It's a bar at the pool of some sort of resort. The entrance is kinda awkward and it sits just above the pool where the resort patrons are splashing around. We only had tacos there on Tuesday (due to proximity and us being lazy and not wanting to cook). The tacos are like your own homemade tacos but with less flavor, packaged shredded cheese (eeew) and strange meat. Server was friendly. Hence the two stars. You're better off getting deli meat and make a sando at home. Lesson learned.

Meh sums up my thoughts pretty well. We got the cobb salad (salty and a rather small quantity), the hawaiian quesadilla (pineapples were good, but the meat was somewhat tough and didn't taste good), and the cheese crisp (WAY TOO SALTY, definitely a do not recommend, especially at the price). The price was not great either; I was unhappy because the front desk said we would have a 10% discount, but the activities desk was closed, so we did not get it.

Editors note: Josh is on vacation and his reviews will be written while under the influence of mass amounts of alcohol. Loved this place. It has a beautiful views of the ocean and the night we visited a wonderful and soothing band played Hawaiian music. Gorged myself on the Kona Dip. Mass amounts of smoked prime rib, mozzarella, peppers, onions and mushrooms on a hoagie roll. Bathed the hoagie in jus and washed it down with a Blue Hawaiian. Perfect!

Sent back inedible chicken strips and got chicken quesadilla which was $12.95 and had maybe 2oz of chicken and so many jalapeños that it was also inedible. The only thing worse than the food is the service. I stay at this resort 7-10 weeks a year and love it but I can not recommend Aloha Friday's. Many other better choices close by.

Close enough to walk to from our room, this place has a view that is just amazing. Not only do you see the tropical pool, but the maintained golf course, the twin blow holes and if you time it right... the most amazing sunset! But I'm not here to talk about the view, the food is really what you want to hear about, am I right? Well the mixed drinks are delicious, and reasonably priced and our meals - the husbeast had the BBQ Pork and I had the catch of the day Fish and chips (ono), and let me tell you, we couldn't have chosen better! The pork was tender and juicy and for me, I'm not a big fish eater. The ono was absolutely amazing! Flaky, thick and so fresh. I would certainly order this again!

It's in the Kona Coast Resort....right above the "loud" pool. Bartenders give mad aloha. The mai tais are pretty cheap. The food is fried. You can pretty much jump directly into the pool from drinking at the bar. Yah. Aloha and Mahalo.

It's not too bad. I got the bbq pulled pork with coleslaw. It was just average. My mil got the chicken tacos and thought they were very good though. Their pina coladas were very good though. I would definitely recommend trying them.

Have to second Holly N.'s opinion on the waitress. Zero food & beverage skills, and the personality of a coconut. Beer was barely below room temperature, pizza was taken from the freezer, waived at the microwave, and brought to the table 30 minutes later...at the same time the chips-n-salsa we ordered were. Salsa was served in a dixie cup...chips wouldn't even fit in the small container. Sent the pizza back to be heated...it came back colder than when it was sent back. No offers of refills on beverages, no visits to the table except to bring the check. This was our first experience at the resort the evening we checked in, and thankfully we got the bad experience out of the way early. The rest of the place is first class. I just won't be dropping any more money in the "restaurant."

Do not eat here!! Horrible. Wait. Did that really happen? Yes I feel bad that Beth - the waitress is alone, we were sitting at a table for breakfast for 20 minutes and the waitress completely ignored us. Then she walks over and takes an order from another couple that's just been seated. WTH! My husband walked over to her and asked why she ignored us. She said that she doesn't have time to take care of us. We just up and left. We complained to management. Hope she gets a reprimanding and how to better treat customers.

I got the portuguese sausage, eggs, and rice breakfast which was yummy and it hit the spot, but it was pricey for a simple breakfast, $12.99!

Plenty of aloha spread around here. My sister and I split the BBQ pork sandwich and chicken strips. Made me feel like a kid again. I definitely recommend the coleslaw. It was sweetened with pineapple chucks and the best I've ever had.

The food is OK. The service is terrible. Especially if you bar tender is Jourdynn. It seems as if she hates her job. Constantly checking her cell phone. And hardly doing anything to ensure your visit is enjoyable. Unfortunately, 2 out of 3 times I came here, she was my server/bar tender and they were out of orange juice and POG. OK.... I love this resort and my condo, but they've got to step up their restaurant game.

The staff was super awesome. The tiki man out front has a striking resemblance to the owner, which I found to be great. They aren't affiliated with 'Fridays', and I was EXTREMELY surprised to hear. And they have the best banana mint mojitos around!
