This location has the best service, they are super fast and friendly. The food is Jack so if you like Jack this clean, convenient location with wifi should be your regular spot. Lately I've been doing the salted caramel shake, with a salad. Because I like to watch my caloric intake ;)

This has got to be the cleanest Jack in The Box I've ever been in ... Seriously. Especially with it being in town. The workers here are supremely awesome ... well, the morning crew - idk about the lunch crew never had lunch here :/ They don't judge me when I order my heart attack ultimate cheeseburger at 7 in the am. Hahahaha

It's jack in the box, what do you expect. Can't go wrong with a $1 bambucha soda...their medium is equivalent to a mcdonald's large, and jack's large is equivalent to some gigantic gulp that can't fit in your car's cup holder. They also give you one free refill if you ever really need that much soda in one day.

This location was ravaged because of the homeless "problem." No more restroom. no more self-serve soda. Still has homeless and crazy customers. What really sucks is their Dr. Pepper formula is off. too weak! I only go here when I want two tacos for $1.

2.28.13 It was just one of those days...where I was just brain farting all day and thought Thursday was Friday. Boy was I disappointed. I was super excited because Friday's are 1/2 off of milkshakes and i have really been craving them! I had a genius plan to visit Jack for a cheap meal and a nice treat on another sunny day...except when I looked at my receipt it hit me. IT'S STILL THURSDAY. FAIL! Oh well...I still enjoyed my regular size Oreo Cookie milkshake even when it was still regular price ($3.59)....and I've always been a fan of the Chicken Shandwich ($1.29) ^_^ I have to say the lettuce they use seems much fresher these days. A tip if you want your sandwich "fresh" guaranteed--order it with no sauce! Weekly specials run through the week; Mondays are buy a drink and get a free chicken sandwich, Tuesday through Thursday any size drink is only a $1! My coworkers love getting that Jumbo size and claim that it lasts the whole day! Fridays are the actual 1/2 of shake days so I might just have to treat myself to another shake tomorrow...TGI(almost)F. Yelp 365 Challenge: #059/365

I used to eat at the Jack in the Box chain during my middle & high school years, and it helped me balloon to close to 300 lbs. Since my transformation into a crazy marathoner, I kept distance to most things fast food at an arms length. With that said, I was craving Jack In the Box food for a long while and had time in the morning and found Jack in the Box in downtown Honolulu recently on Bishop Street. It's within the Bishop Street Square complex and parking is very limited, unless you pay for parking in the area parking garages or find street parking, which is a headache to say the least. I wanted a change from the McDonald's I sometimes go to for a fast commute to work. The restaurant was very comfortable and there was plenty of seating to go around. It was past 8am, and the scores of people were going to work as I sat down and relaxed. I still had to go to work, but I took some time off in the morning. With that said, I got the Ultimate breakfast sandwich, breakfast jack, and hasbrown sticks, which came out to $7.00. I had my usual brewed coffee from Starbucks, so I wasn't about to switch coffee brands anytime soon. I do agree that Jack in the Box food can be expensive, especially at breakfast time. They are good, but yeah, a bit pricey. That's why I like McDonald's $1 menu options for breakfast. Cheaper the better, although I might go to Burger King to see if they have comparable options. I periodically eat the western egg and cheese sandwich at Subway, so getting that option is kind of off the table already. I don't get up early and tend to dash out the door without food in my stomach, so it's a boon for these fast food companies to make money off of me while I enjoy a fast breakfast on the go.

I never thought I'd see the day that I would review a fast-food chain, but that day has arrived and I am not ashamed to admit it. I am now a Yelper who reviews places like Jack in the Box. We all know what to expect when we walk into a Jack in the Box, for the most part they're all the same right? Loud, smells like grease, and serves cheap food. I like this location because it is literally steps away from my cubicle. So, there is usually a long line of people waiting for their food, but I'd have to wait as long if not longer if I go anywhere else for lunch so I can't complain. The cashiers are usually pretty friendly too and keep the line moving fairly steadily. Not to mention it's possibly the cheapest lunch you can get downtown. Today they had a special coupon that if you bought a large drink you get a free chicken fajita pita. I have now found my default lunch for when I am low on cash and want something fast and tasty. I was suprised how much I enjoyed this chicken fajita pita, the grilled chicken was nicely seasoned and the salsa adds some great flavor to it. It's not all that unhealthy, afterall it comes on a whole wheat pita with lettuce and tomato. Not bad Jack in the Crack I mean Box, not bad at all.

I was really excited to try two new things here, the croissant donuts and the salted caramel ice cream shake. After eating cronuts at Dominique Ansel Bakery in New York City, Jack in the box's attempt was not reminiscent of those delectable desserts, but as I shared the treats with others....they really liked them. I don't think I would get them again, but my friends would. They were nice and crispy on the outside, but warm and soft on the inside. They were sweet, but not overly sweet which was nice. I really liked the salted caramel ice cream shake. The salted caramel sauce made it taste super yummy....but the drink made me feel a little naughty drinking it. I think that's because this is probably not good for you. That's ok...sometimes it's ok to be naughty. This drink is super sweet, so beware if you are not into that sort of thing. Yum!

I never think to eat fast food to lunch, but thanks to the recent Yelp event, I finally walked in these doors. As an East Coast kid, I never heard of nor ate Jack in the Box before moving here. This location is smaller than most, but laid out with plenty of seating, both indoor and out, for the lunch crowd especially. The space was clean and well lit. The umbrella tables are doubly covered by parts of the skyscrapers all around. Jack in the Box in general has made tremendous strides in improvement and quality foods. I love the boxed meals (although they're far too large if you're watching weight haha) that contain a big burger, fries, taco, and drink. I'm a huge fan of the hamburger that utilizes a grilled cheese sandwich as the top bun. The famous tacos are very simplistic, but good. All in all, a great fast-food chain for tourists and locals alike.

Clean and tidy including the exterior seating. My salad was slimy and thankfully they took it back and gave me a new one. The salted caramel shake was good at first and then the sugar settles and it got way too sweet for my taste. The staff was very pleasant and provided speedy service. Nice location in the middle of everything.

Breakfast review : specifically the egg white & Turkey sandwich. This jack in the box has been here forever. I remember I would frequent here in grade school to get a broccoli and cheese baked potato. Mmmmm. Times have changed and I don't frequent here much due to lifestyle changes, etc. But one thing has brought me back here. Its their bfast sandwich: egg white and Turkey, no cheese though. You'd think it would be tasteless but it's delish! Actually it's a little salty even without the cheese. It even has a nice fresh tomato that adds some moisture to each bite. I'd get this on a regular basis. Kudos to jib for adding some healthy choices!

There are always birds inside at this location. It's gross. Tables are always dirty and could use a wipe down more than once a day. No public bathroom. Can't refill soda on your own. Staff is slow and careless. Too much mayo on everything. Crazy customers... some guy lit up a cigarette inside and the staff didn't even notice.

When you work downtown and thoughts of food come up, you think of 3 things: 1) Where is quick? 2) What is convenient? 3) What fits the above two conditions? Inevitably, when you work near Tamarind Park and certain cravings arise, Jack in the Box offers a quick place to grab food to fill your stomach. They offer the menu you have come to expect of any of its siblings in the chain, however be sure to see the chalkboard outside the entrance for what might be their daily special. This particular location offers some pretty comfortable lounge seating and I even heard wi-fi once. With televisions playing the current news and shows, it's a pretty nice respite to have your lunch and catch up on the current events of the world. Although, the smell of old oil is a just a tad on the repulsive side, but it isn't too the point where it overwhelms you. Is it special? Nah, not really. However you will end up full... But inevitably feelings of guilt arise that make you ashamed to the point where you just want to say "leave the money on the dresser and go..."

I know I shouldn't be a fan of fast food but this Jack In The Box deserves a nice review. I don't ask for much but the staff there is very accomodating. This location gets busy but the keep their cool and fulfill your order in a timely manner. Kudos to the team! Now I have to get back to my cardio to burn this goodness off

Great location downtown in the center of Everything. Whenever I can't decide on what to eat for lunch, I always seem to head towards Jacks since it's so convenient and awesome. They usually have coupons Midweek which makes it a better deal. I lived in the Midwest for quite a few years and they don't have any locations past the west coast. Like everything in life you always miss what you can't have.

I don't go to this branch too often. This is probably the second time I came back here after so many years. I go to a different location most of the time, and this branch is waaaay better. The crew are nice and friendly. My cashier always has a smile on his face, even while reading back what I ordered. The other crew who gave me my order has the same friendly smile while giving me my food. While I was seated on the bench near the counter, waiting for my food to come out, I saw that they have a board. This branch has weekday specials. How come the other branch I go to doesn't? Anyway, Monday is free chicken burger when you buy a drink, Tue to Thurs is $1 drink and Friday is when they have 50% off milkshakes. Awesome! The area is nice. There are couches at the area where the TV is and there are seats outside the Bishop Square. It was a nice day, so I sat outside. I went on a weekend so I have no idea how busy this place can get during work days. But the day I came here was quiet, except for the noisy kid who kept running around.

This is the first time I ate at jack in the box the experience was awful and nasty. The birds just walked in and make the poop around and the staff didn't do anything. When we finished eating I was thinking I should tell the staff about it if they really didn't see it. When I talked to the cashier he just reply me oh ok. It seems like to tell me what's a big deal? Well first I just think of how dirty the birds are and they carry different kind of viruses that you don't know how they bring the disease to human especially the birds' poop. This may expose the chemical and customer will inhale the toxic into body. How bad it could happen?

I was very pleased to find this, fairly near our house, the other day. I love Jack-in-the-Box and grew up with their food in San Diego. In fact, it was my first job. Their food has improved over the years. This particular store is very well air conditioned, which is a plus in the downtown area since so many small places are not. The food is good and the people who work there are fine. The managers are very good. If you have to eat gluten free, like I do, they will wrap your burger in lettuce. Make sure they know to wrap it in lettuce or else they may chop up your burger and put it in a salad. Also make sure they know you still want cheese etc. The managers usually know what they're doing, but their workers are sometimes a bit clueless. I love their food, though, and it's good to have an alternative to McDonald's, Subway, and all the Asian fast food places in the area.

Just tried to order 2 hamburgers at the 1001 Bishop Street location in Downtown Honolulu and was told "we are out of hamburgers" . Interesting concept. A hamburger restaurant that does not have hamburgers. REALLY!!!!!!!! I'm giving a star because I have to in order to post. They don't deserve the one star.

I saw the commercial for the Jumbo Deal for $3.99, which included 2 tacos, Jumbo Jack, small fries and soft drink. Man, that's the ultimate good deal, cheap eats you can get in Downtown. The line was extremely long, however, they had a lot of people working, so the turn around time was quite impressive. The tacos were not the best, there's more bean paste than anything else. The hamburger patty was kinda dry. I upgraded to curly fries for $0.30, totally worthwhile.

Nothing special about the food here.. Once you been to one Jack In The Box, you've been to them all! What I like about this Jack In The Box is the nice leather seats a long with the flat screen TV that usually plays some type of current sporting event like football and the news when there's nothing on..

Good ol' Jack In The Box, otherwise known as JITB for those who think it's a mouthful to say the latter is the kind of place you go for lunch in Downtown/Chinatown and just want something that's sinfully tasty! Yup, you're not going here because anything is healthy or because it's anything really special but sometimes you just have to indulge yourself with Jack's food. Just like any other JITB, this location has the exact same menu of burgers & side items as well as their deliciously thick milkshakes! Gosh, my mouth is watering just thinking about some of the food they offer here... There are the good ol' favorites such as the Jumbo Jack, Sourdough Jack & the Bacon Ultimate Cheeseburger meals which come with your choice of fries(regular or curly) and a fountain drink which can be switched out for a milkshake! They've also got their side items such as the bacon & cheddar potato wedges and the jalapeno poppers which of course go great with buttermilk sauce! Haha, right about now you're either starting to get a little disgusted by all the greasy goodness or you're getting hungry too but I'm still not done yet... What I really love getting from JITB every so often are their thick as heck milkshakes which are made with ice cream! Thank God I'm not lactose intolerant, otherwise it would be torture not being able to indulge in the Oreo shakes or their standard vanilla/chocolate/strawberry flavors as well as the occasional seasonal ones around Halloween & Christmas. Another thing to be aware of is that this location, like the others accepts coupons so be sure to bring them when you come so you can save some pennies too. Before I forget, they also have the specialty burgers too such as the newly launched buttery burgers which are also a delight to indulge in! One thing I really don't like about this location in contrast to the others though, is that they're not open late or 24-hours like the other locations but this makes perfect sense given its location. I wouldn't expect them to be open all that late, given that its nestled in the heart of the financial district and that most businesses and people aren't around that would want to grab a bite to eat. Even if anyone was around, they're more likely on the side of Chinatown where there are bars and other food places that are more appropriate. Either that or they work at a place where they can park their car and drive elsewhere to get food at such a late hour. But again, this is a minor minus given the location. Aside from that, the only other thing is that they can get pretty busy right at the prime lunch hour but then again that's most places in Downtown/Chinatown so that shouldn't be surprising either. Lastly, it also doesn't have a drive-thru like the other locations but this should be obvious given its location... There's nowhere for a drive-thru to be situated so that makes perfect sense that it doesn't have one at all. As I mentioned earlier, come here for cheap & sinfully delicious eats when you just want to slum it cheat on your diet! Otherwise, go elsewhere if you want something healthy or with better ambiance. Definitely come here on a break and try their milkshakes though, you won't regret having one!

So I don't exactly know why this location is getting such low ratings either, but to each their own. Breakfast: I usually come here before work to grab a quick breakfast to go (when I have time). Two breakfast jacks or if I'm feeling boss, I'll order large curly fries... FOR BREAKFAST. That way, I know it's made fresh. Lines are short to non-existent and food is pretty good for a burger joint. Lunch: Can be very crowded depending on the time. You may have to wait 5-10 minutes for your order. I think a lot of people get grumpy because it takes a long time even if you're just ordering one soda. However, I do not buy any drinks. Save your money and just bring your own drinks to work, will you? Order what's actually good here, the food! I get so scared when I order food at McDonalds and it comes out in 30 seconds. I can't even wrap the burgers that fast! If you guys want something fresh, come here or to Cafe Blue. It's a bit more pricey and it takes longer to cook, but you will not regret it. Service: I see the same crew every time I go. They work hard and they work fast. These ladies and gents will greet you with a great attitude. Even the facilities are better than McDonalds. Have you ever walked into McDonalds during lunch and wondered, "WTF IS THAT SMELL?" -- That's what you pay for bro -- Find a new place to eat. Overall I give them the 4 stars because of the price. It's not really their fault, but if I could get all my meals for under $5 I'd be pretty good. For a guy my size, I can unfortunately put away 2 ultimate cheese burgers for lunch. At regular price, that's like $10. Ouch. BOGOF is the best deal. Look out for their coupons!

I was looking for a place to grab a quick bite before I took my last final of the semester. I ran into a friend and we ended up eating here. I wanted something small so I just got a Jack Jr. (cheese burger) but I got a hamburger instead. Where's the cheese?! There was pepper. Not a real fan of having pepper on my meat but that's okay I was hungry. There was a bird inside, trying to get itself some food. Go away bird! My friend got a the pumpkin pie shake. I tried it, tasted more like vanilla ice cream. Where's the pumpkin pie? Got to double check on orders before leaving the counter.
