Pros - Service is excellent. The staff really does everything they can do to please. They have a passion for the work they do. - All of the food is really good and not greasy - Nice seating area with both indoor and outdoor seating Cons - If you are staying at the hotels on the Kona coast it is a bit far, although not terrible. If you are going on a day trip to the Hilo side of the island, definitely stop here. - In a strip mall Bottom Line If you are looking for a great place for breakfast, brunch or lunch this is an absolute must go to. It is not a fancy hotel type experience, but the food is delicious and the service is excellent.

This delightful little cafe is tucked away behind a strip mall in Waimea. With delicious salads and decadent desserts, this place will be sure to leave you with a smile on your face! Be cautioned though, the entree portions are HUGE! The experience overall was great! A must-visit for lunch if you are in the Waimea area for shopping, hanging out, or just looking for a good place to eat!

This is a great place to grab quick cold case salads and desserts. Their tuna salad in avocado or their chicken salad in papaya are perfect proportions for a lunch. I have heard great things about the Mediterranean salad as well. The breakfast is expensive (I know oats don't cost THAT much money) but the poached eggs and potatoes are worth the bucks every so often. The fresh juice is great too. My partner always gets the house blend with kale added- very fresh and lite. The atmosphere is a little stark. The walls need work, the tables and the chairs are dated. The lighting sucks.. But they don't seem to be bothered by fluorescent lights and baby yellow walls with glittery fairy art on them. I usually get my food to-go anyways, but it would be nice to see this place get a little face lift. The service is iffy. Some days it's great: smiles, a little small talk, explanation of the good options. Some days it's like talking to a moody 12 year old boy who is only focused on getting back to his video games. Awkward conversation, short answers, not very personable for such a short service time. All in all, it's worth a try, great for to-go lunches and breakfast juices, but don't expect to find this a comfortable place to hang out and make connections with the community.

Went here after friend found online, closed when we went on Sunday. Went back later and after seeing menu skipped due to ack of vegan options. Found Village Burgers instead which was fantastic!

Aloha! My first trip to big island I was staying on the Kona side. On the drive to waimea valley one day we stopped by the shopping center Lilikoi Cafe was located in. Lilikoi was nicely decorated, had a healthy and fresh food item selection to choose from. I ordered too much for just me but ate it all :) smoothie (with environmentally friendly cup and plastic spoons I think said they are made from potatoes!!! So impressed), avocado with tuna salad amazing!!! And chicken pesto pasta salad! Ah how I miss Hawaii and would love to stop by here tomorrow.

We enjoyed the fresh, homemade salads, fresh squeezed carrot and beet juice and homemade desserts. The place is very casual as others have noted. A nice lunch stop if you're in town.

Food was decent had a breakfast crepe, my girlfriend scrambled eggs. Food arrived promptly but the service was sub par. Waitress/cashier had an attitude problem. Was very short and not helpful to 1st time customers to this seemingly "hip establishment" I would suggest getting a steak at Hawaiian style cafe instead of this place.

Let me preface an overall negative experience with saying that the veggie burger is absolutely fantastic tasting. However, there was not much ambiance to the place. It is very yellow with limited decor. It's also drafty and on a cold day like today you need a jacket inside. There was no bathroom and the food was served on paper plates. I'm fine with all of this, but the price should be slightly lower because of it and it's not. Expect to spend 10 per meal you order at the absolute minimum. Like I said the veggie burger was very good, but the salad that comes with it is also marginal at best. It was leaf lettuce not cut up and dressing, that's all. So good food, but overvalued given everything else.

The line was out the door at Hawaiian Style Cafe, so this was plan B. Reviews looked good, but our experience not so much. Only two other patrons in the restaurant at 9:00 on Saturday morning. 20 minutes for two eggs and toast. The food is OK. No communication from staff after we placed order. You can do better.

This is a regular place for me. The salads are very fresh and tasty. I love the soup and sandwich special especially the tuna. The freshly squeezed juices are a great pick me up. Desserts are to die for and breakfast is scrumptious especially with a cappuccino.

Looking for healthy fare in the Waimea Parker shopping area this is it. Can be a little hard to find, it's in the back of the shopping area.

Love Lilikoi cafe. The owners are so nice and the food is made with care. Definitely a good spot to grab lunch.

This is a short review because this place is great!!!!!!!!!!! If I lived Big Island vice Oahu I would always eat here. Start off with the lady at the cash register was great. She was so motivated with explaining the food and had such motivation that since this was a small Cafe I thought she was the owner or owners wife but come to find out she was just a employee!!!!!!! She definately belived in her product!!!!!!!!!!! In short the menu has everything to satisfy your desire. They pride themselves in using local grown goods. They also pride themselves in making their dishes healthy. From Lasagna and meatloaf to soups and salads and sandwhiches they deserve your buisness. We stayed in the resorts on the coast and they were worth the drive. Note hours were listed as 7:30am to 4:00pm. They are hard to find this is what I consider the easy way. Drive into the Parking lot at the Parker Ranch Strip mall drive the front section until you can find food court. Now park you vehicle. Walk into the food court and out the back side of the food court. walk down the side walk and you will run into the Lilikoi Cafe with in 50yards are less. Enjoy they are worth the trip.

Had a delicious meat loaf lunch here. Everything in the display looks eccentric but deliciously interesting. A great spot for lunch, but a bit hard to find. Located in the shopping center, but in the back... so drive around, not through, the main road parking lot.

Cafe was good food but so expensive for the set up and hard to find location. I ate here for breakfast and for two small breakfast burritos and a coffee it was $35! I drove around in the parking lot for 10 minutes and had to call to find out it's located behind the Parker ranch shopping center. Friendly people, but overpriced if you ask me

Had a chance to have lunch there yesterday, and YUM! It's hard to find a place with authentic healthy food that also tastes great. But if you are in the Big Island this is the place. PS, try the fresh made (in front of you) pineapple-orange blend, best juice I ever had. Mahalo John.

We just came from one of the best eateries in Waimea. Authentic, fresh food. YUMMY! Try their salads or creamy soups with a sandwich. Warms the tummy. Homemade desserts too - cobbler, brownies. I'm getting hungry again LOL!! Add to the great food, the cool breezes of Waimea and the views of Mauna Kea. They're easy to find - right behind Parker Shopping Center. Lots of parking. Open 6 days a week.

Looking at all the 5 stars from past reviewers, I can't help thinking I ate at a different cafe, but nope, it was the same. I ordered the veggie-burger and received a tough, leathery garden burger. It was close to closing time so perhaps it was left over. It was not moist or fresh tasting at all. The carrot ginger juice was freshly squeezed and quite interesting. I might come back if I needed a quick sandwich, but if I wanted a dining experience, I would not choose this place. Definitely overrated!

We got hungry while exploring and were looking for an affordable place to eat with a casual local vibe. We happened upon this restaurant, the menu had the comfort of home cooking including lots of salad choices, and the prices were reasonable, so we gave it a try and truly enjoyed our meal. I had the chicken special, my friend the meatloaf special. We shared the bread pudding for dessert. They had an Australian ginger beer (Bundaberg) that is a must if you like ginger beer. It was really nice to have a healthy and tasty lunch that didn't cost us $60 - $100. For the two of us we were in the $30s range and had more than we could eat and drink. The service was friendly, the restaurant was clean, and there's plenty of parking at the shopping center. We didn't expect to thumbs up a strip mall cafe. A reminder while traveling to be open open open.

Wonderful selection of salads, very artfully done dishes for a small cafe! Lots of healthy food... Glad I found this place!

This is hands down my FAVORITE little cafe when I visit the Big Island!!! I was introduced to it by a client of mine and have been hooked ever since. It's a small little cafe that has so many home-cooked items to choose from (including a fridge case that has many types of cold salads that you can get to go). I always get the veggie burger and it is one of my absolute favorites! It has the most unique flavor with this white sauce that adds the right amount of tangy zip - SO GOOD! One note of caution.. as evidence of this place's good food, the wait can be long... so if you are ordering takeout, call AHEAD! I learned that the hard way :)

Really friendly staff. A lot of variety for a small eatery. I had the meatloaf lunch plate which included mashed potato and salad. It was standard comfort food. Price was moderate.

My husband had a colonoscopy so right next to the hospital is Parker Ranch Center. We decided to eat at the Lilikoi Cafe there. Excellent food and pastries! Hubby had the poached eggs breakfast and I had the strawberries and bananas crepe. They were yummy. We were full so had to take pastries home. Highly recommended spot. Nice and quiet spot to meet someone.

Great lunch spot in the Waimea area. We arrived in town around 2:30 and had missed the lunch hour at the restaurants but were lucky enough to get some local advice to check out Lilikoi Cafe. The salads were delicious and the service was great. the cafe serves all kinds of fresh salads and sandwichs as well as great juices, coffee and tea. The seating area has a few 4-person tables but is spacious and can accommodate larger groups as well.

Looking for a spot to grab a to-go dinner, Lilikoi Cafe was still open & we were close by Led to believe their veggie burgers were homemade, turned out they're not - maybe they used to be? Anyway, it was a decent frozen patty & we liked the avocado-mango salad we had chosen to pair it with - large chunks of each so you got creamy or sweet in each bite Also decided to indulge in a Pineapple-Orange juice but it just was on the bitter side & not enough pineapple flavor. Too much pith on the oranges but have to give props for juicing it right as we requested so I could see her throwing in all the fruits Would we come back? Might check out to see if other spots were around but wouldn't say no

Great place ginger with warm water was ordered up for me as I wasn't feeling to great and the lady behind the counter offered it up. Food was very good and the service even better. Will defiantly head back to this cafe!

Don't judge a book by its cover! Tucked away in a strip mall up in the beautiful town of Waimea...everything in here was delicious. The turkey cranberry sandwich is a MUST. Fantastic iced coffee as well.

Big fan! My boyfriend and I came here twice within two days. We happened to be in Waimea doing other things and he had told me about Lilikoi Cafe so we had to get in there. The food is delicious and the choices... I was really impressed. Juice is freshly pressed when ordered and everything seemed fresh. There are a lot of vegan and vegetarian options available. It was very delicious. One time we went for lunch and ordered a bunch of items to share. The next day we came for breakfast and had the place to ourselves. Prices are reasonable for what you're getting. I can't wait to come back and enjoy more items on the menu!

Excellent food! As a Kamuela local, I often find it hard to find fresh, healthy, local food in the area (unless you are prepared to drop $200 on the meal, in which case go to Merrimens). Fresh juices, smoothies, veggie dishes, meat dishes, sweets; everything is delicious!!!

I love the healthy food, however the service was NOT friendly. We are Big Island residents. Brought my elderly mother there for lunch after an appointment with her heart doctor. No one greeted us at the counter. Stood there while the female employee gave us a glance, then kept her back to us. Then, the male cook (owner?) walked out from the kitchen, while on the phone. He was on a personal call. He just looked at us standing there. I thought to myself, let me give them a moment to finish what was on their minds. I took my mom to a table. Came back and stood there like an idiot, while these two continued to glance my way and never say a word. I went to help my mom up and out we went. Ate at the deli in the health food store on the other side of Parker Ranch Shopping Center. Auwe! Not going back.

Veggie burger is frozen, not homemade as previous reviews led me to believe. Didn't try the various deli salads but they looked fresh.

It's hard to find but well worth it. Look for the food court in the strip mall / supermarket. Walk thru the food court and out the back door, then follow the sidewalk toward the back of the shops. Very friendly, breakfast, sandwiches, juices. Had the salad greens with tortellini. Recommended!

Love the veggie crapes, love the chicken crapes, but most of all I love the carrot ginger soup! The carrot ginger soup is absolutely amazing, smooth, creamy, Little bit spicy but not overpowering it really sticks to your ribs. I only wish they would make it more often!

It was raining, we were hungry, and grumpy and tired. Then came the ray of sunshine - Lilikoi Cafe! It is a little challenging to find, kind of on the backside of the complex. If your GPS gets you there and you still can't find it then push on. It's there and I promise it's worth it. What looked like just a little hole in the wall in a strip mall ended up being one of our best meals on the island. My Mom had soup and salad, Dad had a salad and I had a veggie burger. Since they were all vegetarian I could try a little of everyones. All of the food was divine. The best was the creamy in house salad dressing that actually has lilikoi in it. So freaking delish. Everything was very fresh and very well priced. Good deal, good food, good service. All over win

Really enjoyed a healthy lunch here. Everyone in the family ordered a fresh squeezed juice and I had a tasty veggie burger. My husband indulged in a homemade cake that was delicious. Definitely one of my favorite meals here on the Big Island. Don't be turned off by the location - it is worth a stop!

Look Mom! I ate vegan food! I was really hesitant to eat here because I love meat. But my co-worker and I had eaten pretty unhealthy on the trip so far, so we decided to do something good for ourselves and make our moms proud! I got a smoothie (which was awesome!) and the tofu wrap. It had Vegan-mayo on it and I was scurred. I thought it would taste like... vegan. But I was pleasantly surprised at how creamy the vegan-mayo was and the marinated tofu wrap was HUGE! My co worker got a tuna sandwich and she like it too. We had brought our own chips from Kona chip company and they didn't have a problem with us eating outside food. While it's not something that's usually in my repertoire I'd be willing to eat here every now and again if simply so I can eat a big fat steak for dinner and not feel so guilty about it.

One of my favorite places on the island. Everything is yummy. It is on the healthier side of things. Owner is French and serious. The ambience is plain and casual. Parking is easy. Seats are available inside and out, but, it can get chilly from time to time. Restrooms are located in the food court area, in the center of the shopping center. Love this place!
