Needed a place for lunch and my coworker suggested Olympic Gyros. I haven't had Gyros since visiting Greece. The place is located in a small strip mall and had a steady flow of customers, we came right before the lunch rush. I got the gyro platter which came with fries. You get a lot of food for ten dollars. The gyro was very good, plenty of meat. The feta cheese was a small square and you needed more. The cucumber sauce was excellent. The olives had the pits and were great, lots of tomatoes. Excellent. The fries were soggy and I didn't care for them. The food is served quickly and the place had a nice lunch atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and efficient.

Please don't go here. The service was terrible, the food was horrible, and the place itself is a no good, very bad place. I shall never come here again.

The food was terrific and the customer service was fantastic!! My girlfriend and I will be eating there again for sure.

Service was great, place was clean, but food was terrible. Instead of getting a dipping cup for Italian beef, they dip your entire bread in it making it mushy and inedible. Meatball sandwich was on special but the meatballs tasted old. A little Italian seasoning in the meat would have made the sandwich bearable. The bread tastes old too. Try toasting it next time? French fries were great. That's a hard thing to mess up on though. Most likely will not be coming here again.

The gyros are full of thinly sliced meat. I'm disappointed that there are not more options for toppings but it is probably more authentic that way. Beyond that there is not much bad or good to say about the gyros, they taste similar to others I've had and are probably about a dollar cheaper than other gyro places I've been to.

Gyros are very good. Rank up there in the best 3 places in the quad cities for them. Price is a little cheaper than others. Fries are good.

Come hungry!!! Huge portions. Tasty food! Great tzaziki. Make sure you do not have plans for the rest of the day; after you eat the gyro & fries combo, you will not be able to move much! Perfect for a lazy Sunday of football on TV. Clean restaurant. Fast service. Best gyros in the QC by far!!

I only had the gyros there but it was very tasty. They definitely didn't skimp out on the meat. It was loaded! The pita was good with some diced tomatoes and onions as well the regular sauce. Inexpensive at 5.13 after tax.

The gyros are pretty good, but I did not like the burger. The fries are fresh cut and great. I loved this place enough to hit it up again before heading back out of state.

Pretty good. I have been looking for a go to place for Gyros and this will be it. I ordered the gyro meal and was pleased with the price and surprised fries came with it, not very Mediterranean, but very good nonetheless. I expect a bit more zest from the gyros sauce and a little more veggies but all in all very delicious! Also for 7 dollar and change the portions and size was awesome!

Gyro was pretty good. Maybe a little more sauce. Meat was a bit dry. Fries were good. Reasonably priced. Quick service.

As gyros go, I don't know what the standard is in this area, and I will admit in advance that I developed my taste for gyros when overseas. So, that said, I can only state my opinion based on that. I got a gyro plate. The meat was tasty, and as expected, it had the usual creamy tsatiki sauce (I probably spelled that wrong...), and it had some feta, some tomato, and some onion. Underneath that was the usual bread pita-like wrapper (is there a technical name for it? I dunno...), and there were fries included. As far as value, I think it was quite reasonable... It was under $7, and only slightly more if I had wanted something from the soda fountain. As far as quality, I was neither blown away nor upset with my meal. It was just your average gyro meat, and the piece of feta was pretty small. Lots of sauce. I did not like the pita... it was chewy and not so appealing. I did not like the fries. They were burnt and undersalted. I ate my meat/tomato/onion/yogurt blend and I enjoyed it well enough. The overall experience left me feeling pretty neutral about it all. While I'm still not running around promoting this place to all my friends, I still might go back... The service was super-speedy, and I felt like I got a lot of food for the money. The food comfortably rates at 3-stars.

Olympic Gyros is my go-to gyro joint in the QCA. The portions are huge! An 8 dollar combo gets you a delicious gyro packed with meat and a heaping order of fresh French fries. The Italian beef is also amazing. Great little spot. Awesome food, good prices and friendly service.

Great food at a great price. Real fresh cut fries. If this place had a drive through they would put McDonalds out of business. Very good selection of American food. We have had the cheeseburger, Gyros, Italian Beef and their tenderloin and all were great. This place is worth a trip. I returned again to try their steak sandwich, WOW very large piece of steak very tender not fat and was so flavorful. $7.99 for a 8oz steak sandwich more fresh cut fries I couldn't eat them all and a large refillable soft drink. I can't believe the prices and the quality of the food. This place also uses a higher quality gyros meat than the other guys in the Quad Cities, most use Kronos gyro meat and that is very generic. I could taste the difference in the first bite. They need to open more locations so we don't have to travel so far. With these prices we can afford to take the kids out with us to eat more often.

It was good. I got my order to go and when I got home (about 15 min ride) the gyro was soggy and greasy. The fires got hard as nails as they got cold but those were good. I am here for business so only a short time but I would eat here again if I were living here. But I would also try others first. For $8 you won't be disappointed but don't expect to find a gem.

Excellent gyros and fresh cut fries. I rate the Italian beef as OK, but not anywhere near the quality of a Chicago Italian beef. Still haven't found a place in the QC who can make a great Italian beef.
