These people don't know what a breve is. The cashier caused a commotion, calling over a co-worker. What I finally got was so burnt I threw it away after one bitter mouthful.

Sometimes it's reassuring to have a taste of the familiar even when you're in as idyllic a place as Maui. I guess that's why I sauntered over to the Starbucks for my grande coffee with room for cream. A service-zealous young man enthusiastically took my simple order to find that the coffee maker was empty. He apologized profusely and asked if I wouldn't mind waiting three minutes for my coffee. I suppose...geez. Actually it was one of the cleaner Starbucks I ever visited perhaps because everyone would rather hang out at the ABC Store next door. There was just a mini-entourage of snot-nosed debs who sat beside us flashing their digital cameras at each other with little regard for anybody else. I saved my killer look of disgust for these Paris Hilton wannabes...it's my combination of condescending stare and smallmouth. Conveying smallmouth is an art form...you need to purse your lips just so and give a dismissive look like you caught one of them farting...like a big one. Anyhow, the coffee was good and just hit the spot.

Only came here once and would not be back. Three employees were talking to a jamba juice employee (JJ is next door) while one older gentlemen helped the line of customers. When the other workers finally got involved making drinks/ looking busy they took turns chastizing the gentleman helping people- felt pretty sorry for the dude. Place was dirty and it took 10 minutes to get an iced tea/ sandwich when the only person in front of me was the jamba juice employee

Air conditioned, with the usual Starbucks offerings. Good overall but it would help if there was more seating, and the servers less rushed and embody more Starbucks spirit.

Terri was our server, she was friendly, funny and I will come back to this Starbucks even though it's farther from our house just because of her service.

As a veteran Starbucks employee for the past 7 years from the mainland, you would think the baristas here would be as catering to other fellow employees. Not really. I couldn't use my discount to pay for my friend traveling with me. And I had to add money to Hawaii Starbucks gift card instead of just not-activating one so I could add to my Starbucks gift card collection. Whatever. The baristas are somewhat nice and efficient. That's the only positive about this place.

If possible, I try not to come to this Starbucks (I normally and prefer to go to the one in Queen Kaahumanu mall). 98% of the time I come to this Starbucks, the service here is really slow (even if I'm the 2nd person in line). I'm not a complainer nor I normally write reviews. Today was just the worst. When my friend and I walked in (about 6:20 am) there was no line. Two people were already waiting for their coffee to be made. I assumed their ordered has been taken since they were waiting by the area where they give you your drink. There were only 2 workers. My friend went first. She ordered her venti drink and a bagel. She requested for her bagel to be toasted. After the cashier was done taking her order, the cashier excused herself and went to put my friends bagel in toaster oven, comes back to the counter and rings a bag of coffee and a scone for one of the persons that was already there. Then the cashier goes back to the toaster oven and takes my friends bagel, calls for her and hands it to her (by this time her drink is also done). After about 5 mins of waiting...the cashier FINALLY takes my order and by then a line formed and a total of 6+ people are behind me. As I walk to the area for my drink, another employee comes from the back and assists with the line. Shouldn't she have been there the whole time?! Overall, the workers are ok. They just need to pick up the pace.

When you charge $ 5 for a chai tea, the service should be why. The product was the expected Starbucks quality and the prices seemed to be on par with what we pay at home. The place was clean and fairly empty - I have ideas as to why... The service at this starbucks was rather lame - a big downer - I was having a great day and in top spirits when I came in. If you aren't going to go big, go home. My daughter's addiction to SBUX should give me plenty of opportunities to sample the other shops on the island before we go home. I am hoping that they live up to the standard of service that the mainland SBUX's are able to deliver.

Great service - get my difficult order right every time and very predictable.

I like the re-model. I do not like the new seating. It is incredibly uncomfortable and just another sign that Starbucks is continually trying to discourage people from using their free wifi all day and basically setting up camp in the shop. But it's Starbucks, and it's free wifi, and it smells good.

C- grade Starbucks. Drinks were not made as ordered and one drink in the order was forgotten until several following customers were served and then we reminded the baristas of the missing drink.

I don't want to relive the ordering experience and odds are she won't be on if you happen to go in there, but wow, what a rude barista. I won't be spending any more money in this branch.
