Now I usually don't leave reviews for fast food restaurants but I grew up going to this jack in the box location: in waipio. They've always been consistent and have been my go to spot when I am hungry, in a rush and don't have time to cook. A local braddah named Bryson took my order tonight. He was friendly, spoke english ^-^, and was very helpful in helping me decide on my order. He even noticed that I didn't order anything to drink and offered me a water to go. He was a good example of how customer service should be.

I like jack in the box food. Walked into the waipio location at 12:30 in the afternoon on a saturday. One cashier, 5 people in line. She took my order quickly, but then I waited 9 minutes for my food. Food was good, but this was definitely NOT fast food.

Went to try out new spicy chicken sandwich, didn't check my order and when I home I had a crappy cheaper chicken sandwich.... Waste!

Super covenient location considering where I live, but the entrance and exit to the parking lot is right in front of continuously heavy traffic stopped at a STOP sign. That makes getting in and out a chore. They have real steep parking spots right in front of the door to the restaurant, I'm guessing to keep the elderly out. Food is what you'd expect from Jack-In-The-Box, and the prices the same. It's convenient, and that's why most of us eat there. Service is ah...usually slow, but truth be told, McDonald's down the street isn't much faster. I thought fast food was supposed to be fast...open mouth, poor food in!!??

Worst jack in the box ever. My daughter wanted fries and the sourdough chicken sandwich. When we get home to eat my daughter tells me they gave the wrong order. So now I have an upset kid and food that she doesn't even eat (pattie wedges and two orders of tacos). What a ripe off! On top of everything else no one picks up the phone! I want so kind of credit back for the difference!!!

Still don't understand how they can charge .25 for just one sauce??? Whatever! How hard is it to understand "no mustard"? That's the yellowish substance that sometimes goes on a burger. I, however, do not like mustard and wanted it without it. But of course , they added mustard. Also they ran out of bread for their new sandwich so had to sub with sour sough. Seems like someone doesn't know how to run a business or maybe doesn't care. So sad. And... please get workers that can at least speak a little English. You get one star for the good fruit punch.

The best thing about "Jack in the Box" is of course the fact that they are open 24 hours. The food is decent, but the menu has changed quite a bit. One upsetting menu change for me was that they no longer serve "Mozzarella Sticks". Yah I'm one of those people that come home late and say "I want cheese sticks at 2am! The prices did raise slightly as well, but that is expected everywhere as time passes. The bright side is their new "Munchie Meals" that offer a deluxe sandwich or nuggets with "halfsie" fries, two tacos, and a drink for $7.00. Still a good place for all those late night munchies!

Something awkward happened to me at this Jack In The Box, so you may want to stick around. But first, I want to wish you the reader a bigger and better new year than the last. But especially the gorgeous and intelligent yelper Michelle MichRoc M. whose reviews leaves much to be imagined. Idk how you put up with me this year, but in some sick way I think that's cool so thanks. Before I get into the awkwardness of it all, the things I find appealing about this Jack In The Box are that they don't try and act all modern and hip like the new McDonalds. It's the same place it was when I first came here. "If it works, we keep it working" should be the slogan for this location. Also, I really like their outdoor tables when the weather is nice. However, I had a very interesting conversation with an employee that may change the tides at this Jack In The Box. We were having a company meeting, and I wanted water. I go over to the employee at the register to get a cup for water and forgot that my microphone was on. The employee than asked me if I wanted something to eat. I told him no because I was short on money. Then he asked what kind of job I had, and I told him I farm. Here's the rest of the conversation on an open mic. youtube.com/watch?v=EjkY… Now I don't know whether this employee was demonizing my career or genuinely caring for my livelihood. So tell me how you feel, e-mail me and tell me, was this employee being rude or he generally cared about my future. I may give more stars if your comments prove otherwise.

The staff are pretty cool, especially Cindy, the location is clean and the dining room is a vast hangout area of awesome great for board game nights. The food here usually comes out hot and tasting great, defiantly better than most of the other locations I've been to and I'll even go so far as to say that this is my favorite location for this restaurant out of the ones that I've been to. But this morning I literally watched as an employee dropped a cup on the floor then PUT. IT. BACK. INTO. THE. CUP. STACK. Like, seriously!? That's not even just gross that's a blatant health violation, and to make matters worse the manager was standing right next to her when she did it, I don't know if she just wasn't paying attention or just didn't care but it has me questioning the base sanitation levels of this location now. Also, if anyone from Jack In The Box is reading this, the person who dropped the cup wasn't Cindy, Cindy has an awesome early morning attitude. It was one of the other 2 girls.

Always check your bag! 3 incidents in the past two months, had errors. Always check the screen of the items you ordered. I received a sandwich wheni ordered a salad. I was also missing ingredients in one of my sandwiches. My kid loves their teriyaki chicken bowls, so unfortunately I still have to come here at times.

Worse experience ordering EVER! I had to repeat myself over five time into the little intercom and they still couldn't get my order correct. So i then drove up to the window with the hope that they could understand me but still a big no i even said it slowly and repeated it over five times at the window. Order still wrong. If i could give them zero stars i would too bad yelp doesn't have that option.

There aren't enough words to describe how much I think this place sucks. Okay, I love Jack In The Box, but this location beyond sucks, it sucks so hard it blows. Yea, you read that right. Upon going throuh the drive through they ask if we would like to try a new combo meal, I say yes, large please, regular fries, with a coke. Then I finish my order. Everything on the screen is right. I pull forward. They give us our food and say "thanks come again!". I say "just waiting on our drinks" the lady at the window says "oh, I didn't give them to you?", I say "uhhh....nope". Our drinks are given to us. Driving away we notice we have all curly fries, when we clearly ordered one regular fry. No big deal I say, I can eat curly fries, it's all good, not worth going in and having them change it. We get home, and they gave me a jumbo jack, when I ordered something else that THEY ASKED me if I wanted to try. FAIL. Okay, so this is two mess ups, now I'm upset. So my wife then says "hey look what I found", she was feeding fries to our son and found a nice long hair in the fry box! YEA! This Jack In The Box location just hit FAIL x3. FAIL. FAIL. FAIL. So needless to say, while I will continue to eat Jack In The Box in the future, because not all locations suck, I just won't be eating at this one!

I usually come here late at night via drive through. I can't believe all the other negative reviews because I've always been happy with the service and food here. The drive through is fast. There could be a line with people fulfilling their late night munchies, but it doesn't take too long. I usually get a breakfast jack on sourdough bread with buttermilk and a small curly fries. It's an amazing combo. They never forget to sub the bread for sourdough or putting the buttermilk in the bag. I don't usually eat fast food, but I do like Jacks every once and a while!

They never messed up my order, but I hear about order mess ups from my friends all the time. I always go at night... super late... so I can only base my experience on the late night service. I never like their food but I'm getting tired of other fast food joints so it's been a recent go-to of mine. Dont really like anything.... tastes super processed -_- I dont' know why people are in love with their tacos... taste like cardboard to me. their wait time at night is too long...

There were two ladies taking orders at the speed of a turtle. They did not seem to understand what the two gentlemen in front of me wanted so everyone in line (another man in front of me and another behind me) had to wait an extra ten minutes. I was starving. There was only one register open. Finally, the ladies realized that there were more people in line so one of the two ladies opened another line. I was next in line by this time but she waved over the guy behind me instead. He realized she was incorrect and let me go first. I ordered an ultimate cheeseburger and sweet potato fries and a jr. bacon cheeseburger. She read it back to me. I gave her a $20. She opened her drawer and needed change. She asked the cashier next to her for change for a $10 bill. It took her 3 minutes to count all the ones she was given to make sure she was not shorted any ones. It was annoying that she could not count past seven without having to start all over. We waited another ten minutes for our food. The staff seemed unprepared. They put the wrong items on people's trays and served those who ordered last, first. This one gentleman was so upset to have had to wait 20 minutes for a taco that he demanded a refund. His taco came out and the lady asked him if he still wanted it. He was angry so he said no and wanted his money back. She picked up his taco and right in front of us, threw it away. I thought it was disrespectful and rude of her to throw it away in front of him being that he was already so angry. It took her five minutes to refund him and he stormed out. It ruined the atmosphere for the rest of us. When my order was ready, I opened my sandwiches to check if they were correct but there was a teri burger that I didn't order. I looked on the receipt and I saw that it was on there. Maybe she pressed the wrong button even though she repeated it back to me correctly. I did not bother to ask her to fix it since I was already annoyed and starving. Perhaps if the managers were more assertive to their staff and came to supervise what was going on more often rather than talk to the other manager non stop. This Jack in the Box has a drive thru and when ever I go to the drive thru I always get what I want without having to wait half a day for my order. Maybe if the employees working the dining section had the same drive to keep the pace going as those in the drive thru, their customers may not be so angry in the future.

For some reason...I recalled the Sourdough jack was way better tasting than the one I had here...I don't recall the exact day that I came here; it was back in August.... But in anycase. I always get the sourdough jack meal from Jack-in-the-box, with curly fries and fruit punch..however, this time I got just the sandwich and loaded baked potato wedges...It was good. I just felt something was missing...or it didn't quite taste that right... The service I got here was good; service with a smile. I went through the drive through and didn't have to wait to long. And my food was still hot when I got home. Maybe my taste for my favorite burger has changed...it just wasn't quite what it used to be... #Yelp 365 Challenge - 108/365

The Jack-in-the-Box food chain is also a favorite of mine. This location is typical of a Jacks. Nothing special and nothing horrible. The inside looks maintained and the drive-thru isn't too long of a wait. After a good work out at CORP across the street, you can annul the calories burned with a tasty, unhealthy meal at Jacks. The only problem I have with this location and I guess at multiple Jack locations is that there's sometimes a language barrier between the patron and the employee taking the order. So you have to repeat yourself multiple times. This is just something that I just laugh at. No biggie for me. One of my friends tried ordering the Jumbaco meal but they kept telling him that they don't have that. I guess they don't watch their own commercials. We had to resort to the Jumbaco's alias called the Jumbo Deal instead... It's kinda mean, but a good laugh. JUMBACO! JUMBACO! JUMBACO! Go watch the commercial on youtube if you don't know what I'm talking about. My favorites over here are the really big chicken sandwich, extreme sausage sandwich, mini churros, and sourdough jack. Sourdough breakfast jack is good as well. Final Comments: Whenever I'm in the mood for a quick, cheap deal. Jack's is on the list. Overall Rating: "AVERAGE" Your average, typical Jack-in-the-Box. Great food, great prices, and they won't make it till you order it... supposedly...

Cheap eats and open late... This is the reason why dj's get fat... Right now my fav is the Really Big Chicken Sandwich combo, it's under $5 and it's not bad. It's not the best, and it's definitely not good for you, but at it's price point and availability it's pretty attractive... Especially if you've had a bit to drink and coming home from the club, or getting off work late and short on cash... I haven't had any problems with my orders at this location in a long time, although I do find my self occasionally having to repeat myself 2-3 times, that never bothers me enough to stop coming back. Cheaper than Zippy's with the same hours plus a drive-through makes this place a winner for me! =0D

Dropped by for a quick bite on a Saturday night. Drive thru looked pretty busy so we parked and went inside. Only one other customer in front of us. His order took over 5 minutes. The manager was on the phone talking story. She was so loud we all knew it was not a work related call. After the only other customer paid for his order, the cashier left leaving only the manager at the front (still on the phone). I was getting irritated and just looked at the manager hoping she'd get off the phone and take our order, but she kept on talking. I couldn't wait any longer, and said "this is bs, I ain't waiting any longer". You think that would have an effect on the manager? No, she was talking so loud she probably didn't hear me, and she just let us walk out the door. What do you say Mr. Box?

I come here about 2 to 3 times a week with my girlfriend. It's really convenient for us. We have had a bit of mistakes here and there but nothing too bad. I come here for the ultimate cheeseburger and the new jumbo breakfast platter. Overall it is a good choice for a quick drive-through in the area.

Horrible. I go here on occasions, and they mess up here and there. Tonight though was the worst. Nothing's more irritating than a rambling person who won't let you speak. All I wanted was the Jumbo Jack with cheese. As I tried to tell her without pickles and onions, she wouldn't let me say it. Instead it was "is that a medium or large?" "do you want the 2 tacos deal" and i said "no i dont want two tacos".. "Did you want a sweet tea with that?" No i want a coke. Then I had to interrupt her to tell her without pickles and cheese, and she goes "yes sir i'll get to that, but I have to know is it with cheese or not?" Of course it's with cheese, it's the jumbo jack with cheese!! So then we finally get our order....and there's two tacos in the bag..go figure. But oh wait, it gets better...there's no cheese!! SMH
