This evening was so fun, good was amazing too. I need meatless and dairy free. They had a lentil vegetable soup that was incredible! Fresh mushrooms, celery, carrots and more. And a side salad with avocado spread that they let me add to the side. My friend had a grilled cheese on marble with tomato and creamy tomato soup. There was a band with guitars, tambourines and more. They are having a remodel to extend the space this ml the or next. It will then be Ramsey's Wine Bistro!

Great food, great weekly specials and most important - great people. I dig their sandwiches for lunch, especially the omnivore, the best sandwich in the greater Cedar Rapids area.

One of my most favorite places to eat! All the sandwiches are good. My favorite is the turkey Reuben or the Dilly grilled cheese. Food always takes a little longer than expected but it's worth the wait! Of course, try some wine! Knowledgable staff always :)

Great spot for lunch! I had the Turkey Basil Panini with an avocado spread. The turkey was oven roasted, the avocado spread had just the right amount of cumin and the basil leaves gave the sandwich a light and fresh taste. Every sandwich came with a side and the soup options sounded delicious, but, ultimately, I opted for a side of fruit due to the warm weather. I was incredibly happy with my selection and will definitely be back again for lunch. Only next time, I'll be sure to sample some wine as their selection was plentiful. They also had a sampling of Exile Brewery's latest brews on tap. I'll be returning for that as well (off of work hours). I would have given a 5 based on taste alone, but, unfortunately, they were a little understaffed for the lunch rush.

Yummy. My son has gourmet grilled cheese. Harvati, Gouda and Brie cheese. He is 5 and selective about his food. He loves it. My husband has the dip and I have meat , cheese and cracker. All are very tasty. Willamette valley Pinot noir is a crowd pleasure wine as expected. Good pair. Nice little spot for chilling evening.

Eh... It's okay. Like the other review say, the setup is confusing, there's wine everywhere and the seating is very cheap and uncomfortable. I ordered the spicy porky and it was pretty good but not worth waiting 25 minutes for after I ordered. Overall, I'd just go to Panera for this type of food.

Lovely surprise!! Would've drove right by it had it not popped up on Yelp! Wonderful wine bar with tasty menu of panini, sandwiches and soup. Quaint atmosphere. Very enjoyable. Will definitely come back.

I am a business traveler that finds myself in Cedar Rapids often, today we were hunting for a lunch spot ( on Yelp of course) and came across this place . The menu here is pretty simple but looked quite nice. I decided that since they are a Wine and cheese shoppe that they would hopefully have a nice artesian sandwich. I was absolutely correct. I purchased the Omnivore sub with habanero ghost cheese. It was absolutely amazing. I can say that the sandwich was so good that I will definitely be back for more and look forward to stopping in for some cheese and wine when I have a bit more time.

Best place in Marion to stop for a glass of wine or craft beer. Nice variety in the lunch menu. I've not been there for dinner and the music but I've heard it is all good!

The panini's and the tomato bisque is amaZing. Very rich! The portion size is bigger than you'd expect.

First off this is a wonderful place! They have great sandwiches, meat and cheese trays are a great value and go great with there wide selection of wines and beer. It has a nice intimate atmosphere rather your there with a friend or a date. The staff is very fun as well. Not to mention you can sit outside. Where else in Marion can you do that. Give it a try I promise you will leave pleased

Dined here last night with the BF after our walk from home up to the library. The menu is limited to cold sandwiches, varieties of grilled cheese, some paninis and a few salads. They have some really yummy sounding combinations though, so I would think any one could find something they'd like. I ordered the Turkey Reuben and BF ordered the All American (minus the sprouts). They have a choice of sides, and what's great is you are not charged extra if you want soup or fruit (lots of places love to slam on an additional $2-3 bucks for that). My sandwich was good; it had LOTS of turkey on it, could have used a little more coleslaw in my opinion. BF's sandwich was really good but the bread was super dry...like a crouton or something :) I didn't try the soup he ordered, but he ate it all so I'm sure it was delicious (tomato bisque). My side, the fruit, was a little sad. It was grapes, strawberries and green apples. The apples were browning...eek. Just looked sort of bad is all. The only issue I had with this place was the server. Oy vey. I don't want to get on some rant, so I will spare you. But let's just say if I saw this particular server working, I might just suggest we come back another time. Overall, I would definitely come back here. Especially now that I know they are open until 10:30/11:00 pm! It's within walking distance of my house (bonus), and seems like a really nice place to enjoy a glass of wine or beer in the later evening, a nice, "grown up" atmosphere. Very nice addition to Uptown Marion.

Great lunch specials! They post them daily on facebook. Sometimes they forget, but when they remember it's a great reminder to head over to Ramsey's. Their standard menu could be a little more innovative in regards to some of the sandwich offerings, but their specials are always enticing and delicious. We have yet to come back at night to enjoy a glass of wine, but love stopping in for lunch.

I love the Marion Square Park area, and have lots of good memories visiting the library, perusing the antique shops, and just walking around outside. So naturally when I noticed this cute little shop with patrons happily dining and sipping wine out front, I wanted to check it out. It seems like the perfect spot to enjoy some good food and soak up the general good vibes of this area. Unfortunately though, when my wife and I walked through the front door, we quickly realized that Ramsey's isn't quite what we expected. The interior is quite bland/bare, with the only striking details being the racks of wine lining the sides, and the fun hand-drawn chalk menu in back. Because of this menu and the bar/counter, it's not really clear where exactly one is supposed to order, but the guy behind the counter said we could sit anywhere and the waitress would be out to take our order. We chose a table for two by the racks of wine. We probably should have grabbed a table outside, because there was a ceiling vent that was blowing air directly into my wife's face. In any case, I was a little overheated due to the muggy weather, so I switched spots with her, and I was fine with the slight breeze. I'll preface the rest of the review by saying that we visited around lunch time on the (week)day after a holiday, so that may explain a bit of the muted/slow feeling. The waitress came out to take our order, and she was reasonably friendly, despite appearing a bit stressed. My wife ordered a house salad, and I ordered the Italian panini. Both items were around $8-9 apiece. The food was done fairly quickly, and mine looked pretty good, but I could tell my wife wasn't too impressed with hers. The salad was a mixture of romaine and iceberg lettuce, but was very heavy on the iceberg, which made it seem like just a regular ol' salad, and certainly not worth $8. The Italian panini was pretty decent (again, probably not worth $9), but I was a bit disheartened by my wife's mediocre lunch, so I had a hard time enjoying it. To top it off, there was a hint of cooking smoke/fumes or something in the air that made our eyes sting/burn a bit. All in all, it was not the experience I had envisioned. If you want a glass of wine, and a quick (pricey) bite to eat, Ramsey's may just fit the bill. However, if you're in Marion for a pleasant, delicious, and reasonably-priced lunch, you may want to look elsewhere.

Very nice addition to Downtown Marion. Great atmosphere and good wine and specialty beer selections. Although the food selections are slightly limited, I have enjoyed every item I've tried. Nice selection of oils and vinegars to sample and purchase by the bottle.
