I love the garlic steak (or chicken) and the korean bbq chicken! i have been meaning to try their kalbi plate. Very large portions and a great variety. Do not recommend the seafood though, it does not taste fresh and, well you are on an island so there is always somewhere bear by to get good shrimp. Also just had the Kalbi beef, very thin (not thick ribs like you see in the store, and teh sauce taste like Korean BBQ), I will not get the Kalbi ribs again. But I will go back for garlic steak and chicken.

At work after a OPT Koko Head climb and we were trying to decide on where to go for lunch. A few ideas were thrown around and the Blazin Steaks came up and I jumped at the opportunity to go. The only other Blazin Steaks that I've been to is the one on Kapiolani across from 24 Hour Fitness and it was pretty decent and fair priced. Going in the place is huge with enough seating for about 30 + people, however, some of the tables were unstable. There is a pretty decent sized flat screen tv which can be seen from any seat in the restaurant. The food was okay, but I really enjoyed the fact that they served Brown Rice (I'm a health nut)! It was a decent sized meal and the drinks were .50 for a refill (regardless of the size), which isn't too bad. Overall, not a bad place and wasn't crowded at all being prime lunch time. One of the food preparers had a pretty sexy tattoo on both hips which could be seen, so a little eye candy for the fellas wasn't a bad thing either. Ill go again, just for the brown rice when I need it and not having to wait forever for a meal.

This is by far the best Blazin steaks I have been too and when cooked by the right chef creates a taste sensation that takes your breath away... I've eaten at a lot of Blazin steaks and this is my favorite

Iam not one to complain but the owner of this place needs to be fair to customers. I ordered a pupu style steak order just for pupus. All steak nothing else. The young girl charged me $14 and some change for a plate and they gave me what looked like a coffee cup of steak in the smallest foam plate you can get I was shocked! I spoke with the manager and she told me her boss tells her to give that size portion. They made no attempt to fix the situation just a too bad for you attitude. I own a business with many employees and try hard to teach customer service to them. It starts from the top. I will never walk into that place again and will tell all my employees and friends about my unfortunate experience there.

As much as I love steak & I was a previous blazin steaks employee I must say this blazin steak is not the pick of the litter. I've had my good experiences her but my last visit will be my last until they sanitize. As I sat to eat my steak and shrimp plate ($10.50, 5 pieces of shrimp & 5 Oz steak) I noticed a hair along side one of my steak pieces. I did what all grossed out customers would do & gave it back. The worker gladly excepted it nack & made a new one. I was very happy with the ways she handled situation up until I found another piece of hair in the newly served steak. -_- not the business. How the hell can there be pieces of hair in 2 different plates. Gross. I'll give them 1 stars for customer service but no more for the lack of sanitation & when I showed the manager the hair she didn't apologize or acknowledge it. She just walked away. How sad!

My friend ate here at Eat the Street. The line was really long and we patiently waited for an $8 steak plate. When we got closer, I started hearing them explain to customers they were out of rice... Ok. I don't really get when places here run out of rice, but I guess it happens. So they were subbing fried noodles instead. We get up there to order a steak plate and say ok to the subbed noodles since we don't even have a choice... And the total was $12. $4 extra for fried noodles that I don't have a choice in subbing?? I thought it was ridiculous and I questioned the cashier about it but we had been waiting so long that my friend just wanted to get her food. We could see the staff cooking and it just looked really frazzled. And the cashier could not stand to look us in the eye or talk at a normal volume level which was really off putting. And then we see the plate made and stand there and watch as they pass the plate from worker to worker, wondering when they were going to give it to us. We were worried that maybe they had run out of steak. But they actually made the wrong plate and gave us a combo plate. I could see the cashier trying to figure out what to do but she ended up giving it to us even though I think she didn't want to. I also saw another woman in line get PISSED about the fact that her $14 combo plate with noodles and no rice came with 5 pieces of shrimp and I totally agree. Shitty customer service, out of rice, and overcharging is really not the way to keep a business going. They should have put a sign up saying they were out of rice because I saw so many people wait in line for a while and then leave when they found out there was no rice. The steak had good flavor but I don't think I would recommend this place to anyone based off the experience at the eat the street.

Eaten at "eat the street" booth and it was awful! Should of yelp before eating here...we were wondering why they were smudging the rice down and not keeping it the round shape....it was cause they ran out of rice! When we got our food it was so NOT worth it! There was NO salad (no sign nor did they mention that there was no salad) there was only like 7 pieces of steak and 5 pieces of shrimp. $14 for that plate?! Not worth it, not worth it to try it at the location.

I seen the negative reviews and cannot believe those people came to the same place as me. Seems mighty suspect. I frequent here a lot because they're consistent. Let me first start by saying I LOVE STEAK!!! I am a total meatatarian and would die if I could no longer eat meat. So boy was I excited that little ole Wahiawa was getting a Blazin Steaks!!! But... the first time I ate here I was really disappointed. I ordered the standard steak plate but the steak tasted like.... chicken?! Dude, I know lots of things are supposed to "taste like chicken" but I KNOW steak isn't one of them. My guess is that they didn't clean the grill and the steak picked up the flavor of whatever they had cooked on there before. I had to drown my steak in ketchup. :( I was super sad. I decided to give the place a second chance and it was better the second time around. The steak tasted like steak this time and not chicken, but it was a little underseasoned in my opinion. Maybe if i try it again and it keeps getting better i'll give it a better rating.

  • Isela W.

It's pretty good but they don't give enough steak. :( lots of rice but definitely not enough meat. Would go back and probably pay extra for the large plate.

Mmmm steak... one of my faves to eat! I don't do too much "take out" steak... but every one in a great while when I get that craving... I'll hit up the usual suspects: Blue Water Grill in Mililani Foodland in Mililani (Wednesdays) Blazin Steaks (Wahiawa) This location has been renovated a couple times... located in the Wahiawa shopping center which also houses Longs Drugs. This location is next to GNC and near CPB. Tons of parking (gets busy during peak hours; lunch/dinner, but there's always a spot... you may just have to walk. The menu is a decent size for a place with only "steaks" in the title of the restaurant. They sell steak, yes, but also chicken, fish, shrimp, salads, and even a hamburger steak and loco moco. Preparation for each item comes in a variety of ways, and they do have combo plates for those indecisive folk (such as myself) who can't make up your mind and want a little of both worlds. Another plus is that they offer brown rice... for those tryna eat healthier or load up on fiber and "good" carbs... Some plates come in "regular" or "large" and they have "mini" portions on some plates. Prices are reasonable to any other plate lunch joint and the portions are a nice size for what you pay. The food is cooked to order (at least for my visit) and it tasted delish! Nice staff, clean restaurant, and lots of indoor seating available.

  • Tiani B.

This is probably my fav Blazin' location...The menu has such a wide variety that my biggest problem is figuring out what I will have! This location is nice and neat and that also goes for their workers too!! the food always looks mouth watering and tastes just as great as it looks! I am trying a new thing with each visit and so far I love what I've tasted! I have had nothing but pleasant experiences here and surely anticipate my next visit!

Dear sweet lord above, I will never come back again. }:( Food is decent if you can't find anything else, but of all things the place is supposed to be a presentable, clean, and PROFESSIONAL EATING ESTABLISHMENT. Sorry if I am expecting a bit more, but it made me want to to just go back out the door if not a nagging hungry little brother. Not to nagg on people's life choices or to offend people but, the cashier took 10 mins to saunter back to the counter after she came back from the back rooms. In that time by the counter was a play pen for a child, said child was sitting a wailing in said crib, while their sibling was running amok inside said food establishment with a bag of puff Cheetos spilling it when she almost fell over and climbed over the back couches. I guess the mother of the children (and employee) went over and started scolding both children in front of customers in the middle of taking their order. You work at a eating establishment, not a flippen day care center *not sorry. There were people eating at the time and 4 of the tables had not been wiped up of residual steak sauce, salad dressings, rice etc. so enjoy that with your rubber textured "steak plate." I found it completely odd at the same time to have random cheap claw machine games in the front by the manini sized television (i swear it was igger last time) and gambling machines in the back. Please pick a theme, and no it does not bring in "extra money" it takes up space and does not add to the appeal of your establishment. Finally for the love of anything you deem is holy put some flippen pants on. Those scraps of cloths does not constitute as shorts that go to mid-thigh. I would be beneficial to the customers that are eating to not be exposed to your body, we came for the food not a show.

I've been here before & didn't like it. But since new owner/management stepped in, I decided to give it another try. When I walked in, I was impressed with the menu selection. Lots of different food they have to offer. Then I hear a baby cry, WTH? Apparently, an employee brings her baby to work & has a playpen set up. She picks up her child, & starts toting her child around while she cooks!!! Is this legal or even safe??? I guess this employee noticed me staring & she decides to put her child back into playpen. Baby starts to cry & scream. Hmmm...I feel uncomfortable. As I sit here waiting for my order, I notice another employee chewing her gum like there's no tomorrow. Mind you, she is the one prepping the plates. Gross!!! What if her spit is getting on my food. I didn't even start eating my food yet I'm very disgusted... I guess I won't be coming back AGAIN!

Rip off.. what more do i have to say. We order 2 steak & shrimp plates, 1 regular steak plate, and a shrimp alfredo. First off i have no clue why they would ask how we want our steak done if they are all going to be cooked well done. The amount they put on the plate is very skimpy. They could give a little more considering it was a large plate... it makes me wonder what a small/regular plate would look like. I guess it will be a little while before we give them another shot.

  • Michael M.

Ordered a 12oz steak plate, all toss salad. I figured I would of had more toss salad in there compared to a regular steak plate with rice and toss salad. But it was almost the same size. Anyways steaks were really greasy. Did not look or taste like real steak. Don't really know what I was eating. I don't think I'll be coming back here anymore.

This place started off with lots of promise...... But recently have not been so good! When they first opened the food, service, portions n price were very good! Lately the service is unfriendly and often cooked wrong. Tried calling for take out to avoid a wait but the phone was busy the entire time!! Sometimes portions vary and the prices have increased. They used to give a discount for orders after 5pm but the lady has never given me my discount, not sure if they still do it!!

This place used to be called Blazin Steaks but they broke away and are now called A & G Steaks. Their menu is larger than a Blazin Steaks since the serve a limited breakfast as well as Kalua Pig lunch plates. The taste is better than Blazin Steaks because they grill each order to order instead of using steam tables. Pretty good place for a plate lunch/dinner.

How sad!
