Cash only! Cheap eats, almost everything is under $10. Lots of parking available. It's tiny inside with limited seating arrangements. I wouldn't say this is an appealing place to dine as it seems quite dirty that you don't want to touch the table. Service: I think you seat yourself as you are not greeted or acknowledged on your way in. I suggest grabbing your own menu rather than waiting for one. There are only two women cooking, serving, and taking orders. Our food came out in a decent amount of time being that one of the ladies was taking the lead spatula. Your check doesn't come to you. Go up and let them know your ready to pay. Don't expect great service. Food: Ordered the French toast, fried rice omelette, hotcakes, loco moco, chicken fried rice omelette, side order link sausage, and bacon. She also gave us some kimchee. The kimchee was really good and not too spicy. French toast was bomb! Chicken fried rice omelette was pretty good as well as the regular fried rice. They both were pretty large portions & catches you with the heavy taste of luncheon meat. I haven't tried the hotcakes (i should have). The side meats tastes like your usuals. The loco moco wasn't that great. Overall, nothing too exciting about the food. I may be back to try other food items on their wide variety menu.

TOTAL hole in the wall in Waipahu. Great place to kick it while getting tires done at Firestone, which is what I was doing. Ordered eggs, Portagee sausage, and kim chee fried rice, all of which were delicious in a very old school almost neighbor island diner kind of way. They let me hang out for a while, and a super nice lady offered me a refill on my coffee even though I clearly had brought in my own in a travel mug. Portions were very generous; I could not finish everything. After leaving a more than 20% tip that same lady brought back my money insisting I left too much - how nice is that? Was a great experience and I insisted they deserved it. Cash only.

I'm sitting at my husbands salon and just had to review on the lunch that we just had. We had the Kim Chee Fried Rice Omelette. It is absolutely the best Kim Chee fried rice I have ever eaten...ever. It's not like other fried rices that is overwhelming where you can't even finish it...or the fried rices where you need to add shoyu or kitchup. It's perfect. I am definitely going there to get more. I'm sure I'll be there real soon. It totally hits the spot. A must try!!!!

It's a small spot that you'd miss but the food is tasty. Had the meat jun and bbq spicy pork. So yummy! Down side is if you had a big group you might be able to sit together since the largest Booth only sits 4people. Also cash only. So be prepared lol. Other than that I loved it and so did my papa.

Let me just start by saying that this place is tucked behind the 7-11 next to a laundry mat, not exactly "in" the Waipahu shopping plaza with Saver's, it's more to the "left" of it. Drove around the entire shopping plaza very slowly before I finally found it. It looks a little "ghetto" from the outside, with questionable characters hanging outside the laundromat next door, and is kinda old, and dingy on the inside, but don't let that deter you from eating here. The breakfast here is nothing less than amaaaaaaaaazing! As soon as I entered and sat myself down, the Korean mama-san brought me a glass of iced water and a menu, and asked if I was dining alone. I told her I was waiting for a friend. She smiled and said okay. Within a few minutes she came by with a pot of coffee and offered me some, which I declined. So sweet I tell you! (I'm not a big coffee person unless it's filled with tons of cream and sugar, so what's the sense). While I waited for my friend who was running behind cause they too were having a difficult time locating this place, I thoroughly enjoyed the eclectic mix of people coming in and out of here. People ranging from families, couples, to construction workers, to people that work retail in the area that were coming in to grab takeout. I was really amazed at how well the mama-san was handling her customers, and food orders! From what I could tell, she was a one man band until lunch time! She was serving, bussing, cashiering, answering the phone for take out orders AND cooking!!! She didn't look in the least bit stressed out! Damn! I would be! I'd be a nut job! (Well I am a nut job...but just check me into Kahi Mohala at that point)! Watching her handle her business was very impressive to say the least. She finally got some relief around 11...when another cute old mama-san reported for duty, and took customers orders, and bussed from then on. When my friend finally arrived, mama-san was watching, and came over right away. Maybe she felt sorry for me waiting for my friend for so long. We both ordered the kimchee fried rice omelette, and we split an order of French toast! I just couldn't resist! So glad we splurged! It was worth every calorie! The omelette was huge and the Kim chee was just perfect, not too hot so you couldn't taste anything else, and the fried rice was delish! We could have shared! I know for next time, that way we can try other stuff too! The French toast was equally delicious. It was pretty straightforward, no frills...but the taste was just amazing! True, old school diner flavor...I cannot replicate the flavor of the egg mixture on the French toast. I can't wait to go back for lunch and try other things on the menu. With such great food, COMPLETELY reasonable prices, and really awesome, friendly, speedy service, I'm sure this little hole in the wall will be here for the long haul.

The food was ok. Nothing to write home about. The place is tiny. No one greets you, seats you or gives you a menu. Being our first time there I didn't know you had to find your own menu. So after waiting too long I grabbed one I saw on the counter. No one asked about drinks until we waived at a worker to take our food order. With four stars on Yelp I really expected much better, in every aspect. My husband's coffee was never served until he physically went up to the counter and asked where it was. We also had to go up to the counter to ask for the bill. So really no one served us at any point. My water glass was empty at the beginning of my meal and was never refilled. Terrible terrible service. We'll never be back.

A definite hole in one, kind of hole in the wall! I've lived in Waipahu for YEARS, but never ventured around to see what's out here.. & then close-by restaurants on yelp's suggestions lead me to read the reviews on this place, & thus lead me to trying this place out. And I'm GLAD I did! I think this is going to be my new favorite breakfast spot! My sister & I wanted to eat something sweet, yet we wanted to have rice (typical asian problems), so we decided to half our meals. I ordered the 2pc banana shortstack, & my sister ordered the "famous fried rice" omelette. I dug into the omelette first & it was so good! The fried rice really is good! I'm not a fan of luncheon meat (& I believe that's what was in there), but I still found this to be satisfying! I'd much rather prefer spam, but at the rate people eat spam, & how expensive it's now getting I can see the expenses being a problem. The banana pancakes we're superrrrr good! It was light & fluffy, and you get actual pieces of banana in the pancakes (not completely mashed), & it was just GOOD! If you have ever ate at Likelike Drive Inn in town; (You would know Likelike has good banana pancakes!) I think Waipahu Cafe trumps Likelike's! And I'd like to note that I'm not much of a sweet, pancake, breakfast type of girl. The ONLY downside of this place is that it's cash only! I had no idea when coming here. &there was no outside sign to say cash only. I noticed the sign on the counter after I ordered, so I had to withdraw from 7-11's ATM, & that extra $2.75 was not the business. Also, this is a VERY small & VERY confined cafe! There may have been 6 small table booths there, & a few counter seats, but that's it. We did wait about 40mins (from seating to ordering our food, to actually getting our food), but it was worth the wait. Thank God I had the day off! Lastly, as a former waitress and currently working in customer service it did bother me a slight bit that we stood there before seating ourself & was not acknowledged for nearly 15mins. I will, however, give them the benefit of the doubt that they we're just busy (I believe there we're only 3 workers). Other than that, I'd chose this place for breakfast over Denny's and iHop. I will be back again!

I love this place. I've eaten here a bunch of times and if they were open later, I would be eating here even more often. It's a hole in the wall with good cheap food. Nuff sed. Ok maybe not enough said. I love the fried rice omelettes. That's all I eat here because I like it so much. Maybe someday I'll try some other dishes but for now I'm very content with what I've been eating. I read some reviews here about the lack of service and wait time, but I've never ever had that problem in all the times I've been here. I walk in, grab a menu and seat myself. What's so hard about that? The people complaining about the ambiance, service and quality of food need to remember it's a small hole in the wall cafe in WAIPAHU!!!!!! Not Waikiki or town where you'll be paying Waikiki and town prices for food that's not as good. You're not eating at the Halekulani, so grab a menu, sit your okole down and tell the mama san what you like eat. And when I pau eat, I actually WALK up to the counter and pay my bill.

My brother was the one who told me about this place. So I checked it out one hungry day. I walked in and instantly fell in love with the place. It has that old school diner feel with counter and booths. Plus the kitchen and grill is just on the other side of the counter so you can watch them cook. My first time I tried the breakfast plate which is two eggs, your choice of breakfast meat and rice for $5.50. You can add their specialty friend rice for an additional $2, which I would recommend. You can also ask for free homemade Kimchee on the house with your order. The first time I went the owner even gave me and my bro complimentary cucumber Kimchee with our order on top of the regular Kimchee lol. Like the yelper before me said it's pretty much like eating at grandmas. Which might explain why I like it here so much. If you're in Waipahu in the morning and looking for some good breakfast I'd say stop by.

Breakfast all day, prices are reasonable and service is friendly. Only drawback is parking. There's a lot going on in this area so parking lot is crowded. Gonna make this my regular Sunday afternoon go to for the first meal of the day for sure!!

  • Tupu L.

My girlfriend and I have been coming here regularly for the past 2 or 3 months. Their food is really tasty and the service is really friendly. I especially like their kimchi. They make their own. It has kind of a sweetness to it so it makes dishes like the kimchi fried rice omlet really tasty imho. Their prices are reasonable ranging from about $6 to around $8. One thing that might be an issue is parking. Theres a laundromat next door and a shopping center on the other side so there are always a lot of cars, however my girlfriend and I havent run into any major problems with that yet. Overall, they have good food and friendly service. I always have a good experience at Waipahu Cafe.

Ate there for the first time today. Did not have any problem finding parking. I ordered the breakfast plate with spam and fried rice and my fiance ordered steak and eggs. Customer service was good. Fiance did not care for their coffee but the food was good. We had complimentery kim chee with our order, which tasted pretty good. My plate came with two thick pieces of spam, scrambled eggs, and fried rice. The rice was really good. I liked that it was packed with meat. My fiance enjoyed his plate also. Thanks yelpers for helping me find this place.

Absolutely love this place. It's kind of small and they get busy fast but it's worth the wait! There are only 2 workers; one waitress and one cook. They don't make your food until you order so you know it's just made. Portions are big enough up share but once you taste it you won't wanna share. The prices for the food is good for the amount of food you get. Overall I love this place and you should try it

It was my first time going there. My brother was the one that suggested we go there for breakfast as he has been there many times before. Small hole in the wall place which is the kind of places that I like especially if the food is supper good. I had the Kim Chee Fried Rice Omelet which was super onolicious. My brother has the Kalbi plate lunch which he said was also onolicious. I loved it and will be back again.

This place was delicious. Love the Kim Chee fried rice. Best on the island. Big portions and very reasonably price. Service was slow but they were busy and didn't bother me too much since the food was really good. Next to thai kitchen.

I live in Kaimuki but try to get down here at least once a month because their fried rice omelette is the best I've ever tasted. Mama who runs the shop is the sweetest lady ever, so overall, the customer service and food always makes it worth the trip.

When me and my mom were doing laundry next to the diner, I told her hey let's go to this diner for breakfast. Right when I walk in I can smell the coffee!!! We sat down on a table and the korean lady noticed us and politely offered us water and asked for coffee. Right after we got our drinks, she sets our table with our forks. She takes our order and cooks it right away! I ordered Portuguese sausage, over easy eggs, and fried rice. OMG!!! iT WAS THE BEST BREAKFAST I EVER HAD IN A DINER!!! I could feel the love and effort that sweet old lady gave us and I could feel it in her cooking. I will always return to Waipahu Cafe!!! Hats of for you Waipahu cafe and more years for the OWNER!!!

Great lil diner. Friendly staff quick service. The food is delicious and generous portions. Not a big place, pretty cozy and divy but still a great place to get some island food. A must try!!!!

I would love to rave about the food here...cuz I'm guessing it probably is pretty good diner food. However I can't: attempted to eat here today and after waiting nearly 40 minutes we got no service. I get that it's a small hole-in-the-wall kind of place, which will add to it's charm, but 40 minutes? Amp not even water! The kicker was ppl who came in after us at least got their order taken, no food in 40 minutes, but at least they got some acknowledgement. I wouldn't bother w/ this place.

For my 400th review, this little hole in the wall deserves it. Only open for breakfast and lunch, Waipahu Cafe is tucked in a tiny unassuming strip mall off Farrington Hwy which houses Jolibee, a laundromat and a Thai place. This place is famous for its kim chee fried rice omelette. It's a small little diner with only a few tables. You seat yourself and it is run by two nice little cute Korean ladies. Other options are all kinds of breakfast dishes: pancakes, bacon, eggs done your way, etc. to local lunch items such as chicken katsu, kal bi, hamburger steak, etc. I ordered the kim chee fried rice omelette and damn was it tasty! Tons of fried rice and the omelette was huge! They also give you a side of kim chee made of regular cabbage. It was oh so tasty and I left with bad breath, but I didn't care. Most dishes on the menu are under $10.00. There's plenty of parking if you go in the morning. Service was slow but friendly but there are only two ladies working. The place has an old school vibe so it's better to go when you aren't in a rush anyway.

Still one of the best little cafes around and not just in Waipahu , so polite fresh food and always good. Very polite and yes they do get busy so you can call your order in

Amazing food. Fast service. Served with a smile. Best variety of fried rice omelet on the island.

  • Ray R.

Came here bc of the raving yelp reviews and left full but dissatisfied. To be fair the overall rating shud be 3.5 stars. 3 stars for the kim chee fried rice. my gmas is better and she not even korean. But now dat I tink of it her friend that makes the kim chi is korean so same diff. I sometimes eggs over medium, but I cant stand runny omelets! 4 stars for price and portions: Ate my fill then took enough home to make it 2 meals for da price of one! 3.5 stars for service, while they were extremely friendly, with only 4 tables of customers, I expect service to be much faster. Very similar to any Asian restaurant where they hurry u to order, then forget about u even wen its time to pay!

    (3)
  • Laura R.

Had the fried rice omelet and it was delicious. Love the friendly staff. Cash only :) It only has 4 stars because I need to try more to see if I really like all their food. I can't imagine messing up a fried rice omelet is that easy.

  • Dave G.

I've never eaten rice for breakfast before, but the fried rice omelet was very good. Also tried the french toast, and it was cooked to perfection. My wife had sausage and eggs, and we both say for the price, the rating is a five.

This is one of my favorite places to get breakfast, but it can get real busy and crowded at times. I usually order the corned beef hash and eggs. The fried rice is also very good here.

  • Baybee G.

To start this place is like one of those hole in walls meaning I never really heard of it but let me tell you it was worth the hunt. Their service is great looks like it's being ran by ladies not too much of a scenary but the food is good. Not really a fan of Kim chee but the Kim chee fried rice is what we locals call ONO delicious it's like a real home cooked meal prices are reasonable for the portions enough to get me full I would most likely return and definitely recommend it to others. Great selections for choices of meat and it serves breakfast and lunch 6am-2pm so don't miss out....

  • Al H.

Rice and Kim chee prepared well! Fried rice was pretty good but if you ever ate Uncle Clays fried rice no can compare. I should have ordered bacon crispy. Pancake with Kim chee! Yum! Hash needs more meat!

Read most reviews so I had to try the Kimchee Fried Rice Omelet. I tell you what, that portion is just amazing as its taste! *A MUST TRY!* And then there's the Banana Hot Cakes, also a MUST try!

  • Jayme S.

Small diner-style restaurant near the Waipahu Shopping Plaza (adjacent to Jollibee's). The actual restaurant is hidden between a laundromat and other smaller shops, like a Thai eatery. The portions are large, but I've noticed that the cost of the items have been rising since I first started going to Waipahu Cafe. Overall, the food is good, which helps me overlook the prices. I typically place phone orders, but be prepared to wait. I usually have to wait a little extra before leaving the restaurant with my food. My favorite meal so far is the kimchee fried rice.

  • Lynnell A.

I come here for bfast. Food is reasonably priced and the mama-san that works the grill is pretty fast. Can't go wrong with the fried rice omelet' It's small, have about six tables, four counter seats and one waitress. It's old and dingy restaurant. I'm the kind of person that will eat anywhere as long as I don't see critters and the cook scratching their derrière.

Food is always on point! Cheap prices! Only downfall is it closes at 2:00 pm ! Bomb.com famous fried rice is a must try bruhh!

Yummy fried rice served here. The portions ares HUGE for the omelets. They serve the rice with a side of kimchi. We also had a side of bacon and pork links. Good for if you are in the area and want fried rice. And remember it's CASH ONLY.

My little girl and I stopped in here for the first time for a quick breakfast. Such a tiny place with maybe 5 or six booths and a few stool seatings. The place was pretty full so I started thinking twice but decided to stay and wait it out anyway instead of drive to another place. Took a good 10 minutes or so for someone to take our order but it's good that i'm a patient person. The staff seemed happy to be so busy and they were on their toes with trying to crank out all the orders but dang they do work fast. I figured the place must be good since the customers were willing to wait and they were being addressed as if they were regulars. So we ordered a short stack of pancakes and a mushroom omelette with fried rice. They even asked if I wanted kim chee. Absolutely! We got our food pretty fast and once we started eating I understood why people were willing to wait. YUMMO! The portions were big, the pancakes were moist and fluffy (with a huge glob of butter) and the house kim chee was ON POINT! Their fried rice was awesome and the omelette was chock-full of mushrooms and veggies. All were served on mix-matched plates (like being at someone's house) which I thought was adorbs. :) Needless to say we left stuffed and happy. The people here are so nice and welcoming. I'll definitely come back again and again. That Kim Chee tho! BRING YOUR CASH! No cards accepted.

Cruising around after an early appointment, looking for some place for breakfast prior to hitting Pearlridge for my last minute shop stops, I hit the Yelp search and this little cafe popped up. Tiny! Think Ray's Cafe size. Six four person booths and a little counter bar for maybe three or four. Two little ladies cooking, taking orders, serving and cashiering. Busy little place. A lot of take out going on too. Every booth was filled by the time we got our food which was actually pretty fast. Quite a menu for breakfast and lunch, eggs and breakfast meats, fried rice and noodles, omelets, pancakes, soups, burgers, sandwiches, plate lunches and a number of Korean items. HB was his usual Loco Moco deemed three stars and under seven dollars. $1 for a nice mug of decent coffee with refills better and than most breakfast places. I selected the Hot Koo Soo which I truly enjoyed. The server gave me a small dish of hot sauce to add and it gave a kick to the soup. I also enjoyed the Kimchee served on the side. Not hot but very flavorful. One of their specials must be the Kimchee fried rice omelet because someone at nearly every table ordered it. The cafe is only open 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM and is cash only. Definately a hole in the wall, next to a laundry and it looks like people are hanging around but they a just waiting for their clothes to dry. Parking is abundant and they are cash only. Always good to find a reasonable place with good food for breakfast. Will be back soon as they are open everyday.

Kimchi fried rice omelet is the bomb. It's super delicious. Famous fried rice omelet is also awesome. Came here while stay in JW Marriott Ihilani Ko Olina. The staff here is extremely friendly and keep refilling what we had. Come here early in weekend. 6 or 7am No wait no line ;) will come back again in the future.

Great food. Great service. Banana pancakes were fluffy with lots of fresh banana in them. Portuguese sausage was very flavorful. The fried rice omelet was very big and tasted great. This seems to be a true local Hawaiian experience.

Warning: Blasphemous Comment in 3,2,1....Waipahu Cafe *is greater than sign* Rockys. Whew! Now that I got that off my chest, let's begin. Their fried rice omelette is awesome. When my parents took me here, and told me they've replaced Rocky's, I was very doubtful. So I totally understand what you're going through. It's okay, everything's going to be okay...the sky is not falling. Okay, now try it!

I usually would give a five star review for this place. But not today..I took my family there and when we walked in no one acknowledged us. We were standing there for a good five minutes. She finally cleaned the table so we could sit. We sat there and she still didn't acknowledge us. It was terrible. We ended up walking out. Its to bad because their food is good but because of bad customer service. They just lost my business

Service was great! And my kimchi fried rice omelette was delicious! My boyfriend had the kimchi ham omelette. It was a very kimchi oriented breakfast Keep in mind this a greasy spoon type of restaurant, but that's what we walked in expecting. The server (owner?) was sweet and made sure to check on us and keep our water full. She even sent us home with a pint of kimchi after we both cleaned our plates and the kimchi side that came with our meals. A little hard to find since it's tucked away in the strip mall behind 7-Eleven, but was worth the extra time to locate. I like to visit a place a few times before leaving a review, but when I have a memorable experience I like to share it right away. This was definitely one of those experiences and I look forward to getting my next greasy spoon fix here!

The women that operates this establishment is EXCEPTIONAL. I love the "at home" feel, hole in wall establishment on the west that serves up delicious local food. Dine in and get a side of Kim Chee. Gracious Service! and ONO FOOD!

I enjoy coming here. It's your basic hole in the wall but Aunty can cook some really Ono food. If your impatient then don't bother coming here. Go mcdonalds or something. It would be your own personal lost. I haven't had anything here that I can honestly say I disliked. It's affordable, big portions and I just love Aunty. She's a doll. You can also order take out which is really quick if your on the run. You can refer the menus I posted. Your welcome ;)

Oh my goodness! My family and I just had breakfast here. A wonderful hole in the wall located next to the laundry mat. One lady serves while another cooks everything on a griddle. Even though one lady was cooking our food came out quick and was fantastic! I had the Kim chi fried rice omelette. It was beyond what I was expecting. Not very spicy but so full of flavor! The portion was huge and I had to force myself to stop eating it so I was not a glutton! My husband had the banana pancakes and Portuguese sausage. He loved them both! Our breakfast was only 20 and that was with the tip! It is worth the drive. The place was busy but tables would turn over quick. I am already thinking of going back!

Just locking at everyone post here. I decided today was the day to eat here. As soon as we entered, a sweet Korean lady gave us a menu. I already know what to order. Me & my bf ordered, fried rice omelet side order pork chops with gravy loco moco sub with fried rice additional $2.50 more & mandoo soup. The sweet lady ask us u want Kim chee I told her yes please. Our food came out in 10 minutes everything smelled heavenly. I Started to eat my fried rice oh my super Ono I didn't need to put any ketchup or shoyu on it. All Our food tasted superbservice excellent. When it was time to pay up. Wow super cheap compared to when we eat at zippys or Dennys is pretty expensive. We will definitely be coming back to eat here again. Thank u lawd it wasn't one of their busy days.

  • Jason and Janelle P.

Food was decent but definitely not worth the wait. When you come in, just find the first available seat. They won't sit you themselves. There's only 2 ladies working the joint. But once you sit down with the menu that they give you, be prepared to wait another 15 minutes til you order, get utensils, get drinks, or get any attention of any kind. You can't enjoy coffee as you wait for your food because they serve that after food starts coming out. It appears that they cook food once it's ordered, so they probably see no point in taking your order until they're free to start cooking your order. And most people get take out, so be prepared to wait behind all their orders. But besides all this lack of service which costed them 2 stars for sure, the food was good - kim chee fried rice omlette, hot cakes (which was supposed to have bananas in them because that's what we ordered), chili moco, and a side of bacon (3 pieces you can make at home that costs $3... not worth it). We will not be here again.

This is definitely a hole in the wall restaurant, and accepts only cash for payment. I think there were 4-6 booths and a few tall stools for seating. Meh is the one word I can use to describe my food. I got two blueberry hotcakes. They were mediocre at best...but not the worst ones I've ever had. I'm guessing the food would be great if I was hungover. My husband got the breakfast meal with 2 over easy eggs, a hash brown (patty, not shredded), polish sausage, and rice. My mother-in-law got a hash brown (patty, not shredded) and a BLT. they both enjoyed their food. Service was a little slow, but there were only 3 women working. The restaurant is in a strip mall, next to a laundromat with bars on the windows. This part of town looked a little....dilapidated. We live on Molokai, so any trip to Oahu is focused on eating great food. I'm a bit disappointed that I wasted one of my off-island meals here.

This is a place for the working man, a place Anthony Bordain would love. Tucked in a small dilapidated shopping center, this little gem bustles with regulars popping in to pick up to-go orders, and affectionately thanking "aunty" on the way out. Aunty is an elderly Korean lady masterfully working the flat top and whipping up order after order of her famous fried rice....yes, it's made to order! The ambiance would offend elitists, who would probably turn around at the mere sight if the shopping center. However, my fried rice breakfast was so fantastic that it didn't bother me that I was the only guy in the place without tattoos on my face and neck. Not sure my southern wife would be comfortable eating here but, as a local boy, I will definitely be back with the kids.

I'm not sure what the 4.5 stars is about ... Maybe I came on a bad day but it's been a half hr & I haven't even been greeted. I had to go fetch my own menu. I haven't even ordered or been acknowledge.. Debating on walking out

If I had a choice....I would give them NO STARS!!! Horrible service. Me and my bf went there this morning cuz he wanted to try their fried rice. We went in, no greet, no "we will be right with you", nothing. We sat down...no menu was given and we waited for 10 mins. Nobody serviced us so we left. So as you can see....this review is only based on service. I wouldn't know how their food is cuz we never got a chance.

Great place to eat! They have a big variety of food to choose from and it all comes with a fair price. The staff was really friendly and even offered me kimchee and rice. Seats are limited though, so you may be in for a wait. I think I may have found my new breakfast place!

Went here for the first time (thanks to Yelp) while on vacation in Jan 2012 and have craved the fried rice omelet ever since. Finally we are going back to Oahu this week and we have already planned our visit to this diner. We can't wait!!

This is a small hole in the wall cafe, but the food was good and excellent service.

We enjoyed the fried rice omlet with shrimp so much, we came back a few days later with my wife's family from Singapore. When you can get fried rice that good, ... you really can't miss this place. The neighborhood is a bit sketchy though.

Bought breakfast from Waipahu Café, this morning. I ordered the hambuger steak and my daughter ordered blueberry pancakes and side of hash brown. Terrific "hole in the wall" restaurant. Started to become busy shortly after opening. Phone was ringing and dine in customers started to trickle in. Over all,,,,,,,,,,,, great food. I love homemade hamburgers. I have to try the fried rice next time.

A hole in a wall type of restaurant, run by a cute Asian mama. Decided to go to this place instead as we were heading to Jollibee. Breakfast was superb; we ordered a saimin, corned beef hash omelette, & a famous fried rice omelette. The dishes were made with an old-fashioned feel, very homemade, & full of flavor. I'm glad we discovered this place by accident; definitely will be back for more in the near future! I want to try out what she has for lunch/dinner meals :-)

Tried the kim chee fried rice omelet and it was pretty good. The other selections looked good as well, most dishes are between $6-7 dollars. I'll be back for another try. This place is tiny so seating is limited.

The best fried rice omelet. Cook and waitress are very friendly. Knows their regulars by name. Its a hole in the wall and gets a little full at times but Ive never experienced any problems here. FYI.. They only accept Cash.

I found this place by accident. I meant to go eat at Golden Coin around the corner within the same shopping plaza, but this little diner had its picture menu displayed on its window and looked a lot more appetizing than commercialized filipino food. My favorite is the KimChee fried rice omelette. Its big enough to share, but good enough to keep for yourself. This is a good place to come for a nice hearty, comforting breakfast. They also sell your typical local plate lunches (Loco Moco, etc) and other Korean dishes, but they'll make you breakfast even around lunchtime. Yessss The place looks like a really old school diner. Like maybe the facility itself has been around since the plantation days or something. I like it because its not another one of those chain businesses that are taking over the island. But because it is a small privately owned business, the sweet old korean lady is the one who takes your order, cooks your food, and handles the money. Now that's multi-tasking. I think that's another reason why I like their food. I feel like she cooks it with love. Like how you love your grandma's cooking cz her SECRET ingredient is love. Seating is diner style: Booths and counter. They are open only for certain hours. I know they close at 2pm but they're open early, at least 6am, I believe. Last thing, they're Cash Only. So be sure to make a stop by the ATM first before coming and tasting their ono grindz :) Yay 4 stars for you, Waipahuuuuuuuu cafe

I've going here for quite some time now! When I go here I always buy the spicy pork and the kimchee fried rice omelette! Everything on the menu is available, so you can order anything you want! The only thing is: I wish she opens for dinner!

The entire menu is very reasonably priced. Service is great, there is an old school feel to it which is nice. I'm a huge huge fan of the "Famous Fried Rice Omelet". The few times I've been there, I've tried to order something different but I just couldn't do it. Ha ha.
