Found my new go to Chinese! Used to go to Red, which was good, but I think this is better. Coconut Chicken was superb. Rangoons are just cream cheese but still pretty tasty and the potstickers were delicious too. The egg drop soup is the best I've found since coming to Waterloo from Manchester.(for any one from that area, you know who I'm comparing to)

I have been here twice (once for lunch and once for dinner) and both times it was really empty in here. BUT, the service is great and the food is super good too. My husband and I couldn't decide whose dish was better. Also, I ordered a Sierra Mist (fountain) and for whatever reason it had a weird taste to me. When I asked our server for a water, she put two and two together and asked if I didn't like the soda. I said no, so she apologized and took it away. A few minutes later the manager/owner came over to apologize and then asked if I would like a can of Sprite instead. I'm usually not very comfortable complaining about things but they were all so sweet about it. I definitely recommend this place, even if they are tucked back behind the Sherwin Williams paint store and they have some really crappy signs pointing to their building ;)

To start, most places orange chicken is too sweet. Well, this orange chicken was the PERFECT orange chicken! It had some spice to it and the portion sizes were great. My other half had a spicy chicken and he said he really liked it. We were both full after out meal. The hot and sour soup was very good as well! The service was also very wonderful. If one waitress was doing something the other would lend her a hand and bring us our check. I thought it was very nice to see. I can't wait to go to lunch here again!

Great service. Clean restaurant. Awesome food that is nice and moist and you can tell didn't come out of a can. My only complaint is they put corn in the egg drop soup...baffling.

Excellent food and fast delivery. Have also dined in a few times and have yet to be disappointed. Try the curry chicken if you haven't had it yet! Can't think of anything I have tried here that I didn't like. I suppose the crab rangoons aren't the best I have ever had, but they are still very good.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
