Great local bar. Great staff and the owner is friendly. Country dancing Monday's. Trivia Tuesday's. Tons of live music on the weekends. Drinks are reasonably priced but have excellent Moscow mules if looking for something a bit fancier. Check it out whether it's slow or packed you'll have a great time!

Meh. Went on a Saturday night. The place was busy and there was a live band. I felt like the bouncer was incredibly rude to me, which is the basis for the 2 stars. I was trying to ask a question about the cover, and he made me feel like an idiot and dismissed me. (And I wasn't drunk-I'm pregnant and was stone cold sober.) I understand he deals with drunk people all night, which would cause anyone to be short on patience, but I felt like he was treating me like a drunk idiot. Otherwise, the service at the bar was ok, and the place seemed quite clean (I didn't visit the restroom, which is my usual standard for the cleanliness of an establishment). The parking lot was a bit of a cluster: I parked in a row of cars, no problem, but was parked in when we went to leave (cars had parked in an additional row behind us...very close behind us...and there was a row of cars immediately in front of us...I did navigate my way out, but it was like that scene in Austin Powers where Austin is driving the golf cart and get stuck in a hallway). I imagine a few people had trouble getting out of their parking spots.

A cool bar in Altoona? With decent beer? And an outdoor patio? Who woulda thunk it?! The Brewhouse No 25 just opened and seems to be a hit in this little community. You'll find a relatively decent selection of craft beer, a big dance floor, servers who don't know what beer other than Miller Lite is, a huge dance floor, a huge screen that has to be awesome for game day (I hope the owners are Packers fans!), patio seating, cornhole (!), beer pong, and lots of locals who are so excited to get out of the house that they're falling over flat surfaces. Don't get me wrong - I'm excited for this place opening up, too! It's definitely a hopping place on the weekends, as you'll find people of all age groups enjoying Altoona's newest hangout. I just hope their beer selection (at least outside) and overall vibe gets a little classier as they develop. :)

No menu for food yet. Wtf. I think it's a young owner trying to run a business. We left. Service sucked too.

Went to enjoy the oatio and out door bar. Started my evening by having someone ash in my drink at the bar. Decided to go in side and took forever to get a drink( I must be to old). I expected better but it is a new bar.

Great place to hang out after workweek! The kitchen is coming soon and then it will be my favorite hangout in Altoona!
