There are 5,6 and $7 foot longs at subway now. Depending on the sandwich, you can still get a 5 dollar, 5 dollar, foot looong... Hey the marketing jingle worked. For example the Cold cut combo is 5 bucks. Fresh ingredients, tasty wheat bread, and low fat options is always a good way to start off my guilt free lunch. I tend to save my other half for breakfast or lunch the next day. I'm sure they didn't think this through, but the cashier is so close to the soda machine, it creates a cluster of mess during lunch hour.

It's a hit or miss when ever we come to this subway. I think it really depends on the person who makes the sub. We order extra meat with our subs, and out of the four or five workers, two of them actually give us the extra meat. some workers are heavy with their sauce (i.e. mayo etc) and some aren't. The only thing I dont like about this subway is the location of the soda fountain. Its so awkward.

Juniet is the a prime example of a subpar employee. I placed an order for a platter (for a meeting) hours before I wanted to pick up. She called me back 2 different times to clarify items on the sandwiches (bread, cheese, etc). 30 min prior to pick up, I called to confirm- no problem. I come to pick up the order and the guy behind the counter (Jamar) had NO CLUE what I was talking about and tells me I'm at the wrong store (Deja vu because this happened to me last month. Coincidentally with the same female employee). Juniet comes out of the back and says "oh yeah, I didn't think the order was still on cause we don't have pastrami" WTH?!? I asked what number she called because my phone didn't ring and she said "oh I no call, I forgot" WTF?!? Jamar was on it. He jumped in started making sandwiches and apologized multiple times.

Slow, slow, slow!! There was only two people in front of us and the workers were working slow as molasses.

They are never open on time in the morning. Maybe you need to change your hours if your employees can't get there in time for opening.

Friendly service and clean. Prefer this subway to the one in kapolei shopping center.

I'm not one to speak badly but I agree with the reviews. Their workers had a hard time understanding a simple question. The subway in Ewa has the sweet onion teriyaki chicken for the $6.00 January footlong. But when I asked the worker at Kapolei if they had it I had to repeat myself about four times and all she could do is read the sign. I can read I do see that it clearly said $7.75 but I was asking if it's supposed to be considered the $6.00 because other places had it advertised as so. Hire people that speak and understand English or at least offer them classes to help improve.

Absolutely the worst subway on planet earth. The staff is slow don't Speak English and you can tell the owner is a cheep a**. The soda machine is dirty and broke. The skimp on all ingredients . Save yourself some money and go to the subway by target.

On October 23 at 8:30 am my children and I stopped in to enjoy breakfast. On the window there was a special for a $3 ham sandwich. I purchased three of them, in addition I purchased 3 small drinks. Total for the 3 meals was about $15. After my purchase I walked over to fill my drinks. A young lady (which I later discovered was the shift manager) asked me if I had purchased the combo meal. I said no, I wasn't aware of a combo meal. She then told me about the special, 6 inch ham sandwich with a small drink for $3. Which would have saved me $5. If I would have known about it I would have ordered the combo but she did not mention it until after I had purchased my items. I asked the manager if she could refund me the purchase and charge me for 3 combo meals but she refused. I asked to have the contact number for the general manager of the facility and she said she was the manager. I then suggested for future reference that she explain the specials BEFORE hand and not after the fact the meal was already purchased. I could have saved $5. She then went on to explain to me that the special was offered for the entire month. For a regular customer that frequents subway often, I can see the assumption of knowing the specials. I was not one of those people. The only special I was aware of was the $3 ham sandwich. In addition to this, as a manager she should have known the proper protocol of suggesting the specials prior to purchase not AFTER. For a manager to offer after the fact would assume the customer would be accommodated for the error. Im a manager of a military clinic and I deal with customers daily. Customer service and the delivery of handling a customer complaint is very important. This was dealt with in a very poor manner. I will not be coming to this subway again. Customer service is very unprofessional.

Reading the reviews before me got me very skeptical but I ended up going here because I really wanted breakfast. I actually had a great experience and a great breakfast sub. The lady who helped me, Nabosa? Or something she was very very nice and polite .

Not the best Subway. The setup is very awkward, and the store is quite small. I walked into a completely empty store, and I just stood there for a few minutes until someone came out from the back. Instead of the usual greeting all I got was a "what do you want." The meat, cheese, and vegetables were great, but the bread was dry. Oh so dry! I guess this Subway only makes their bread every few days, rather than everyday like all the others.

Ive been eating at a lot of subways lately, and by far kapolei has the worst service, or just bad staff that dont listen well and rude. Placed an order for 2 sandwiches and they left out some of the main ingredients. Maybe people in line rushed them to make things faster? or they just forgot. Regardless, a thank you or an im sorry would have been nice. Then their cashier charged us again for their mistake not adding it to our first payment, making us pay again. As much as I'd like to give them a worse review, the food was ok and made us full.

I try...and TRY to give this Subway a chance, but every single time I come here something is just WRONG. It's a hit or miss in my opinion, but in my case it's a miss! The way this Subway is set up really sucks, I don't know if I even wrote a review for this place, I think I have but my last time I was here the sweet tea was NOT made fresh and it tasted at least a DAY OLD! warm and just nasty. How much more if they didn't clean the damn inside of it well?? The set up of this store sucks big time too! The soda machine is SO close to the order line, you can't even move through no matter what your size! It's just like...What the hell were they thinking? Did they think we will just magically form fit through the line after we order to get our soda? I mean it's cool and all to have free refills, but they seriously messed up that set up bad! Also, when I went here the temperature of this place was beyond warm! and it was nice and cooler OUTSIDE than it was inside. I also don't appreciate the workers speaking their own language when creating customer's orders. It's nice to be bilingual, kudos for speaking multiple languages. Still, it's VERY rude to be doing that when serving customers. I think it's okay if customers weren't ordering their food, or they're already sitting down enjoying their meal, but NOT when there is a long line of customers and each of them are just speaking to their coworkers instead of trying to create better customer service. I mean, the sandwich was great and it seems they have "FRESH" items but when I want it to go, I expect it to be average speed of less than 15min, NOT longer than that! and we were already in before they had a rush of people come in after us. Pfft! I really love Subway, but this one is just not great at all.

I Love Subway... but not this one. Wow. We stopped the first day of vacation because all 10 of us were starving after a long flight. The service was rude, made sandwiches wrong and literally THROWS the meat and fixings onto the sandwich. Five days later I stop again with just my daughter. It wasn't busy at all. The girl wouldn't even speak to us and she flung every item we requested onto the sandwich so nothing was evenly dispersed. The soda fountain being 18 inches from the sandwich line is ridiculous. The first visit had a refrigerator full of warm drinks because it was broken. The shorter employee girl is absolutely the unfriendliest person ever! After we ate their we saw there is another Subway down the road. Maybe we will try that one next time. This one is awful.

Just to make sure we are talking about the right Subway, this store is the one located next to Safeway in Kapolei...not the one next to Target. The Yelp map is showing this location as the one near Target and Aloha Salads! As other folks have stated, this is by far the worst Subway on Island! I have also noted the language barrier, but that's not the biggest complaint I have with them. It's the fact that they are so cheap, and I'm sure it must be instituted by their ownership/management. I have never been to another Subway where they actually count out each individual vegetable. Most places they will take a small handful of each topping and scatter a fairly generous amount across your sandwich. Here the employees will actually count out 4 pickles, 5 black olives, 4 jalapenos etc... and I've actually seen them remove some items if they think it's too much! I''ve been noticing this practice here for year's now, so it's not a one time deal! If you have the time, it's worth driving the extra distance to the Subway over by Target in Kapolei Commons!

This is for Subway's Orchard Chicken Salad sub, which is $6 for a footlong. subwayfreshbuzz.com/menu… Even if the thought of Subway putting apples, golden raisins and cranberries in with the chicken did sound pretty *blehhk* at first, I was still curious. There was something about the sandwich's combination (also in with chopped celery) that made it sound like it would be a perfect end to a long summer day. Aside from my initial feelings on the fruit, it was everything I thought it would be: tasty, refreshing and very filling. In fact, I didn't finish my footlong. It's pretty much that "Hey! You got your chocolate in my peanut butter!" story, cept with the blending of chicken and fruit salad. In fact, You can't really taste the fruits all that much in with chopped chicken breast, cept for the cranberries. The cran actually gives the sub a nice, sweet and mild tangy after taste. Not only does the chunkiness of the chicken make the sub hearty, it is also very moist. Like the "good" kind of moist. When the sandwich was being constructed, I was thinking what would go well with chicken salad. This meaning not having it toasted on wheat (like I usually do), a milder cheese like provolone and hrmm, why not see if the oil and vinegar balance out the sweet. Your turn! BTW, the sandwich artist behind the counter will not ask what type of dressing (ranch, chipotle, etc) because of the salad already having mayo in it. So make sure to instruct them otherwise, esp if other dressing tickles your fancy. Again, a great end after a long, hot day. Very refreshing and tasty. Available only until July 4th! 4 stars Subway's Orchard Chicken Salad sub

eat fresh. you've been to a subway you've been to them all. it's a franchise afterall. so this review is my opinion on the differences from the other subways good: -convenient location -lots of parking -fast service bad: -closes 30 mins. earlier than the other subways in the area at 9:30pm -small, like many locations with limited seating

Because I cannot eat a footlong sub, I miss their daily $2.99 specials. When craving fast food but don't want the grease, we normally do the Jared thing. It's not by all means the best sandwhich but thru the sandwhich artist, you make it your own and it serves its purpose. It always tastes better when you drown it with vinegar!

Ordered the chicken teriyaki. Wasn't the greatest. I also ordered a minestrone soup and they gave me clam chowder instead. Mediocre food. Great service though.
