I ordered a grilled chicken club sandwich and hubby ordered a bacon cheeseburger. For sides, we shared seasoned fries, boneless Krispy wings and onion rings. I absolutely love their onion rings (batter they use make the onion rings so crispy) and my grilled chicken club was very juicy (not dry at all although it was grilled) and awesome... We'll come back here if we are in the area-

Very nice workers & great customer service. Love being greeted as we enter . Got the Teri burger and my fiance got the super bacon burger. They were both good. Loved how much bacon was in his burger. Also got the chili cheese fries which was normal... Good. As well as the mozarella cheese sticks which wasn't so good... Can tell of course it's the frozen type and the marinara wasn't so flavorful either. Going to come back though to try other items.

pretty good selection, fast food style. Lots of parking, but can ger crowded because of joint shopping center. Love the gyros! And the cheese steaks! Prices are moderate. will be back again!

I ordered the gyro and shrimp and chip basket. It was so yummy. We had great service and they brought the food to our table. We will be coming back.

Finally a great place with a variety of sandwiches, subs, philly cheese steaks, gyros, etc to choose from that is located on this part of the island. I've been wanting to try here since I heard about them opening up. I ordered the Nacho Ordinary which is a philly cheese steak with nacho cheese and onion rings. This was delicious, although the combination of the fillings was awesome, it's the bread that makes it. My girlfriend ordered the Club sub which was also good. I will definitely come here again to try something else

Jeanine (not sure how her name is spelt) is one of the best cashiers in the food industry that I've come around in a long time! Very informative about the menu and very pleasant. She remembered us and welcomed us back during our second visit. Their food is delicious! I've tried their Cheesesteak, Onion Rings,Chicken Wings, Rodeo Burger, Seasoned Fries and their Gyros and can't wait to go back again. Recommended!

Always have outstanding service. The Gyros are pretty good, build your own style. About to partake in the Classic Cheesesteak! I really recommend this place if you haven't tried it, kids love it.

*FIRST TIMER Walked right in, went to the counter. Cashier greeted us. We placed our order. Customer service could have had a little less robotics but I must say she does know her menu. Food came out within 5 minutes of placing our order. I must admit the food is good. We finally have a place to get Gyros close to home. CAUTION: Food came out hot!

4 stars. Yes!!!! I did not expect to get a burger this good. Fresh lettuce, tomato, onions, AWESOME bun, great cheese. You can tell when a place cares about their food. They take the time to have fresh vegetables, 2 kinds of fries, fresh baked buns/breads. Free cups of water with ice. Miami grill has got something going and I am going back to have more. Great service too and they thank you for coming. This place is great!

I've visited 2.5 times, the most recent Friday, July 31, and I don't think I'll be returning. The food is okay, but not worth a trip from Mililani. The staff I encountered acted bored and unable to break from whatever script they were taught. I've had a gyro and wings over the two visits. The half visit? It should've been my second visit, as I was unhappy with the first visit but willing to give them another try while in the area, and I had the same girl behind the register. I placed my order and asked for the restroom to wash my hands ... I was told to go use the one at a neighboring restaurant. I cancelled my order and went to give my business to the place she referred me to for the simple act of washing my hands before eating wings. The only reason for the final visit was because a friend who works nearby had a hankerin' for wings, and I made sure I had no need to visit the privvy before I arrived. This is just another heavily scripted, corporate chain. Hooters at Aloha Tower has better wings.

5 of us hit Miami Grill on a Thursday at 11:30 for lunch. Grilled Chicken Pita. Light pita bread, tons of sliced grilled chicken. Mild, tasty and very filling. Classic Philly Cheesesteak. 12" of meat and cheese. Really like a classic philly. Lots of flavor, a wayyyy better value than Subway. Nacho Burger. The bun was like homemade, really good. Burger was piled high with meat, cheese and fresh onion rings. Delish! Greek Gyro Platter. Yum! Fresh soft pita cut into quarters. Two containers of Greek yogurt sauce, really mild but good- and piles of thinly sliced meat. It was a really nice treat, hard to find gyro. The Works Philly Cheesesteak. Just more of everything you would desire on your plate. Our big eater was very happy. The seasoned fries were perfectly cooked and seasoned- everyone enjoyed them. Surprise favorite was the tiny serving of cole slaw served as a side on the platter- it was amazing! A little hint of heat, not too sweet or too soft. We all had sides and drinks with huge sandwiches for 50 bucks A great bargain and excellent food.

Ok so my first experience here was pretty good. Upon walking in, the restaurant looks new and clean, small and intimate. They have two tvs on opposite sides of the place for your viewing pleasure and a small amount of seating. Tables and chairs on one side and a table with stools on the other. I was greeted upon entering and served with a smile and had a small friendly conversation with the one taking my order. Their menu looks really good and I ordered the classic Philly cheesesteak sandwich. The wait was about 5 min to complete the sandwich and I have to say it was worth it. Costs about $9 and change for a pretty good sized sandwich. Loaded with meat, fresh, hot, etc. I just wished there was more swiss cheese on it because I couldn't get enough of it! Very good when you're hungry. I didn't dine in but I'm sure I would have enjoyed my meal there while watching some sports tv. I'm looking forward to try the rest of the menu!

My friends told me this place opened up recently, so i wanted try it out and i honestly really enjoyed my experience. I came here about two weeks ago. I usually like to ask the employees at any resturant to see what is popular, because if anyone knows whats good, it's the employees. The lovely worker, who sadly wasn't wearing a name tag but wearing a blue shirt and working register said the Work Cheesesteak is the most popular. Even though it was $10, it was absolutely worth it. The sandwich was jam-packed with steak, topped onions with green peppers, mushrooms, lettace, tomatoes, in addition to american and swiss cheese, and toasted. The wait was about 5-10 minutes and when it came, it was nice, hot, and juicy. My first bite had flavors bursting everywhere in my mouth. I really enjoyed every single bite. The sandwich had a perfect crunch to it. If i ever get hungry, i'll come back for seconds or even thirds.

The food was ok. I got the Philly cheesesteak, I'm not sure if it was because I got the works on it but the bread didn't hold up very well. But my girl got the seafood combo and that was really good for a fast food joint. Wasn't to oily and greasy and the calamari was cooked perfectly. Not to rubbery like normal fast food calamari.

  • Alan V.

For all you leeward peeps this place is a must if you're looking to add a favorite joint to your list. Located in the Waipahu town center, this isn't the ideal locale for a mainland franchise to break open in the isles. Rent around the chaotic rail project must be a steal. Rapper Pitbull hit a homerun investing in this chain. The gyro plate was absolutely ono making you develop an urge to try other enticing choices from the unique menu. Better get to this brand new clean spankin' dining room before they get that worn in feel.

This place is super expensive for food that isn't even that great. I could get better burgers at Jack In The Box and McDonalds. The ketchup pump is broken Really disappointed... not coming back. There's not even restrooms inside. I got a little bug in my ice cream. This place is disgusting. Pitbull is ugly anyways. And they should try putting a new video on its always the same stuff on tv..

TL:DR - poor management of inventory might not have what you want. Gyro are great for fast food. Cheap and big portions. Fish sucks. Seasoned and crinkled Fries are soggy. Came in the other day and had a gyro platter and calamari side. The review after that would have been 5 stars. But today is a completely different story. They did not have pita bread or any meat for cheese steaks. Poor management of inventory makes half the menu now unorderable. We got fish and chips. The fish looks nothing like the flakey crisp pictures. They are tiny, flaccid, grease soaked planks that look and tasted like the ones you buy from the freezer of your local grocery. The seasoned fries are soggy. Coleslaw tastes like cabbage soaked in sweet pickle juice with some mayo for color. The gyro I had the other day was good. Plenty of meat, like it should, not like everywhere else in Hawaii. If you get the platter they cut up the pita bread so you can't make it a sandwich. Tzatziki was good and got with the Greek salad which was also fine. The gyro is great with what you expect from fast food gyros. Better than some Greek restaurants on the island. Definitely better portions and cheaper. Calamari is good. Breading is very crunchy and not rubbery. It's definitely pre-made from the freezer to the fryer. Restaurant is very clean and workers seems friendly and good. I don't know why there's a picture of pancakes on the window, don't see anything on the menu.

I'm pretty sure this is the first Miami Grill franchise in Hawaii. It's in a former credit union location so there it isn't a large space - seating space for maybe 30 people in total inside. Quick service style ordering at the counter and open seating so definitely casual. Had a coupon for BOGO Philly cheese steak that was recommended as great by Tiana L. so made a trip out to the end of Waipahu to give it a try. OMG, couldn't believe how good the Philly cheese steak is here. I used to think the best one I could get was from the Triple 777 in Las Vegas but this one is SO much better. The tender and juicy steak was seasoned perfectly without being too salty. Could tell it came right off the grill. I prefer crinkle-cut fries and they have them. Served up golden brown and perfectly crispy. Soft drinks come in small and large fountain cups that are cheerfully refilled on request.

Service = FAST Friendly Staff Food was above average. If you're looking for a higher end fast food place, then you should check them out. They have burgers, philly cheese steaks, wings, GYRO, fish & chips etc.

There is nothing Miami'ish at the Miami Grill. I am not sure if they are trying to be a diner or a sports lounge. Who knows? What I do know is that if I want a cheese-steak I come here. There are already enough places that serve burgers, wings etc, even on this small island. It's hard to find a place that serves a decent cheese-steak. If you want a greasy, cheesy Philly, this is the place. The menu does not resemble any of the cultural influences (Cuban/Haitian) that are found in Miami. The menu ranges from Fish and chips to Gyro's. I don't think they even know what market they are trying to capture. Pitbull Co-owns the Miami grill. I think he needs to focus on the business before its gets "Shut down" like that song he did with Akon. Besides that the place is clean. I'm a fan.

I came here for a quick bite for lunch. I ordered the gyro with a side of fries. Totally fresh ingredients. Loaded with romaine lettuce, onion, and tomato. There's also a yummy tzatziki sauce on it and on the side. Also the pita was so soft and warm and the gyro meat was sliced thin and it was flavorful! The fries were fresh and crispy. Loaded with lots of napkins and ketchup packets it shows they aren't stingy when you're doing take out. The service was also fast and friendly. Love this place and will come back again to try their burgers and Philly cheese steak sandwich.

Pros: friendly employees, clean restaurant, salad as an option for kid's meals instead of fries, free refills on drinks Cons: no restroom, small portions for the price (fish), order was wrong and food does not match the picture. Not even close :/

Yes! You guys brought back the malt vinegar! Awesome. However the staff you had a few months back were more giddy. These folks here look a bit bored. Update --- disappointed .My sub meat was burned and cold... I returned it. To havethem. make me new one but really what happened? The quality when you guys first opened was awesome. Now????? This is twice it had happened to me. The first time was to go. And I was home before I realized it was burned. they get one more strike then I won't be back.... They did make it well second time around and I was happy as I was the first time I walked in :-)

Pretty good place for lunch. The last time I ate at a Miami grill was in NC over 10 yrs ago . I remember it being good. I had the Italian sandwich then. This time I had the gyro which is your standard fast food not from a greek/ Mediterranean restaurant style. It was still good. We went because we had coupons, but will go again without. Boneless buffalo wings were standard. Seasoned fries were crispy and long! That's how you do fries!

5 stars for the friendly staff and service! Food is pretty good and oh em gee they have Gyros. Another great thing they have are desserts- ice cream cones, cheese cake, pie, shakes.

I saw this place holding on site interviews about a month or so back and had been wanting to try it but just never had the time or money to do so. We wanted to eat elsewhere but they didn't open until a later time so we decided to try this place out instead. The inside of the place is very clean. I would hope so not just because I would expect any food establishment to be well kept, but because it's new as well. All of the staff said hello. Even the cooks from the back. That was very nice to see. Looking to my left and right I see tables and booths. Mounted on the walls were tv. One had sports, the other had netflix with cartoons on it. I am very excited to take Abira here :D You have the option of looking at the menu on the wall but they also have a more detailed menu that they offer you to look at. You can get things as is or make it into a combo (2.49). The even give you the option to upgrade your drink to a shake (1.49 more I think?). They don't just serve chocolate, vanilla, or strawberry. Any of the ice creams they have in their chest they can make a shake out of. I got a chocolate this time, next time I will be sure to try a sherbert shake :D We ordered a Gyro pita (6.99) with seasoned fries and a shake, a Rodeo (7.49) burger with seasoned fries and a shake, 10 boneless wings with coleslaw and celery. Hawaiian BBQ sauce and Extra Hot sauce. The order came out pretty fast. The first thing we noticed was that the wings had bone in but we were too hungry to wait for the boneless batch to be made lol. The fries weren't fresh, mine were actually kind of soggy, otherwise they were well seasoned. The coleslaw tasted more of relish than anything else. The Gyro. This one deserves it's own paragraph LOL. I haven't had too many gyros but the ones I did eat were pretty small and bland. This one was bigger and it had a lot of veggies and meat in it. The taste - drools - YUM. It was hearty but not heavy at all. Perfectly balanced. The best Gyro I've had to date. The rest of the food, including the Rodeo burger was alright, it just tasted like it was missing something. But the Gyro (imo) was perfect and I would come back just for that. They take American express! Not that I have it, I just noticed a lot of places not accepting Amex lol. Cash or card, they take it. I think they usually have a radio playing, but it was pretty quiet when I came in. This place is located in the Waipahu Town Center. There is a lot of parking, but due to new stores, there are more people coming to the Center and so finding somewhere to park nearby may be a bit difficult. Overall I rate this a 4 star joint. The staff and Gyro are 5 stars!

I feel soooo lucky having Miami Grill just down the road from where I live! :) Having a Gyro so close to me is just as good as it gets! Miami Grill has a variety of food: pita, sandwiches, and chicken wings (naked or crispy) to choose from. They also have fresh shakes, coz they have the DREYER's ICE CREAM stand in the store... you can ask for sundaes as well. Not to mention their really cool colorful cups and friendly workers!

Very Good Cheesesteak! I had the Nacho with Jalapeños! Yummy! Took a little bit of the food, but worth it. New Hope Leeward has it nice with this right across from their church! Definitely recommend you drop by for a burger, shake, or cheesesteak! Super tasty! Crinkle or seasoned fries, shootz, forgot to mention the Gyros too! Put it on you list as you travel around the island!

"Tonight, I'm a love love you tonight. Give me everything tonight. .." Isn't that how Pitbull's song goes? You're probably wondering what that has to do with this review, but I swear it has relevance. Apparently Pitbull is an equity partner in this establishment. All those slim and sexy girls in his videos definitely do NOT eat here! It's all fried and fatty. The menu is all over the place offering cheese steaks, fried shrimp, gyros, deli sandwiches. I guess it's good to have options. Well, if you wanted something healthier, you could opt for a salad. Maybe that's what Pitbull and all those sexy girls eat. ... The portions are huge! Prices are reasonable. I unknowingly ordered way too much food. Lesson learned. Start small, then go big. There's your first tip. It's ok. The food comes out fast so you don't have to worry about waiting on it if you decide to order more. I ordered two kids corn dog nugget meals and they (my kids) didn't eat half of one together. Ugh I feel the indigestion coming on as I write this review. Pepto please. There's your second tip. Don't eat too much of this fatty stuff. If you do, bring Pepto! Don't get me wrong. It's good, decent, but I don't know how some people can eat this food ALL the time. My gall bladder -less belly can't process all the fat. I ordered the gyro and only ate a quarter of it. That's unusual for me. I also had a taste of the Philly cheese steak which was juicy and smothered in cheese. I ordered a side of cheese sauce for my fries and the girl brings out this big 'ol cup of cheese sauce! Thanks lady! I guess? My arteries will curse you later when they're clogged with plaque. But seriously, the staff was wonderful. .. for fast food, the girls come out and bring the food to your table and may also offer to get you refills on your drinks. The place itself is clean and new with flat screens featuring, you know who as well as whatever else on the other tvs. There is free wifi and although there are no bathrooms around, there is hand sanitizer on the counter. Now I apologize if I got that Pitbull song stuck in your head but I hope my tips help you!

Stopped in this new establishment after church today. The menu has a large selection and the prices are average. Service is actually five stars! The staff is very friendly! Although this is a "counter service" type of establishment, they are not to good to walk your food to your table, help you carry over your items, or come and check if you need anything! They were sweet to give the kids sample ice cream after their meal which of course sold us all on a bowl of ice cream afterwards :) So the food, it was more a 3.5 star. I got the buffalo wings which is more a fast food type chicken. It comes with salad and "seasoned fries." The fries were again a fast good type and not true seasoned fries. Kids also got the kids meal plain wings which again was very much like fast food. The ranch they give for dipping is literally a packet. I may be spoiled as I make homemade ranch and buffalo wings for my family on the regular, but this wasn't a must have or crave again. The ice cream was good, a little high priced. $2.49 for a scoop and an extra $.75 for each topping. Would we return,? Sure...trying something else off the menu or if we want maybe quick and convenient. Again, service is VERY good which will bring us back more than anything!!! :)

First time coming here, Fiancee and I wanted some good burgers that are not fast food and at someplace we haven't been yet. Checked of course on Yelp and saw Miami Grill had some great reviews and decided lets do it! The pictures that other yelpers posted looked delicious and that is what caught my eye. Drove from Kalihi to Waipahu to check this place out but I'm always up for adventure. When I arrived, the menu was straightforward and I immediately knew what I wanted to order. I decided on the Rodeo Burger because I love BBQ and like most rodeo burgers/BBQ would have is onion rings in them! They also had a choice of seasoned or crinkle fries so I went with seasoned because I want flavor. My fiancee wanted a nice charbroiled chicken pita gyro. The service was great and fast and the food was delicious! 5 Stars! The only Miami Grill in Hawaii!

Food came fast, wings good, burger good, fries good, cheese sticks not so good, but service, atmosphere and everything else is great. Maybe we got a bad batch of cheese sticks but they weren't gooey.

Today I entered into Miami grill and the cashier was having a loud conversation with the cooks in the back. She then blankly looked at me without a smile or greeting. I stared back. Finally she gives me a half smile and asks what I would like. Service was quick once I got her attention away from her personal life. Fries were ok, cole slaw was decent, but the fish sticks were soggy, super saturated in dark dirty looking oil. The restaurant was clean and seemed lovely, but the staff and food forced me to give Miami grill 2 stars.

    (2)
  • Danielle V.

It's not really business so I got served quick, the lady helping us was not very friendly which is why I gave 4 stars. I had the boneless chicken wings and I must say that theyre equally or better than buffalo wild wings. In most chicken wings that I eat theyre more breading than chicken but these wings had more chicken which I liked, the chicken wings also had good flavor. I also ordered the grilled chicken and it was pretty good but not great. BUT their fries are the bomb dot com like I wish I had a bucket of their seasoned fries. It's crispy and delicious!

Delicious food and super friendly staff!! Will definitely be frequenting Miami grill more often. ... Great find!

  • John A. N.

Nice and clean place with a pretty good menu. Highly recommend the grilled sandwiches with generous portions. Onion rings were good too. Had the Gryos Platter that was on the dry side. The Chicken Wings were also pretty disappointing. Although the BBQ sauce was on point. Again, stick with the Sandwiches and you should be fine...enjoy

  • Alan W.

I must say the young man working the cashier did his absolute best! While the food tasted okay, I was taken back by what I got for the cost. Not that it was expensive, but what I got looked nothing like the pics I saw posted. I took pictures so you could see what I was served. The $8.99 "original" cheesesteak has a fork next to it for scale. I also ordered a small chili fries for $2.49, has my hand next to it. I think there were about 15 fries, or about 16 cents for each fry. Not sure if it was an off night??? Good luck guys!

Great job on service! The employees are always friendly when I come in and they give great suggestions when customers don't know what to order. They bring the food to your table and also come by to refill drinks. I've had the veggie gyro and the fish and chips platter (2 fish sticks, coleslaw, seasoned fries) and I don't particularly like either of them (maybe I'm not a gyro or fish and chips person?).I had a bite of the chicken gyro platter and now know what I will order next time. The dipping sauce goes perfectly with it and the coleslaw balances the seasonings on the gyro. This eatery definitely adds more variety to the Waipahu Town Shopping Center.Other eateries there are either serve plate lunch or local food (and then there's Subway, which is also strategically adjacent to GNC...hehe), but having Miami Grill there adds to our "what to eat for lunchbreak" options.

This restaurant is super cute, located in a strip mall (parking is kind of tight), but after looking a few times you won't miss the sign. When we went in I noticed how clean it was, flat screen in the back, super friendly staff, and great music. I went ahead and got the Cuban sandwich, I am Hispanic and if a place in Hawaii can hook that up I am all about it! My boyfriend got the Gyro platter and our little one got the fish and chips. After we sat down with our lemonade drinks, the service was quick and the girl brought us our food. Let me just say how delicious that Cuban sandwich was! Perfect amount of everything and awesomely toasty. My boyfriend loved his plate and i definitely approved, especially when it came to that cucumber sauce YUM! Our daughter was devouring the fish, it was nice and crispy. This was our first time there and I am so glad that we always try new places. This is a perfect place if you want something quick and yummy!!!

This Place is Yummerz! The Gyro Fat with Big Pieces of Meat & Fresh Veggies. The Nacho Cheese Steak was Stuffed with Juicy Meat & The Cheese Sauce was smothered on there. We also had the Jalapeño Cheese Bites which was good too!! The Price we paid matched the Quality & Presentation of the Food. Definitely coming back

My family and I wanted to give this place a try because it was different from the other surrounding restaurants in the area. This was our first visit to this establishment. We ordered the strawberry pancakes, local breakfast and the gyro with seasoned fries. I was a bit disappointed overall because for the price I paid, it didn't match up to the quality of the food. Pancakes were super dry and tasteless, as was the thinly sliced pieces of meat that came in the gyro. I would've preferred more sauce to offset it's dryness, but that didn't happen. The local breakfast left me hanging and wasn't worth it's price point. I think the only good thing we had was the seasoned fries, but then again, how can you mess up fries? One month later, we decided to give this place another chance. This time ordering the original Philly cheesesteak with seasoned fries and a charbroiled chicken sandwich. Both sandwiches were more flavorful this time. For an 8 inch Philly cheesesteak at almost $9, I don't think it's worth the price..it was good, but not that good. The hubby had the chicken sandwich, and although it was tasty, again, he was left hanging...it didn't fill him up and he ended up still being hungry after our meal..will we return for a third time? Maybe not. Both our visits left us disappointed and with less cash in our wallets. Thanks, but no thanks.

Came in today for the first time with my mom. Very clean & nice environment. Maybe 5 people eating there at the time. Good for family lunches or dinners. Didn't know what to order since they have a wide variety. so we was staring at the menu for a while. We ended up Ordering 10 pc Krispy chicken wings with seasoned French fries & a char grill Caesar pita. I even asked the girl what seasoned French fries was and she couldn't even explain it. Like really? All she said was it was like curly fries. Okay....Waited for about 5-10 min. When our order was supposedly ready the girl at the counter stared at us with a dumb blank stare. I asked her is that our order? An she handed us the bag. We seen her put fries in the bag an it wasn't crowded so we assumed that was our order. We walked over to the condiments an grabbed what we needed an went home. When we got home, I pulled out the food an discovered that they gave the wrong order. I immediately called and asked to speak to a manager. I spoke to the general manager Allen. I told him my original order & the order I got. He even confirmed with his workers that they sent out the wrong order. He asked if it was just my mom an I, an he said next time bring 4 people or give us 4 of everything. (4meals) he was super apologetic & reassured us that next will be what it should have been. Awesome customer service!! So the order we did receive, which was a Philly cheese steak, seasoned fries, and Caesar salad was really good. It was like a win win situation. But we really wanted to try their wings. But overall, it was a win win situation. Although we got the wrong order, we enjoyed it. An thank you Allen for the great customer service. *Update: we came in to pick up food for the family, sadly Allen wasn't there but Ramzey took great care of us!! Compt. Our whole meal:) never did we receive such great customer service. Will deff. Be returning:) food is awesome and so is their customer service. Thank you again Allen & Ramzey:)

Just was doing my thing picking up some prescription drugs, you know the usual. I was feeling a little hungry with my girl, who was feeling a lot of hungry and getting a little grumpy. So we headed into Miami Grill and I was initially impressed by how nice the inside was and the cleanliness of it. The girl at the front desk was awesome and even helped my indecisive girlfriend complete her somewhat complicated order. I had The Work Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich and she had both grilled and non grilled wings with a Greek salad side. My sandwich was huge and was definitely full of The Works. Plus had some bomb Chipotle BBQ sauce on the side with my fries. All the food was delicious and super reasonably priced especially for Hawaii. I would definitely recommend it for anyone in the area or willing to make the drive! I will be back. Don't you worry Miami Grill. I will be back. Much Mahalo.

Yeah. No I asked for a recommendation (actually i said, what's your signature dish...) and the employee recommended the gyro. It was tasteless! The meat was thin and dry and the whole thing just blah. So annoyed as I had high hopes for this place. The 3 stars is because I liked the clean, well-lit atmosphere and the employees were nice.

Waipahu is a Planation Town so when something new opens up I just gotta jump on it as soon as possible. I think thia restaraunt has to be a really big step up from what Waipahu had to offer. Especially in that shopping center all we had was a Longs, Jeana Wearhouse, Payless, and Subway, oh and a New Hope Church thata way to big. Normally in Waipahu the kind of restaraunts we have are Korean BBQs, and Ethinic food ita nice to get "American Food" thats not McDonalds. Pros: Most of the items on the menu are under $12. The portion sizes are very large as well. My most favorite tip I must say is that the staff is very outgoing, happy and alwaya ready for assistance! They have to be the best staff Ive ever experienced! Cons: The only complaint I have is that there is a very annoying echo that lingers in the building. Like I know it probablly cant be helped but it makes it very hard to hear. There are so many people talking, they have a semi loud radio going, two tvs, and the stoves make noise, now imagine that all going on with a loud echo in cave. Yeah, thats how it sounds. Would I recommend this establishment? For sure, if youre into American Diner fast food then Miami Grill is for you!

I was inspired after I watched the movie The Chef on Netflix. Spoiler Alert: they made cuban sandwiches from Miami.......and they made it look super delicioso!* I threw some culture in this review just now... Anywho....I went to Miami Grill for a Miami Cuban sandwiches! Overall, I say I got my cubano fix! It's a pretty decent size. Maybe 9 inches in length. Crispy bread, ham, kalua pork style meat, pickle, mustard, and cheese? Muy Delicioso! I continue to travel the world and this cubano is not bad at all. Decent and filling! I've tasted better but it is the only place on the leeward side for cubano sandwiches so it'll have to do! Try it out. Pretty tasty! Adios.

I went here with a coworker and my boyfriend on a break from work one evening just to check them out (because I really loved Orange Grove before them and heard Miami Grill on the Mainland was very good). The staff (and Managers!) were exceptionally sweet. Very helpful and efficient; they even remembered me the next time I stopped in out of uniform for lunch which was awesome! I ordered a Calamari basket with seasoned fries and they recommended their all Ice Cream milkshakes. I got double fudge, and man, it was awesome! My meal totaled at an even $13, which for the sizing was very decent. I would recommend maybe bigger straws for the milkshakes seeing as it's thick and all that, but asking for a spoon makes it all the same. Their milkshakes were cheaper than McDonalds' Milkshakes, which is always a plus seeing as that shopping center doesn't have a lot of options for good cold treats besides the walk to Don Quiote. I went back to Miami Grill on another occasion for their Bistro Burger (my boyfriend got the Super Cheeseburger) and it was also just Good ol' awesome. Very good burgers, a little oily, but on a burger that big, I'd expect it to be juicy, not dry; so I didn't mind. My boyfriend usually doesn't get full off of the meal places I choose, and at Miami he did (as did I) and it was a comfortable level (not too much food, not too little). I really like this place, and think they will only improve from here on out. Definitely a spot everyone should check out in Waipahu. The staff and food definitely will have me coming back. ^.*

Came here for the first time for brunch. The ambiance was ok, it has of a sports bar type of feel. As for the food, we ordered the Pancake with strawberries which came out dry and chewy. So right off the bat I was a bit disappointed. We also order the Greek gyro and all I can say is damn!!!! The gyro was soooo dry with just a drizzle of sauce which made everything else that much more dry. Slices of meat was cut thin but it looked like it was coming out of a dehydrator. We also got the Local breakfast which was Portuguese Sausage, eggs and rice for $6.99. Let's put it this way, my daughter makes the same breakfast at home for much less lol. Overall my experience based on the food alone is not a good ine, would I come back? Maybe. Lol.

new location that opened up at Waipahu near longs area. The place looks clean but what disappoints me is that, they don't have a restroom so you have to look somewhere else to use the restroom. The food was okay but this wasn't my first time eating here. First time I came here, i had the rodeo burger (places like this, I always try burgers first...I just love burgers lol) and it was deelish but small. Second time that I came here, i ordered a Fajita Cheesesteak. Not the best tasting thing in the world but its okay. I like it. overall, this place deserves my 3-stars. Not bad, I would come back again...just not the type to go bananas when i do.

We came upon this restaurant accidentally since our actual destination is now permanently closed. But I'm glad it happened that way because this place was fabulous! There is plenty of parking, the staff is so friendly and a large menu to satisfy whatever your hunger craves. The restaurant was so clean! The restaurant was a modern decor and had a few televisions. Miami theme artwork and fast service. We had a variety items as the pictures will show and they were all good! I had a gyro on pita bread. You can get it with chicken or the traditional lamb/beef meat. It was the best gyro I've had in a long time. Some restaurants try and use frozen beef strips instead of using the proper lamb/beef meat. It's just not the same! My son had the original Philly cheese steak sandwich and a side of boneless chicken wings. My hubby had the chicken gyro with a side of chili cheese fries. What's great about going out with family is that we all sample each other's food so I can genuinely tell you the food is great! They also have great desserts such as pies and ice creams. I had a slice of the key lime pie and it was the best! Real lime juice, not the fake green colored filling. My son had the cookies and cream ice cream on a waffle cone. He loved it! Last thing he said to me was "we are definitely coming back here Mom". I said "alrighty then"!

Good old typical haole food! They serve burgers, chicken wings, gyros, chicken fingers, cheesesteaks, fries, etc. I Think Ewa beach with all its haoles/military would have been a better location for Miami grill instead of Waipahu, which is predominantly Filipino. Seems like there's hardly anyone here everytime we come. Price points a bit on the high side. Eventhough the philly cheesesteaks had A LOT of meat, who wants to pay $13 for a meal with fries and a drink? Yeah they always have coupons in the paper, but realistically, without one i wouldn't come here. Customer service is alright, they come and serve you if you dine in. Very clean restaurant.

Wanted to try this place since seeing all the signage around town. I have to say i enjoyed what i tired. I got the krispy chicken wing platter that was $9.99. Thought it may be over priced but actually a great value. You get 10 pieces of good sized chicken wings/drummettes, celery sticks, and fries (seasoned or crinkle, i got seasoned). Chicken was very crispy, seasoned mildly, perfect not to take away from the added sauces. I tried the buffalo sauce - taste like Texas Petes to me, i don't mind. Their season fries was not overly seasoned. I asked for a side of ranch which was just a package type. I also tried the mozzarella sticks. I am a sucker for the old tempura type (not breaded ) so this hit the spot. Now that i know the staff is nice, place is clean, and food is good, i will be back. Looking forward to trying their pitas.

I love gyros but I live on the west side and up until Miami Grill opened in waipahu i had to drive to town to get my gyro fix. I ordered the gyro plate that comes with fries and a drink. Gyro was huge and tasty. The seasoned fries were really good. My dad ordered the cuban sandwich, it was bomb! They have a lotta tasty yet unhealthy fried options. Will be back when I need my weekly indulgence.

The burgers were juicy & yummy. Seasoned fries were nice & a bit crunchy. I had the Teri burger & my sis had the Havana burger that she initially said she would just eat half & ended up eating the whole thing. Good food!

Tried this place out for the first time earlier this week. Solid 3 stars. Whenever I see fish and chips, wings or gyro on a menu...I have to try it. The Gyro Being Their Best here...That Was 4 stars. The wings were a little too soft for my liking, but there were still your average wings. The fish and chips were just alright. They had malt vinegar so that was perfect. Seasons fries were good too. Will come back to try more. The staff was very friendly and helpful, smiling the whole time. ...4 stars to the staff.

Thought we'd give this place a try since we've signs around the area. Didn't eat there, but we ordered takeout. The place itself is nice. Has a nice modern touch from the tables/chairs/walls and even to their POS (point of sale) system- I liked how you could see your order on the screen just to make sure they've got your order correct. There's 2 or 3 tv's and it's pretty chilly in there. They variety of food to choose from. Burgers, sandwiches, salads, & gyros. All affordable. Kids also have a choice of chicken tenders, burger, hotdog, and corn dog which comes with fries (side) and a drink for $4.99. Not a bad deal. We ordered the gyro, fish and chips, and the kids got a burger and a hotdog. Overall the food was good. They also have shakes and ice cream available. Staff was friendly. The cashier was super nice and friendly. When our food was ready she even said to drive home safe. Just really sweet :) We'll definitely come back to try their other items.

A friend and I walked in both as first timers. I stared at the menu pretty hard because I couldn't see and I couldn't decide. So I struck a conversation with those working. They said that the Greek gyros and the philly cheesesteaks were a favorite and the girl trying to take my order also recommended the crispy chicken with chipotle sauce. They all sounded really amazing. I already had an interest to the Greek gyros because well, gyros, right? Both girls working said it was really good and because I was so indecisive, she managed to get me a sample of the lamb to try. That's how she got me to decide on a gyro (which is pronounced like 'euro' doesn't make sense to me). It was really good! It's packed with a lot of meat and the pita bread, ugh, pita bread is always on point. Overall I had a great first time at Miami Grill and definitely coming back for the philly cheesesteak. It's always great to know that the employees enjoy the food that their serving.

After shopping around at the new Seafood City, I saw Miami Grill which is also pretty relatively new location around the corner as well. They have sandwiches, burgers, pitas, gyros, cheese-steaks, fries, and more. For my initial first time visit, I got the chargrilled chicken pita which was pretty good. It was about 5 dollars something just for one but I guess it was pretty worth it and satisfying. I think it would have been better if it came with fries and stuff but I guess it's all good. What I like is that they have a selection of different categories of selections like healthy options and regular options. The little restaurant is pretty visible and you can't really miss it with it's flashy little sign and store-front. They have a few table and seating areas plus a bar style table and seating area as well. It definitely gives off a pretty cool and hip old school meets new school kinda vibe. The staff and customer service is good. When ordering, there's a little tablet screen in front of you where you get actually see what you are ordering and how much it is. I think that is really cool and all stores should have something like that. They also have germ-x sanitizer right in front of the counter which I think all food places should have as well. These guys are pretty much on it in that category. I will for sure have to come back to check out the other foods and even maybe hopefully desserts too. They got milkshakes and stuff and I don't know too many places that have that nowadays haha.

I had an early lunch there today. Place is nice and clean with a partially open kitchen. We ordered the rodeo burger, grilled wings with chipotle BBQ sauce, and a classic Philly cheesesteak sandwich. All the buns are baked fresh daily, you can see it being made. The burger was fantastic! Philly cheesesteak had a lot of cheese and was tasty! Finally the wings were excellent! Great flavor and it came with fries and celery sticks. Overall it was a great experience and I would definitely come back when I am in the area!

Was really craving a good Philly cheesesteak and found this place on yelp. We were greeted with a smile and a friendly staff. The day we went they were having their grand opening. It wasn't to busy. We ordered the original cheesesteak meal our food arrived hot and fresh to our table. It is kind of high 3 meals almost 40 bucks. So be prepared to dish out some cash. The food was good no complaints in that department. This is a fairly new place trying to make it. There is plenty of parking which is always a plus. We also tried a sample of the gyro which was awesome.

First impressions mean everything, and I was honestly not impressed. I ordered a calamari basket with seasoned fries, and a vanilla milkshake. I was completely amused by the amount of food that I received... it is hard to imagine what I mean without a picture... but, you must believe me; I had a small McDonald's size serving of the season fries, and one over-sized spoon full serving of tiny calamari rings... all for 8.99 (may not be accurate pricing). Honestly, just imagine and think for a second if it was worth it... Also, the size of the actual calamari inside of the batter was as thick as a rubber band! I did not pay $8 or whatever for a phony that you call calamari rings... where is the calamari? You could have deep fried an actual rubber band in the batter, and I probably wouldn't have noticed the difference. So, I was left disappointed. The only thing I can imagine coming back for is the milkshakes. I probably will come back to try a sandwich or something in the near future, but never for the calamari.

On my second visit I got a nacho cheeseburger & crinkle cut fries. I was told burgers were flame broiled but 1 bite & I say it was fried. The reason I got a burger was for the broiled taste but got a run of the mill fried burger. No more burgers from here! Fries were good but is the same as anyone selling crinkle fries.

I had never heard of Miami Grill but stopped in one day as I heard they had cheese steaks. 1st time I went I could not decide what to get. It was like they had taken all of my favorite foods and put them on their menu. Ewa needs more variety and Miami Grill is a refreshing jolt of something different on this side of the island. Not only is it different it is delicious! The service has always been fantastic as well. Personal recommendations are the cheese steaks...I prefer "The Works". Gyros are great and season fries for all combos!

Being from Florida, I was excited. So my expectations might be high. Fries were ok, sandwich was kinda drenched in cheese and it was a long wait. But the crispy wings were my favorite wings so far while being on the island.

Terrible first experience. Ordered chicken and received what appeared to be pre-cooked frozen Tyson chicken. Very disappointed..... Had a friend that ordered a slice of cheesecake. It was literally right in the window and it took them about 10 minutes to get it.........

Great customer service! The waitress that took our order was helpful and sweet to my mother. She even took the time to bring my mother a free cup if ice cold water. I like that! When business take the time to notice small things. It made me want to come back just for the service. On the a food note. The cheeseburgers are awesome! I like that their cheeseburgers a juicy, cheesy, and savory! Lol I had the super bacon cheeseburger. VERY DELICIOUS! Thanks Miami Grill!

I wish I ordered one of the sandwiches. The mozzarella sticks were weird tasting and the Krispy wings were not that good. The best part is the bread coming out of the oven. They bake their own buns and the oven is right there by the counter to tempt you. The service was awesome! I will come back and order a cheese steak or burger next time. Like another person said, portions are big. I threw away almost 2/3 of my food. Maybe b/c I didn't like it that much. I probably would have ate more if I tried something else. I still have it 4 stars b/c I believe there are better things in the menu and the service was fabulous.

We found this place by chance and it did not disappoint! It was a nice break from all the hawaiian food we've had while on vacation. We had the works Philly cheesesteak which was delicious and full of meat and cheese, and the gyro platter which came with a side salad and delicious seasoned fries.

The food was ok, but the service was top shape. It was my first time there and the cashier was very patient. The restaurant setting itself was very calm and clean. I don't know if I would go back because my cheese steak wasn't as good as I wanted it to be for $10. Plus you have to upgrade to a combo for almost $3 more to include fries and a drink. The fries and the drink were good though :)

  • D. A.

Had a ham and cheese sandwich, chili cheese fries, and a drink. The sandwich was good on a fresh roll. I'd prefer the lettuce be only Iceberg or Romaine, but don't think that was an option. I liked the chili on the fries, and drink refills are free. They serve Dreyers ice cream and I enjoyed a scoop of mint chip for dessert. This place opened very recently, and got busy while I was there, so word seems to be spreading. I plan to return and sample more of their menu. Most of their seating is inside, though there's also a table or two around the corner outside. A sign said "cash only tonight", suggesting they'll accept credit cards soon.

Nice selection of fast food meals. The Naked wings extra hot were a 6 out of 10. Cooked nice but not very spicy. My wife got the boneless with the famous sauce and we gave them a 2 out of 10. They were extremely dry from overlooking and no flavor at all,

I am a fan of Pit Bull and knowing he is part owner of the Miami Grill company I decided to go in and have breakfast. I had the strawberry pancakes and breakfast fajita and both were surprisingly good. The fajita bread was nice toasty but soft and the bacon was nicely cooked. I will come back again for breakfast and will try lunch later. Oh, the customer service is excellent. The staff is so friendly and helpful.

Miami Grill is located in the shipping complex where HawaiiUSA and Koa Pancake House is located. The sign is big, bright and colorful that it just grabs your attention. Since we were running errands in the area, my son and I decided to give this place a try. Nothing disappointed me. We couldn't make up our minds so we got several items. Original Philly cheesesteak and Classic Philly sandwiches. Original had the onions and the classic had the onions and mushrooms. Both were on hoagie rolls which made them good sized grinds. Meat was flavored well and bread held up on ride home. Krispy fried chicken wings were seasoned through and light, crispy batter. There were many different sauces to choose from for the wings. We got the chipotle and Hawaiian bbq. Both were tasty. BUT, the star of the lunch was my Gyro platter. Came with 2 choices of fries, rice, salad or slaw. I got crinkle fries and slaw. The slaw was slightly tangy and fresh. 4 pita triangles and perfectly done lamb with a ramekin of tzatziki (greek spread). With a name like Miami Grill I expected Cuban or ethnic type of food. Totally surprised of the selection and onoliciousness! Everyone enjoyed everything and filled up. we had a couple of wings left over for snacking later! Will be back to try the rest of the menu!

WOW!!! THE BEST GYRO SANDWICH ON THE ISLAND!!! Being from Chicago, we have an area (for those of you who are from there know) called Greek Town. I heard they made Gyro Sandwiches and I decided to give it a try. Boy was I impressed. I believed I had a "mouth-gasim". Totally fresh and hearty. Usually wanna be gyro sandwiches are skimpy but this one was just right. I will come here again for sure.

Heard about this place a while ago. Finally getting a chance to try it out. Menu ranges from sandwiches, pitas, burgers to wings, pancakes, ice cream and seafood. I chose the RODEO BURGER. My sister got the CORN DOG NUGGET kids meal. Prices are okay. Taking a little long to receive our order but it's all good. Space is pretty big, looks clean. The workers seem nice enough. Burger is on the oily side but tastes pretty good

This establishment is giving much needed life into a stifled food area. A lot of great choices to choose from. Definitely seeing Miami Grill blowing up into other cities soon sub's, Chicken wings, burgers, shakes, etc! They seem to be making great improvements in service from Day 1.. a must try if your in Waipahu!

  • C. M.

There is abundance of items on the menu. The staff are unclear what are their signature menu items. They also lack a clear description of the tastes to the names of sauces. What makes one chipotle? It's a sweet sauce, really? I thought it was a more smoky chile? What makes a sauces Hawaiian BBQ? They need more product awareness and more communication skills beyond the adjectives, sweet, good, sour. Otherwise, limit your selections if employees cannot distinguish the difference between them.

Cool new diner in Waipahu specializing in gyros, burgers, and hot sandwiches. They have a rotating meat skewer and bread oven, something you don't see too much of here on Oahu. I tried the gyro and chicken pitas and they are pretty good, with tender, flavorful meats and fresh vegetables in a soft, thick pita. The pitas are on the thicker, pillow-y side, and have a nice chew to them. I got a side order of cheese fries and wasn't really impressed with those. The fries were of the frozen "Ore-Ida" type, and I'll skip those next time. My buddy had the fried shrimp basket with fries and he was a little disappointed because there were only five pieces of shrimp and too many fries in comparison. The staff is friendly, if a little slow on the cashier side, and it wasn't clear how much the beverages were (they had an ice cream bar, but no prices on that either), but beyond that, I'd return if I was in the mood for a pita.

I'll start off with the only bright side of the trip the Miami Cuban sandwich it was very good and the bread was very soft. To the bad for a Salad, a burger, the Cuban, and 2 orders of fries it took 25 minutes. Then I had to go in because the burger had mayo (which I requested without) and one order of chilli fries had cheese on them (lactose intolerant) the fries where also very water logged as if they set out before being dropped in. I am going to give it another shot but as of right now I was not impressed.

It's easy to place your order unless you want to pay with an American Express or Discover cards. Apparently, they don't accept those cards even though their order screen says they do. Check your order thoroughly, because not a single order came out correctly while we were here. Caesar dressing for salad is more like Italian dressing. The menu is extensive with a lot of variety. The kid's menu is great. $4.99 for a main, fries or salad, a drink and a small container of m&m's. We'll be back.

I've never at hear before, so this establishment was something new to me. Miami Grill is located at the Waipahu Town Shopping Center near the credit union. They serve a lot of things from pancakes during breakfast, to burgers and subs. One the things that surprised me the most was the environment. The staff was very friendly and cheery upon entering. It was a nice atmosphere that made me want to be there. Inside was nice. It was very up to date and clean. The prices of the food was reasonable. As for the food, it was average. I ordered the bistro burger and that came with 2 patties, grilled onion, mushrooms, and a sauce. It came at a price of about $7.50. It wasn't something new. It tasted like a regular burger from any other fast food place. As the Oreo Milkshake I ordered, it cost $4 dollars and it wasn't worth it. It was below average/wasn't to my preference. Compared to Teddy's Bigger Burger, I like Miami Grill for their price and hospitality, but I preferred Teddy's food better, I felt Teddy's had a better quality. I wouldn't recommend this place. Although the service was great, the food could've been better.

Was pleasantly surprised in the food choices. I am very happy they serve gyros. Not bad. The cheesesteak was good. Finally we have more choices than just plate lunches. Cheeseburger was not so good. Very thin Patty. But with so many choices it's OK. Even dessert and ice cream / milkshakes. Yum. Prices are good. Welcome to the neighborhood.

I had to try this new restaurant, something new besides fast or ethnic food. So, on opening night, not too hungry, just a bite to try their food. Ordered the chili hot dog, grilled chicken salad, and seafood basket. My review: - Chili Dog: Should use a regular hot dog-type bun. The bun was very chewy; chili, small portion, I mean it did not even fill the bun. - Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad: Chicken was ok at but too hot when placed on salad, wilted the romaine lettuce, which by the way was all top green leaves, no hearts! Those top green leaves does not make a Caesar salad! - Seafood Basket: Fish, Calamari, Shrimp are pre-breaded frozen type, it was not appetizing and very greasy. Just my opinion. I'll return to try something else on the menu...

I have tried this place three times so far and the gyro platter has been my favorite so far. At $9.99 a platter you get a heaping stack of gyro meat, choices of sides (I get the Greek salad and seasoned fries), pita bread and yogurt sauce. My bf has previously tried the rodeo burger with fries and loved it. Tonight we went to get some dinner and I got my usual gyro platter while my bf tried the buffalo chicken platter. He stated it's not as spicy as he wanted it but it was still pretty tasty. Service was good and the girls who work there are smiley and friendly...and one of the girls came by with a tray of wet wipes to wipe your hands after eating which was a sweet gesture.

My husband and I tried Miami Grill for the first time, today. Unlike a previous review, the place was clean. Like other reviews, I agree that the workers are pleasant, helpful and welcoming. While standing in line, a worker brought us some gyro meat samples with their special sauce. Not sure how that sauce is made, but coupled with the tender gyro meat, the word delicious almost doesn't do it justice. Immediately, we both decided to have the gyro pita. Served on moist, thick pita bread, the gyro was stuffed with tender thinly sliced gyro meat, but not too much to gross you out; just enough to fill you up. Chopped lettuce and finely diced onions are included with the special, tasty sauce - looks like ranch dressing, but tastes like heaven. The gyro pita is a good size for a big eater like me (I eat more than many men). The bottom line is that the food was tasty; the amount, substantial; I enjoyed my lunch; was happy with the service I received; and would definitely recommend this place to others. I'll be purchasing more from Miami Grill in the future. Five stars for the gyro pita, service, ambiance and amount of food served.

Nice and clean probably cause just opened. Ordered Philly Cheese with everything. Was ok. The bread couldn't hold everything together. I think the sandwich was falling apart before they served me cause had all kine veggies in the basket under the fries. The seasoned fries were good.

This place is great! The milkshakes are thick and creamy. The staff is friendly and courteous. Its counter service but if its not too busy they will bring food out to you. I had the gyro and it was delicious and my boys had the seafood with fries and was tasty. My husband had the fish and chips and was happy. Its nice not to have the typical food fare such as teri meats with mac salad and rice, etc... Their menu had different sandwiches such as Philly cheesesteak which we will be back for at another time. Oh, I had their Cuban sandwich the other day and it was yummy! I'm happy they are here and I hope they stay for a long while. Definitely a place to go and try. :)

Typically, going into a new place you expect a few kinks... Luckily for the Miami Grill owner, they don't have much to worry about. Overall our experience was great, but if my boyfriends shake came with our meal rather than when we were half way through with it, it would've been excellent! I got the gyro platter, only $9.99 and delicious, comes with two sides. My only note on that would be, if you order coleslaw as one of your sides like I did, ask for it on the side as the coleslaw sauce will run into your pita bread making it soggy. My boyfriend got the bacon cheeseburger. That was super good, looked fresh when it came out. But my only note on that would be to have a larger portion for the sides. He maybe got 4 large onion rings with 3 little ones as his side which barely covered his plate. Besides those notes, there's really nothing else they can do to improve - except of course having a bathroom closer than mcdonalds :p

I came here and we ordered the mozzarella sticks, 10 piece boneless wings tossed in chipotle and the gyro platter (which my husband had) I honestly feel like the mozzarella sticks were froZen because when they brought them out they seemed as if they were warmed up no friend. The cheese inside wasn't melted but sill thick. (I would maybe understand if it was busy and they had a bunch of people but the place was empty and only had us and another person) the wings ohhh the wings were not good. They were over breaded and the sauce tastes nothing like chipotle sauce. I had several pieces that were more breeding than chicken it was not good at all. The sauce had no flavor except sweet that's all. My husband had the gyro platter when he said he enjoyed. He said the meat was a little over peppered but it was ok. Lesson don't order the mozzarella sticks or the boneless wings you will be very very disappointed. The 2 stars are only for the restaurant being clean and timely with cooking food. I also have it 2 stars because the gyro platter! Step up your game Miami Grill, Miami would definitely not be proud of you!!!

As soon as we walked in we were greeted by Ramsey and immediately began helping us with their very large menu. So many options it was hard to choose. Eventually I settled with a Philly Cheesesteak. When my food came out I noticed the cheese was missing and when I went to the counter to ask for cheese the cook (Alan) with no hesitation began making me a whole new sandwich. He combined the original sandwich with another plus a pound of cheese. I wish I would've took pictures but I was so hungry. Ramsey the greeter and "order taker" came by to check on us as well. When we were leaving we chatted with Alan and Ramsey and they were very understanding and polite. I haven't had customer service like this in a long time.

Hello ! Been reading some of the reviews, what Maimi Grill you went too.. Went there twice, and service was poor , so was the food. Pancakes were microwaved, I just wonder what else they microwave. Management needs to step it up, if they plan to stay around.

Friendly professional staff. Food is outstanding. If you want a grill to go for any meal, then this is the place you want to come, whether by yourself or with the whole family. I bring friends, family and guests whenever we get the chance.

This place is pretty clean really good food, and great friendly service. The only reason I gave four stars is I learned the owners keep the tips and the staff see none of it. These cheap bastards should be embarrassed and ashamed of themselves. I will certainly second guess supporting a business that does not support their employees. Shame on you!

Finally they're opened!! after watching the construction going on for months, its finally opened. We tried the gyro, mushroom burger and philly cheesesteak, all was great, still working on the service, kind of slow, but the food was well worth the wait. They have all kinds of food... chicken, fish, shrimp, calamari, and of course their philly cheesesteaks, you can also get it with chicken. Can't wait to go through their whole menu

Been seeing them renovate orange grove into this place. Decided to try them out for lunch. Place was clean & not too busy (I'm guessing because they just opened). Cashier Ariel was friendly, & we decided to go with their Philly Cheesesteak which seemed to be their priority dish. I got "the works" which had mushrooms, bell peppers, onions, Swiss cheese on steak. I turned it into a combo adding on seasoned fries with a drink. I LOVE the fries, super fresh. As well as the cheesesteak itself, might fresh! Although for my preference, it was too much meat and I couldn't finish the whole sandwich (maybe because I went crazy on the fries) but very big portion for the average eater. A lot to choose from the menu but I don't think they have anything different to what we typically have here in Hawaii so I don't think I'll be coming back anytime soon again or recommending it to my friends or family. No offense but they are located next to a few places i would personally choose rather than this place. Our bill was about 25 bucks for two Philly cheesesteak combos. No special ordering and that might turn a lot of customers away because you could actually feed yourself or others a little more with that amount else where or next door. Overall, they're not bad but not to die for. Everyone should definitely give this place a try though.

We enjoyed our meal here. Had the cheesesteak sandwich, gyros, seasoned fries and shake. Multigrain bun was soft and fresh. Would recommend this place to others. Nice change of pace in Waipahu!
