Good wings, same selection as other Buffallo Wild Wings. Favorite comment was in response to my question: Me - "Does the chicken salad have grilled chicken on it?" Server - "I guess, though it all comes from the same bag" Awesome. That said, the meal was good, not great, but what we expected. Good for groups looking for beer, wings and a game, rather than dinner with your wife.

How hard is it to heat up some chicken wings?! Every time I visit this BWW is like an act of congress to get my food on time. I've dined in and waited over 30 minutes for food and I've ordered carryout (where they ask you when you'd like to pick up your order) and I've still had to wait more than 20 minutes longer than when I specified. Why the delay? Who knows? The place is never busy when I'm here considering this is a college town. Let's not discuss when I've ordered food, waited over 30 minutes and then I'm told they've run out of the item I've ordered. Or when I asked for a salad to go and when I got back to my hotel room there's no salad dressing or silverware like I requested. Sigh. If they didn't show the UFC fights or other PPV events for free I'd never come back here again.

Okay, I've always love my BWW wings. I've even gone back as the wings got smaller and and more expensive. Sure I've gone less but now with the menu change I'm done. Now you're not even ordering 12 wings or 18. You're ordering small, medium or large. How many is that you ask?? About 10 or about 12. Ugh.

This was probably one of the smallest BWW locations I have ever been to. I ordered the Buffalo Chicken sandwich. First of all, this sandwich was a complete mess. It had cheese and sauce on it and both were all over the place as I tried to eat this. The bun immediately fell apart. It was a disaster. Our server was very nice and attentive. This BWW is ok. It is a chain and you shouldn't expect much more than what a chain offers.

The wings themselves were pretty good, but I have some logistical issues with this place. First we ordered ice teas and they came without lemon slices, forgivable if that was it. Then we order boneless wings and a buffalo chicken sandwich. We had to ask for sides of blue cheese. How is this even possible when buffalo is your main gig? Blue cheese to buffalo is like Romeo to Juliet, separate those two and bad shit goes down. They also drizzle with sauce versus dipping. I prefer a little wing with my sauce man, go ahead dunk em' on in there. So I had to ask for a side of sauce too. They also give you one paper thin napkin. How does this place not have rolls of paper towels on the table? Maybe because they're weak in their drizzles to keep napkin consumption low? I see now. Lastly, this massive bucket of 20 plus wings doesn't even get a side plate so I'm fighting with all the wings trying to cut up my boneless pieces. I'm a lady, I'm not gonna shove that whole thing in my mouth, I have manners, some at least. This place could be great, but it's not and as the stars say, meh. I've experienced better.

My wife and I stopped at this location on our way through Iowa for lunch and a break from driving. I have to start by saying our server did as best as she could and was very attentive to us. I was very disappointed with the time that it took to receive our food. We were hungry when we arrived and placed small order of wings for each of us right when we ordered drinks. Shortly after we received our drinks and ordered food. It took 30 minutes to receive the wings, after which the server apologized and mentioned she clearly marked them as an "appetizer." It wouldn't have been a big deal if the meal had come shortly after, but it took another 40 minutes before the rest of the food arrived. The server said the kitchen was short-staffed and that managers were having to prepare food; I don't know how much I buy the excuse. I don't care to make a scene in a restaurant or ask to be comp'ed food, so I express my frustration in my tip. The management at this location owes an apology to their servers if this is a regular occurrence; it has to hurt their tips as it did in this instance.

Buffalo Wild Wings is 5 star...this place in Coralville gets 3. Not great services, some issues, and too many kids working.

It's a Buffalo Wild Wings. Pretty much the same as any other Buffalo Wild Wings in any other town. Decent selection of large scale craft beer, but lacking in local stuff, plus the usual macro brews. Wings are ok, but a little pricey for what you get. The bartender the night I was in was cool so my service was good. Honestly that is the only thing that bumps this location up a notch as the service at most locations isn't anything to brag about.

After we got our order the waiter disappeared, vanished. The ac was blasting, good thing I was wearing a bra.

I haven't visited this location in a loooong time because my experience both in the dining area and the takeout was hit & miss. Tonight I ordered some boneless wings for takeout and they were ready in less than 15 minutes and it was busy so that was pretty cool. The wings were really good. Obviously BWW is not a "fourstar" restaurant in the classic sense but I'm rating it four stars given what it is...an informal bar/restaurant.

Usually very good food, except for their fries. They are never hot. We ordered wings and fries. Fries were not hot so we asked for new. Wings were not very sauce covered. Service was not good. I would not come back to this BWW.

We come to this location all the time same ol service...long wait for food hardly and sauce on wings. I always as for extra sauce. Don't go hungry you will be miserable waiting 30 min for food

This location has gone downhill (not that it was ever really that great). "$8 Beer Night" (every night) + exact change for tax. 1 month ago I called in for a to-go order on a Tuesday afternoon at 3pm (not a busy time). They guy that answer seemed very annoyed that I called. When I asked for 1/2 dozen mild & 1/2 dozen garlic parm he interrupted me before I could even finish to tell me "We don't do 6, we do 8" Then I proceeded to ask a question & received a 'SIGH' At that point I just said "Are your serious right now, is this how you always talk to customers?" Complete disrespect, rude & I will never go back for a $10 crap meal + drink + ranch + celery!

For dining in or carry out, this is the place for tasty wings and all that accompanies them! Buffalo Wild Wings has a great selection of sauces and allows you to call ahead your order and go pick it up. They are always fast and friendly. The place can be full at times given their location, but they tend to free up tables quickly. Check out the cheaper prices on wings on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

I am a big fan of Wild Wings... and had a very poor experience a couple days ago that I feel I needed to share. I coach a very large group of youth basketball players... a program with 250 families involved... and we go to Wild Wings in a number of cities around the midwest. Last weekend at an event in Iowa City, the other coaches and a few players and I went to the Coralville location in between games. One of our coaches arrive early and asked for a table for 10, and he and his son were sat at a small 4-person table in the bar... he was told that the rest of the group kid sit at the table next to him, which was fine. When the rest of us arrived, we seated ourselves at his table and the adjoining table. 5 minutes later, a waitress asked if we had been seated, we told her the story, and she proceeded to get silverware for us. The GM then showed up, rudely telling us that we had to move as we weren't seated and that there was a line. He told me that "he had been working there for 5 years" a number of times, and obnoxiously stated that "if we didn't know the whole party didn't need to be seated at once, then we must not be very good customers". He raised his voice, threatened to kick us out. We got back in line, waited another 15 min, and were seated. The GM walked by us a number of times glaring at our group... it was a horrible experience, and we definitely did not feel welcome. I'm accustomed to a good experience at BWW... so this definitely disappointed me.

I guess this is a chain, but I'd never been to one until recently. I was pleasantly surprised. Sometimes you get a wing craving and theirs were good. The only down side is that they're always packed full of people watching he game and the takeout counter is pretty slow too. There are plenty of local places with good wings so I'd probably lean in favor of supporting small businesses, but BBW is convenient if you're needing to eat between trips to BB&B and TJ Maxx.

They were slow to get our drinks due to shift change. Then they switched the sound from the Hawkeye basketball game to the Pro Bowl. Our game was only half-way finished and the Pro Bowl hadn't even started!! The manager made a lame excuse and was unsympathetic. We asked for our food to go. Normally, we like this place, but the manager is *not* a Hawkeye fan.

I would like to say that this location has lost my entire business. Today, after a company picnic, co-workers and I joined each other for some after hours fun. We were the only party in the picnic area, about 10 adults, with a child. As an adult, after a long day we all wanted to grab a drink. The mother of the child was not consuming any alcohol for the sake of her child being around us. Apparently, after a horrible experience, a waitress decided to take it upon herself to judge our entire group and bring it to a manager that we were an unsafe environment for a child. I will admit, we had a member that had consumed a volume of alcohol, however, their actions should not reflect on the entire party. Some of our guests were told to remove themselves from the establishment (the mother, child, and grandfather) - none of which had been consuming alcohol. Another one of our guests was cornered by this particular server, practically telling him that we were irresponsible for bringing a child around us while we are consuming some alcohol. This guest was then refused service, after only having ordered one beer from the time we arrived (about and hour in). I believe this to be a poor act of customer service. I, myself, have been a server. I understand some guests can be a little out of hand, however, at the end of the day customer service is everything. It is highly unprofessional to judge customers, considering we are your source of running a business. This particular server, wasn't even servicing us - a bartender was. We were completely uncomfortable about the situation, many of us left the establishment due to how we were made felt: NO CUSTOMER SHOULD HAVE TO FEEL THIS WAY. Needless to say, they will no longer be getting our business.

You've got to love it when a server at a chain restaurant remembers what you had to drink on your last visit. No mistakes on takeouts (forgotten sauces, items, etc.) ever. I don't love franchises, but I appreciate a good one when I see it.
