I admit. I kinda like Taco Bell. It's cheap and easy, like the...OK, I won't go there. This place, however, NEVER gets the 'fiesta salsa' or 'siesta sauce' or whatever they call it right! My son hates it on his burittos, and we ask that they 86 it, but they keep on putting it on! It's partly a language barrier issue, as often the person working the window isn't that good with the English, and partly a quality of employee issue, as the person working the window is usually incompetent. We'll keep going there, and we'll keep asking that they 86 the 'sauce,' and they'll keep on putting it on, and we'll keep going back. Sometimes convenience trumps service. Ugh!

Alright I realize this is just a Taco Bell and not a 5 star fine dining restaurant but when my order is 2 taco salads no sour cream, extra lettuce, extra beans on one I really do not think it is rocket science. The girl clearly got frustrated with me asking me to repeat it multiple times (drive thru) then without saying anything she yells at a coworker to take my order because I am making it difficult for her. What is going on?!!! Her fellow coworker came took my order no problems. The same girl, who was overly frustrated with my order was also working the register. My order came out to 14.99. I paid $15 in cash and did not receive a receipt or my change. I didn't want to make a big deal over a penny but she didn't say a word to me throughout my entire transaction. She just held her hand out for the money and then turned around after putting it in the register. I was not amused.

Messy Tables, three of them! We were here for 45 min. Approximately, not once did anyone come out and clean up. Plus my mexican pizza was all smashy, which made it hard to eat! When we walked in to order, no one was at the front. The Pizza Hut manager had to call a Taco Bell cashier to the front. Cashier has to be a bit more happy, she didnt even smile. We are Very dissapointed.

Horrible customer service.Cashier Stephanie is far by most the rudest cashier taking an order. .u need to teach your workers what customer service is. All she had to say was the 2 personal pizza for 6.99 doesn't come with a combination it's only 1 topping but no she wants to raise her voice and say so which one do you want especially in front of my young children. She could've politely explained that but no she couldnt. I will never come back to this location especially with a rude employee..I work in the food industry and I know what customer service is about. If I could rate this place a negative I defiantly would..

I think the bad reviews makes the dine in tables empty which is good for me. Stopped by with a friend to have dinner. You go to taco bell for cheap food, what do you expect. The kids working there were nice. They brought what we ordered and it was correct and hot. Lots of people ordering pizzas for pick up here. I don't normally eat Taco Bell, but if I do I wouldn't mind coming to this one if I'm in the area.

I always love taco bell. But this restaurant seems to be really stuck up. We walked to get food one night and arrived before 10. Around 9:50. The restaurant closed at 10, but we were hoping that the guy would let us just order really fast...I mean he still had 10 minutes. He didn't serve us. We had to walk back to the apt

  • Samuel S.

The lady taking my order was an absolute darling! Unfortunately, beyond her double and triple checking my order the people making the food still managed to screw up. Kind of frustrating, but customer service was exceeding expectations.

I'm gonna have to say that going to this location drives me nuts (not in a bad way)! So Toney and I walked up to order a mexican pizza. Low and behold...our peripherals geared us towards pizza hut. So we decided to "X" the taco bell food and order a pizza. Hilarious part was when the worker told us we needed to order at the pizza hut register. So we walked a step to the right. It was the same worker asking us what we wanted....ugh...she already knew. LMAO. This doesn't make me dislike this place...still love it...just found it hilarious. This place is kept neat and I hadn't have any problems at all. Go here and have a good laugh if you need too.

I usually go to this Taco Bell cause it is close to home. And I love a grilled stuff steak burrito. However, the service that I keep receiving - specially the last two times. Im done. I will not be going back. They keep getting my order wrong, and when I try to get it fixed, I have even more issues. It's like I am ordering for a party, I am just ordering for myself. But, I will not be coming back any longer. The service is horrible!

  • Taz M.

Every time I come here, they somehow messnup my order. Ordered chicken rolled tacos asked for sour cream for one order and spicy ranch for the other. Got all spicy ranch when I got home. Previous time (months ago) ordered the doritos tacos and as soon as I sat down, they were soggy already. How do tacos get soggy 3 minutes after you get them?

    (1)
  • Tasia G.

I love it here cuz it's so close to home but jus today they took a little longer to make my Mexican pizza with out bean :/ other than that super friendly :)

The parking lot is a little strange. The entrance to the actual restaurant is Mauka and in the path of the drive thru line. They get tons of drive thru business though as we sat inside and enjoyed our kalua pig nachos.

    (4)
  • Crista P.

This is possibly the worst Taco Bell ever! Parking lot sucks, stalls are too tight for vehicles like our VAN! Although this isn't what I'm complaining about. Service: So no offense or anything to the guy behind the counter but, if you cannot understand me properly I don't think you should be taking an order, he got it completely wrong, didn't add what I asked for extra, he was slurring his words I didn't know if he was okay or what, but yeah he didn't look like he should be working there. Food: We had the two personal pan pizzas, chalupa meal And my Mexican pizza. I ended up with Food poisoning. Throwing up and you know what else is so not the business, this This Taco Bell needs to be cleaned or something I'll never come back to this location.

Saturday 5-2-15 at about 10:15 am This Taco Bell location really dropped the ball on my order. Usually, this Taco Bell does a great job, but it must have had sub-standard employees working today. The Waffle Taco was dripping oil and soggy. Gross! When Velma is working, that is when things are fantastic. Unfortunately, she was there on Saturday or at least she wasn't working the drive-through window. My suggestion is to go to the Taco Bell in Mililani or at least don't ever order the Waffle Taco from Taco Bell on Ukee Street. Make sure Velma is working and then you can be assured that your order will be perfect!

I've tried to give this taco bell a chance because It's close to where I live but this is probably the WORST taco bell I have been to on this island, every time I went there my order was wrong. The first time I asked for a AM crunch wrap with NO jalapeño sauce & my husband got a bacon waffle taco, we get home, open our food up & his waffle taco has half of the egg & bacon missing from one side of the waffle! Its like they put all the egg on one side of the taco & barely put any bacon on it. My husband was more upset at the fact that they didn't even give him syrup. As for my AM crunch wrap, it ended up having a bunch of jalapeño sauce in it! So, today just now I got back from there & my husband & I ordered THE SAME thing because thats what we like to have and AGAIN they did the same exact thing my husbands waffle taco was only half made and my AM crunch wrap had sauce in it. So I was a bit annoyed, I went in and told the lady that I did not want sauce and this was at exactly 10:30am and she says she's sorry which was okay but she also told me they didn't have anymore "Egg" so she asked me if I wanted anything else on the menu and she would refund my money back. So I was like okay sounds good so I ask for a Cheese Pizza and she says "okay" so I wait for it and then she gives me the pizza and says she's not gonna refund me because the pizza costs like a dollar or two more and I'm like whatever already so I just leave because thats fine, I'm not complaining but I get home and it looks like the pizza wasn't even cut. Save your money to get what its worth, Hope this helps.

This location is horrible! Customer service sucks !! You wait too long to be helped at the counter. The workers there talk to loud that customers can hear. The portions for the food sucks , they give too little. I don't recommend this location. At all. Oh and the lobby is a mess with their trash over filling

Horrible service. Wont let a teen who looks young in to order, but will let a mom and baby in. Workers excuse: to young to come in

The drive thru window lady was RUDE! I asked how much is for a crunchy taco? And she keeps say 4 something and said for A taco? Then she started to get louder, just give me my taco and I will not be going back to that place. Horrible drive thru lady. And she is wearing her own home maid apron...WTH

Stopped here for lunch. Not much better than my last visit. Dining room was a mess, and my order of 3 tacos took a little longer than could reasonably be expected. When I finally received my order the food was cold, and the taco shells were stale. And if you're not ordering a pizza, the crew that works on the Pizza Hut side are standing around twiddling their thumbs. Maybe I have unreasonable expectations, based on my experiences working there, I don't know, but I would at least like my tacos to be hot and the shells to be crunchy.

We walk in at 10:40 am for an early lunch. The entire place is a mess! You can tell the night crew didn't clean up and the morning crew didnt check it this morning. I mean every single table had crumbs and napkins and cup lids were scattered about. After placing our medium sized vegetarian pizza order, we asked the boys if we could have a rag to wipe the tables. After no one was coming out, I asked to see the manager. The employee said she would come out. After waiting some more time, an employee came out to wipe the tables down. I asked him to take a look around and take pride in the restaurant. How could this of gone past the manager and other workers when all they had to do was walk through the store before opening the doors!! He apologized, and continued to wipe the tables down. I was not yelling at him, I just wanted the manager to come out and take note of how the store was viewed by customers. We are paying people and the least they could do is make the place presentable. After getting our pizza, we took a bite, and realized that the crust wasnt even cooked all the way through. They had to make a whole new pizza, which came out better and more crunchier. While I was eating, I scanned the restaurant, which was getting pretty full, and my eyes were drawn to the ceiling near the air vents. DISGUSTING!! Dust balls all over. Obviously no one has done a thorough run through of the restaurant for a good cleaning. I dont know how they get away with their health inspection. Did I tell you that the manager never came out!?

  • Ryan R.

Me and my girlfriend came here last night to get two Mexican pizzas and a nacho supreme. The Mexican pizza was delicious, yet the nacho supreme was horrible. My girlfriend instantly spit it out when she tasted it. She decided to go and get her money back. She went in and the management claimed that it was made fresh but still gave her the money back. There was no apology or nothing. We refuse to come back to this taco bell!

I love the Taco Bell food chain. I've been going to Taco Bell since I was a kid. I've only been to the drive-thru at this location. Have never been inside. I'm a fan of the Mexican Pizza, 1/2lb Cheesy Potato Burrito, and Crunchy Taco Supremes. I'll actually eat everything that they have here. The reason I gave this place 2 stars is because I think this place is below par of a Taco Bell. Don't get me wrong, I've never been to a Taco Bell where they totally blew my socks off but this place just lacks the quality of a true Taco Bell. I personally like the Kaneohe Taco Bell just because they really take care of their customers if they screw up. I'm also from Kaneohe but I still remain unbiased. Haha. In more detail to their service, I believe for ALL restaurants that no restaurant should be cleaning up prior to closing. ESPECIALLY a fast food joint. The reason being, is that as a patron in a fast food joint going through the drive-thru, I'm not going to be sitting down and staying for another half hour to consume my food. So there really is no inconvenience to the employees. If your hours say that your open till a certain time, you should remain open and remain servicing customer till that time. Then you clean afterwards. If a business is going to start closing earlier and start cleaning, then state that your closing time is earlier. This Taco Bell in particular still had their "Drive-Thru is Open" sign still lit up and we were there before their closing time, so we went. No one took our order at the order confirmation screen so we drove up to the window. We noticed the MANAGER with her back faced the window already cleaning. She turned around and glanced at us and turned back to continue cleaning. She then came to the window a couple minutes later realizing that we were still there and told us that they were closed. Very disappointing. So we went to Jack-in-the-Box down the road instead. I've never had this problem at Jacks... (that's because they're opened 24 hrs... :P) So that's my experience over there. Final Comments: Quoting the fellow yelper in a previous review of this place... "Sometimes convenience trumps service." That's what I feel. Overall Rating: "BELOW AVERAGE"

Walked in and waited for about 15 mins before someone took our order at the register. They knew we were standing there and they just looked at us. It's like they don't want our money! I had to finally wave someone down and ask for help. How rude! They need more practice with their customer service skills. Not once did they smile either!

About Taco Bell

Taco Bell is a haven for Mexican delicacies such as tacos, quesadillas, burritos, nachos, and other specialty items. Owned by Yum! Brands, Inc. Taco Bell is one of the fastest growing American chains of fast food restaurants. The restaurant operates from 7,072 different locations which are mostly run by independent franchisees and licensees.

The background story of Taco Bell is interesting and inspiring for budding entrepreneurs. The fast-food brand is the brainchild of Glen Bell, who started his first food venture as a hot dog seller in San Bernardino, California. The year was 1948. After witnessing long queues outside a Mexican restaurant called Mitla Café across the street, Bell saw the opportunity and demand for hard-shelled Tacos. He reverse-engineered the recipe and later started selling Tacos and called the venture Taco-Tia.

Later, the name changed from Taco-Tia to El Taco. Eventually, Glen Bell sold the company to his partner and opened the first Taco Bell in Downey in 1962. By 1964, the restaurant also got its first franchise in Torrance. The 100th Taco Bell restaurant was opened by 1965. PepsiCo acquired Taco Bell from Glen Bell in 1978 and the restaurant brand is currently a subsidiary of Yum! Brands which looks after the restaurant business of PepsiCo.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
