Best Subway ever!!! They are real Subway artists. It was amazing looking at them making my sandwiches. They even cut tomato slices in halves so that it was more easy to eat. They nicely asked me and my bf if we needed extra vegetable or anything else. They made our day. I'm glad that I came to this place.

The two employees working today were awesome; Hands down the best service I've ever had at any Subway. The ladies really were "sandwich artists." They were genuinely friendly and put love into their job; something rare to see these days. Screw Jared, those two ladies should be the new face of the franchise!

I came in around 8:10 pm, and the service was great. The workers at this particular Subway blew my mind with their level of attentiveness and genuine good work ethics. Others should take note.

Let's talk sandwiches. I like all sorts. The healthy and veggie packed, the meat-stuffed, gravy drenched. Hot, cold, and breads of every kind. This Subway actually gets it right. Right enough that I've gone here more times than I can count--or more than I'd like to admit. I love getting breakfast here, affordable, delicious, served till 11am. Meat (Bacon or ham), egg (regular or whites), cheese, and whatever veggies you like. I usually throw on bell peppers, onions, olives, maybe jalapenos, and mustard. Because I love mustard. I love it. Mustard. Also, their veggie patty is actually very good! For something different, get it with Chipotle sauce instead of mayo and mustard. Or for when I've feeling particularly carnivorous, the Spicy Italian is always a winner. Get that thing toasted. In the past 5-6 years, I've had only a few bad experiences here. Once it was because the veggie patty (my favorite sandwich) came from the freezer, and the person forgot to thaw it in the microwave before putting it in the toaster. Make sure they do that! It wasn't frozen, but it was cold. Oh well. Maybe a few times the employees weren't the best.. but what are you gonna do? Most the time they are generous with the fillings, they'll put extra veggies if you ask. Take note: toward closing time, they often run low on breads and usually only have white and wheat, and flat bread. $5 footlongs would be amazing, but I usually end up paying $6-7. Doesn't have the same ring to it, but it's reasonable. What can I say, I've got no complaints about this Subway. The sandwiches won't blow your mind, but they'll satisfy your tummy and your pocket book.

I went around 12 pm and surprisingly it wasn't busy at all. Normally each Subway chain has a "flow" to your order--bread, cheese, sauce, veggies, salt/pepper, as it makes its way down the line and at the end you pay. Well, this was the first time as I am ordering with the sandwich maker, the cashier looks at me and says "what you ordering, I'm ringing you up now." It threw me off because never have I been asked that in the middle of my cheese of choice. I could understand if I was taking forever to decide on what to order and they wanted to move the line along, but I wasn't. So I politely told the cashier "I'm ordering two more sandwiches, is that okay?" She replied "what are they?" I told her and had to repeat the other two sandwiches to the maker so she could get them started, which I thought created more work and confusion because the man in back of me only ordered one sandwich and ended up paying before me, so she had to erase my transaction to ring him up. Also, because they both heard my order, for some reason one of them made my order twice! Overall, the sandwich taste the same as any other Subway. But, if the owner is reading this, I think you should train (or re-train) your employees on the ordering process, since it's probably standardized by the Subway Corporation and maybe if they follow it consistently, they won't waste food products, which will help keep cost down.

Just your typical Subway located in the Manoa Shopping plaza. Lines are kept to a minimum during the lunch hours - about 4-5 people deep. The employees make some great tasting sandwiches here, and they are not afraid to put a generous portion of ingredients into the sandwich. My only *minor* complaint was that the young lady behind the counter really didn't seem to be having a good day and she was super grumpy during our visit. I'll chalk it up to it being an off day for her. SMILES! Food Grade: B Service Grade: C Worth the Money Grade: B+ Overall Impression: B-

Let me start this review by saying that I like Subway. I often stop by here on my way to work to get breakfast and I eat lunch here at least a couple times a month. However, based on my recent experience, I don't think I'll be returning. I ordered a bacon egg flatbread. When asked what veggies I want on it, I said "Onions, green peppers, tomato and a couple banana peppers." The worker then informed me that I could only choose THREE vegetables to go on my sandwich. I was surprised and I asked why and he said "We're not supposed to." I responded "Yeah , but the whole point of subway is that you get to choose your own veggies... that's subway's whole gimmick!" And he replied "Well, all the stores are doing it." If that is the case I want them to put a sign on the wall in plain view warning customers that your can only choose a LIMITED number of vegetables. Seems ridiculous to me. This subway has always been kinda stingy with their vegetable, but to be told I have to limit my selections... damn. The icing on the cake was that when I changed my order (to onion, green pepper, banana pepper) the worker told me he didn't cut the onion yet, so he didn't have any. This was at 8:20am and the store opens at 7am. If he hadn't had time, fine, but it seems to me the right thing to do would be to offer to cut some RIGHT NOW. How long could it take? But he didn't offer. At this point I was feeling pretty sour towards subway so I just took my sandwich and left. I doubt I'll be back. In short: Subway limits the number and type of vegetables you can get on a sandwich. Eat fresh, indeed, subway.

Everything was great except for one thing... The lady we had was very anal, which made her very slow. She had to put the veges in a certain order and she laid them down very nicely. One by one. The 3 people that were behind us, got their order before us and left. She was just suuuuuuper slooooooooooooooow. But YAY for subway...$6 foot longs!!!

Not the best subway ive been to, but there was nothing wrong. Veggies were fresh and everything seemed in stock, even the chocolate chip cookies. Not much seating though. However because it's not a busy place I'm sure you can be able to grab a seat. I haven't experienced much with their customer service. It wasn't excellent but they were nice and weren't rude. I've only been here once so gotta see how it is to make more of a judgement. They did give a lot of veggies though so I'm happy about that. Really fast and they're understandable. I give it four out of five stars because I experienced nothing wrong, had a good customer service, but didn't feel like they did their best, like the uh campus one.

This subway is pretty close to my house so I always come here when I want lunch, sometimes dinner. The lines during peak times move really quickly, and it takes me forever to decide what kind of sandwich I want so it helps that I have to wait. You see some of the same workers here all the time working the day shifts but it seems like they always have someone new working there too. They are usually a little skimpy with the vegetables, but if you ask for more, they don't give you the WTF face which is nice. Overall, it's convenience and lack of choices in Manoa Marketplace that keeps me coming back here. Can't go wrong with $6 footlong Pulled Pork subs either, unless its $6 everywhere... then I don't feel as special for coming here,.

As I was creating this yelp location so I could check in, my sister started throwing up. Food poisoning. Maybe I shouldn't have made a listing for this place but now it gets 0 stars but it won't let me. The employee was not even apologetic. Gonna have to call the health department in the morning.

I surprised my husband the other day by bringing him a Subway sandwich for lunch... he loves sandwiches but I on the other hand am not a fan of it. I like Andy's mushroom medley but that's honestly the only one I could eat all the time. My husband can eat one everyday for like every meal but then again he's easy to please. This location is kinda tiny compared to the other ones that I've been to but I've never eaten here so it doesn't matter. On a random note, this was the first Subway I'd ever been to when I was a kid and my mom wanted to pick something up that was fast food other than McDonald's. Anyway, food was like your average Subway but they weren't generous with their veggies like the Kaimuki Subway. However, when I did ask for more pickles for my husband's sandwich, the worker was more than happy to oblige. Four stars because while they had a line, they were quick and the people were friendly :).
