It's been years since I've been in a Baskin Robbins. How long has this chain been around, anyway? It sure is a happening spot in Kapolei. Saturday night, babysitting two young girls while mom and dad enjoyed date night (building karma for the future) ice cream was definitely in the plan to be "favorite auntie (and uncle)". First thing I noticed after the big line was a dirty, filthy floor. Seriously people! There was no storm rain....no excuse for the floor to be that visibly dirty. Please mop more often.....or at least swiffer mop. The staff was friendly and the line was serviced fairly quickly. I had some sort of lower fat aloha brownie flavor which was good. Kids happily devoured rainbow sherbet (funny how kids pick ice cream based on colors). Hubby picked his standard chocolate peanut butter combo. The kiddie cup was really a perfect size, even for an adult with a giant sweet tooth. Practically guilt free. The only seating available were the mall benches outside so cups would probably be the best bet for kids at this location. Personally I would rather go to Menchies but $10.01 for 4 kiddie cups at Baskin-Robbins.....I see why BR is so popular. Favorite auntie status? I'll have to check w/ the kids parents tomorrow. They passed out after their sugar induced high.

Crappy BR :( they're missing the most important topping... whipped cream! Then I order a banana royale and they make me a regular sundae. So bummed!

This place was my best friend when I was pregnant. My favorite part about Baskin-Robbins, as a whole, is that they have the greatest Rocky Road ice cream ever! I'm not a fan of the marshmallow cream, I much prefer the real thing, and boy do they have the real thing! Real marshmallows, yummy almonds, and the perfectly rich chocolate ice cream. Obviously, the hormonal flavor of the 9 months for me was Rocky Road, but I haven't eaten a flavor here I don't like. Between Pistacio Almond, Nutty Coconut, Mint Chocolate Chip, Winter White Chocolate, Lucky Mint, and whatever seasonal flavors they have, it really doesn't seem like you can't always find something everyone will like. Best part of Baskin-Robbins are their ice cream cakes. Whenever we have dinner parties, I usually opt to buy one. They're too good to have in the house without guests - I'll eat the whole thing myself! Plus, the employees here are usually helpful, but it can get super busy at this location from time to time, so beware.

Everyone got what they wanted, everyone got their sugar fix for the night, and everyone had to wait a bit to get it. Why? Cause this B and R was crazy busy! I was shocked. I wasn't sure if it was cause there was some kind of crazy deal or something but everyone seemed to want ice cream on a Friday night. I have never seen a B and R that busy. Well, everyone knows what they are going to get right? Yeah, so I really don't have to explain it.... I guess what they say is right, location location location, this B and R was scooping up (pun intended) 089/365 creamycoolgood yelp challenge

I'm here all the time for my Mocha Blast w/Jamoca almond fudge... I tend to repeat myself on what ice cream I want inside but some workers still put regular Jamoca. Not a biggie. The place is very small and almost always busy, and there are always at least two workers. But for some reason it still takes long. Nanakuli BR is significantly quicker with only one person behind the counter. I think if they changed the way they ran the place (Like let me pay while my drink is blending) the place will run so much more smoothly and customers would have a better experience.

Environment: 5/5 Employees: 5/5 Food: 5/5 Cost: 4/5 Accessibility: 5/5 Total: 24/25 Synopsis: My dad thought it was essential that he goes to Baskin Robbins for some ice cream. It never dawned upon me as to what the significance of getting mediocre ice cream for a premium price. Green Tea ice cream? What? When did they start making that? :O I was amazed. It was better than I thought, and you could taste real green leaves. Yum! The chain was clean and employees were very friendly. Environment: Very clean and inviting! Employees: Two employees were their working, synergistically! One greeted me upon entering the establishment and was quick to offer excellent customer service. Food: Pistachio Almond: This is by far my favorite. However, once I tried the green tea ice cream, this came in at a close second. Green Tea: Real leaves? Awesome tasting. I loved it!! One of my favorite green tea ice cream I ever had. Cost: It is a premium price for some of the ice cream that isn't the best in the world. So make sure when you come here, only buy the best where you cannot find anywhere else. I don't know anyone who makes great pistachio almond or green tea like Robbins. NUM! Accessibility: For the holiday season, finding parking was very easy.

Located in the Kapolei shopping center! Besides craving a cookie... I went on a dessert binge on my pamper myself day since I was off of work! I stopped by Baskin-Robbins to get my faaaaave, rainbow sherbet! Pineapple, raspberry, and orange sherbet mixed together... OMG yum yum! Staff was nice and the store is fairly clean... no wait which was even better! Lots of other available treats if you don't like rainbow sherbet (really?! how can you NOT like rainbow sherbet??)... a slew of other ice cream flavors, shakes, smoothies, sundaes, ice cream cakes, ice cream sandwiches, ice cream cupcakes, etc etc...

Very upset with the staff. Went to pay for a birthday cake on 11/3/14 @ 6:21pm. Literally, inform the staff that I am paying for this and someone will pick it up tomorrow 11/4/14. From when they open or by lunch. Left my name and company name on a piece of paper and made sure that it would be ready. The worker wrote on the cake and I verified it that evening, paid for the goods and left. Next day, my staff went over to pick it up and the their staff told my worker their is no cake for you. He waited for 10 mins and they still didn't locate it. They finally found it after I called and yelled at them. My afternoon was wasted due to the incompetency of the employees. No communication at all. I literally had to drive to baskin-Robbin kapolei to pick up the cake and delivery to my office. Let me say, my time and gas has been waisted by some idiotic employee.

Somewhat Disappointed in this so called Baskin Robbins (BR) ice cream parlor. First, the service is never consistent. You have your young workers who know how to make a mean ice cream, then you have your workers that at their tender age require a hearing aid and apparently are trying to cut cost for the business by not giving you full scoops. Probably worried the business expenses would cut into their pay..!!..!! I do come here often as there ain't many choices in the area. You got Menchies if your looking for Fro-Yo...but no one else to meet those late night or hot summer cravings for good ol' fashioned ice cream. Tonight we asked for vanilla for a banana split and they had NONE. How do you not have vanilla??? That's a core flavor in ice cream universe. Last week we asked for chocolate for a banana split and apparently the hot Hawaiian sun melted it all away because there was NONE. Today's mint chocolate chip ice cream brand changed from their usual mint chocolate chip brand--they used to have the big chips but the brand tonight had more like smears of chocolate (must be where the chocolate from last week went!) not small chocolate bits. I've been waiting for them to serve the pineapple coconut, which they keep telling me they will have in a few days. More often it's the nutty coconut they have available. Haven't seen the pineapple coconut in awhile. It is Hawai'i and we love pineapples; bring it back please! The store does not have much room inside, so if you're claustrophobic go elsewhere. There is absolutely no place inside to sit due to its small rectangle like space. You can sit outside on the dirty nasty concrete-like benches if it doesn't bother you. But the homeless folks often use them plus it had all sorts of weird indescribable "things." However BR does not have its own table and chairs setup for its customers. Either that will cut into its profits or some type of safety hazard. Last month BR was selling the Whoopie Pie ice cream, where you pick your ice cream flavor and the scooped flavor is smushed between two beautifully shaped thick chocolate buns. Well at least that's the case in the Waikele BR. But not at your Kapolei BR. They said I have to buy their pre-made one with the flavor they've already chosen. I think not my dear BR worker! In closing, this place is NOT BAD, but it's NOT THE BEST either. If you can, take the short drive down to Waikele BR-do it! Plus the Waikele location has better customer service and clean tables & chairs inside....and it's roomier too. At these prices be nice to get better service...especially since we're not buying just one cone or the cheapest thing on the menu.

Please take care of your employee, specially girls, they just scoop and feeling tired already and they don't give enough ice cream for what I had paid for, there is one guy that works there but forgot his name and he was really very good! he works 4x/wk...love him, he needed a pay raise for working hard....your ice cream was expensive especially when they scoop only a bit.... You needed to have a numbers for customers.

One ice cream freezer was broken yesterday (5/24/14), so they had a limited number of flavor selections (about half what they usually have). No word on when it will be fixed. Also, they were out of the flavor of the month and said they didn't have any more. Other than that, we got the usual prompt and friendly service.

What can you say it's Baskin Robbins. .. I've always been a die hard cherries jubilee fan. The staff here is always super friendly and even when the line is out the door they always seem to get you out the door stuffing your face faster than lickety split.

I come for the Mac nut ice cream. Last time the girl said they didn't have any, but when I pointed to the mac nut tub in the right side freezer and she giggled and said oh you mean that flavor... Wait what? Tonight I went and the boy behind the counter said they didn't have mac nut. I asked if they ran out or don't carry it. After fumbling for an answer he decided they don't carry it at that store. (Im going to give him the benefit of the doubt that he was hired less than a month ago and never saw the aforementioned Mac nut). Anyway lesson learned... Going to another ice cream shop with smarter employees (and Mac nut).

All I have to say is that Oreo Cheesecake ice cream is the best thing that I've ever had in a long time!! It's difficult for me to say because when it comes to ice cream, I'm very picky! Luckily BR gives free samples! Yay! However, pricing is just a little way too expensive for ice cream, you can go to cold stone and get pretty much the same price and for more and better selection and you can choose more on what you want as far as toppings go. Lots of parking space as well! As far as customer service goes, it's 'alright' the girls there are a little slow. No biggie though because there seemed to be a lot of customers that day, but it wasn't as organised. Cleanliness was good too, not much cake ice creams stocked, but their ice cream sure was! Thinking about this place makes me want ice cream all over again! Yummmmm!

Great service with a smile. Have known some of the people here for years. They consistently make/serve what we order correctly. Decent selection. Only thing I don't like is that the prices are constantly creeping up. About $6.89 for a medium blast. Yikes! Time to visit less frequently. No club card at this location either = buy 9, get 1 free. Nobody interested in loyalty anymore?

A tried and true ice cream place in Kapolei, a perfect complement to the first shopping center in the neighborhood. They have such a wide selection of flavors and offerings, one always has to consider them when hungering for ice cream. They also have ice cream cakes and pies too.

We came here on vacation and had never tried this type of food. We enjoyed the unique experience as part of our trip. You must be adventurous and willing to sort through a lot choices! The staff was helpful and each of us picked different individual bowls that we shared. One caution is to avoid picking too many items as it will add up and probably be more than you can eat.

Who doesn't love ice cream?! Since we're in Kapolei a lot of the time, Baskin Robbins is our go-to place if we feel our sweet tooth knocking on our door. I'm always torn in between flavors, but I go with my gut. Customer service is always great, and the workers here have so much patience when it comes to my 4 year old, who wants to sample every single flavor here, haha!

This place usually always has a customer in it and it can get pretty crowded. I can get more icecream for my money's worth by buying my icecream at a grocery store, so I only come here for the icecream cakes. The cakes are pricey, but who doesn't love ice cream cakes? And they taste so good. One medium size cake can feed my whole family of 8 and we still have a little less than half of the cake leftover (to eat later of course!) The workers are good at writing messages on top and can add icing flowers too if you like. I also like how there are bday candles available too.

Ice cream is the common cure for 98.95% of life's problems. Did you get into a fight with your other half? Drown your sorrows with ice cream! Did you ace your final exam? Go celebrate with some ice cream!! Get stuck on a deserted island with your worst enemy? Use the tactical method of offering her an entire ice cream cake to celebrate your newfound bff-ship, then secretly laugh as her butt slowly grows bigger than Charlie Sheen's ego!!! Yay, for SWEET revenge!!! But seriously, Baskin Robbins is awesome. Go treat your enemy to some ice cream. You'll thank me later! *virtual high-five!!!* You're welcome.

I called the health department on them. Need I say more? No I don't have to but of course I will. We went in there to buy a cake for valentine's day. The place was crowded with two families. Four girls were behind the counter. Two were assisting the guests. The other two were not. One was sitting on the counter talking on the phone. The other carried a large cake to the counter in the front of the store to frost. After she plopped it there chatty cathy on the phone asked her if she wanted some spam musubi. She then proceeded to FEED the girl who was decorating the cake. Yes you read correctly she FED the cake decorator. That was it. I was done in the joint. I approached one of the girls asking for the name of the two behind the counter. She informed me that those two girls were off the clock. I asked her again for the names saying that was not my concern. She did give them to me and I called the owner who really seemed apathetic about the whole incident. He apologized and told me to come back soon. If he had been more proactive, sincere, or even caring about the incident I would have let it go. Since I was not convinced he was going to do anything about it I called the department of health. I feel very bad for the person who received a valentine's day cake with spam juice drizzles on it. Oh...and as mentioned in a previous review the place is dirty. The freezers are dirty. The floor is filthy. Stay away from this place...far far away!

Review 017/365 Yelp Challenge 2011 This review is not really because of them, it's more of me. It is partly them though. I didn't read the back of the current 2011 Entertainment book coupons, #D49-D54. I walked in one day, bought the lowest fat scoop of fro-yo that they had, lemon blueberry flavor in a cup. The girl behind the counter told me that the Kapolei location was not participating and that the locations were listed on the back of the coupon. I would have to drive to Waikele if I wanted to use all of the coupons in this year's Entertainment book. The low fat lemon blueberry fro-yo was still delicious. I didn't realize that all Baskin and Robbins locations here didn't participate in the Entertainment book.

Ok, so they have one of my favorite flavors and I come regularly. They are nice, usually very clean and convenient.

What can you say bad about Icecream. They have all the flavors along with icecream cakes & pies. Gets busy in the evening. There are a lot of places to dine near by and stop here after dinner.
