Pretty typical Starbucks but for some reason it is extra loud. You have to raise your voice just to place an order...Not a great spot to hang out.

I would definitely say, that this starbucks it's awesome! Staff: The staff here is super friendly, and they make awesome secret underground drinks lol, this is where my friend comes and she shows me those drinks. She's a regular here so they know her. Drinks: Drinks are always on point! I can't tell you what I got in the picture below, but man that was super delish! I probably can't create it unless I come back to this location. But the other times that I've ordered here, they never get it wrong or keep you waiting. I will say that with construction at McDonald's though, the parking situation gets a little crazy. Hopefully that should be done soon.

This is the Starbucks you go to in Kailua when you don't want to deal with the cluster f..., uh, Starbuck parking lot at the town location. Parking is easy if you don't bang your fender on the wall like I did. Service is friendly, but they serve coffee cold when it's supposed to be hot. Pastries are the same as all Starbucks. They are serving Top Pot style doughnuts that are not called Top Pot any more. If the Kailua town Starbucks is the Starbucks of the tourists, than this is the Starbucks of the soccer moms. Watch out, they all have their gold cards. And they order the triple venti, doppio shotted, mocha mocha crispy, rappachio featuring Jay-Z. And you have to wait behind them.

Go to this Starbucks if you don't want to wait in line and fight for parking. This location closes earlier at night than the Starbucks on Kailua road. Friendly staff that remembers your drink! :)

Nothing but nerdy, awkward love for the morning baristas here! They welcome me with a smile -- even when they're swamped. They remember my order -- even when I've been gone for weeks. And they hold my hand through the Starbucks website like the Amish-refugee-from-technology that I am. It's nice having these girls as part of my morning routine -- it's a happy way to start the day! Their early A.M. crew is definitely their top team. (I think other Yelpers are reviewing the later afternoon crew, who are kinda not so awesome. Like microwaved crap is kinda not so awesome.)

Best baristas, friendly staff and quick service. My fave stop for a quick am fix or afternoon pick-me-up if I need a boost. This spot is safe and friendly with tons of friends for flashbacks and memories (and a lot of police officers hang here) so you don't need to worry about trouble! Lol

Last day at this location due to my job completing in this area! Couldn't ask for a better send off! My order was complete three people a head of me, all I had to do was open the app and pay for my order! Ha'anoi is the best employee on the morning shift! She tries to remember the regulars' name and order! Very talented! Don't forget to tip your baristas!

Summer Star Dash is currently going on, so I feel obligated to go to Starbucks daily. Today, I was in the Enchanted Lakes area and decided to try the Enchanted Lakes Starucks. It is kind of awkwardly long and narrow and a little crowded. There were also no open tables. I think they should look at getting a larger space, but the Enchanted Lakes Shopping Center is kind of small to begin with. The baristas were nice enough, but they were out of Orange Mango. I hate when things are out of things, but don't show it on the menu. I got to the front of the line and ordered my Orange Mango drink. The cashier apologized and told me they were out. :( I was so focused on my usual drink that I was at a loss for what my second choice would be :/ It was awkward and I wished they would have put that on the menu board. I wouldn't have wasted the other customers' time. They have a water dispenser open to customers, which is cool, but the milk/sugar counter was a little messy. Being OCD, I felt compelled to help them clean up a little while I waited for my second choice drink. I won't come back here to do work, since it seemed really crowded, with people standing around waiting for tables to open and moving chairs from one end the store to the other. It's the only Starbucks in the area though, so I'll probably be back for take out, even though there was constantly a line while I was there. The wi-fi also didn't work.

One of the better Starbucks for me. The staff (Baristas) are always so full of energy. You can tell that this crew gets along really well. I cant really say much about a Starbucks because....well its Starbucks. Im such a fan for the over roast beans along with the various flavors they come up with. Its located in the older Kailua so its not as crowded as the one in Kailua town. There is plenty of parking in the morning in this shopping center so Ill take the beaten path of an extra 5 minutes to get here.

Does anyone work here ? Or do they all just kinda wear the aprons and talk to people outside the service area while 4 different people are standing in line...bored....and waiting... yes I'm glad you and your friend could catch up that must be nice but I think when you're working you should probably tend to your customers.

This SBUX is mediocre, staff is ehhhhhh. I said thank you but was ignored ... Some of the Customers lack common courtesy like saying "excuse me" when they need to walk pass you in the small confinement of the store. Drink was good but the atmosphere lacked the friendly SBUX feel.

This has gotta be thee worst Starbucks on island. Slow service. Rude employees. Messy store.... At 9 am on a Sunday I expect it to be busy and I'm sure the baristas are used to the morning rush and trying their best to accommodate.... But seriously what happened to service with a smile?

This is by far my favorite Starbucks on the island. It's never too crowded and they always are fast, friendly, and FUN. The staff treats you like family, and they know you by name, not just drink. Most of them have have been working at that this location for years so they have lots of experience with both the company and the clientele. The one and only downfall is that they close a little earlier than most.

I found myself here @ Starbucks in the heart of Kailua town, after visiting the other Starbucks in the Kailua Shopping Center. I needed to recharge my iPhone, but it was certainly busy and I did not want to make a purchase. I had previously loved to come to Starbucks for their drinks, frappuchinos, and their good bakery selections, but right now, I'm going cold turkey and shying away from them. The great thing about Starbucks is that they don't kick you out for hanging out in their store and appear to be working or reading. Or using their electricity for your iPhone. That's a great thing. As long as you don't make a scene or cause trouble, I suppose. Love the staff for doing so, wherever Starbucks I visit. This Starbucks suits me just fine and I would love to come back. The atmosphere is relatively quiet, depending on what part of the seating area you decide on gravitating to. The staff always provides good service and I am grateful for that. They are located in the Keolu Shopping Center, which is basically a strip mall in Kailua, within humble residential surroundings. It's almost secluded in a way, from the hustle and bustle of the main thoroughfare of Oneawa / Kailua / Kuulei roads. This is vintage Starbucks and I will be back - even though I am choosing not to be a Starbucks drinker anymore, I do love to just hang out here. They have free wifi here and ts just a terrific place to just free your mind. A++

"Faux-bux" Remember those knock-off Apple stores in China last summer? You know, where the entire store is created to look exactly like an Apple store and the employees believed they were actually working for the company. That's how I feel about this place. It looks like an Sbux but something isn't quite right. Is it the coffee? Service? Customer base? Perhaps I'm spoiled by my regular location that this one leaves more to be desired. The service wasn't slow, just awkward and uneasy. Today our coffee was served luke-warm and the iced-espresso was over brewed. We'll be back because its close to home, but Fauxbucks, you can't fool me!

I experienced extremely poor customer service today. When I walked in two employees were at the register with their backs turned to me. It appeared a manager was training an employee. They knew I was there but waited a good 20 seconds to turn around and acknowledge me. No one says "sorry for waiting", or "hey so sorry about that". Absolutely terrible. Then a barrista comes in from back and starts rapping Ludicris's "Roll Out" at the top of his lungs. I'm waiting and he's YELLING "You must have eyes in your back cause you got money to the ceiling" "Tell me who's your weed man and how do you smoke so good". By this point I'm just like FML get me out of here. I'm spending my hard earned money just to be annoyed by some shaggy haired idiot. Even the other employees looked embarassed. Total BS.

I live two minutes away from this Starbucks and absolutely LOVE it! There is hardly ever a line and when there is a line, it moves really fast. The baristas are amazing and really take the time to get to know their customers. They learn your names and take the time to learn about the drink you like and perfect it to your liking. They even suggest things based upon your preferences. Wonderful staff! Love it!

    (4)
  • Matt H.

Great thing about this place is there was no line. The negative about the this place is drinks did not taste the same with other Starbucks. Even through the drinks were not good I still like this place for the environment.

This Starbucks is hardly ever crowded when I go. Although, there is sometimes no parking because people park in front of Starbucks to go to Ben Franklin or what not. Sigh. But all in all, I think this location is really good. They're friendly, and they haven't messed up my drink order. They always have a fresh stock of pastries. I hate it when I go to a Starbucks, and they run out of my favorite pastry or turkey pesto sandwiches.

    (4)
  • Vanessa B.

Maybe I'm used to the awesome friendly staff at the Ward location? Or maybe the staff here aren't too thrilled with their job or were just having a bad day? Anyway, I'd like to order my drink and not feel as if I'm bothering someone behind the counter with my order. Learn to smile and be welcoming.

    (1)
  • Shelley V.

This Starbucks suited me just fine. Especially because I waited in the car while M got the coffee. He says this location was your standard service and the drink orders came out correct. Drinks tasted the normal Starbucks goodness and all was right with the world!

  • Beerent G.

Very unprofessional of your employees to be arguing what Starbucks return policy is. Seems like this location the employees (all females) rather talk amongst themselves rather helping the customers. I hope this location gets its fair share of secret shoppers.

It's actually average. I'm in SB 1-2 times a day, especially in town. This location is nearest to my house so I go there every weekend. The other location in Kailua town never has parking. Anyhow, the staff is less than average. I've been there on 2 recent occasions and some of the young baristas act immature shouting and joking with each other while you're trying to place an order. I'm the only one placing an order and it literally takes them more than 5 minutes just to make my ice tea because they're too busy entertaining each other and forget the customer....or forget how to act in front of customers. One guy was sitting on the counter next to the register leaving me to hand my money over the counter because his ass was in the way! When I ordered my normal ice tea, the barista insisted he make it another way for me to try. Even after I said no he was already having the other barista start on it. Less than average service to me.

    (3)
  • Kat K.

I live close so I come here when I'm in a rush and the customer service is always terrible. My order has been made wrong numerous times and when I ask them to redo it I'm always met with rudeness. And also they don't stir/blend the drinks well, my green tea lattes always have clumps of matcha. It's worth driving to a local cafe or another Starbucks if you have the time.
