Diabetics at Pizza Hut

Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:

You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.

Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

High Cholesterol at Pizza Hut

Whether large, medium or small, a pizza can boost your cholesterol levels instantly. You shouldn't eat more than one slice of any pizza your order at Pizza Hut. If you're concerned with your high cholesterol, then it is wise to take your friends to Pizza Hut and share pizza among them slice by slice. You can also try pasta at Pizza Hut but ensure that you are not adding any dressing or extra cheese as you order pasta.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for High Cholesterol

Keep your pizza intake to one slice to avoid high cholesterol intake while you dine at Pizza Hut. Skip Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice as it contains a high amount of fat and the sodium levels are also very high. Avoid the desserts section completely to limit the fat and sugar intake. Now and then, my family gets take-out from this Pizza Hut (PH) for a convenient and easy dinner. The parking area immediately by this PH isn't the biggest, but the eatery shares a lot with Safeway, so you can always just park around the corner from PH if you want more spacious stalls. This PH location has always been pretty consistent, in terms of pizza quality and service. We always phone in our orders ahead of time and would pick up the pizzas on the way home from church/our destination on Saturdays when we did order take-out. Here's what I would recommend: "Pepperoni Lovers": I usually stick with classics whenever I order pizza from PH. I do love the traditional pepperoni pizza, and I always ask for light marinara sauce so I can enjoy the globs of melted cheese and extra crispy pepperoni pieces. "Create Your Own": Usually, when my family orders pizzas from PH, we get one pepperoni-mushroom with light sauce (since my mom loves mushrooms) and one supreme (since my dad likes all the toppings on there). If my brother and I are both home during the pizza take-out, we end up swapping out the supreme for a plain pepperoni (light sauce). Again, you can't really beat the classics when it comes to PH. And pan crust ... all the way. "Tuscani Chicken Alfredo": I've only had this pasta dish from PH a few times--one time as a side; the other because it was part of the "Big Dinner Box"--but I always enjoy this creamy indulgence. It features grilled chicken breast strips and rotini pasta oven-baked in a creamy Alfredo sauce with a layer of melted cheese, and when it's served alone, it comes with an order of breadsticks. I love pasta with cream sauce and would take that over marinara/tomato any day. The pasta is always soft and served with a generous portion of the sauce, and I also like how the concoction is super, super cheesy. "The Ultimate Hershey's Chocolate Chip Cookie for $4.99 with Pizza Purchase": My parents took advantage of this pizza deal and my mom said she really enjoyed that warm, chewy, soft Hershey's Chocolate Chip Cookie. When you purchase a pizza, you can get the freshly baked cookie--made with 100% genuine HERSHEY'S Chocolate Chips--for just $4.99. The cookie itself is baked fresh and served warm, and it's cut into eight slices. My mom said I would definitely enjoy this cookie because it sported a moist, chewy consistency--just what I like when it comes to cookies--and I should take advantage of the promo at some point. Duly noted. "Ultimate Cheese Lovers": Since I love cheese, it's amazing that I haven't tried this cheesy concoction just yet. It includes creamy garlic Parmesan sauce topped with 50% more cheese than the standard pizza recipes, and the cheese flavor is enhanced with toasted Parmesan on the crust edge. Can I say YUM? I can't wait to indulge in that creamy, garlic Parm sauce one day. Completely perfect for me, since I prefer cream sauce over marinara any day. "Cock-a-Doodle Bacon": It's been a while since I've ordered from PH, and the company has rolled out a line of more-gourmet, extremely delicious-sounding pizzas. First up to try on my list is this pie featuring creamy garlic Parmesan sauce, grilled chicken, hardwood smoked bacon and diced Roma tomatoes. I would skip the Roma tomatoes, but I do love chunks of grilled chicken on my pizza from time to time. Gotta change up that pepperoni for a different meat. "Pretzel Piggy": This pizza has me at hello because of its salted pretzel crust edge. It includes creamy garlic Parmesan sauce, hardwood smoked bacon, fresh mushrooms and fresh spinach, complete with a balsamic sauce drizzle. I normally don't like mushrooms on my pizza, but I might make an exception for this savory medley. I can't wait to see how the balsamic drizzle complements all the other components on this pizza. "Giddy-Up BBQ Chicken": This pizza takes all my favorite components of a BBQ feast and throws it on a pizza. It includes BBQ sauce, grilled chicken, hardwood smoked bacon and fresh red onions with a BBQ sauce drizzle on a toasted cheddar crust. I could do without the red onions, but everything else on this pizza sounds absolutely phenomenal. "Buffalo State of Mind": Buffalo chicken is one of my favs--as long as it's not TOO spicy--because it has a slight kick from the tangy-yet-flavorful buffalo sauce. This cheddar-crusted pizza features buffalo sauce, grilled chicken, sliced banana peppers and fresh red onions, topped off with a buffalo sauce drizzle. I would probably order this pizza sans the peppers and red onions--don't need any extra heat--and would ask just HOW spicy this buffalo pizza is before going thru and ordering it.

I usually am very happy with the service I get from this Pizza Hut. Till, we phone ordered and picked up our order. We ordered wings, and they were completely undercooked. I called them, which it goes straight to the call center, and reported this. It has been over a hour and no call back from the manager. Needless to say we did not eat wings with our one pizza.

only came here to pick up a phone order. The employee greeted me and had smile the whole time. My order was ready to go and nice and hot also he provided cheese and peppers when I asked, and reminded me about my garlic sauce. the customer service is awesome and the pizza we usually order are the super supreme for the adults and the new yorker half cheese half pepperoni. The pizzas are always hot and the crust is never undercooked. the toppings are generously given and spread out evenly to ensure a great serving and taste in every bite.

Placed order and paid for it at 6:30 pm and to be picked up at 7:30 pm... Was it ready at 7:30??? No-way near close to it. Got it at 7:45. What gets me is, once it's paid for, shouldn't it been a no-brainer as to make it and pop it in the oven and have it ready by the stated time? With that many people working in the kitchen, they should've had it ready. I will not order from this again for a looonnggggg while. Then, the guy who's behind the register kept on saying a couple more minutes... Just say that it hasn't been made yet and it'll be 20 or so minutes, you dumb - a$$. Too bad can't give negative stars!!!! Awful experience ever

Walk in with paper flyer in hand for the bacon and cheese stuffed crust pizza. I wanted a medium but the lady told me they don't have medium, only large. Which was weird. Not thinking much, I proceed to order a large stuffed crust... now I can barely understand the filipino lady because of her thick accent. Then she asked me what crust... I'm like whooa? I thought I was getting the stuffed crust. She was also trying to up-sell me the pepperoni lover. (From reading the reviews here, good thing I didn't) I waited and picked up my order. Went home, only to find out they got my order wrong. It was a large (look more like a medium) regular pan crust pizza... The only redeeming thing last night was the pizza was hot and fresh...

I have order delivery from here plenty of times. Seems like they are always on ALOHA time although theye guarantee a time frame. They are usually no more than 15 minutes late. Can deall with that. Today they were almost 2hrs late!! To top it off the manager only wanted to give me a credit of $10 for their tardiness. They are unwilling to satisfy the customers. Thought customers were ALWAYS RIGHT. If you ever order from here take it to go if at all possible!

I ordered online & was told my order would be delivered in 55 mins. Needless to say, the delivery was 30 mins past the the expected time & when I asked for a discount, they hung up on me. $40 for cold pizza, smh!!!! What a way to run a business...

Ok, so this is a chain restaurant, but service here was above average. I had a Book It coupon for a free personal pan pizza for my kid, bit did not realize that it expired two days ago. I was not going to use it because i had another 2 for 1 coupon, but the cashier saw I had the Book It coupon in my hand. I told her it expired, but she asked a manager and gladly accepted it. She also accepted to 2 for 1 coupon so it's like I got 3 for the price of one!!! Wow, cheap dinner! They also gave me another 2 for 1 coupon! Location is clean and there is even a monitor with the progress of your order and the estimated time it will be ready. They even open each box to show you that the order was correct. Awesome job!!!

Walk in at 645p, ordered supreme, big New Yorker and the pasta things...told 15 minutes...ok. Came back in ten and the place was a madhouse. Waited patiently there watching for my name on the screen. When it said "ready" I went up to the counter to attempt to get my order. Young guy said ok and asked if anyone called my name? I said "no I see it up there as 'ready.'" Guy looks in warmer for a long ten seconds and then mumbled something to himself. He then proceeded to ignore me and then help the next walk in customer. Ok I think it's busy and the guy is a little special so I wait for the other worker...who proceeds to ask the same thing and pretty much repeated what the first guy did...oh boy. Whatever...I paid so I would give them a few minutes and it was crazy busy. 30 minutes later I finally got their attention again and my order was right there in the warmer. Wtf.

Slow delivery, called the store after my order was 30 minutes late, was told the driver was on the way and will call.. 30 minutes after that still no order, only after I call asking for a refund does the driver show up over an hour late with my cold order and not even a discount for the poor service. The worse service from Pizza Hut I've seen, will never order from this store agin.

This is a pick up joint for pizza that is, counter space to order and delivery only. convenient and surprising busy. The specials are usually posted on windows facing Salt Lake Blvd, in the Salt Lake Shopping center. It is next to Soongs Korean BBQ. It's a small store front so you have to look for it.
