This time I visited this Popeyes I was not satisfied as #1 I had to wait on the Red Stick Chicken tenders #2 after getting home and opening my box the chicken tenders were overcooked. They were mostly hard and crunchy with little meat on them. Needless to say I was not going all the way back to the store. If you are running specials and it is dinner timeframe 6-8 you should not be having your customers waiting on food and we should expect the product to be fresh and good. Will I try these again? Maybe.

They say they open @ 10...but ummm nope they arent even prepared ...i love popeyes...but omg...get ur iish together people....ur in a military shopping area....these guys dont have time to wait...

This location never opens on time. My parents and I come every Sunday after church. We are waiting in line a few minutes before 10am and they are still setting up after 10. They should be ready to take orders right at 10. And I think a cook should be there before 10 to start frying the chicken.

One of the worst customer service to ever experience. No smile, or how can I help u? Even with the manager there , she won't even say anything! The cashiers are always rushing even when you 're the only customer there. Smh

It is 6:16pm. Food should be plenty to quickly serve the customers. No! I waited 25 minutes for my food. And the person over the counter yelled number and lack of eyes contact with customers. Rude! Manager: Trainings are required for servers.

I love Popeyes, but of all the ones I've been to here on Oahu, this has got to be the worst one. First of all, I was trying to make an order, when the lady at the cashier was too busy talking to her friend, who appeared to not even work there? She kept looking at us and continued to talk. Then, she looks annoyed since I apparently interrupted her gossip session and took my order. When I asked for my usual, a #2 mixed with mashed potatoes, she tells me that they only have dark meat?! I've never experienced this at any Popeyes. How can you not have fried chicken breasts? Maybe she should get off her lazy ass, stop jibber jabbing and cook some damn white meat chicken! I get my food, but it takes longer than usual. The taste of the food was the same and consistent, but coming during dinner hours and having some inept worker appear bothered was a total downside to this location...

I love Popeye's chicken, but I don't like this location because of it's poor customer service. I was there on 3/15/15 and ordered a 9pc dinner (spicy) and a 16pc dinner (regular). After I placed my order, the cashier informed me that it would take 15-20 minutes. I told her that I was in a rush and asked about switching my order to the chicken that was in the bins behind the order counter. There were two full bins of chicken. She advised me that those were to fulfill orders made before mine. Reluctantly I said okay and waited. I sat at a table with a good view of the counter. When my order was ready 20 minutes later, I asked the manager who was fulfilling orders about the chicken that was still in the bins. I asked if they were available for sale and she said "Yes." I then informed her that I told her cashier I was in a rush, and that I expressed my preference for the chicken that was already prepared but was told that chicken was already sold! All she said was "Sorry, it was a large order and the cashier probably thought there wasn't enough chicken in the bins." I'm sorry, but even without counting, I could tell there was more than enough chicken to fulfill my order of 25 pieces of chicken. Not coming to this location ever again!

Popeys gives up quality and product to make a buck ???? ...First, I REALLY like Popeyes chicken and have been to thia location several times. We had your onion rings over the weekend and they were the absolute bomb. We only ordered a 4 piece to try and went back for more.. We drove out from Waikiki for the onion rings; we have also spread the word to many friends about the killer rings... However today they were TOTALLY DIFFERENT. I called the number on the receipt and asked why the difference. I was told their supplier ran out and substituted a different brand. WHY would you substitute such a quality product with one that is clearly sub standard?? That aspect wasnt important to the person on the phone, the only important item was that they had onion rings to sell.. So the next time you go to this establishment, taste a sample piece of the chicken cause it just could KFC. Now im gonna have to eat my words to my friends that stop by and get sub-standard rings,,, hmmm what else have they substituted??!

Personally I don't really care for Popeyes in general because the food is so oily! But what do you expect it's American food lol?? I ordered the 3 piece chicken tender meal with their cajun fries. I think my arteries were blocked after the meal lol. Tasted decent, just needed a cup of tea though after.

Service has been so erratic... But I like how they really make an effort to get it right despite the overwhelming fast food rushes at lunch and dinner time. Still yet, I feel disappointed by the food... Commercials sure are deceiving but hey, its fast food. 2 1/2 a star for effort. Unless you're used to eating a lot of grease on your own, Id say its alright to share one of their set meals with someone. pick a side, and a drink. and you won't spend more than $7 unless you just get a whole lot of chicken.

Ordered a 5 piece meal, wings and thighs only, and the cute worker asked me "Do you want a breast?", I enthusiastically said "Hell yea!" I've come here only twice and it worked once, so the chances of you getting lucky on extra food is 50%. The chicken was fairly dry on both visits though. Convenient if you're shopping at the NEX or Commissary though.
