I'm not a fan of coffee, yet I find myself here almost everyday! Partly because baristas Kavela, Amy and Dina are so awesome, and partly because I come to get my fix of green tea lemonade with matcha! Yes, you read that right. Seriously, the first time you try it, you think ewwwwww...but the second time, you're hooked! I was!! Yes, the morning line might be long, but the staff is just awesome! Like someone else was saying, this Starbucks is like Cheers...they might not know your name, but they know your drink!

Starbucks is awesome - I used to work for one and it is nice to see all the baristas working as hard as I used to. Only downfall, the policemen next to me who are swearing about random stories. Weird!

  • Tabitha H.

Worst customer service I've ever had at a Starbucks & believe me there have been a lot. The baristas need to learn how to make their drinks the proper way & not get horrendous attitudes when they screw it up & get asked to remake it. Just remake it! I didn't order a side of argue with me with my mocha. Terrible coffee & customer service at this location.

it was ok-- service tad slow

The staff are very friendly and always smiling. My order was ready quickly. There are also plentiful amount of power outlets.

This starbucks is okay. I went here for a job interview, and i was surprised that there was a lot of seating inside. Sadly, there aren't any really good places to sit outside. they had nice chairs...not the wooden ones, but the leather ones were nice. it reminds me of the ones waikele used to have. there is tons of parking because it's in that airport shopping area. i don't think i'd ever come here to study though. too many people going in and out. it's not a real sit down and read kind of place.

  • Daniel R.

Love this Starbucks. I always stop by in the morning on my school or on my way to work. There's always a ridiculously long line but you never wait too long to get your drink. Staff is friendly and recognize you & your drink very quickly if you go in often. Haven't been here at other times than in the morning but the morning staff is great, my iced vanilla soy lattes are always perfect!

  • Arabiki D.

I swear its a little more on the expensive side due to the location. Serves the usual starbucks menu...nothing fancy! Parking is great. Staff is more or less friendly and knowledgeable about coffees!

  • Chane L.

Always busy in the mornings. Wanted a breakfast sandwich. Overheard the employee say they were sold out after I had paid and ordered, but was still charged for it. Since I was in a rush I had to get to work so next time I will get my sandwich!

This place is busy most of the time during the week especialy in the morning. A good place to go when waiting to pick up folks from the airport. or if you want to look for Choak O. he's there all the time

  • Jesiree W.

The baristas here are cheerful even early in the morning and despite the long morning lines. If you frequent here they will eventually remember your drink.

  • Joson P.

This is where I go to study on the weekends. Can be a bit noisy depending on the crowd, but it's always clean, and I've never had trouble finding a seat yet. The ward location next to Wahoo has a bigger seating area, but that place is always packed!

    (4)
  • martin g.

The employees here are friendly and fast. It can be busy here in the morning, though the line will move quickly. There is a large seating area within the store and there are a few tables outside. I generally don't sit outside as the seating faces Southeast, so there is lots of sun and heat coming off the parking lot. There is more than adequate parking here.

    (3)
  • Cindy C.

Great place to study! Wifi, plenty tables, and not too crowded. Only thing is that it doesn't stay open too late. It's has very cold AC too so you may want to bring a jacket. SERVICE is friendly and my drinks always comes out good. PARKING is pretty good. There's plenty of parking but the only downfall is that it's now gated and you have to get a validation which is free for 2 hours. But it's not they're fault so I won't deduct a star. ATMOSPHERE is clean and it's mostly business people there. This is one of my best Starbucks location to go if I need to study or chill out!

I have had a positive overall experience at ATC Starbucks. The facilities are maintained well (that is, not dirty beyond what a day's rush does), the baristas are friendly, and the coffee is delicious. The line was a little long, but the ringing barista got it down fast - I was in line for maybe three minutes, tops. The girl who rang me up was quick and concise and I received my beverage (Brazil Santa Ines) pretty quickly. The girl on bar (Justine) was also more than happy to validate my parking. As I mentioned before, the lobby area is spacious and relatively clean. There's a few areas that need attention, like seating area floors that have people's crumbs. Usually the condiment bar is the messiest part of the lobby, but it was speckless this time around. The only thing I'd say this store has to work on is consistent employee friendliness and connection. While the girl on the register was fast in ringing me up, she didn't bother to call me to the register - I had to assume she was ready for me based on her deep gaze into my glasses. I say glasses because the usual connection one feels when someone peers into your eyes (your sooouuuul) wasn't present. She had that "I just barely survived morning rush" half-smile. And, despite the fact that she kindly asked for my name to write on the cup, no name was written and, thus, no name was called. Again, I had to assume that the tall Brazil Santa Ines was mine. Otherwise, everyone offered eye contact and a genuine smile, pre- and post-rush.

Probably the worst Starbucks I've been to. No greeting when we came in. He wasn't even looking at us when we were ordering. Let alone talk. Then our cup sat there for a bit waiting for our drink to be made. While 3 other workers were standing and sitting around talking. And taking crap about customers. We get our coffee and it tastes like it has been sitting all day. I drink the same thing all the time so I know when coffee tastes old. We sat at the table and the girl came behind us to restock the napkins. She just left the box there. And went to talk to her friends again. I know how serious Starbucks is with customer service. Maybe they should take a look into this one again. One star because the store was clean.

  • Ricki A.

These points were concluded after multiple visits: -Inconsistent service -Sitting area unkept, dirty table tops, chairs, and floors -Bar area could benefit from at least a wipe down every so often -Zero smiles from staff -Cold Brew Iced Coffee tasted/looked murky -Drinks made out of order, staff often creates drinks for people they know before people they do not (I ordered an unsweetened iced coffee with soy -- two ingredients, and it was done after the 'barista' made her friends drink) -Staff wearing inappropriate uniforms (fitted and thin black skirt) -Staff appearing irritated when explaining about the new parking validation procedures All in all, we the customers, work hard to earn our money and choose to come to SB to grab a nice treat for ourselves. The least we deserve is a welcoming smile and accurate service...

A Cali native, but visited from Japan. It's been years since I have been to a State side Starbucks and was happy I stopped by at this location. Yea, super busy since it's right by the airport and by the two hotels but the quality never deteriorated during my visit.

I luv luv luv this Starbucks! Figured it was time I write a review since I have over 40 check-ins at this location. I can swing by on my way to the Honolulu office anytime in the AM They open earlier than most, 4:00 AM and if I'm hitting the office by 5:00 I stop here for a double, triple shot of espresso to kick start my morning. There is always parking in the lot and it is close to the airport and my office in Mapunapuna. Wi-fi is available and you see a number of people sitting and working their little fingers off even at 5:00. Unclear if they are students, self-employed or just hanging out that early but they seem to always be there. It is spacious and fast and seems newer that some. All the items you encounter at all the other Starbucks and in the display cases, donuts, brownies, fritters, yogurt, waters and sandwiches. Hot sandwiches are available too. They can also make the big box take out coffee for meetings which is a plus but call before coming in for this one or you may be waiting for 10-15 minutes. Some of us learn the hard way! Love the egg salad on wheat and grab one if available. Friendly baristas and order takers will make your morning experience so much nicer. Moves faster than most of it's kind too and until they open a drive thru in Mapunupuna I will be stopping here.

The Starbucks on Paiea St is my waiting spot for HNL arrivals. Why would you wait on the cell phone waiting street when you could be sipping on a Flat White, a Chai Latte or a Tea-Lemonade fusion? For hot food items, I like the Spinach-Feta-Egg Wrap, only 290 calories, and pretty tasty. They also have a pretty good variety of grab and go snack packs in the refrigerated cases. They always have a line in the morning, but it moves fast enough and the parkings free while you wait.

The iced coffee is pretty good here. This is my first time here. I'll definitely come back. The baristas are friendly and the place is pretty large and clean.

What's not to like about this Starbucks location? We've been here several times and it's about time that I write a review. It's conveniently located near the Honolulu International Airport with a large parking lot. We've stopped here while either waiting to pick up an arrival or after dropping off someone at the airport. It has been recently renovated to look like the other Starbucks coffeehouse by LEED certified designers and using eco-friendly sustainable building practices. Apparently, there is also a push for the interior designers of the coffeehouses to reflect the character of the neighborhood, too. The baristas are quite friendly and efficient. Whenever we've been here, if there was a line, the baristas were able to keep up a good work pace to get the beverages out in a timely manner and correct to the customer requests. We did come here when there were only a few patrons. The baristas on-duty were able to chat with us and still got our orders out quickly. The premises were clean and the condiments were well-stocked. Admittedly, we're not "regulars" at this site but from what we've experienced, our beverages have always been prepared in a timely manner and served at the proper temperature. #326

The service was great as expected for a Starbucks. The seating was the biggest I've seen so far in Hawaii.

The barristas are fast and pleasant. Even on the days I see them have some "challenging" customers, lets face it, we're all much nicer people -after- our morning coffee, they've been nothing but cheery and nice. The barristas are great! Let's face it, I've refused repeat service to many a coffee shop for burning my espresso / coffee. This has -never- happened here. So, I've recently started putting orders in for carafes when we have big meetings. I find that $40 is a small price to pay for happy, alert business people. These carafes are great, they keep the coffee hot, they come with cups, creamer, all kinds of sweetener, napkins, and stirrers. They think of everything! Seriously, this has saved my okole on more than one occassion. It's best to call and put the order in the day before just so it's ready when you come to pick it up and you dont have to wait for them to brew another pot or something. And lastly - Thank You for being so nice to me in the morning when I'm still dragging my feet and muttering unintelligibly!

In general I think starbucks is a bit over priced, but as far as this individual location goes, the service and product at this location is good. Last time I went, the staff were very friendly in taking my order. Also has outdoor seating which is nice, and of course free wifi.

Since my last review, this Starbucks location has been renovated. The renovations have given the store a nice, fresh look. Their counter has been "flipped around" so you order on the left as you walk in and wait for your drink on the right now. They now have a nice, large fridge section on the left wall near the cash register with their box meals, sandwiches and bottled drinks. They got rid of the couches and replaced all of them with wooden tables and chairs. There's more counter space and window seating towards the back not. I am digging this new look. What I am not digging, however, is the fact that the new morning crew has slowed down. There are a lot of new faces and it seems they can't pump out drinks as quickly as they used to. My wait in line for my drinks are longer with this new crew. They still have a couple of their awesome seasoned employees but overall, this new crew has had a hard time picking up the pace.

ZERO stars! Worst Starbucks on the planet. I knew something was amiss when I picked up my cup and it was lightweight. My $5+ venti was filled just over halfway. Look at the picture to prove it and this was taken AFTER I put more milk in it. I asked to have it made extra hot and I got extra cold! If you're busy that's fine but make the damn drink properly because your coffee is not cheap! LAME!

Tried the Ethiopian reserve coffee. Special today, same price as a regular coffee. Not being a coffee expert, it had an interesting taste. Not like the regular Starbucks coffee. Not like it's bad but not sure I would get this one again. Think I'll stick with my Americano.

If I could give no stars I would. This all happened yesterday 9/7/11 around 5 pm or so. My friend, her son and I went in for an afternoon treat. Two men and a girl were working. Starbucks knows how big PSL's are, especially when they first come out. First of the guy taking our order was almost rude. He was very monotone and barely even looked at us the entire time he took our order. Almost as if we were annoying him that we were there. There were many people sitting but they all had their drinks. One man was cleaning up a spill and the girl I believe was on a break. There were about 3 people in head of us waiting to get their drinks but the guy behind the counter never made one and as it got busier he kept taking orders and the other man took FOREVER to go behind the counter and help him and actually start making drinks. He made the drinks so very very slow. I was a barista for 5 years so either he was new or no one working that shift knew what they were doing. 4 people got their drinks who ordered after us and altogether it probably took around 15-20 min for us to get our drinks. Which is outrageous. When I finally did get my drink it was more foam than anything and the milk completely tasted burnt. At that point I was so irritated at everything we just wanted to leave but we then had to wait even longer for him to validate parking. Which 3-4 other people were also waiting for. They should validate when you pay instead of making you wait even longer after terrible service to leave. Safe to say I will NEVER return to this Starbucks or recommended it to others. That staff needs a serious training session on customer service!!!!

I sometimes go to the airport to pick up friends but the securities won't let me pull over and wait for friends, not even a couple of minutes, so I go to this Starbucks and kill time while waiting for them to call me to get them. It gets busy.... Maybe other people are picking up somebody at the airport!?!? Well anyway, the staff are nice and try to make coffee as quick as possible.

I just left this Starbucks after waiting 20 minutes for my coffee b/c they completely forgot that I was there. I've never had that happen at any Starbucks before. All I got was a sorry, when instead they should have offered me a free drink. It wasn't even crowded! Additionally, whosoever idea it was to make the shopping area, where this crappy Starbucks is located, paid parking, was a complete moron. All of the businesses in this center will most likely be going out of business in the very near future b/c of it. Even though they offer a 15 minute grace period, If you go to this Starbucks, you'll probably be waiting much longer for a little cup of coffee and end up paying (unless you get a validation). The only good thing about this location is that they have a Clover coffee machine, but I pray to God that they start offering Clover brewed coffee at another nearby location because this one is a nightmare to go to.

I love the new look of this Starbucks location. They've renovated in the past year or so and their store is usually clean and also one of the busiest locations I've been to. They're located in the business district near the airport so they've got lines all day. Their open fridge is usually well-stocked with bottled juice and boxed meals. The Starbucks app is dangerous but also very convenient. I love that they throw new drinks in the mix when it's spring, summer, fall, etc. But when I find a drink that I like then they take it away and I have to wait a year for them to bring it back? Maaannnn! Customer service here is pretty good and there's always enough parking to go around. I'll be back for sure.

Just left Starbucks with nothing in hand. There was one barista behind the counter and I was the second in line. She was too busy talking to her friend that she didn't even bother to at least say I will be right with you. I have patience if they are busy but I have no patience for poor customer service.

This place can get quite busy, especially it's the only Starbucks around the airport area and Sand Island, the next closest to Sand Island is in Kamehameha Shopping Center (so I believe). Since I work at 0500 it's not too bad or busy, but once it hits 0800 it's quite busy. I would say these employees know how to work in a busy fast paced environment and are always helpful when answering questions. This was the first place I ever tried a flat white from, I had it with soy milk - I can't really have regular milk - they said it would be sweeter. If you want really strong coffee that day, it's perfect. But I am not sure if I will ever order it again. Perhaps I will try it again when I want strong coffee. But my normal is a caramel machiatto and they make it PERFECT - layered. I am not sure how they do their lattes but I am sure it has to be better than my previous experiences at a Starbucks... or so I hope. Nothing can top Morning glass coffee and cafe however.

I really like this shop. There's quite a bit of seating. The customer service is always friendly and the service is usually quick. I stopped by today for a Christmas blend brewed coffee and they didn't have any brewed but the girl who took my order did make a cup for me. I definitely appreciated that and I will be back

Normally I have a good experience at this location but the last two times that I've ordered coffee here I have had to repeat my order several times before the cashier entered it right and relayed it to the barista. My orders have not been complicated. Iced Dark Roast, Venti Iced Green Tea, no water/sweetener, Venti. Tonight, my iced dark roast was brewed hot and I had to have them correct the order. There was no apology from any of the staff which really bummed me out, especially since this is an Airport location and time is extremely valuable. I want to continue coming to this location for coffee but if the quality of customer service continues like this, I may not return.

I just love Starbucks so it's a must for me to visit here. Since its fall season the holiday drinks have arrived. So of course I'm getting me my peppermint mocha which I recommend to you all. The service here is friendly.

I've been meaning to write a review on this location for some time now but never got the chance to until now. My all-time FAVORITE starbucks location and that says a lot coming from a VERY VERY picky person! I don't even know where to start. The Baristas (Josh, Kawela, Andrew, Ryan, Kellen, Ami, Sheena (sp?) to name a few)...they are AH-MAZING!! Josh - despite how busy they get, when I walk in, he notices me and greets me! When taking my order, he's always on it and always so happy! He even takes time to have a conversation with me and it always makes my day especially when i'm having a not so good day. He also writes me the sweetest messages on my cup and gets my drink the way I like it. Just an overall loving and caring person. I'm so glad I met him! Kawela - we're like Tom & Jerry because I always give him a hard time and he always have a comeback for everything I say. Despite all that, he's an awesome barista and always makes my drink the way I like it (caramel frappe extra espresso shot with caramel drizzle no whip). Put it this way...I walk in the establishment and BEFORE I even order...he already has my drink made and handed to me. How AMAZEBALLS is that? I owe him a mandoo pizza and I'll be sure to get it out his way before this year is over. He just needs to hurry up and let me know WHEN the creme brulee drink is back because that's all I care about at this point. Andrew - my princess Andrew! He also makes my drinks the way I like it and always gets my name on point. Even when he's super busy, he manages to crack some jokes with me. Ryan - "shots" are on him on Friday's (inside joke) although it only happened once. Super nice and friendly. I can go on and on about each and every single one of them. Just the fact that while getting our normal caffeine runs, I was able to meet and get to know these amazing people personally. With our office nearby, we come here a lot and out of maybe 100 times, we were only disappointed ONCE and that's from someone new so that says something. The renovated look is much better than the previous one and because we always see the same familiar faces, the drinks are always consistent. Some places measure their drinks differently or make it their own so it never comes out right but for this location, they're always on it. My 5 star is based not only on the location and overall service but for the Baristas that ALWAYS make our caffeine runs/experience an amazing one.

This is the 2nd closest Starbucks to my house. When I don't want to deal with the parking issues over by the NEX Starbucks I drive a little further and come here. When I first moved to Hawaii I lived in a hotel for two months that was only a few blocks away. I came to this Starbucks every other day! This is the only Starbucks I've been to (at least 10 times) and they have never messed up my drink and they have always been friendly. Love, Love, Love this location!

Good location with ample parking. Quality is what you would expect from Starbucks. This store was recently rearranged to better service the customers. The line to order no longer runs right through where people are seated trying to enjoy their beverage.

Being my favorite addiction, they automatically got 3 stars, lots of parking added another star, and last but not least, the awesome customer service I always receive at all Starbucks, was consistent with the rest. Starbucks really does hire great people. I love Starbucks!!! Gold card rewards has it's perks. I just love flashing it around :)

Usually the service here is good. This was actually our second trip in the same day because of the $2.00 coupon after 2pm. The service was a little slow and the barista had to fix another order first. Also a customer who ordered after us got their coffee before ours.

(If you have seen this review before, it wrote it for the wrong starbucks and this is the location I meant to give 5 stars to.) Starbucks is Starbucks is Starbucks...right? Nope! This one is special! THIS IS MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE STARBUCKS THUS FAR! Why? Well I have to admit, due to a recent job change, I've been frequenting this one more often. It's like "Cheers," a place where everybody knows your name...well maybe not always my name, but often at least my drink of choice. The staff here is GREAT, and are able to handle the rushes that come through here and there. If I'm there in the morning, as I usually can be, my favorite barista will spot me and know exactly what I'll probably order and gets it started. They really know how to make you feel special. When they are slower, I always ask them for a recommendation, as I try to change it up once in a while. Overall, yea it's Starbucks. The menu is the same, but the service is so wonderful! Sometimes I will go there on my days off just to see those happy faces, and get a familiar drink.

This place has some very cheerful workers at all times of the day. I've been here as early as 5am and as late as 8pm, and have always got the same friendly service. The tables may not always be full but there is always a line here. Be prepared to wait. The customer base here is a wide range, there's the people who work in the industrial area, all the airport workers, tourists, military and everyone else in between. Despite the crowd, the line usually moves very well. They are pretty well staffed at peak times as well. The one thing I love about this Starbucks is the variety of food items. They have a wide variety of the baked goods and breads. I've learned that some locations only carry certain items but luckily this one has them all. They have all the breads, scones and chocolate croissants which are my favorite, and they cannot be found at all Starbucks as I have learned the hard way. They have all the sandwiches, both hot and cold and all the yogurts. Now Starbucks has these over priced bistro boxes that I love. And this location has them all, as long as you go early enough. So far, I like the salami and the tuna salad one. Friendliness, speed and variety is what brings me back here time and time again. This locations has definitely helped contribute to how I've become a gold card member with Starbucks! ^_^*~

My FAVORITE Starbucks on the island! I generally receive good customer service at most of the Starbucks I go to but the employees here go above and beyond. It is located close to the airport so it's the perfect Starbucks to stop by before a flight and you can avoid paying twice the amount at the airport :) A lot of airport employees come here before work so there is a huge morning rush but the line usually moves pretty quickly. There is plenty of parking in the plaza and I've never had trouble finding one. I always just grab my coffee and go but it's pretty spacious inside. When I go in the afternoon/evenings, I always see people studying or working on their laptops. There is one employee who introduced me to her favorite drink and now she makes it for me every time I stop in before I have to work a red eye flight. So far I've been able to stay up all night without a problem! This location will continue being my Starbucks of choice before I go to work :)

This Starbucks locations is located in the airport area right in that little shopping-ish plaza area where they have Jamba Juice, the liquor store, L&L, Pearl Harbor FCU, etc. Like all other Starbucks locations sometimes there's a line and sometimes there's no line. It all depends on what day and time that you go. One time I came here was on a random Saturday morning, and there was a line. Fortunately, sometimes lines are not that bad and they go by pretty quickly but still. Anyways, I find myself coming here often more so because of having meetings here and stuff. There's a decent amount of table and seating areas to have a drink in hand and some reading/study/business material to do. There is a ton of parking right in front of the store. There is also table and seating areas outside of the store. Don't get yourself caught sitting on the Jamba Juice side with a Starbucks and vice versa or else that would just be kinda awkward. The staff and customer service is good. I would say the speed of service is Ok here. However, there was this one time where I had to wait for a while for just a hot green tea latte.

It feels silly to review a Starbucks, but sadly not all Starbucks are created equal. This store is located very close to the airport and in the same complex as multiple businesses and restaurants and despite that, the parking here is more ample than at the Monalua location (though this has nothing to do with the staff). The inside seating in the store also appeared to be set up in a better way to accommodate more people as well with a few small seats outside. The baristas were very friendly and super fast with my drink order, and I appreciated over hearing them offering the heat up other patron's pastries which is something oftentimes isn't offered.

Had a 430am shift on July 4th and thank the heavens they were open already! 2 sweetheart baristas in there smiling and ready to take my order. One of the ladies .. I believe a manager was just a blessing .. She added a shot of expresso at no extra cost! I have to say I order the same thing at Starbucks.. Iced venti soy vanilla latte .. But that one was the best I had ever had.. Not because of the extra shot.. Okay maybe a lil bit but because the baristas who made it were just awesome! Thanks ladies for being up so early and having a smile on your face! Made my whole day.

This Starbucks is located just outside of HNL airport and has a big free parking lot. This is the perfect location to wait park the car and wait to pick up passengers arriving to HNL airport. Last week when I went the place was busy with at least five people in line. The service was fast and efficient. There was plenty of seating and counter space to accommodate the busy throngs.

Super fast service with a smile today. Maybe spring break had an impact this morning. No line and hardly a wait. I'll take it!

Okay, this is one of my favorite starbucks on the island. The people here are SUPER friendly. They greet all their customers with a smile and friendly greetings as they leave. Even though this starbucks is close to a business area, the lines move fairly quickly. That's probably because everyone comes here regularly and already knows what they want. Their drinks are also on point (or maybe that's because it's on the sweeter side). So far I've tried their raspberry white mocha (hot) and it came out tasting delicious (again, sweeter than other starbucks i've been to..but I'm not complaining). I've also tried the passion tea lemonade (sweetened, iced). It was so delicious I bought a box of their passion tea bags to try recreate this goodness at home! I just bought the lemonade mix and I'm going to see what will happen. Hopefully I can save some $$ and make it myself. Wish me luck!

Every time I go to this Starbucks, they never have soy milk! I don't go to this location often, but when I do they never have soy milk! This location and the moanalua shopping center always seem to not have soy milk or sugar free vanilla. It's like them not having straws or covers for the cups. Fail.

Great service! I am waiting for my coworker's plane to land and decided to stop off at Starbucks. The barista who took my order had my gold card and when I put in my order she actually LOOKED at it for my name. My name is not common so more often than not, it's wrong. What a great way to start my morning!!!!

This Starbucks location is perfect for all employees that work near the airport. It has plenty of parking... seating inside and a few tables outside. The staff is pretty friendly and the service is quick! I always get a tall Mocha frappucino with 2 floating shots. I only drink hot coffee when I am at home or work. I would have given it 5 stars, but this time, they blended my coffee and that is a no no when asking for a floating dopio....(2 shots) For good service and almost getting it right! 4 STARS!

This is the best Starbucks on the island of Oahu. Being a college student, I'm always on the hunt for thee perfect place to study and this is always my go-to. The atmosphere in the library scares me sometimes because it feels so serious. However, at Starbucks the atmosphere is more calm and relaxing. You can grab drinks whenever you want and it's in a great shopping center with a lot of food choices and ample amount of parking. The seating area is the biggest I have seen so far and the people who usually go there are really nice. I come here so much I'm a Gold Member!

This is my first time going to this particular Starbucks. My group members and I headed here around 7 PM. I thought it was going to be PACKED, but fortunately it wasn't so that was a good thing. I also noticed they seemed to have a lot more outlets. Unlike other Starbucks locations, it was spacey, the tables weren't clustered together so there was breathing room. The workers were friendly especially when there was questions about re-fills and about giving re-fills. When it came to re-fills I thought they'd use the same cups from the previous purchase, but they used new ones! I don't think it helps if they want to be known as being green. One bathroom. No need key. Oh, final note: cute guy worker, hey! ;)

They were really nice and quick. I liked how they made my iced trenta Thai black tea Thai walls it's the best I've ever had from any Starbucks. I'd only come to this location if I'm going to Big Kahuna's or Ninja.

Starbucks is where I always get my coffee every morning. This location beats every Starbucks I've ever been. This location is really busy and packed almost all the time, but the service is very fast. The barista works really hard and very friendly. I have this one friend who always order weird custom coffee and she make it difficult every time, but these baristas never disappointed her. I've been to different Starbucks all over the united states, the service here for me is the best I've ever seen.

I think I would like this place if some of the workers weren't such beezies! Every time I've been there nobody really seems to actually "work." Instead, everyone is always chatting and laughing. I remember I would find myself standing in front of the cashier for 5 mins until she was done talking. Are you fucking kidding me? GET TO WORK AND MAKE ME MY COFFEE! Also, I remember I ordered a Iced Black Tea with EXTRA Thai walls. Instead of getting extra Thai walls, I got a "Thai drizzle." I asked the barrista nicely if I could have more Thai Walls because I did order extra. She ends up rolling her eyes at me and starts giving me an attitude. I was not pleased with that whatsoever. I did ask her nicely...and her attitude was uncalled for. Ever since then... that barrista would always roll her eyes at me every time I walked in. I bet in her mind she was thinking..."Ugh it's the evil bitch who asked me to put more Thai Walls! How could sheeee?!?!" Anyway, I do not come here anymore...this place is whack. I've had better service at other Starbucks.

This Starbucks is really convenient to me when coming or going to work. The staff is friendly and usually quick. Quite a bit of seating inside and lots of parking outside. It is usually not too busy in the mid-afternoon when I stop there. There seems to be a lot of airline personnel that stop in here on their way to work, but I guess that makes sense since it is close to the airport.

A review by the numbers: Number of employees behind the counter: 5 Number of customers waiting in line, including myself: 2 Number of employees chatting to each other: 4 Number of employees actually helping customers: 1 TIme in minutes it took to get one grande latte: 9

Synchronize your schedule with UH Manoa's mid-term & final exam schedule because you'll want to avoid this location like the plague if you're looking to sit down, grab free wifi and enjoy great coffee and a book. Starbucks is awesome, hands down. Having worked there before, it definitely is the "third place" for everyone who is anyone (or just anyone who wants reliable coffee house atmosphere). This starbucks has quite a bit of seating compared to other Starbucks on the Oahu and there are ample outlets on the lower part of the benches along the wall and near the large table by the bathrooms. Or you can opt to sit in the middle of the cafe or at the window bar stools overlooking E Manoa Road and Manoa Market Place parking lot. I go here mostly right before I make my way into the office in the morning, but I haven't had too much opportunity to make nice with any of the baristas because it's either the place is packed or I'm in a rush ... otherwise, you'll get your typical Starbucks service.

Just bought myself a hot green tea latte from this location a few minutes ago. I specifically asked for no foam and it was clearly indicated on the paper wrap AND verbally repeated by the cashier to the barista. What do I have in my cup as I'm already on the way home? AN INCH OF FOAM!!! Wtf!?!?

I highly suggest not coming here in the morning especially if you are in a rush and you have only -10 minutes to make it to work on time. I usually get here around 630ish and there is always a line but was actually not as dreadful as I thought it was going to be. This review is strictly based on the morning crew sorry I haven't made it out here during the afternoon hours... yet! The first visit here was not the best because my timing was horrendous and every minute that passed by I was getting more anxious. But as I kept coming here I began to get into the routine of it all. The employees are usually really nice and friendly, it is really helpful when they have a person prepping your order then straight to the cashier. Teamwork always makes it so much more pleasant on everyone. You know that place where you go and expect to know your name well I think this place has potential. If I wasn't running late everyday I would just hang out and read a book. This place is a very cozy place to grab a chair and relax.

Outside of Seattle where quality control is more strictly enforced, I'm not a big fan of Starbucks and prefer independent coffee shops that focus on quality and not serving the masses. But it beats out the chain competition nearly every time. For this store, I rank the location very convenient if you know where it is. It's super close to the airport. So, the convenience of grabbing a cup on the way to pick up passengers is great. It would be excellent if they could add a drive through, but the building configuration probably won't allow for this.

Despite the fact that this Starbucks is next to a major international airport, the prices here aren't that steep. There's plenty of parking out front, something that can be a rarity on the island of O'ahu. Like all of the chain's locations on the island, finding a seat can prove to be somewhat of a tactical maneuver. Not so much so at this one though, and you're usually able to find a seat at most times of the day. Fast and friendly service here too!

Ever since our CTLB closed this is our go-to SB. I really enjoyed my morning routine at the bean, but I heart SB too. Parking is not an issue with a lot bigger than the sq ft of the store. The baristas are good. Once you become a regular, they memorize your order to the tee. So much so that when you want to get adventurous and try something different, they have your order waiting at the pick up window. They apologize for the mix up, "Oh, you didn't order your usual?" New drink remade. As for the lines... let's just do that math... when it's busy, it's ridiculous. But so is Ala Moana Macy's one... sometimes THAT line queues to the make up section. Sorry, I digress, back to Paiea... Ambiance is a mix of airport workers, business/industrial people, tourist families, and the two homeless people that use their money for a tall coffee. I rarely stay to drink the coffee / tea, strictly grab and go. So let's break it down quickly, if the "F" crew is on... you get "F" service. When they got their game faces on, the lattes come quick. Teas are poured and shaken. Orders are called out in seconds, and all those business/industrial/ tourists and me get our coffees and teas in a timely fashion. So how can I bribe them to open one in Salt Lake Shopping Center???

Yeah. Leave it to the professionals. Coffee is found everywhere well at least in the convenient stores. Tea is tasty.

This Starbucks is located in the Airport Trade Center. (Next to Jamba Juice, Big Kahuna's Pizza, L&L Drive-In, and The Medical Corner). This has got to be the slowest Starbucks ever!! And I mean slow. I usually stop by here and hang out when I'm picking up someone from the airport. Better than hanging out in the designated cell phone areas. The staff is friendly, usually 2 or 3 of them working. But they really don't seem motivated to get the drinks made when there are tons of people waiting. The waiting area ain't that big either.

I been to other starbucks, they never had their game on like you guys. keep up the good service awsome. sincerly a customer DM. and this is the reason you deserved the 5 star i know when I see good customer service and friendly employee's.

Best Starbucks around...hands down! Fast and friendly service always greets you. The manager (I think her name is Amy) is always cheerful and tries to remember customers' names. Has a small neighborhood feel to it.

The store is usually clean and the staff is usually friendly. Sometimes, you have the snarky barista who is having a bad day, but most times, they are pretty nice. They get the drinks out fast and are correct most of the time (unless the snarky barista is working...in that case, you'll get your drink made wrong with a side of attitude. Bathrooms are off-site, so remember to ask for a key. And, during the day, the security usually patrols the parking lot tagging your car with a fluorescent pink warning sticker if you stay longer than 2 hours. Also, minimal amount of crazies squatting inside or outside. Gets pretty busy when school is in session, though. Comfy seats (that are decently clean) and plenty of seating that makes it easy for study sessions, cyberstalking, or catching up on your favorite telanovelas.

This location is one of the larger ones on the inside with a lot of seating inside. It gets super busy morning & lunchtime with many ordering drinks for the whole office so if there is a line you could be in for a wait. They do a good job preparing the drinks. The seating area is out of the main store and bar area so even when it's busy you can still relax or do whatever you are doing without too much interference. Overall one of the better Starbucks stores on the island.

Long long lines but workers are quick. So line doesn't seem long. Staff is friendly and place is well kempt. Seating area is large making it a nice place to have a bigger group of people rather just 2-4. the ONLY sucky part is the restroom is outside of starbucks. I feel nervous having to use the restroom and leave my belongings in there so i always have to pack my things...then go back and find a seat.

LOVE this Starbucks. And I am anti-Starbucks. Only because I refuse to be as pretentious as those (now relax) who have the this and that and the pumps of that, and the no whatever, but add the this...give me a break. I go for the passion tea and the fantastic, friendly staff.

I go to this Starbucks location almost everyday for a midday drink. Parking is good here. The staff is friendly and the service is pretty good. However their food is never fresh! Today I purchased a "Tuna Salad Bistro Box", got back to my office, opened it, and saw FURRY MOLD on the cheese!!! I'm so annoyed and I've lost my appetite. This is especially disappointing because I'm such a loyal customer of their's! I called the store and spoke to Amy (who I believe is the manager) and she said that lunch is on them tomorrow... I don't even want lunch from there though. Gross! I think I'll stick to just their drinks from now on. Honestly, if there was a closer cafe or spot to get yummy coffee that was closer to my office, I would head there instead of this Starbucks location. Also, if you go during peak times (morning and lunch), be prepared to stand in a long line.

number #2 fav SB on the island. Great place to stop at if you're waiting to pick up someone from the airport. Just sip on your drink, park in the lot - and dont be that idiot parked/blocking the lanes inside HNL. I used to think all SB should be about the same. But then you have locations like this one going the extra mile....then you compare that with some really poorly hired/trained SB.....I know where i'm going

I frequent this Starbucks about once or twice a week because its right by my workplace. The staff is always on it. They are full of energy (probably hopped up on caffeine) and always friendly. This location also has a large seating area so its a good place to have meetings and talk business.

  • Michelle O.

Why only 2 stars? Well, for one thing it's ALWAYS crowded. As in, long lines even @ 5:30AM due to its proximity to HNL. Add to that the super friendly baristas who are sociable with EVERYONE & it's no wonder you end up wasting nearly 20 mins of your life waiting for a simple americano without room. Yeah, I'll still stop by every once in while b/c its near my parking location but I try to avoid it if I can. The trade off is that it leaves me free to spend more time procrastinating else where.
