High Cholesterol at Whataburger

Calorie intake is the main concern for people with high cholesterol while dining at a fast-food restaurant like Whataburger. Well, you can always try the Lighter & Smaller options from the menu to cut down your fat intake. Opting for grilled sandwich or burgers are preferred compared to double meat or triple meat cheesy burgers which contain high cholesterol.

Foods to Avoid at Whataburger for High Cholesterol

Cut down on your meat intake to control your high cholesterol. You must skip Double Meat Whataburger and Triple Meat Whataburger at all costs. We wanted to get chicken fries, an Oreo shake and strawberry sundae. Clerk #0013 had a terrible attitude. We waited for her to take our order at the drive thru and should have expected the bad attitude since she took a long time taking the order and we had to repeat our order several times. We get to the window and her "sour face" matched her bad attitude, no greeting she hands me the strawberry sundae with out a word. I attempt to give her my credit card, she walks away without taking it. She comes back and takes it again without a word to me. I ask her for sweet and sour sauce. She hands me my card and receipt without saying a word or confirming my request. She yells at her coworker to get the chicken fries, I request the sweet and sour sauce she says "yeah". Good news is she can hear and speaks, bad news she has a limited vocabulary and a bad attitude. She hands me the shake and fires without saying a word to us. I say thank you and as we drive off #0013 yells at somebody in the store. Store manager, please help #0013 she is going to drive business away. We live in Kailua and are thinking about driving to Kaneohe when we get the urge for BK which is already a rare event.

A friend posted a coupon for a free soft serve ice cream at Burger King. Went to claim my soft serve with coupon in hand and was told they are not participating. Auwe! Aside from this little annoyance, I think their food sucks. No taste at all. No non-meat options. I'm not satisfried!

I hate to buck the trend, but this BK is my go-to place. We often place humongous orders for our church and Shirley and the gang never let us down. Everything is always ready on time, fresh and hot ... never a snag. So from me, nothing but snaps for Aikahi BK. Good job, good food ... good deal!

I was too lazy to make myself lunch so I wanted to eat a whopper from Burger King! I ordered two whoppers with fries and a drink for me and my husband. When I got home there was only one whopper and there was only one pack of fries! Being the hungry pregnant lady I am, I drove back and they remembered that they forgot the whopper and gave me a free extra fries and drink.

The Whopper has a very specific smell. I can smell it on someone who has eaten there. Not a good thing. If you blew all your money on booze the night before and need to put food in your stomach eat here. Otherwise keep walking.

The food here is standardized so the most important reviews come from the other factors. This restaurant is not good dine-in for babies. I'm typing this review with one hand as I hold my baby in the other because for some reason they only have one high chair... The update is gorgeous and modern, so that's cool. The staff are polite but just a touch under aware of anything going on which is annoying.

This "restaurant" gets such a low score plainly because of the incompetent employees working there(which seems to be a habit all across Oahu), and their infamous screw ups. I always seem to get in this bk when it's slow, and I always get frustrated at the service. When taking your order, the employees are neither nice nor rude, but they're always SLOW! Especially if they've only got a few customers at the moment. They have absolutely *NO* sense of urgency, and if you're in the drive thru it's incredibly likely they've missed an order of fries or gave you 9 nuggets instead of 10. The food is OK, as it is unhealthy, full of preservatives, and is wildly processed. while tasting alright.

The restaurant was clean; my burger and fries were served piping hot! I ordered a medium double cheeseburger combo meal on two separate occasions. Staffers in this restaurant believe in serving hot food quickly. The order taker was polite and smiling and gave great customer service, suggestive selling dessert which I thanked her for but politely declined. The food was delicious and satisfying; service was better than that I've experienced on the mainland. I'm pleased and will be back!

One of the worst kept BK's on Oahu. Always seems to be dirty...tables, floors, rubbish area. Also way too hot inside, trust me it's cooler outside. As soon as I walked in, I remembered exactly why I drive through 90% of the time. Oh yeah, and these are the good things about the restaurant. There seems to be a tight-knit group that works at this BK. Possibly family, but who knows. Some of the same folks have been working for this place for at least a few years now. One clearly has CS nailed, the rest, well they don't need to work around the public in any fashion. Stopped in today to grab my kids a quick bite after walking in the Kailua Town Parade. They had a deal going for the 4th that has been heavily promoted in media, Chx Sammy for $2.04. Cool, I like to save a buck with three mouths to feed. Me: Can I please have 5 Original Chicken sandwiches, 5 value fries and 5 value drinks? Manger: Yotogh harve t pay sqashfp the sickle sumches. Me: Pardon me? Manger: Yotogh harve t pay sqashfp the sickle sumches. So this went on for about a minute and on the 5th exchange, I finally discovered that I was being asked to pay cash for only the CHX sammies. Huh, WTF. I asked why, and after a similar destruction of an English convo, it turned out that their computer had not been keyed to allow the special to be ...well, I don't know WTF she was saying, basically it was cash only for the CHX Sammy promos. OK whatever, but the fact that she was rude about it was what was pretty much not OK about the experience. 10 minutes in a line, in a sweltering restaurant at the 12 noon lunch rush on one of the busiest days in Kailua. If it were me, and I wanted to truly provide solid Customer Service, UMMMM, hey..... SIGN!!! Ya know the ones you see when a restaurant unfortunately has a system crash where they can't take debit or credit. I have a great idea on exactly how I'd word it to. "Our apologies, the July 4th Chicken Sandwich promo is for cash purchases only. We apologize for the inconvenience". Simple, folks see it ahead of time and bang...it's all good. Yup, I'm ranting on this one and I know this but stupidity and rudeness will tick me off every time in the Customer Service department.

Don't get me wrong...I love Burger King. So this review is mainly a 2 star because of this particular branch, NOT because of the food itself.... Now, for us ordering such simple items: a whopper jr. combo w/ a dr pepper, another whopper jr., a small onion rings, & a 4 pc chicken nuggets we did not expect to be sitting at the drive thru window for what felt like an eternity..........& on top of that they didn't even have Dr. Pepper!!! But, the worse part about it is the worker at the window looked very unpleasant..she didn't really acknowledge us (except for her taking our money) once she got that she pretty much just left the window with us sitting there thinking "what's going on?" & "why is it taking so long?" I think we waited for a good 5 minutes before we got our order, which the manager handed to us saying "thank you" with a smile....... I guess what upset me the most was that this "WORKER" didn't have the decency to let us know it was gonna be a few minutes for the fries or whatever it was we were waiting for..she just left us hanging like idiots..i DEFINATELY didn't appreciate that..i know no one would...maybe that "worker" was just having a bad day, maybe she's always like that, I don't know but I felt the situation was handled all wrong.... Nothing spectacular about the food...it is just Burger King we are talking about...it was good, the order was correct, I guess that's all that matters when it comes to fast food...

I stop by here a lot since it's close to where I live. It's often not crowded and the food comes in a timely manner. Just recently, they've started to redocorate the place so it looks a lot nicer now. I usually order the chef's special and a side salad. I've tried the apple pie (go for McDonalds) and the milkshakes (taste like the Thirst Aid's ones that use to be in Ala Moana). That being said, I prefer BK to MD's.

this is the slowest bk ive ever been to. most of the workers there look like they dont even want to be there. i waited one time 15 mins for one meal. only reason i go there is because its the closest one.

It's burgers , it's flame broiled and it's a super long line from 11 till 1 or so. Seems like alot of military comes off the base to grab some burgers. I'm a sucker for their ice coffee drink which isn't made to order. I had the pleasure of watching them go into their refrigerator and pour me a nice iced coffee.

I ate a teriyaki burger at Burger King and liked it so much I ordered another one the following week. However, my second teriyaki burger was not as good, because the cook mistakenly put ketchup on it. On my next visit, I was determined not to let this happen again, so I told the woman who took my order about the ketchup mishap. "We never put ketchup on our teriyaki burgers," she assured me. "I'm sure there was ketchup on my burger the last time I was here," I countered. The woman collected my money, walked into the kitchen area to speak with the cook assembling my burger, and then returned to the front. I moved to the side to let the person behind me order while keeping a close eye on the woman preparing my burger. Suddenly, I saw her grab a red squeeze bottle (the kind to dispense ketchup) and started squeezing it over my burger. "She's putting ketchup on my burger!" I yelled, trying to get the attention of the woman at the counter. "She's putting ketchup on my burger!" The startled cook stopped, held up the red bottle, and said to me, "Sir, this is teriyaki sauce."
