Located in one of Wahiawa's shopping centers near Foodland. There is a lot of parking of during lunch or right before dinner it can get really packed! So I'm probably not going to be the best reviewer for all the different types of sushi they offer because... I don't eat raw fish. Yup. No raw fish. Why am I eating here you ask? Because I like the california roll... lol! Ooh, california roll WITHOUT mayo! Yup, that's all I eat hehe! But for some reason... they make the california roll SO GOOD here! I know it's nothing special... just the rice, nori, imitation crab, cucumber, and avocado.. but it just tastes so damn good here! Better than genki and literally half the price! Sorry that I can't offer more help with the other types of items sold here... but just know that the california roll is damn good!

This little sushi shop is located in the corner of Wahiawa Shopping Center next to Foodland. Beware! If you're craving for sushi make sure you have cash on hand because this place is cash only. Service here is always fast n friendly, and there's even a little tv to watch while you wait for your order. They carry the standard assortment of makin sushi, nigiri sushi, and hand rolls. My favorites are the ahi poke nigiri and the phoenix roll! The phoenix roll is a scrumptious combination of two of my favorites... California roll & spicy ahi. Soooo good that I can eat the whole order (6 pieces) by myself & still wish I had more. Whoever thought of this is a genius!!

Came in real quick to grab a light lunch. It was alright nothing too special about this place that makes me want to go back. I would if i am in the area and craving sushi otherwise i would eat somewhere else or opt for a diff sushi spot.

If you want quick and quality this is the place. This is the spot I usually hit if I don't feel like dealing with a lot of people. Love the tiger maki and oishi roll. Bubble drinks are good too

Food was fantastic, restaurant was clean. The only down thing is they only accept cash, had to walk around a while to try and find ATM. I'll definitely be coming back.

This place used to be my favorite place to grind da sushi, but now the quantity is getting slimmer. The rice isnt as packed as before. However, i still go there for the ahi poke sushi...awesome stuff

It was ok sushi. I really didn't like how the imitation crab wasn't mixed with the mayo. It was like a big glob of mayo on top of a piece of infatuation crab. And they use a lot of rice. I prefer ninja sushi over here. Trust me, it's worth the extra drive to ninja sushi.

The only reason I'm even giving it 3 stars is because I love sushi so much. Don't go there to eat. I would only do take out and even then it's not that great. If your craving some sushi and it's close by.. It works.

This place is awesome. They have great sushi at super cheap prices. If you want sushi for a party do it through sushi man, they have insane party platters for ridiculously cheap. Did I mention how good their sushi is? I did but I'll say it again, it's great! Everytime I come here I get the ahi poke nigiri, medium heat with no mayo...soooooo good! Ahh spicy ahi poke nigiri, how do I love thee? Let me count the ways 1, 2, 3, a googleplex. I love it. If you like boil your eyebrows off heat get it spicy, if you just like spicy get it medium, if you just want delicious poke flavor get it mild. Any way you decide to order it, it's gonna rock. Go get some today! I did and it was most ono. Be sure to bring cash because this place is cash only. If you forget, the foodland right next door has an ATM so its all good! GO NOW!!!

Synopsis: For a quick bite in the area, this is the place to go. For what you can get for your buck is quite a lot. I definitely recommend the spicy salmon roll. Or something on the cheaper end. You just have to look at the deals. You can also have a choice of spicy, or spicier, although the spiciest has no significant difference (to me). Recently, however, I have decided to just go to Foodland for poke due to budgeting issues. Environment: A very small area with wooden tables and chairs. There is a television. It is quite dark inside, which makes it not as welcoming. Overall, not a place where you stay-in-dine. People: When I come here for lunch, it's this un-happy guy with glasses whom speaks in a low voice. A huge turn off, but I am not here looking for a dork to date! Gay or straight? I don't know yet. Food: Reasonable in comparison with pricing/calories. But as mentioned before, now I would rather get poke from Foodland for cheaper. Do I really need to have more carbs in my diet? Cost: To get you full, less than 10 bucks.

Very good sushi and the price is even better! My husband and I shared a Deluxe Family Platter which was $22 for this huge platter with a very good variety of different sushis. My husband and I both can eat and usually never get full from sushi but this platter filled us both up. Usually we'd be spending more close to $50 for enough sushi to fill us. The atmosphere is blah. You park in a crammed parking lot and chances are you'll see someone who will make you nervous but its worth stopping and picking it up to go. The girl working inside was also very friendly and helpful.

Stopped in yesterday for a quick bite on our return from the North Shore. I was pleasantly surprised at how good the sushi was. I wasn't too impressed by the atmosphere. But the restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly.

I cannot get enough of Sushi Man. I eat at this restaurant at least once a week. My favorite is the sushi-roll lunch, which also comes with miso soup and a tasty salad for $10. The servers are friendly.
