh and try out the honey Brussels. Those are awesome.

I had dinner four or five times at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse since my original review and in good conscience I'm compelled to update my review to four stars. They have worked through the new restaurant problems and into a well operated steakhouse. The food is consistently good as you would expect from this brand and the service has been top notch.

Chain. Very happy to have a solid steakhouse in Boise. Have had great steak dinners here. Have also stopped in at 11 PM for soup and salad, and received great food and service. Management and staff seem to take The approach to food and service very seriously. Nice addition to Boise downtown.

I came here tonight to celebrate getting engaged to my amazing girlfriend. I made reservations early in the week and they asked me if I was celebrating anything special. I told them it depended on whether or not my girlfriend said yes, :) and she did. They called me earlier today and confirmed the reservation and all went well. We were both seated promptly. Although our reservation was at 9:30pm, I thought more people would be there. In the section we sat in, there were only 4 tables/booths being used out of maybe 20 tables? I ordered for my girlfriend and the waiter was kind enough to encourage us to try the herb roasted mushrooms verses the ordinary sautéed mushrooms. Good call. I felt the mushrooms were the best thing there. I ordered the Ribeye and I ordered my girlfriend the New York steak. We also ordered the Wedge Salad which was awesome, if you like bleu cheese, bacon and walnuts. We split that and for sides we ordered the mac and cheese and mushrooms as stated above. I have been to Ruth Chris many times in San Diego before and I didn't get the same experience in Boise as I remember in San Diego. This may only be my point of view but one of the ways I consider some restaurants to be worthy of $150 dollar meals is the professional level of balanced service. Good waiters know how to take care of you and not over impose. They know when to talk and when to just come by and fill drinks and realize you are in a conversation. I have to say I was disappointed that my ice tea and water were empty 80% throughout my dinner. My waiter at one point did ask if I wanted another ice tea and I did say no but that should mean you better make sure the water stays full. Their glasses were maybe 10 ounce glasses and they were literally one drink glasses. I do admit I do drink more then most people but that is how I view great service. The funny thing was waiters were standing around looking at the 4 tables and I didn't feel it was appropriate to raise my hand like I was in 3rd grade. My waiter was taking care of my table and another table out of the 4 tables. The other waiters were focused on their one table and would walk by my empty glass of water and it just seemed like "I am taking care of my table" and thats all that matters. I literally left my dinner thirsty. Not good. Steaks: I thought my Ribeye was flavorful and I know most Ribeyes have a little more gristle but I would say 30% of my 16 oz steak was fat. My girlfriend had the New York and she said it was just average. Mushrooms: Amazing. Mac & Cheese I wouldn't order it. It wasn't that good. Wish I would have gotten some type of potato. Temperature: So hot in there. I went there on a day where we were in the 80's and the restaurant was hot. I was sweating and I could have drank a gallon of water. It was perfect for my lady so I didn't complain but even the waiter was complaining of the heat. Once my fiancé (first time saying that) and I were done, we wanted to leave. As our glasses were both empty, my waiter continued talking to a table for at least 10 minutes (which feels like an hour when you are full, thirsty, hot and tired) and I so wanted him to come over to pack up the food and give me my check. He filled my water one more time (3/4's full) as I quickly chugged it. Overall, I have been torn whether to give 2 or 3 stars. If I am paying a good amount for dinner, I have to be a little more critical. All in all, food was ok and service was not that great. Also if you are asking me if I am celebrating a special event, why ask if you aren't going to do anything? Maybe my experience was isolated and hopefully there are many good servers that work there. My waiter was really nice but wished he would have come around more.

As a chain restaurant, Ruth Chris has really made a splash in Boise. The service has always been extremely good. The food quality and presentation is consistent. The only negative I can see here is the amount of butter used with the steaks. Some people may really enjoy this though.

I guess I have to disclose that I was a professional chef at Michelin star restaurants for a number of years, so maybe my expectations are higher. Having said that, I'll start with the good. Good: Service was great. Mostly professional and there seemed to be some experienced servers. Some of the other staff, bussers and water fillers, didn't have quite the etiquette that they should in an establishment that charges this much. Nevertheless, my water never got less than half full (I drink a lot of water), and everything was available, quick and efficient. Good job front of house. The vibe of the place was also very nice, if not boring though. With some louder music, maybe faster, this place could be really energetic and fun. I understand that the clientele might prefer a quiet atmosphere though. Bad: My girlfriend and I got the "Prime Time Special". Three courses, $55 dollars. I had the ribeye mid rare, she had the filet rare. The filet was acceptable, but not worth the time listening to the fact that they use prime meat and cook it at "One thousand and eight hundred degrees". The ribeye tasted like it was boiled. I'm pretty sure some parts were infected with listeria as well, but I didn't get sick so I'm going to omit that part. I can't believe they get away with charging that much for what I'm sure is pre packaged prime meat from sysco. Why not get actual Kobe from Japan? I'd at least feel a little better paying what they charge. It's insulting. The southwest macaroni and cheese was essentially kraft deluxe with some green pepper in it. The garlic mashed potatoes had no inkling of garlic and they were dry with a nice pool of butter on top. The sauteed mushrooms weren't sauteed at all. They were standard button mushrooms, MAYBE crimini that were boiled in butter. I don't see this place lasting with all the great close by restaurants and the new ones popping up where the kitchens actually have some talent. Verdict: I won't be going back. I consider their food a high end family restaurant at best, cloaked in an upscale casual restaurant's decor. Only worth the money if you use this place to impress people by how much you've spent.

If you in the mood for a great streak cooked correctly, You can't go wrong here. Our group ordered 3 different steaks....... all perfect! We ordered 2 sides. I don't recommend the green beans. Slightly overcooked and under seasoned for me. The garlic mashed potatoes were very tasty. Highly recommended. Enjoy

It was Valentine's day and my fiancee and I went out on our date to Ruth's Chris Steakhouse, who were on their first big service night after a soft opening. That being said, the staff seemed as nervous as a girl on a first date, completely fawning over every detail. Like most first dates, I think they just needed to relax and be themselves, they have a lot going for them, and Boise may fall in love. Boise, on the whole, has no lack of great steakhouses. Whether it's the old school Lock Stock and Barrel, which now never seems as good as it was back in the day, or the Kansas City influenced Goodwood, which never fails to impress. In short, a town with great steaks, giving it some stiff competition. Ruth's Chris comes out of New Orleans, a great food city, and brings a lot of that influence with it in the preparation. High quality beef, well aged, with a direct presentation absent a lot of artifice you see at a lot of higher end restaurants. We started with cocktails and the Osso Bucco Ravlioi, followed by their classic dinner, with the Filet and the Ribeye, The steaks were high quality and fired exactly to order, which is hard given my fiancee is especially fussy about how her steak is fired. The classic dinner rounds out with desert, and we followed with espresso. The ravioli were succulent and tender, cooked just al dente. The steaks were excellent and practically melted, if they were any more tender you could have cut them with a butter knife. They are cooked in some sort of crazy high-temperature broiler, but high-tech cooking gizmos aside, it seems to create a perfect carmelization of the beef so it's got that perfect crisp on the outside and warm and inviting in the center. Their cocktails are high-end with great ingredients as well and a mixologist who seems to know his liquor, something I'm incredibly fussy about. The decor is what you would expect in a higher end restaurant, white linen table cloths, a nice airy but not stuffy decor, a good place for a date night or eating with friends or work colleagues. The wait staff is all sharply dressed and attentive, and if I have to say anything negative, they were perhaps too attentive, and you could tell they were nervous on a night like this. That being said, I think they'll figure it out. At the very least, you will be well taken care of by the small battalion of people working the front of the house. Overall, Ruth's Chris brings another style of steak house to Boise, which is great because it's always good to have new options in a place like Boise and its growing food culture. It may be part of a big chain, but its going to fit right in here. I have a feeling when the blush wears off, they'll begin a beautiful, long relationship with Boise, and Boise will love them back. Maybe they just need to get a little more comfortable with us first.

Guarantees Chandlers will be number one in my heart and pocketbook. Price: If you enjoy paying quadruple the price for a fraction of the quality then grab a seat...might I interest you in the opportunity to help a Nigerian King who needs your help funding the search for his princess? Had the filet: Meh - "Where's the flavor?" Friendliness of Staff: Creepily high...was asked how I was doing at least ten times before making it to my seat, five more to the bathroom and three more from baño to chair...seriously, one and done should be it. Was asked if we wanted refills on drink...hadn't even received entrée yet, hadn't even finished bread and butter...just fill er'up. The decor: Nothing to write home about. All in all, it solidifies Chandlers a spot as #1 in my book until I hear an experience otherwise.

We have only gone in for their Happy Hour deals which are absolutely fantastic. Great food for a great bargain. We arrived a few minutes after the happy hour began and were encouraged to sit right away since they said they filled up quite quickly. There was a bit of a crowd for the hour we were there but nowhere near full capacity (not a complaint of course, just an observation). The reason I'm giving the rating of 3 stars is not because of the quality of food or the deals for happy hour but rather because of the service we received. The busser was very attentive and filled our waters promptly and cleared dishes as needed. Our server was a different story. He approached the table without a greeting or introduction and simply asked what we wanted to drink. Me being pregnant and my other half not in the mood for a cocktail, he just walked away when we replied that we were happy with just water tonight. We were ready to order at the time but he didn't give us a chance. After returning several minutes later and taking our order we didn't see him again (at our table) until he dropped off the check. I understand that happy hour is a more casual setting in any restaurant but there are certain standards of service that I believe should be met at any restaurant but especially at a higher end steak house. Since our food was delicious and we didn't need any additional sauces, etc it wasn't a real issue that we didn't see him but his lack of attention was noticeable to say the least since he passed by the table several times and he was in no way busy enough to justify not even checking in. Perhaps he had an off day and the quality food and deals will bring us back in so here's hoping for better service next time!

I am not a fan of chain restaurants, but this experience was excellent. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable about the menu and the wine offerings, and our waiter, Nick Sawyer, was very attentive. The food was perfectly prepared and presented. We had a ribeye, and a fillet, both Oscar style. The brussels sprouts with bacon and honey butter were incredible.

Tried them when I was there, Ruth's Chris brings another style of steak house to Boise, which is great because it's always good to have new options in Boise and its growing food culture, when I go back ti visit there is always something new popping up, They are a little too expensive i feel for that area.

Maybe a little more mediocre than the average Ruth's Chris. This was a work deal, so my rating has nothing to do with Value or the price of the meal. This is strictly on quality. The best thing I had was the Grey Goose and Tonic(s). Whatever the Red that we were suggested had a RIDICULOUS amount of sediment in it and the cork was bone dry. We split some calamari which was not as good as what you would get at a place like Yardhouse. I also split a Wedge salad which was good. My cowboy cut ribeye was so forgettable and the sides of sauteed mushrooms and the other one so forgettable that I literally can't recall it. We couldn't let mediocre go, so we had to have a banana cream pie. Perhaps that would have been better if I wasn't already over the whole scene, or lack there of...the place was DEAD. Anyway, I will go back if someone invites me but I wouldn't spend my money on anything like that. Looking for a nice steak and happening atmosphere? Try Chandlers Fine Steaks and Fresh Seafood...your welcome!

I was really excited when I heard this place was coming to Boise. I will give it props for being part of the building that covered the nasty empty lot that was there for years... When it comes to my actual experience however I really didn't care for it. The staff all seemed like they were the gods gift to the world. What happened to just being friendly instead of acting like you are better than your patrons? It could very well be that they are so new that people are just proud and that's not always a bad thing. In this case our service came across as just brash. Food was ok, but if I am going to spend that much I want to be wow'd Sadly I wasn't. I will wait six months and see if the staff will come back down to earth.

Went last night to enjoy a cocktail and walked out happy. The drinks we ordered were made well and most of the service was good. Defiantly a few kinks to work out with the service staff (lack of energy, mixing the wrong drink, etc) but that's to be expected with a new restaurant. The owner was quite charming and very accommodating, we are happy RC is in town.

My family and I were very excited about going to Ruth's Chris in Boise! My wife Julie and I probably went once a month to one of the two in San Diego area for years. We arrived at RC on Tuesday 2/11/14 at 5PM (one day after their opening). We were seated in a booth in the lounge area, the only area that seemed to be open at the time. Other areas of the restaurant seemed to be closed off. Not sure if the goal was to make the restaurant seem more occupied from the street than it was, but we felt a bit shoe-horned. The booth tables are smallish and crowded, even for 2 average sized adults and two non-obese kids. The size of the table wouldn't normally be an issue, but when you order the steaks, they arrive on 500 degree plates and come with a warning. This leaves very little room for safe arm movement without asbestos gloves. Drink: My wife ordered the house cab, which she really liked! My drink order for their $12 Broad Street Hurricane was rejected with an "I'm sorry, we don't have the Monin Yellow Passion Fruit syrup." I really wanted this signature Hurricane. Can you blame me? I wanted to revisit the memories of the fun times we've had in Nawlins along with the indiscretions of Bourbon Street. Plus, I know Ruth's story about starting down in the Bayou. This was going to be our way of celebrating our new restaurant! I alternatively ordered the New Fashioned, which was tart and average - wasn't sure what to do with the dried orange garnish. Food: filets terrific, perfection, at least mine was. Our girls don't like sauce on their steak, or any green stuff (they're young), so my wife asked for sauce on the side. Their filet arrived bathed in sizzling sauce. The server appologized realizing the lapse in communication with the chef. The Maitre Di without missing a beat offered complimentary sauce-free beef medalions for the girls, a very classy move. We had the lobster bisque, which was nice and creamy. We also had garlic mashed potatoes (good) and au gratin potatoes (better). The dinner was completed with two desserts combined! All of our forks effectively mixed chocolate sin cake and fresh seasonal berries with sweet cream, awesome tasting. The meal was proof God wants us to be happy. ;) In summary: I will chock up our first Ruth's Chris Boise experience as a new restaurant with the usual growing pains, but not from their lack of effort. Our server was just as excited to serve us as we were to be pampered. I would like a larger table option. Even the free standing (non-booth tables) seemed smallish. I suggest they expand the lounge area, and move the dining patrons to the more exclusive "closed off" areas in the back dining rooms. And, finally, all drinks featured on the Vintage Inspired Cocktail list should be available without excuse. We will most likely return as regulars between RC and Chandlers. Thanks! DN

Great restaurant. No more pricey than any other fine dining restaurant. Servers friendly and more casual. Not stuffy. Food very good. Normally go to chandlers but today's visit may be a deal breaker. Thanks Ruth's Chris

We've been to several Ruth's Chris Steakhouses in other cities. For the most part, the quality of the food and service has been consistently good. We were delighted when we found out that this restaurant would be located in the new 8th Street building in downtown Boise. We've been here three times now, but our experience this week was extraordinary! We joined some friends who were celebrating their wedding anniversary, and when we made the reservation we made the staff aware. To our delight we were not only greeted by the manager, Don Leader, but were told that the anniversary celebrants had arrived and were already seated. The table was strewn with red rose petals and it didn't end there! We were all treated to appetizers, complimentary of the house and additional sides! We had calamari, lobster, and ravioli as starters---all excellent. Two of the guests ordered halibut as the main course, and pronounced it to be delicious. My husband and I split the NY Steak which was cooked perfectly---somewhere between medium rare and medium, just right and very tender and flavorful. Another guest ordered the petite filet and was happy with her choice. We all ordered a couple sides of broiled tomatoes---perfect with steak, some braised spinach, squash, and then another complimentary side of a sweet potato casserole with a crusted pecan and brown sugar topping. The meal ended with two desserts---berries with a light cream sauce and their famous banana cream pie, topped with caramelized bananas. As usual the service was impeccable, gracious, polite and efficient. This place is definitely a keeper and a wonderful addition to the beautiful downtown!

Fabulous dining experience! We are veteran RC diners & we could not be more pleased! The shrimp cocktail was spectacular, the salads were fresh, the steaks were tender & cooked perfectly per specification and the service was impeccable (ask for Bob). The decor is modern, but elegant. Welcome to Boise RC!

Very, very expensive. We went last night and were struck by how expensive the items on the menu were, especially for Boise, Idaho. The steaks start out at over $40 and go up from there. If you want anything else with the steak, such as a few veggies or salad, plan on spending another $8 or more. For the 2 of us, we ordered 2 steaks, 2 sides of veggies, 1 dessert and a bottle of their cheapest chardonnay wine.... our bill came out to over $150! Before the tip. The service was great but the ambience felt like a hotel restaurant and was not at all intimate or unique. Many of the customers wore jeans and sweatshirts or tshirts so that even cheapened the experience more. It sure did not feel like a fine dining atmosphere that the prices would reflect. The food was great, especially the steaks but all-in-all, we would not rush to go back as we prefer several other fine restaurants around Boise to Ruth's Chris.

We'll definitely not the best experience I have ever had at a restaurant. To start off the customer service when you walk in and are seated is pretty darn good and impressive. Ordered a glass of wine and a salad and was sort of slow getting it but that's ok. Was done and waiting to order dinner and it took to long but still not bad cause I had a glass of wine. Looking at the menu I was a little surprised at the price $45 for just the steak entree. Ok but it will be the best steak in my life. Wine is gone and dinner took a long time to come. When it came I knew why. I ordered a glass of wine to go with dinner. Steak sat getting cold when we had to flag down manager for the wine to go with the steak. At least 8 minutes went by. Very annoying and steak was getting cold. Now for the steak. The worst steak I have ever had in my life. Seriously. Worse then Denny's. I ordered it medium well. Now this is no lie. The steak was completely burnt, chared, black, way beyond even well done. It was charred. $45 for a burnt steak. Now I no why I waited so long. $170 for the whole experience. They compted the glass of wine to wash down the burnt steak but the place was terrible. Texas Roadhouse blows that place away. Do not go there. $170 for two for below average steak, ok customer service and just a big disappointment.

You have never tasted a better steak than from this place. The atmosphere is phenomenal and the help is great. All the food is ordered a la carte, so if you're not prepared to spend some big money, save this place for a special occasion. For you and a special one, appetizers, soup or salad, main course, desert, and of course drink.... plan at spending about $200 at least.
