Sorry, We are updating this restaurant menu details.

The Korean BBQ burger is so yummy! My husband got the double island burger with extra cheese and I upgraded to garlic fries. Their burgers are really good. Definitely going there again. I want to try the steak and shrimp next and I'll have to get their loco moco just to see how it stacks up against others. Also the cashier, Ray, was so sweet.

My wife and I split the combo steak and chicken plate. We order the steak rare and it was served rare. It was tender and seasoned well. The chicken, however, was a bit dry. For the side, we had the garlic fries. The fries were the best part of the meal. Super garlicky, hot and delicious. Ambiance is casual and the place is clean. Service was "Par for the course". The prices are reasonable and the servings sizes are average. A decent value.

This is a great new plate lunch spot in Mililani. Located next to Just Tacos, where the old Sanrio Surprise store used to be in the Mililani Town Center. I tried the large steak and shrimp plate. The portion size was great, and I liked the add on options such as eggs, mushrooms, or onions. The garlic fries were awesome as well! I docked down one star, because when I phoned in my order it was a 25 minute wait. By the time I had finished ordering, I figured--alright, I'll just wait the 25 minutes and kill time in the shopping center. It took a little bit over 25 minutes. It didn't look that busy inside, so I was surprised at why the wait was 25 minutes. In addition, the salad was a little sad looking. It was wilted down iceberg lettuce that didn't seem too fresh. Regardless of the wait, I think I would still definitely return. I'll probably try the garlic steak next time. :)

Our favorite restaurant to eat at the town center. Awesome service and delicious food !!! Their burgers are sooooo good. The garlic fries are to die for !!!! Don't forget to get a side of Korean sauce. The prices are awesome. We eat here at least 2 times a week!!

Never get tired of the food here. The staff is always so cheerful. We always get the steak plate & of course the extra crispy fries is always a good choice. The eating area is not that big but we always take it out any way so it works good for us.

Park by Long's in Mililani Town Center, walk just past Cookie Corner on your right towards the center of the shopping center, sniff the intoxicating Cookie Corner aroma, be tempted to skip lunch/dinner and just gorge on cookies....mmm cookies... and you'll see Aloha Island tucked between a Chinese joint and Just Tacos. If you go past Just Tacos, you've gone too far. It's a very small plate lunch/burger joint with only approximately 4 four tops and maybe 4 two top tables. If you try to go at their peak times (lunch noon to 2ish or dinner 6pm-830ish on the weekdays), you'll be sure to wait around for awhile. It gets pretty busy, and don't bother trying to call in your order because there are usually only 2 people working; one up front taking orders and the other in the back cooking the food. You could try pestering them and allow the phone will ring off the hook, but unless they get a second to walk away from their stations, it might be a loss cause. Although they don't answer their phone, the service is still friendly and accommodating once you get there. The place itself is clean with a condiment bar supplied with hand sanitize gel. Sodas cost 72 cents for refills (a bit pricey, so just get the large and drink slow!) The Korean burger is pretty tasty with it's sweet tangy sauce, juicy meat patty, crispy shredded lettuce, and a smear of mayo. The only thing I'd like to see change is the sesame seed bun. It's dry and doesn't soak up the juices from the patty and sauce well. Although the sauce is sweet, I'd still like to see it on a sweet roll or brioche. There is a good amount of thinly sliced, well seasoned beef on the plate steak combo with the garlic shrimp. They offer a side of A-1 which is a nice added touch just in case the seasoning isn't enough for you. The salad greens were pretty fresh for 8 in evening. The shrimp also had just enough garlic and butter. The garlic fries are crispy with huge chucks of buttery garlic a top of crinkle fries (I love crinkle fries!) It is also a nice option that they offer brown rice as well as more salad in lieu of a starch which is always good for the low carb diner. Then again, if you're a cookie addict like me, it doesn't matter because you'll have to walk past Cookie Corner on the way back to your car.

These guys are recently detached from the Blazin' Steaks brand (after BS's bankruptcy filing) but they've retained the steak from their previous life, and added a few menu items (burgers, etc). My boy had their garlic steak and said it was great: just like before. I had the spicy BBQ chicken plate; it was good, and for less than $8.00, a pretty good deal nowadays. Didn't like the "Refills $ .72" sign on the soda dispenser, especially in light of how watered down my Mountain Dew was, but they probably get a lot of MHS kids in there after school, taking advantage, so maybe that's minor, but I think it sends the wrong message to the rest of us. Also didn't like the credit card receipt that forced me to rewrite the total, because it gave me the "opportunity" to tip for counter service... a pet peeve of mine, I guess. Overall, limited selection and didn't feel the aloha, but good plate lunches at reasonable prices; we'll be back!

Very good spicy barbecue chicken, the meat was pink in the middle without asking but that's the way I like. The meat also had tiny bite of spices which gave it more taste, yum. Choice of brown and white rice, I got brown and it was perfectly cooked in my opinion and of course some greens with thousand island suace(choices come with Italian and ranch). Meal was great. Workers even nicer. Meal came out to 12.07 sooooo good stuff. Definitely coming back. Simple but good. The inside is small, 4 table for 4people and 2tables for 2 people but also there is outside seating. So please try it out.

So far we tried: Korean burger - pretty good Western burger - pretty good Garlic fries - yummy Spicy bbq chicken - don't get it Garlic steak - very good I like this place. Garlic fries are yummy and their steak is tasty. Also the prices are reasonable. Garlic steak plate is $8.59 for regular and $12.59 for large. They let you sub fries for rice for an up charge and they also have brown rice. Plates also come with tossed greens. The only complaints I have is that they are skimpy on the fries sometimes. Also, a big one is that they cannot get the steak to be medium rare or medium, something about the top that they cook it on. So if you're expecting your meat to be red, it won't be. But don't worry, it still tastes good.

Located in the Mililani Town Center, tucked between the Korean restaurant and Just Tacos. Prices are reasonable here and service is always fast and friendly. I like that they slice their steak thin and it is tasty without being overly salty. Tables are always cleaned/wiped down, which is nice. They also offer a choice of brown or white rice, which is a great option! Order at the register then have a seat and they'll call you when your order is up. They charge for refills on soda and if you need an extra plate.

Amazing food for a very good price!! The steak and shrimp is my favorite. This place has become a family favorite for sure.

  • Tammy S.

This place was formerly blazing steaks. They now offer more variety of foods including burgers and plate lunches...i do believe they still have steak plates as well. The garlic fries here are amazing! Sometimes my husband and I will spontaneously crave them while we take our daughter walking to the shopping center. The owner is super friendly, always happy and always has a smile on his face. Even if he's towards the back of the restaurant cooking or prepping he'll make the effort to greet you. .....don't forget those garlic fries!!!

  • Mili-Lani D.

One star for cleanliness. I don't know why ppl rave about this place, the steak tastes just like the Times, Foodland and Blazing Steaks steaks. Nothing special, overly spiced too much garlic even for a garlic lover like me. It's not great but not awful either, just Meh. The supermarket's cooked steaks are cheaper, what's the diff?

    (2)
  • Mitchell A.

Price is very reasonable with option of large or regular plates. Great menu selection from Seafood, Poultry, Steaks, and Sandwiches. Very clean restaurant and the staff is awesome. BBQ chicken is my favorite.

I accidentally got this restaurant confused with another one (in Maui), so I am editing this post. My family (5 of us) loved the food here! We were driving back to Waikiki after doing some sightseeing, got hungry, and Yelp led us to this place (thank goodness)! We ordered chicken BBQ plates - spicy and regular - they were so yummy! Perfectly cooked, a little burned grill sweetness - just the way we like it. The macaroni salad was refreshing, wonderful combo to the chicken BBQ and white rice. My sis ordered the beef BBQ and it also came out yummy. They make the food to order, so it comes out fresh and hot. We will be back here again when we visit Oahu!

Got some dinner with my friend here today. Nice looking place inside and out. The lady at the register was very welcoming and helpful with what was really good on the menu. I got the steak and shrimp plate with brown rice. Really good and just enough to fill me up.

    (5)
  • Sophia D.

This place still rocks!! The staff is just as courteous and friendly as last time. They have even expanded their menu. It is so clean here you could eat off the floor ( but I wouldn't recommend it!! )

  • Aly T.

"I guess the size 20 font sign wasn't good enough for everyone to see that we close at 8pm tonight in observance of Presidents' Day." ...maybe you can throw a tantrum after we leave and not over salt and garlic the food you're serving. At least the girl at the front was nice.

  • Tellia W.

I've been here twice and been pretty impressed with the food. It doesn't blow me away but its very good for a plate lunch style joint.

  • Raymond L.

Ordered Island Burger which is pictured on their menu with cheese, onions and mushrooms. I specifically asked the cashier taking my order if these toppings were already included. She said yes. So after a 15 min wait, I take my first bite and none of those things are on the burger. I go back in and speak with a manager(possibly the owner) and tell him what happened. He tells me he can added these, but I have to pay for them! So, your employee tells me something incorrect and I have to pay extra?? I will never come back here because that is just plain bad business. BTW, the meat is tasteless and obviously not fresh ground beef. No stars for these buttholes. Kiss my yellow ass.

I have always walked by this place and wonder what it was like and I finally decided to try it! And boy oh boy was it amazing!!! The restaurant is extremely clean and very modern, the staff were very friendly and kind, and the food was amazing!! I had the regular plate BBQ chicken with brown rice and salad , the BBQ was to die for I fell in love with it. My husband had the garlic steak large plate which he said was good but by the end it was a bit too much of a garlic taste for him. I was highly impressed with this place and will definitely be back to have more of that chicken. Try it, it won't disappoint!

    (5)
  • Kasey B.

I've been here roughly 4 times and I have not been disappointed yet. I've had 2 different burgers and the BBQ chicken. The portions are great, especially for the price! I highly recommend this place for someone wanting to eat a good burger without a high price.

Great place, in all of my experiences here the food has been exactly how I want it. Restaurant is very clean as is the kitchen ( visable from the counter). The best part about this place is the staff, go there enough and they'll start remembering who you are and what you order. Coming in feels more like talking among friends rather than customer to employee. Much better than the Blazing Steaks that was there.

Wish I would of known about this place earlier in my visit here to the North Shore ...EXCELLENT Garlic shrimp and steak plate!!!! Great and friendly service tonight!!!! Next trip I will be back for sure THANK YOU

BBQ burger and garlic fries were on point. The eating area was clean and the staff was super nice, definitely going to eat here more.

  • Jessica Y.

I really wanted to like this place because there were so many good reviews. Should have read the less good ones more carefully. The burger was not very good. Flavor was lacking, seems to be a frozen patty, the single is too small for the bun it is served in which tasted a bit stale. The onions in mine were very stringy which was not appetizing at all. The garlic fries were ok but not as good as I was expecting. The steak and shrimp plate was good but not enough to make me want to come back. The service was excellent however, which is why three stars, and if I am in the area again maybe I will give a go at a different menu item but I will not be going out of my way to come back.

Great food, great price. Garlic fries were on! Steak juicy and flavorful. Friendly staff was a treat!

  • Dine L.

My family likes the steak plate here, it's a generous portion and comes with different sauces. I've only had the shrimp plate and salmon plate, the shrimp was ok, but I didn't care for the salmon. The pieces of salmon were so small for the price, and it could have used more flavor. I still want to try more things from the menu, but so far not impressed.

I love, love, love, LOVE this place! I mean it honestly has to be one of my favorite places in Mililani. The place is clean and in a pretty convenient spot. The owners have to be the friendliest people on the planet. Every time someone walks in they greet them by name and treat them with a smile. Their steak plates are amazing~The orders are always perfect or they take it back and fix it for you. They've got quite a large variety of plates and burgers and everything always tastes delicious. I highly recommend paying Aloha Island Grill a visit. You definitely leave full and happy :)

My husband and I had just arrived on the island and didn't care where we ate, we were super hungry. As we were driving, I pulled up yelp to see what was around us when I stumbled upon this little gem. We walked past it a couple of times before we realized this was the spot we were looking for. We ordered the 'mix any two' combo with brown rice. We chose bbq chicken and steak. The combo also came with a small lettuce mix salad. It was the perfect amount of food for the both of us to share and the taste did NOT disappoint! By the time we were done eating we had looked at each other and said, "that hit the spot! What a great find!"

  • Kayla S.

Came here 2 days in a row for the same order. Shrimp plate with extra 6 pieces shrimp. They make it perfect and made fast! Cant go wrong. The guy that worked today and yesterday recognized me by my order before i even came in. Friendly guy, and food was made on the right time that was promised. 5 stars for aloha grill!

  • Dawn M.

Burgers were Ok. ... Could have used more flavor. You can tell is a frozen Patty. But can't complain... its only $6.99 & it comes with fries. Spicy BBQ chicken was good, toss salad looks like it's out of a bag.

    (3)
  • Lisa D.

What a disappointment. I had the All salad with steak and the salad (premixed) was old with brown lettuce pieces. The steak is cut so thinly and the amount is so little. 2 stars only for service. This will be my last time.

  • Tia S.

This is going to my first of many reviews. I've been to a lot of places and thought about leaving a review, but coming to this place finally made me make a yelp account and leave a review. Let me tell you this place is awesome. My boyfriend and I were hungry after watching a movie. And came across this small restaurant. The price is worth the food. Good and quality plates here. And I'm all about service and their service is ON POINT! Very friendly, and thorough on taking my order. I'm coming back again for sure. I recommend this place to anyone who's in the area and is looking for a good place to eat.

This a solid steak and burger joint in Mililani town center. They took over the old blazing steaks stall and I daresay improved on everything from the decor to the quality of food. I like their spicy BBQ chicken for $7.49 which includes two scoops white or brown rice and tossed romaine and dressing on the side if you like. The brown rice is moist and good. The chicken is tender and not overcooked. The menu is limited for a plate lunch place but the prices are reasonable and the service is good.

    (3)
  • Mokihana W.

So much food for a decent price! The staff is always friendly. Their spicy bbq chicken is worth every penny and the location is perfect. My husband and I stop here sometimes before a movie or just walking around the town center. I recommend of course the Spicy BBQ anything, the steak and shrimp plate or the salmon.

  • Ninoshka A.

This just became my favorite place! Had the garlic steak with brown rice reg size. Omg so much food, and the steak was done to perfection. My sis had the shrimp and garlic and it was tasty too! This a little gem in Miliani. We will be back for sure!!!

    (5)
  • Ululani C.

Yum yum yum!!! This place reminds me of Blazin Steaks...but WAY better. Food quality and amount of the price you pay for is well- worth it. Environment is clean and nice. It's hidden inside of Mililani shopping center.

  • Justina R.

If I had the option to give this place no stars I so would. The owner is a complete rude smart ass. He likes to be very technical and not just make things easy and quick. Food is ok. But the owner just ruined it completely.

  • Mariah T.

Easy to miss because it's stashed in a corner but the food is delicious and service is wonderful. Must try the garlic fries! So good! I had the Korean BBQ burger and it is filled with amazing flavors. Highly recommend this place.

    (5)
  • Sandie I.

Went there for lunch. Friendly service. I tried the Korean bbq burger ($6.99 with fries) with garlic fries ($.50 extra). Very tasty and I like that they use shredded lettuce in the burger so that when you bite into the burger the whole leaf doesn't cone out. My husband had the combo steak and chicken plate and he's a heavy situ Eater and didn't finish it!

    (4)
  • Joei G.

I need to try their other menu items. But what I normally order is the steak plate. It's so so. I think if I tried the other menu items I might give a better review. So I will definitely come back to try more things. Other than the food the service is really good. Everyone is down to earth and friendly. They like chatting and asking on how they are doing. They are really nice people. So here is a temporary review. But I do encourage everyone to try this place yourself. This used to be a Blazin Steaks but they changed up stuff and added more menu items. I do like the choice of adding eggs to my steak. So yah, I like this place. I just need to eat more of their stuff and determine if I should add another star. I think I will but we will see shortly.

  • Jennifer S.

Tried this place after my son's soccer game in Mililani today and was not disappointed! We ordered the hickory BBQ burger, steak plate, BBQ chicken plate and garlic fries. All the items were very good. We got the Korean sauce for the steak plate. I'm glad we got 2 since the flavor perfectly complemented the grilled tender pieces of steak and I also used it on the BBQ chicken plate too! The burger had a good flavor to it and the garlic fries were great...crispy and not soggy. The service was fast and friendly!

Good place but can't seem to call in a takeout order. Don't list a phone number if you can't or won't answer it!

  • Elle U.

I love this place! Their BBQ chicken is the best! Brown rice and tossed salad with thousand island in the side? Omg! I'm in heaven! Not only is the food excellent, but the service is just as good! When they say 'thank you', they really mean it! I think it's the owners that man the front and the grill, but they really take pride in their product and service! We loved the food so much, we ordered take out for a meeting! Thank you so much!!!!

just re-discovered this place, and whoah!!! the korean bbq burger and garlic fries are to die for..!!!!!!!! so ono!!!! and the staff was so friendly and considerate... i'm going to go back again and again whenever i get a bbq burger and garlic fry craving... !!!!!!!

This place replaced Blazin Steaks. But don't be too excited. Both Aloha Island Grill and Blazin Steaks belong to the same owner so the food is the same, so is the setup of the restaurant. The shop is a tad less industrial looking than Blazin Steak. Still the same self serving condiment station, soda machine. The menu is on LCD TV. A single cashier. Everything points to speed and customer turnover. The menu is smaller than most plate lunch places. The core is plate lunch featuring BBQ (as in grilled, not slow barbeque) items like chicken, steak, hamburger and hamburger on a bun. Since they are willing to cook eggs, the menu include derivatives such as Loco Moco. Side order egg(s) is pricey but not unexpected. I ordered a mix plate with BBQ chicken and steak. Judging by the speed, everything was pre cooked. The chicken was a bit dry, probably been done and waiting for a bit. The flavor was okay, not bad but nothing special. The steak was exactly the same as Blazin Steak except not over cooked. There is still pink. Flavor was fair for grilled steak. It is unfortunate that it still comes in a non-descriptive pile. Judging by the fat content, it wasn't round but it ain't no ribeye either. The plate comes with a huge amount of rice and a good size serving of green salad topped with regular commercial dressing. At $11, it is a bit steep. As of this writing, they've only been opened a week. So I'll give them another visit next time I walked by. But in this day and age, not having anything special but asking for a premium price is a prescription for poor business.

Both times I've been here, I've had friends take me and swear by the food here. In my most recent experience I went with a good friend of mine who must have been a regular at the location because the employee at the register had her named and order memorized to the last sauce! I was quite impressed. I was also very hungry so I put my trust into the woman at the register who was very friendly and helped me choose a steak & ahi plate. My steak was juicy and ahi was tender with a bed if salad and white rice. A delicious wholesome meal, no complaints. They even brought out a wasabi based house sauce they wanted me to try. I really appreciated the gesture even though I don't like wasabi! 4-star: The pricing is a little high for plate lunches $10+. If your willing to pay the $ it's good good food and good service.

What a pleasant surprise! Everything PERFECT!!! Restaurant quality!! Steak didn't need any additional seasoning, and the fish was awesome in texture and taste. Rice was soft and sticky as it should be, and the tossed veggies were super fresh with a generous assortment of dressings. Tables and seats were clean, and the staff were very pleasant and professional! I had the best lunch and the best experience on my birthday.

  • Alyssa Y.

The food was delicious, but not broke da mouth type. Still, better than blazing steaks though, according to my opinion and experience. I would definitely recommend this place for lunch, especially the $6.00 steak plate they have from 11:30-4:30pm ;) I had the garlic fries on the side for $4.00 big plate and not oily greasy fries, so that's a plus :) Then of course the spicy chicken, which wasn't really spicy :( though it was tasty. Other than that, everything on our plates were gone and thus satisfied. Will be coming back next time.

I went into this place today and I first have to say, the food was great! Even though they serve the dishes in take out containers, the presentation was amazing! I got the large steak plate, and there was so much steak! Really puts the old days of Blazing Steaks to shame! But most importantly their customer service was incredible! The woman working the counter takes the time to ask your name and remembered it. She even addressed me by my name to thank me when I was leaving. Definitely can't wait to go back!

  • Lillian H.

Best BBQ chicken ever! I always get the spicy BBQ chicken with brown rice. The chicken is so tender and juicy! I love that their brown rice is not extra charge and that it comes with toss salad (instead of mac salad) so I feel not so guilty eating it. I really hope they come back to Downtown!

  • Bret K.

Aloha Island Grill is one of the places in Mililani that I'll frequent fairly often. I normally order a spicy BBQ chicken plate with all tossed salad or an Island Burger with garlic fries. Love both of those items. The steak though is so-so, not something I'd recommend really. The restaurant and kitchen is very clean and the workers all seem extremely friendly. They always say hi, even the guy in the kitchen says what's up.

  • Don T.

I read some reviews and was pretty excited to try it. I ordered the spicy chicken and garlic steak. The staff was very friendly and I got my order in a reasonable time. The spicy chicken was good, but the steak was, uh, well, it wasn't steak. It was some sort of beef seasoned OK, but not at all what I expected. They offer rice and a salad (lettuce) with each plate.

  • Oldchineseguy L.

My son and I tried AIG for the first time. I ordered the spicy chicken with 2 scoop brown rice and toss salad. The chicken was tender, tasty, not greasy, and generously portioned. Toss was good portion as well. My son ordered the regular steak plate. Since he doesn't eat toss, they allowed us to swap with french fries. Interesting meal: steak, rice and fries, lol. Steak was tender and tasty. Overall experience was great. Cashier was very pleasant and smiled. Decor was nice and very clean. Plate lunch was thoughtfully prepared and presented. Prices were in line with Mililani Town Center eateries. Will go back for sure to try other items.

Ive been here several times so im going to write a review! Resturant is always nice and clean, I like that you can see behind the counter/cook area, prices are good for the amount of food they give.. I was able to share one regular steak plate with my mom and my two year old daughter and we were all really full! I usually get the garlic steak with hapa rice (I just ask for one scoop white and one scoop brown rice) i doubt they make hapa rice? Maybe ill ask next time. Anyways, the steak is always cooked perfectly, never chewy or too fatty, and my first worry when ordering the garlic steak was that the garlic would over power everything, but they add the perfect amount of garlic.. salad is always fresh, never brown (does look like it comes from a bag) I dont mind tho. I ordered a side of French fries the other day that was only $3.00 and expected to get a small bag of fries, no! They gave me a plate lunch box full of fries! Super ono my daughter loves their food too! This is definitely the first place I think of when I feel like eating out for lunch/dinner... the owners are super nice and one of them even offered to throw my trash away for me! To some people thats no big deal but I appreciate service like that! Esp from owners.. staff are nice too... going to try their hamburger next time! If you're in mililani side looking for a place to eat try this place!!!

Tried the island burger, Korean burger, and garlic fries. All was good but the Korean burger had nothin special. Tasted like a mays teriyaki burger. If you like garlic you'll love the fries. Next time I'll try the steak

Stumbled upon this place one evening after a movie, and I feel confident in saying my search for mouthwatering steak at an affordable price has finally ended! It would be easy to overlook this small, seemingly simple establishment; but something about the pleasant quaintness and uncomplicated menu caught my attention. Unbelievably glad that it did! Perfect for a quick lunch(better call in advance to place order, seems to get pretty busy during lunch hours) or casual dinner, I will undoubtedly be frequenting this restaurant. Highly recommend the garlic steak and spicy shrimp with sautéed mushrooms and onions, although I also tried a burger with fries (island burger, simple yet appetizing) and it would seem that even the low-end options here are on par with the more expensive items in terms of tastiness. 5 out of 5 stars for the best twelve dollar steak I've ever had.

I used to love going to this place but this experience was the worst! When we walked in there was no line and empty tables so I was excited. However, after we got or cups to get a drink, we realized that the soda was not carbonated. That is not the worst part... We waited a whole hour to get our food and when we were done eating the soda was still not fixed!! I even asked 3 times and she kept telling me just a few minutes. The staff was rude and did not know how to multitask. They are lucky the food was delicious.

I noticed that Blazin Steaks got replace by a more upscale-ish looking place. Called Aloha Island Grill, and after walking by and checking out the menu looked pretty good. The inside is a lot nicer looking compared to when Blazin Steaks was housed there. The menu looks the same though, so I assume it's the same owners of Blazin Steaks. I ordered their Spicy BBQ Chicken, which is just BBQ chicken with hot sauce on top. The chicken was okay and the quality of food is just a "Meh". The salad that came with my meal were brown (brown leafs) and the rice that came with my meal wasn't cooked all the way through (like eating tiny rocks). All I know is that this is probably my first and last time eating at this restaurant.

I noticed this place the other day and thought the sign said "Aloha Salad". Sadly, that wasn't the case but it was still a pleasant surprise. Aloha Island Grill has replaced Blazing Steaks in Mililani Town Center. The menu is mostly steaks, shrimp, chicken, and hamburgers served plate lunch style with tossed salad. I ordered the Loco Moco and I thought it was the best I've had (but a bit too much food for me). It took a few minutes to come out but when it did it was piping hot. I got the large size which was served with 3 large hamburger patties, a huge scrambled egg, lots of grilled onions, on rice and gravy. It was so delicious but there was no way I was going to finish it. Next time I'll get the regular size portion. The service was very friendly. Even the chief came out and asked how it was. The prices were a little above average but, with the portion size, I felt it was fair. A large loco moco and large cherry Pepsi ran me around $14. I would eat at Aloha Island Grill again. But, next time, I think I'll try their hamburgers.

I don't care what anyone says, the food difference between this place when it was Blazin' Steaks and this place as Aloha Island Grill is obvious to me, and not in a good way. Sure, the decor is nicer now, but for a restaurant that serves its meals in styrofoam containers, decor probably shouldn't be the main focus. Food quantity has suffered and prices have remained the same, and a few key Blazin' touches that I'd grown accustomed to are now sadly gone. For starters, the dudes that used to work the counter at this Blazin' were kind of heavy handed with portions, and the people working there now are not. Everything looked very measured and lackluster in my styrofoam container, which was sad. Also, the garlic sauce in the condiment bar was missing, and with the new counter setup it's awkward to navigate around other customers to get to the drink machine. The menu no longer indicates that they offer substitutions for the salad and rice, the sides that come with the steak...at the other Mililani Blazin', you can get corn and mac salad, among other things. Also, my steak was delivered cold. It was cooked perfectly...probably 10 minutes before I ordered it. Sadly, Aloha Island Grill has lost the edge that made its older brother my favorite quick steak plate stop near Mililani. Thank God there's still the one on Kipapa, despite its quirks.

The food and service here is amazingly very good. The hard part of looking at the menu is there's a lot of plates you wanna try all at once! I've tried the garlic steak with sautéed onions and mushrooms, so Ono! The teriyaki salmon is also a favorite. One of the few places that actually serve brown rice. So if you're ever in the area I highly recommend eating here. Lots of space to sit and eat and the prices are reasonably fair!

Best burger joint around the Mililani town center, hands down. The steak wasn't that good, it kind of reminded me of the quality of Blazin steaks, the restaurant before Aloha Island Grill, but their burgers are amazing. Juicy and cooked perfectly. The different types of burgers are similar, but they just change the sauce. Still, compared to burgers from Loco moco and even chilis, I think they got the best. Hands down. Definitely try their Korean BBQ or western BBQ burger, and get it with a side of garlic fries!!

Ordered take out twice and they put the toss salad in the same container with the hot food, when i got home it was weathered and turing brown, also the steak has so much tenderizer on it so it was very salty..... then sore stomach..........asked them the second time to put salad in separate container and still had put it with my food.

I'm happy to see Aloha Island Grill's return-- previously downtown Honolulu. The owners always provide excellent service and are appreciative of your patronage-- very rare now days. The food is good and I love the new modern look!
