I came here for the first time recently for a Halloween party and it was pretty dope. One of the organizations that I am a part of organized the small event for a Karaoke type of party. It was cool because the venue actually has a small stage and everything and it got me thinking if they ever have mini concerts or performances that go around here every so often or so. I didn't really get to check out the menu since most of the food was already ordered by the host organization. They have a bar in the back of the bar along with darts, pool/billiards, and some arcade type of games. For the food, we had fries and some seafood type of dishes. I didn't really get to find out what they where but they seemed ok. The food that we had was mostly pupu kine. Most of my stay there was singing karaoke and talking story with friends and stuff. They have some pretty good karaoke songs which are pretty current too. The staff and customer service is great. The people who where there at the time including the outside guests were really cool and did not mind our company. The whole vibe and atmosphere really gives off the local kine vibe. Even though I didn't get to eat much at the time, I did enjoy my stay there with my friends and colleagues. Since I was here more for a special event, I plan on checking this place out in the future in a more normal setting now that I know that this place exists and such. It's conveniently located right next to the Old Stadium park in Mo'ili'ili on South King St. right after you pass Ross and right before you hit First Hawaiian Bank and Longs. It's pretty much on that corner of Isenburg and King, haha no wonder they call it "King's Korner," cuz that' literally it!

This place was great for after work drinks. The steak was way worth the $$$. They got a for real chef whose signature balsamic reduction French fries were to die for and the tofu with ponzu was smooth, creamy and full of flavor. Wish I had space in my opu to try the nachos and fried rice I saw pass me by on the way to the people seated at the bar. Its Puka already. Plus the work crew here were friendly and super nice. I'm thinking office Christmas party...E lakou ala, e kipa mai, e komo mai i loko.

I love this place. The first time my wife and I came in we were made to feel like family. Every staff member always greets us warmly by name; often with a hug or handshake. The customers are also friendly and I often engage in good convo at the bar. They have a new chef and the food is really special. They have a little stage and good music at night. It's a special little place and one of my favorites to stop in and have a beer after work.

So, a friend of mine had a friend who she said was playing live music at this place so at the last minute, we changed our plans and ended up here. Had no idea what to expect, but holy ghetto!! So we were a bit overdressed, but whatever. Didn't matter. The live music was awesome! A totally low key sports bar. The service was great! Lots of parking on the street and the parking lot right in front (for those of you who don't know where this place is, it's in the same complex as Sweet Home, the hot pot place). Good drinks, good peeps, their food menu had a little bit of everything and the price was definitely right!

Very friendly waitress, speedy service, tasty food and super spacious interior... Recently opened up so now is your chance to enjoy all the space to yourself. Seems the ownership just changed so you will spot a few characters who frequented the previous themed shops (was formerly a nudie bar, lesbian bar)... yeah, we spotted a few ladies making out for quite a while. Food was great... giant super tender Rib Eye Steak and ono Spam Sandwich. Lots of great clean booths and facing the bar counter is a pool table.

Ghetto as all heck, but a definite upgrade from its former strip club self. It's definitely not my scene or crowd, but I'll most likely return in the arms of good company. Shots are generous, bartenders and wait staff are genuine, but I need to try the food! I hear great things about their menu, so I'll definitely give an update when I get to sample! Also, King's Korner has billiards and darts. So if you're lookin' for a comfortable spot to set up at, this may be your spot! And even though this isn't necessarily my scene and I stick out like a sore thumb, I can tell KK has got some good vibes. There's a lot of regulars. (A LOT.) To them, King's Korner is their home... I think that's especially awesome, seeing as how this place hasn't really been opened for that long. And everyone is seriously comfortable and having a grand time. I've even seen the owner(?) get a foot massage in one of the booths! And yes, it was with lotion. Hah! Seriously, don't just judge this place from the outside. Inside, it's a party. A more "local" one, but still.. a party is a party! So if dive bars are your thing, you'll most likely feel right at home. 31 Yelps Review Challenge - #02/31

+1 star for sweet happy hour deals. $2 domestics!!! It is definitely a dive bar and not so much on the sport side but they have a few TV's. Basic oceanic cable. Staff is really nice and I will be back for happy hour. Can't beat $2!!!

Omigosh. So full. I'm gonna say this while their rib-eye, pork belly, and cheesy garlic bread are still fresh in my tongue. This place is magical. Everyone is so cheery and eager (and competent and professional!), the whole place is clean, and the food is not only fast, it's enrapturing. My friends and I had the nachos, the rib-eye, the escargot, the cheesy garlic bread, the balsamic vinaigrette fries, and the special which was pork belly (done PERFECTLY, better than anywhere else I've ever been to by a long shot) and bacon fried rice. Even the ambience was alluring. It's obvious how well they keep their establishment; everything is spotless, from the floor to the walls to the motherflippin bathrooms. Music was a charming little band playing smooth-jazz renditions of songs like Livin On A Prayer. The other patrons were really laid back and friendly, and it was a genuinely nice Halloween to spend gorging ourselves on ridiculously tasty food. And now, as I lay here holding my tummy in blissful satisfaction, I can't help but think, even in my inebriated food-drunken state, about how much I want to go back.

vienna sausage with 12 pieces? yelp.com/biz_photos/king… kind of odd since there are 7 in a can.... if they use 2 cans, shouldnt there be 14 pieces? where do the last 2 sausages go? O_O *shrugs* surprisingly spacious inside... the pictures here on yelp don't do a great job at showing that so i guess you'd just have to see it for yourself! to put it in perspective, inside you'll find a decent sized stage, dance floor, 3 dart boards, 1 7-foot pool table, and lots of seating..... from the outside, you would never know there was so much room in here. also, they have live music every monday.

Hidden gem of food! You know how you judge books by the cover? I didnt here! Although this place doesn't look the greatest, you'll definitely be back for the food and the friendly service provided. We had the garlic chicken & ribeye steak and it was soo good. Cheap, quick, friendly... My kind of bar.

We had a fantastic experience last night. Our friend, Chef Ernesto, recently opened shop at Kings Korner. As usual, chef did not disappoint with the care and quality of the food he, along with his staff serve. Nothing is ever preprocessed, frozen, canned. ALL foods are carefully thought out, planned for and prepared. On this night we got to experience; duck confit with mango pineapple sauce, HOME MADE chili and rice, Sashimi with special hot sauce, and frois gras french fries. Trust me when I say you will never, ever, get this quality of preparation, execution, presentation at any other-BAR! One of the unexpected treats of the evening was how SUPER FRIENDLY the patrons and staff were at Kings Korner. If you're looking for a casual night out with excellent food, and great customer service then check out Kings Korner. If you're looking to be pampered, be put on a pedestal, expecting white table cloths, and uptight service-stay home.

Friendly staff, Great food and the bartenders are always open to making you the drink you want, if they have the liquor required. They're reasonably priced on food and drinks. My personal fave here would be the garlic chicken.

Soy beans tasty, with the hint of rock salt, llllllllll Wine selection poor, beer selection good & cold, Parking if you come early, not so good, If you get here later, after the restaurants nearby closed, tons of parking.

I came here for a friend's birthday. I'm not gonna lie. I spent every sober minute wondering what the hell I was doing there. It's right next to Sweet Home Cafe, in that complex, nearest the parking lot entrance. I bet you've never really ever even paid attention to this spot.. After a couple of drinks, I felt good. I was with good company, and that's always helpful. One thing that stands out in this bar compared to others, besides their hanging "B I T C H E S" sign on the wall, was their excellent customer service. The wait staff was ON IT. I fell in love with the bartender -- she was SOOO sweet. They didn't have my drink of choice there, but we worked to make it happen (work as in I told her what it was, and she did all the work). At one point, I think she was walking out towards the door to go do something or grab something from outside, and she actually went back to the bar to make my drink because she saw that it was empty. She's so sweet and personable -- I LOVE HER! I will be back, despite myself -- thanks to her. :) Also I will update this post after I try sampo their food. xx

I'm not gonna lie, I always thought this was a "KB" ever since I've been going to my once-a-week routine to SHC. From the outside it looks pretty ghets, but when you go inside, it's really not that bad! Just thought we'd stroll in one day just to check it out. First off, it's not a KB (Thank God), it's a very local, cool bar with ono food comparable to Side Street! Although it's an older crowd, everyone is friendly, the staff is nice, and there's darts, a pool table, karaoke, AND live music! They just have it all! I've tried the fried rice and kimchi clam dip. Super delicious. Only downfall is that it's super cold inside! Bring a jacket!
