So I haven't had godfathers in years and for some reason it just sounded good to me today. So I use the website made a quick order for carry out. But stupid me I was at work and it asked for my home address and so I routed my order to this godfathers instead of the one right next to my work. Of course I didn't realize that till I was at the wrong one trying to pick up my pizza. So I quickly drove here to pick up my order. When I pulled up I was turned off by the peeling paint and the weeds growing up next to the building. When I walked in I was greeted with a musty foul smell. Now I know it's really humid out today until about probably has an effect on it but it was not appetizing by any means. The place was poorly lit and looked really dingy. There were cobwebs and water spots up by the ceilings at the corners of the room. Clear packaging tape was keeping the for Micah on the counters. The two girls manning the registers and answering the phones were really nice though. I was greeted and helped officially. This one was not as busy as the Cedarfalls one. And admittedly the Cedarfalls one was a lot cleaner and brighter and nicer. I know pizzas a very competitive business nowadays but they're obviously not putting any money back into their restaurants. I would not be surprised if this one follow suit and closes like the one out by crossroads. I had to update my review from a two star to a three star. Even though the experience at the restaurant and the conditions of the restaurant were terrible the pizza and cheese sticks were delicious.
