BEST FROZEN YOGURT ANYWHERE! We had to visit Yougurtland every night of our vacation.

In my experience these frozen yogurt places all are pretty comparable when it comes to yogurt variety and topings. These guys get 5 stars in my view for (a) great customer service (b) very reasonable prices and (c) when you spend $15 they give you free parking at Whalers village, which at $3 per 30 mins is not cheap and you nearly end up getting the yogurt for free!!. Why wouldnt everyone be stopping at Yogurtland?

In the land of perfect Shave Ice, is it heresy that I can't stop dreaming about my next froyo fix? It's true - Original (plain) Tart is the way to go. I add cheesecake bites, fresh kiwi and raspberries, macademia nuts, mochi, and shredded coconut. It is THE BOMB. I had one an hour ago and am dying to go back for more!

I was pleasantly surprised when we came across Yogurtland at the Whaler's Village. Yogurtland is one of my favorite yogurt spots. I had a cup of Original Tart and Lychee tart. Sooooo goood and refreshing! Oh...and I got a cup with Tokidoki print on it! cool!

Love, love love Yogurtland! We were so excited to find this location in Lahaina. We frequent the ones in Los Angeles and this one is new to Lahaina. It's in the Whaler's Village food court so nothing fancy but good yogurt. You're able to put whatever toppings on it you'd like and no matter how high you pile it the cost will still be more reasonable than Pinkberry. If you're familiar with Menchies, this is pretty close to it sans the Kosher yogurt. I personally like Yogurtland more than Menchies but most would find it to be a toss up.

My girlfriend bought some for us to share and she ended up picking the cheesecake flavor yogurt with fresh strawberries, peaches, canned lychee fruit, and mochi. Didn't like the taste or texture of the yogurt, nor did I like the mochi. The only thing honestly that I enjoyed was the peaches and lychee fruit...

Been to a place like this before. Maybe if I had not my review would have been better as I cannot help but to compare it to my first experience, which was pretty darn good. This place could use more flavors ,more toppings (yes, the other place had more). For the price...just okay.

My 3 year old daughter and I snuck here once while Mama was napping at the resort. For some reason that time is more memorable than all the other times the whole family snacked here together during our trip to Maui. It's the context and not just the condiments that make this place such a gem!

I really liked this fro yo. Delicious fresh fruit toppings, good priced, clean and we get to make our own! It was amazing to me because of the number of toppings to choose from along with the number of flavors of fro yo to choose. i made the original fro yo with fresh lychee, mochi balls, kiwi, and blueberries. It was YUMMY. and only $3. Definitely helps cool the body down from the hot Rays of Maui! Great Priced. Fresh Toppings. Clean. And DELICIOUS!

TREAT YO SELF!!! Serve yourself froyo and toppings. 42 cents an ounce, but tax there is only about 4%. Clean, delicious, and sweet staff.

Even though you might be thinking, seriously frozen yogurt in HAWAII?? Well it's good! My favorite topping.... MOCHI!! I scoop at least 10 scoops into my cup. It is soo good. I love yogurtland!

Hits the spot after eating in Whalers Village eateries. The customer service here is very good, plus you can come watch a great show in the evenings in the whalers village stage, while you enjoy your soft yogurt. They had a wide variety of flavored here from Mango to Coffee and Dutch Chocolate. Overall, good experience.

Finally a yogurtland! We have so many of them but I always loved yogurtland. This one is located at the whalers village they validate with a $10 min purchase. We went there to cool down and be tourist for a lil while since its been too long. This location is really clean and lighting in here is nice and bright :) We went in hoping they would have our favorite flavor TARO (minus a star) but we found another flavor "sorbet". After getting our yogurt we added toppings and paid for our concoction. There our tables outside to enjoy your treat :) (don't mind the birds roaming around)! Will be returning here soon.

If I could have ice cream/gelato/frozen yogurt after every meal, I would. Just because it was two minutes from the beach, I was an instant fan. Add a decent variety of flavors and complementary strawberry-infused water as you wait to fill your oversized cup to the brim - makes Yogurtland a popular destination. I usually skip the fruit topping and go straight for the sugary sweets. The gummies were fresh and tropically flavored but the chocolate options weren't too impressive. Maybe I'm the only one wanting a sugar overload, but no peanut butter cups or chocolate nonpareils was a little disappointing. Summer sun plus good froyo equals the perfect combination.

Three yogurt handles were empty so not a lot of options. Cashier said the "sh*t" word a few times which was offputting. Would have given one star but the place is clean which is good.

  • Christel O.

Not impressed. Came here the last night of our Maui stay. We were there 9:20pm, and half the toppings had already been cleared out and the yogurt was more slush than frozen yogurt so the machines had obviously already been turned off. What a bummer, I guess they in reality close at 9pm not 10pm

    (1)
  • Karen W.

Tasty and flavors like Taro, Mango and Coconut, what's not to love! It's a great dessert after dinner and hits the spot at the Whalers Village

  • Allyson B.

Well they closed 3 minutes early as I stood next to the door holding my phone as evidence to the actual time to show the lady and the lady didn't care at all...just continued cleaning even though I was right. Disappointed.

I don't know about all the coworkers but one of them was very disrespectful. He looked dirty kinda but anyway. He kept giving me attitude. Other than that the yogurt was alright. I've had better. Bad experience hayns

What a nice mid-day treat on a hot day on Maui! This is a new yogurt shop to us and we were impressed. The service was very helpful and gave us the time and space to taste and choose the flavors we liked. We went back three times during our vacation on Ka'anapali.

Truly love the Yogurtland brand, however this location is different with the quality of service. Arrived at this location yesterday evening at 7:55 pm with my family and found out that they were out of 5 of the 12 flavors. It was a busy evening. It was not the employees advising the customers flavors were out , it was the customers telling the Yogurtland employees. One worker went and turned the signs around on the flavors that were out and then told the customers it would be between 10-15 minutes to replenish the machines. I wanted plan tart (which was out as well) so I decided to wait while my wife and son comprised on their flavors. After about 15 minutes I walked back into the stored and asked a worker if the plain tart was available. The person working stated that it was not available and he wad not sure when plain tart would be replenished in the machine. I then left with my family. I did have a chance to take photos of the machines with the signs turned around.

Despite an unswervingly delicious frozen confection time after time, the customer service at this particular Yogurtland location is detrimental to the overall "fro yo experience." The employees contribute highly negative energy to the store, which is not a good pairing with any flavor yogurt. If the frozen yogurt wasn't consistently delightful, there would be no repeat customers. To say the least, "shaka" finds no home in this particular Yogurtland location. But luckily, the yogurt leaves a lasting impression and makes for unforgettable memories - even if employees are kicking trash cans around and the store smells like abrasive cleaning supplies. Hakuna matata.

As is the Yogurtland in our hometown, this one in Lahaina offers a great selection of delicious froyo's. It was a very nice surprise finding a "local" Yogurtland so near to where we were staying in Ka'anapali. Everything was top notch: yogurt; service; staff and facility. We'll be back.

    (5)
  • Kelli S.

Giving one star based on the service alone---we arrived around 30 minutes before closing for a late night fro-yo and when I asked for some water, we were told "We're out of water". Seriously? You can't hook me up with some tap water? That's just ridiculous. It seemed the the real reason was that the employee didn't want to refill the water tank that was sitting out by the yogurt area because they were closing soon. The yogurt itself was fine, but some of the employees need to be better trained in customer service instead of being blatantly lazy.

I love Yogurtland. They always have many varieties of frozen yogurt and great toppings. This was my first experience at this Yogurtland and I was not disappointed. The cashier welcomed us and gave us (my husband, daughter, and myself) small tasting cups so we could try the yogurt before placing it in the large cups for purchase. After selecting my four different flavors of yogurt, I went to select my toppings. There was a large selection of fresh fruits and also many other toppings. I chose blackberries, strawberries, raspberries, mandarin oranges, lychee, banana slices and chocolate chips. There were tons of other toppings too. The toppings section was neat and clean. Not messy at all. The cashier was very friendly and let me select the spoon I wanted. They had Looney Tunes spoons! I've only ever had the Hello Kitty spoons before and they never let me pick in Honolulu! I would definitely go back to this Yogurtland!

Yogurtland....Yogurtland....Yogurtland.....I mean I don't really know what else to say that has not already been said. However I can say that while this location is extremely small....the service and yogurt......are OUT OF THIS WORLD.....wohooooo......yogurtland. I mean no matter where I have visited and found a yogurtland I have been 100 % satisfied. So when the wife and I found this location at Whaler's Village....it was on like Donkey Kong. OOOOOHHH and the prices which I am always talking about when it comes to Maui.....well the yogurt was actually affordable and that was AWESOME. I don't believe the wife and I paid more than 7 bucks for two medium sized cups of froyo yumminess....LOL (yes I know that is not a real word). So if your looking for a Froyo sweet treat.....your search is over....head on over to Yogurtland and Eat, Drink, and be Merry my Friends!!!!

  • Lisa K.

Good typical yogurt bar. The toppings are pretty good, although the fruit could be a little fresher, and the selection of candy is good, but not great. I was impressed with the variety of sweet yogurt flavors (including taro), but there only seemed to be 2 tart options. There's a clear plastic divider that I think is meant to help guide people through the yogurt and toppings area, but actually it sort of just seems to make it more crowded in front of the yogurt. Friendly staff. You have to spend $15 to get parking validated, which I guess is fine with a group, but is fairly impossible with two people. I prefer Island Froyo!

    (3)
  • Chad M.

Just your run-of-the-mill self serve yogurt shop. Nothing spectacular. The establishment is clean. They offer less toppings than most other self-serve yogurt shops Ive frequented.

  • Keiko S.

We tried several local ice cream and froyo shops in this part of Maui...but kept returning to Yogurtland. Sure, we might have been unconsciously missing California where we were first introduced to Yogurtland...but we also knew that we couldn't go wrong here. It's self-serve, and there are enough froyo flavors and toppings to satisfy our every craving. Was it our imagination, or the fruits tasted fresher here than at home? This Yogurtland is inside the Whaler's Village - that's another plus. You buy enough, like in really huge portions, you might get to validate parking. The price is low at 32(?) cents per ounce, so why not. Non-fat and low in calorie, too. There's also Pinkberry on this island, one at the airport even, but Yogurtland wins the competition in our opinion. (Same thing here on the mainland.) SUM: Refreshing and rewarding, in any way you want!

  • Mel G.

Great location in Whaler's Village and right next door to the Westin! Visited here almost everyday for a cool sweet treat and it kept me pretty happy! Nothing like eating a fro-yo on the beach while watching whales. The staff here is friendly and welcoming, ready to assist if need be. Very clean and bright and cheery. Tried a bunch of flavours while there: Honeycomb-doesn't actually have a honey flavor, sad. Devil's Food and Dutch Chocolate-very chocolatey indeed! Left a weird after taste. Coconut-TRY THIS! It was so delicious. I mixed it with everything while I was there and it still was amazing. They also had a ton of toppings, no mochis, but I'll forgive them.

    (5)
  • Andrea W.

More expensive than the west coast YLs but the same great flavors! (including self serve free samples). Located in Whaler's village first floor. Downside is the fresh fruit wasn't so fresh.

  • Alena B.

YUM! In a sea (well really an island in the middle of a sea) of overly priced breakfasts, lunches and desserts and dinners, Yogurtland is a nice stop back in reality. The prices are good and the fray is terrific. I like the Red Velvet and my husband and baby shared the chocolate cake batter. The fruit available to put on the yogurt was great (except I think that the pineapples were canned...SERIOUSLY?) But I watched her chop up most of the fruit so it really was nice and fresh. This is a great place to stop in the Whaler's Village for a treat at a good price. No...it's no different than the yogurt on the mainland, but it's just as good!

  • Steven V.

My wife found this place when we were shopping at Whaler Village in Maui. Initially, I must admit that I'm not a fan of frozen yogurt but the self service concept and the quality of the product was very good. In the end, it did win me over and I really enjoyed my tub of yogurt, in fact I went back for a second helping!!! I also appreciated the service and pricing is very economical for Hawaii!!!

    (4)
  • Kelli A.

My hubby and I loved this place! The self serve concept is wonderful. Getting to choose from a wall of yogurt flavors and then add whatever toppings you want was really nice. They had a very large selection of toppings. I loved being able to control my chocolate chips and sprinkles! I had their Plain Tart, Strawberry, Dutch Chocolate and New York Cheesecake. My hubby had a combination of Dutch Chocolate, French Vanilla, Root Beer Float and Mango Tart flavors. I of course tasted a little bit of each of his. The Plain Tart was a little too tart for my tastes, I preferred the French Vanilla. Other than that, the rest of the flavors hit the spot. Would love to have a place like this in Chicago!

How do they do it?! How can Yogurtland fro yo taste so good and be fat free?! There are Yogurtland stores back home in the Bay Area but they aren't as good as this location. It seriously is my crack.

  • Jen D.

I love frozen yogurt and so does my son. we go here every time we are in lahaina on vacation. We went a few days ago and then went last night again. they did not have chocolate which I thought was odd when they have about 12-14 machines (self serve). I asked the guy working why and he said the boss put in vanilla instead - I said well why not have both since they are both mainstay flavors - I understand you want to have fruity tropical ones for Hawaii but you got 14 machines. the woman behind me piped up and was actually more vocal than me and was like how could you NOT have chocolate and who cares about vanilla? It was kind of funny. They have a lot of flavors but you would think they would have the mainstays and the guy working the counter really couldn't answer about it. toppings were plentiful and fresh.

    (3)
  • Alyssa K.

4.5 stars for this lovely place. It has good yogurt which you self serve with a fro-yo machine and you can also do half half with the other flavor in that machine. There are a variety of flavors along with toppings. Some of my favorites were the cookie dough, mochi, and strawberries. The spoons are very cute and have a theme going on. The yogurt itself is really good, but there is one place where I've had better. Also, the prices are amazing! 4 cups filled with yogurt and toppings and the total was about 18 dollars. Good price!

If you're resort-ing it up in Lahaina, strolling through Whaler's Village is a must, if for no other reason than to indulge your sweet tooth at Yogurtland. If you manage to skip the hula pie at dinner, it's definitely worth trying one of their delicious flavors such as cake batter, peanut butter cookie, or chocolate milkshake (I may or may not have had all three at one point). BEWARE, though, it's self serve which means not only is it easy to over "pour," (read, yogurt spilling over edges, dripping on fingers, and leaning over from weight) it's easy to spend a ga-billion dollars; I find that I hold my breath every time I place the cup on that dreaded tiny scale (please be under $5, please be under $5....alright, alright, please be under $10!). We made it back twice but had it been left up to me, we would have been there every night! What can I say, I'm a shameless frozen yogurt junkie.

  • Kristin B.

YUM YUM YUM. Whoever doesn't like a self serve yogurt shop right off the beach where you have tons of flavors to choose from and unlimited toppings should be slapped! Sorry, kind of freaked out over my yogurt review. This place was SO clean, had a wide variety of yogurts that you get yourself and toppings galore. They had red velvet cake batter, honey, double Oreo, and so many other flavors! Super stoked that they were open at 10pm when my husband and I had a crazy yogurt craving one night. Go try it for yourself people!

Shave ice or fro yo? Hard decision, but we love the toppings and the value of pay-by-the-ounce, so wound up at Yogurtland. Tasty flavors of yogurt, lots of toppings of the healthy and candy variety. Parking free w/ validation. A nice afternoon treat!

We were craving some froyo while in Maui and even though there's tons of Yogurtland locations in the bay area, we had never been. Conveniently located in Whaler's Village was the freshest froyo ever with the best toppings. Their crushed macademia nuts, gheradelli chocolate syrup, and fresh fruit (strawberries and raspberries) were my favorite. It was clear that they take really good care of their froyo machines and had a lot of flavors to choose from. I enjoyed the chocolate, strawberry, and cookies 'n cream. Reasonably priced at .32 cents/oz you can load up on as many toppings as you like! There's outdoor seating if you're compelled to stick around whalers village or just a 2 minute walk from a beautiful, sweeping view of the ocean! Definitely worth stopping by once or twice on your visit!

    (5)
  • Eric S.

Only ate her once and wish I had stopped here at least one more time. I don't know how much the quality of froyo varies, but this stuff tastes really good. I especially liked all the tropical flavors, and they have things like crushed macadamia nuts on the toppings bar which was great. Staff let us sample everything as well. The price is very reasonable, similar if not cheaper than in NJ. Good place to if you're in Whalers Village.

  • Mike M.

What a welcomed taste of home in Maui. We even tried a new mango flavor which was surprisingly good. Pricing is a tad higher than back in SF but still very reasonable considering the location. Another plus for being open late until 10pm.

Super yummy fro-yo and a great assortment of fun toppings! Prices were about on par with what I'm used to in central California (approx $4 for a small/med).

  • Neill M.

Nice and clean, do-it-yourself frozen yogurt shop. With flavours like "mango", "coconut" and "kona coffee" the variety of choice is as good as it gets. Toppings included fresh fruit, macadamia nuts and all of the other usual ice cream add ons. So good I went again a few days later to the one in LA at Universal City that was just as pleasing!

I love self service yogurt places. I had the dutch chocolate and coconut. They were delcious and very flavorful without being really sugary. My boyfriend and I got our yogurts together and they were only $6 which I thought was SUPER CHEAP for what all we got. SCORE! It was very refreshing on a warm hawaii day!

My wife and I really liked this place. We wished there was one in our area. The only real danger here is the X-TRA large cups they use here. It really let's you get into trouble filling that thing up to maximum capacity. I got a combo of root beer and coconut with captain crunch and cheesecake cubes. It was Awesome! My better half got coconut with cheesecake cubes, macadamia nuts, toasted coconut flakes.

I love frozen yogurt and we don't have one of these places where I'm from so was excited to see that they recently opened one on Maui in Whalers Village. If you've never eaten at one before, it's self serve so you grab a cup and they have a wall full of machines and you pick whichever flavor or flavors you want. The range from your typical vanilla and strawberry to coconut and red velvet cake batter. After that you move along to the toppings. There's a large fruit section, then candies, then cereals and even mochi balls and then they also have syrups you can top it off with. Then you get to the cashier, put your cup on a scale and they charge you 42 cents an ounce. My boyfriend and I decent sized portions each and it cost us $7 for both of us. Wish we had one of these places where I lived!

Sans the huge depression I have that I am no longer within walking distance of this place (or in Hawaii at all for that matter,) this place made me very very happy. Don't waste your time on the other flavors of yogurt. While good--the Original Tart is the way to go. Even my husband, who for some reason kept straying to "New York Cheesecake" kept saying "man. that original tart is amazing. Why did I stray?" To which I gave him a smug look, while lovingly eating my OT. The pay by the oz is amazing!! So if you want to spend $2, you can, or if you want to spend $8, you can. Genius! Fresh fruit (the strawberries were amazing) and chocolate? On my Hawaiian vacation, I skipped meals for this. I am addicted. I am okay with that. Also all their paper products are biodegradable! Hurrah! Rumor has it that there is a place similar to Yogurtland here in Chicago. I will give that a big "we'll see" and see if it lives up the greatness.

This place brings back good memories! Me and my sister used to come here all the time. The tart flavor was really good, especially when topped with lychee fruit. I just wish they had a bigger selection of flavors. The location is very nice as well; I love the atmosphere. When you are in the area, you have to stop at Yogurtland for a yummy and healthy dessert.

Really nice guy working there who encouraged us to try every flavor, was really friendly, and he validated our 3 hours of parking for our little $8 purchase! Very nice!

For serious??? I love you Yogurtland. I first had the chance to try you last year in Waikiki and then in Maui. Now that I am back in Maui this year I can't get you off my mind (don't tell my wife). Tons off choices for yogurt and the toppings are almost endless. Then you go to pay for it and it is super cheap. When can I see you again??

Perfect treat to help cool down on a hot day shopping outdoors. Lots of yummy flavors and toppings, ranging from fresh cut fruit to chocolate candies, to gummies and syrups. It's self serve, so you can put as much yogurt and whatever flavors and toppings you'd like. They weigh the cup at the register and you just pay 30 cents per ounce. I'm addicted to Yogurtland on the mainland, so I was happy to find one in Maui.

Stopped here while wandering around Whalers Village. If you've been to one Yogurtland then you've pretty much been to them all. It was 42 cents per ounce if I recall correctly.

All the yogurt we tried here was too runny. They call it Frozen Yogurt for a reason. Maybe an off day or a mismanaged franchise. This is the first time we actually left a Yogurtland! :(

Good variety, reasonable prices, clean. Great selection of toppings. What's not to like?
