Who knew shortbread cookies could taste so yummy? If you're a big coffee addict/fan (like me), you'll love the kona coffee flavored one. They're located in the food court @ Ala Moana Shopping Center. It's best to buy them in the box since you'll get more bang for your buck. They have samples too so if you're indecisive (like me) you can at least try before you buy.

I'm not sure why, but Hawaii is big on chocolate covered Macadamia nuts (ok...that makes sense because the nuts are from Hawaii) and cookies??? Why cookies? And shortbread cookies even, which I thought was really more Scottish. But for whatever reason, Hawaiian cookie companies have perfected the art of cookie making...most notable among these is the Honolulu Cookie Company. I was a big fan of Big Island Candies' chocolate dipped shortbread for a long time, until a friend of mine turned me on to this company that makes cookies with a lighter texture, more flavors, and a cuter shape (they're pineapple shaped)! Don't live in Hawaii? No big deal...order online at honolulucookie.com . Everything is packaged for gift giving or gift keeping (which is what you'll be doing when you realize you forgot to order some for yourself). This sure beats giving See's Candies again around the holidays, and you are going to look so cool because you're giving them something they can't buy here. Now look at that...how cute are you?

Their cookies is number one!!! Unbelievable! They have provided samples of each flavor of cookies for the costumers that is the most smart thing to do since you can try different flavors. They have some packaged cookies; also they have boxes for assorted mix of the costumers choice. I really liked the cookies. My favorite one was the coffee flavor and coconut with dark chocolate.

I'm usually not a fan of shortbread cookies, but these cookies are pretty darn good and addicting!! I virtually like every flavor, but the guava and, lilikoi mango, and the ones dipped in chocolate are my absolute favorite!! Not really a fan of the mocha and coconut, but I don't like cookies that are in those flavors. Another really good item are the mini pineapples that come in a round container. My grandma had them in the house and I think I ate half of the cookies in the container. Hehe need I say more?

This place tries so hard to be Big Island Candies and falls sooooooo short off the mark its depressing.

Forget Godiva chocolates, I'll be smitten with a large box of these for Valentine's Day. These cute pineapple-shaped cookies are buttery and delicious. The Chocolate Macadamia is my favorite flavor--looks too perfect to devour and tastes entirely scrumptious. The Pineapple Macadamia is a close second behind; the cube of dried pineapple in the middle of it really needs to be supersized, though. I like that the shortbread isn't too crumbly (yay) and the chocolate doesn't leave a nasty aftertaste (double-yay). These cookies are so dangerously good that you'll likely consume a dozen of these before you realize you've had so many you have to skip a meal now. While they're on the expensive end, they're still a better deal than the stuff at Cookie Corner let alone Godiva Chocolatier. Get them for the cookie monsters in your life (your kids), and they won't be acting like monsters for long. P.S. All of the locations have free samples of each cookie out in the open. Go crazy =D

not as good as big Island candies/ cookies. but i do like the guava ones here....yum

  • Clara K.

i LOVE these pineapple-shaped shortbread cookies! my favorite is actually one that doesn't seem as popular as the others -- the mini chocolate chip shortbread cookies that come in a box or a round container (not individually wrapped), my second favorite is the chocolate dipped macadamia shortbread, where the buttery shortbread cookie is dipped in plenty of high-quality chocolate. YUM. i also like that you can sample all of their flavors, and in fact, they encourage you to try every flavor, secure in the knowledge that tasting = falling in love = buying. ;) the cookies are available for purchase in various combinations (the boxes are perfect for gift-giving), and you can also create your own combos.

If you have never had the pineapple shaped cookies...you are missing out! Every year I go to Hawaii I always bring back these cookies for family & friends! I even buy them online & have them shipped for use as party favors. They are so addicting and you can't just have 1. I just came back from Hawaii a couple of days ago and picked up some Lilikoi Heart Shaped cookies dipped in White Chocolate. This is so ONO! I love the pineapple & milk chocolate dipped ones the best!

Ther are stores are all over the place and I probably gained 5 pounds eating just these cookies the week I was there! Love the samples! We aren't too greedy (maybe eat enough to equal one cookie) and always bought at least the small box. The best are the chocolate chip!!!!

    (5)
  • Sophia J.

The most delicious shortbread cookie i ever had! There was one below the hotel i was staying, Waikiki Beach Marriott where all the shops are. The cookies are so buttery and crummie (is that a word?) Anyways! There are loads of samples for you to try. They are a litle on the pricey side. There all the same pineapple shaped shortbread cookie with choco dipped ones, dried pineapple, mangos, lilikoi, kona bean, etc. Price range from $3.50 for 5 cookies packaged in a box to $30 ish? Best deals are the one in the big boxed ones. usually $12.50 for about 24~35 cookies depending on what flavor.

I've only had one thing here, and that is their chocolate covered oreo cookies! I love them so much that I used these for my favors for my wedding. Yup, every single person got a 3 cookie set; a white chcolate, milk chocolate, and a dark chocolate set. Mmmmm! Yum! Must try!

    (5)
  • Mina M.

These are the most amazing cookies ever! I've had a ton of family visit Oahu this year and bring these cookies back, so when I recently visited, we made a special trip to Honolulu just for the cookies! My favorite are the pink mango flavored cookies. I seriously cannot get enough of them. And the best part is that there are free samples of every flavor! But you will want to buy a box after sampling, and be prepared, they are a little spendy. But totally worth it.

great place to buy gifts. tasty... and they let you try all the different flavors! :)

  • Marsh-Silog P.

Probably the best shortbread cookies I have ever had. A definite treat if bringing back to the mainland. Try the choclate covered ones...they are great with good 100% Kona Coffee.

yummy! we used this cute pineapple shaped macadamia nut cookie dipped in chocolate for your wedding favors! it reminds me of big island cookies in hilo!

    (4)
  • Waynele Y.

while the chocolate covered shortbreads, are good, they're no big island candies. the shortbread cookie just isn't as buttery and flavorful as the big island candies.. the honolulu cookie company is just a wannabe.

I went to their location on Front Street in Lahaina this time. These cookies are yummy. I found my new favorite: cookie dipped in white chocolate covered w/ cococut shavings. Yummm..... I went back again and again to make sure I had gotten enough for everyone at home. This is our 3rd day back and all the cookies are gone. My dad went through half a box of 20 at one sitting last night prompting my mom to hide her favorites (pineapple) from him. They ARE that good.

  • Nicole L.

Totally addicted. People- if ever you love butter and can't get enough, these shortbread cookies are the best way to go! I find so much "Aloha" with each nibble...

    (4)
  • Kristina P.

These cookies are the BEST! ...We were at pineapple and happened to come across this place, and saw that there was a crowd so we decided to see what's up. And they were giving out free samples of their cookies. AND WE WERE HOOKED! bought tons of cookies and brought them back to the hotel to munch on. and went back to buy some more to bring them back home. If you're not around hawaii, they do have a website where you can order from which is cool.

  • Helen Y.

Next to the Trefoil girl scout cookies, I also like these pineapple shaped shortbread ones. My favorite is the mango lilikoi. The chocolate dipped macadamia nut ones are also pretty tasty. I've been to 2 weddings in Oahu and both had these cookies as wedding favors -- a delicious idea! :)

    (4)
  • Katherine W.

These cookies are addictive! My favorite is the pineapple macadamia cookie. They are too die for. The chocolate macadamia and lilikoi mango are good, too. I'm usually not a food hoarder, but I'm embarassed to say that these cookies bring out the worst in me.

  • Kathy J.

These are the best cookies on the face of the planet. My husband & I discovered it on our 2nd honeymoon/his business trip to Oahu. We were staying at the Hilton and over the 5 days there discovered HCC on our last day. They graciously provided samples for visitors to try, but I didn't end up tasting these lovely treats until we arrived back home. The Kona Coffee is my absolute favorite. This little shortbread delight comes complete with a Kona coffee bean which I always save for last. Don't wait to visit the islands to try it. HCC ships to anywhere in the U.S. via their website.

YEAH!! it's like the BEST shortbread cookies in da' world! seriously!!! It's not cheap, but once you get addicted to da kine.. hard to let go! their cookies are soo good. i bought a box home when i visited last december. the chocolate ones are the best of course. they give you samples when youre in the store too. a bit pricey but the tourist that i am got sucked into it.

  • Mai N.

Is it possible to open up one of these stores on the mainland? The best cookies ever besides girl scout cookies of course. The flavors are awesome. My favorite is the mango, pineapple, kona, and lilikoi. good to know I can get them online :) A bit on the pricey side, but well worth it!

    (5)
  • Anita L.

Omigod, these are some of THE MOST delicious cookies I've ever tasted. The signature cookie is this macadamia nut butter shortbread cookie. They then make variations of it by dipping it into chocolate or adding tropical fruits such as mango, lilikoi (passionfruit), and pineapple. Other flavors include kona coffee, triple chocolate, and white chocolate kona coffee. If you are not going to Honolulu anytime soon, they also take orders via their website at honolulucookie.com

  • Ayu C.

wow wow! My favorite cookie comapny!! Every time my boss goes to Hawaii, he brings them back to us. My favorite flavors: *Chocolate Macadamia *White Chocolate Kona Coffee *Pineapple Macadamia *Triple Chocolate Macadamia They are so good!! You should try them! =)

Hey, if you like cookies i think you will like this place. The cookies melt in your mouth. We took back 2 huge boxes for two tiny people with ferocious appetites. It was not enough. Wish we had bought more.

  • Brian A.

I have an allegiance to certain things. When you ask, "What is the best cookie in Hawaii?" I'll answer, "Big Island Cookies." They were selling dipped short bread cookies way before HCC. So, of course you can't beat the original. These come a close second though. They're great for taking as gifts to the mainland. Everyone loves shortbread cookies and the one in the pineapple shape seems to wow everyone you give them to. One of the best things is that you get a punch card with purchase. We usually pick up quite a bit of them for gifts at one time, so we can pretty much redeem our card on the spot.

  • Bethel S.

My sister & her BF took me to the HCC in Honolulu & WOW. I've never had cookies so good! Love love love the chocolate dipped kona coffee ones. These are the perfect gifts...just make sure you don't eat them all before you get home!

Someone drag me away from this store. I drool incessantly when I think of the cookies, and my god, it's not a pretty sight. These are the ultimate gift for the cookie fiend on your list. It's expensive? Yah, but oh so worth it. My faves are the tiny shortbread chocolate chip ones. Oh god.

  • rachel r.

i freakin LOVE this place! they let you sample all the flavors! free cookies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and since there are a kajillion of these shops in honolulu (okay, maybe just 5 or 6), well, you can only imagine how many cookies i ate while visiting my girl in honolulu. my faves are any of the chocolate-dipped cookies... particularly the lilikoi w/ dark chocolate, kona w/ white chocolate and kona w/ dark chocolate. the prices are better once you buy in bulk, otherwise it less than a buck for 1. the second best part is that they're super nice. definitely a must when visiting oahu:) oh yeah, you can order these delicious puppies online, too.

This is the factory store for the Honolulu Cookie Company chain. It's pretty small, and easy to miss. It's in an industrial part of town, but is on the way to the airport from downtown Honolulu. Smaller selection than the other retail stores, but a 10% discount on cash purchases!

Evil Cookie Company! My coworker and my cousin who is local to Oahu turned me on to these cookies. Simply can't get enough. Got to be the best shortbread cookie out there. My favorite is still the Butter Macadamia. Although the Lilikoi comes in second. My cousin barters these cookies with me for stateside items she wants i.e. stuff she can't get in HI. Fair trade I say. Little does she know that I discovered HCC ships. I ordered my cookies on Monday AM and they came on Friday via UPS. I love the little pineapple shaped slices of heaven. You know, I am going to have one right now. I have four boxes right next to me.

Dee-li-shuz! These beat out those old skool boxes of Kauai Kookies we used to tote back to the mainland anyday. Now it's a lovely little box of pineapple shaped shortbread cookies dipped in chocolate that I have to lug back. I like the plain mac short and pine mac short too. Very reasonably priced, be careful though, offer them to your guests and they'll be gone in a blink of any eye!

These cookies (butter macadamia, lilikoi mango and kona coffee) plus a bag of Hawaiian Teas (Passion Fruit Na Pali) wrapped and sealed in a brown box were given to wedding guests at my nephew's wedding banquet. I enjoyed both items so much, and I wanted these items as a retirement party favor for my co-workers and friends, as a thank you for helping me in the office. (Yes, after almost 40 years of state service, I am set to retire and enjoy a certain amount of RR&R - relaxation, rest and retirement.) A telephone call was made to the Honolulu Cookie Company for more information on the cookies. A gentleman by the name of Ronson assisted me and answered my questions, telling me there were 12 more flavors - oh, yum. I ordered the teas and cookies from the respective websites of Hawaiian Coffee Company and Honolulu Cookie Company before the Labor Day weekend. (Seven boxes of assorted flavored teas - 140 tea bags; and 2 cookie jar containers of 6 different flavored cookies (8 of each flavor) - 96 cookies). The cookies finally arrived yesterday afternoon. Inasmuch as I want to devour at least a dozen of these delicate pineapple-shaped cookies in one sitting, I couldn't do so. I now have at least 60 party favors to assemble (two tea bags, one cookie and 2 Hershey macadamia nut kisses, see photo of party favor) before 9/24/2013. I know these cookies are fragile and yes some of them have crumbled. I don't like to place broken/crumbled cookies in a cellophane bag and hand them out as party favors. (IMO, whole cookies represent whole-heartedness; broken cookies represent a lack thereof.) I would rather eat a broken/crumbled cookie than give it away as a party favor. Well, two coconut cookies crumbled and I ate them...they complemented the coconut madamia tea very well - ono/yummy. (The Brits have high tea with their crumpets, English biscuits, scones, etc.) But, mmm...HI tea with Honolulu pineapple-shaped shortbread cookies at noon...kau kau time...high tea, Hawaiian-style. I know I cannot hold that teacup with thumb and little pinkie sticking out (the gesture of hang loose)...LOL. Mahalo nui, Honolulu Cookie Company, for putting a smile on my face and bringing in that Island sunshine to the mainland - Alameda, CA.

When we got to Hawaii we received a small welcome package from the Hotel and had a box of this cookies from then on we were hook! Now we send this delicious cookies to all our friends around the world! (We are military ;) and we always have some at home for us and for friends.

Best shortbread cookie ever! I was first introduced to these by my roomates family, who recently visited hawaii and brought back a box of these to share. They were so delicious!! They are packed with buttery taste and w/ some unique flavors. My favorite is the pink one (mango flavored!) And they are in a cute little pineapple shape. That same friend recently moved to Hawaii and when she visited, she left me another box of these. Needless to say I was so delighted! I've been saving them for those special days.

My friend who grew up here told me, when I moved to Hawaii, that I had to try these cookies. I was thinking, "Shortbread cookies? Big whoop." but then I finally went to Ward and bought a big box. The cookies are individually packaged, so I thought they would be stale. Nope. They are delicious, melt-in-your-mouth, crispy. Sometimes shortbread cookies have a weird aftertaste to me (cheap butter? IDK) but these don't. The chocolates are my favorites, but we tried all the flavors in the variety pack. My family and I ate almost the whole box on the way home. I was picking up cookie wrappers for days!

I saw the advertisement on the little brochures and couldn't wait to tase these cookies. I found another cookie shop in Waikiki but there didn't let you taste any - boo! So I didn't but a thing from them. Then I found the Honolulu Cookie shop and Eureka! They let you taste eveyrthing! I love the pineapple shape and the different nice containers they come in. I bought three boxes for gifts to take home. For a co-worker I got the coffee assortment, for bf's mom I got the tin assortment and for me I got another tin - YUM. I think my favorite are the ones wiht a chunk of pineapple in the middle and the one dipped in chocolate covered and sprinkled with coconut. You can oder online too!

Love these cookies! I live in Washington and whenever someone I know flies to Hawaii I always ask them to get me a big box of the white chocolate kona cofee cookies. One of the best flavors they have there. When I went to Hawaii I was kind of iffy about trying the cookies because I've come to realize that franchise companies don't always have the best foods. I was wrong on this one! The shortbread cooks are perfect and so addicting. They are a bit overprice in my opinion but worth every penny. One thing I really like about the Honolulu Cookie Company is that they provide samples of the cookies so that you can choose the ones to your liking. Many different variety and they come in the cutest pineapple shape. You can find many of these shops all over the island, mainly along the strip of the beach.

Gotta admit the prices of these cookie are quite high but it is a pretty well made cookie. Went to the Ward locations because it was suppose to be cheaper because it was not a full retail shop but had to leave early the next time so on the way to the airport because this location opens at 9am. The location was in a business are and was kinda sketchy and parking was extremely extremely limited, had to double park and run in. On the plus side 10% off if you pay with cash.

    (4)
  • Carolyn J.

Great place to pick up some last minute gifts on your way to HNL airport. Area kinda looked sketch, but street parking was a breeze. May be a little easy to miss, but once you find it, cookie goodness awaits. It's a small shop. We were the only customers in there! Able to browse without a crowd is great. I was told to head to this location because of its "outlet" type pricing. Yes it is a little cheaper, and if you pay in cash you get an extra 10% off. Similar to Big Island Candies, but with a FUN-er shape :) Grab some for your mainlanders. They'll love you forever.

If you like chocolate dipped cookies of the nutty variety in individually wrapped plastic bags, then this bakery has a lot to offer. The gift boxes are green and brown. This is a geographically specific gift unlike some other more generic cookie brands. This gift is recommended for appeasing the inner cookie monster.

  • Nancy T.

These are pretty good shortbread cookies. I liked the fact that they gave out free little samples so you could pick which ones you liked the best. I got the big silver assorted box because I liked all the ones I tasted and couldn't decide. The pineapple ones are especially good. I brought a box back with me from Honolulu. Next time I'd like to try the little mini goldfish shaped chocolate chip shortbreads. They were so cute. I wish they had a variety of cookies and not just the shortbread type, though. Shortbread is a little boring. I like chewy freshly baked cookies with lots of nuts and chips better than the dry crumbly texture of shortbread.

    (4)
  • Kim l.

I heart their samples! Favorite: the original shortbread cookie. Second fav: white choc dipped cookie. All of them are pretty good. They have cute boxes that are either prepackaged or you can mix and match your cookies and package them yourself.

The debate between who has the best short bread cookie, Big Island Candies or Honolulu Cookie Company will likely continue for the rest of our lives. Its a comparison similar to who has the better cola, Pepsi or Coke, but the simple truth is that Honolulu Cookie Company is conveniently located throughout Hawai'i and has a kiosk at Ala Moana Shopping Center. Unlimited cookie samples definitely help when you can't decide between coffee flavored or dark chocolate shortbread. Furthermore, I'm not going to search for my Big Island Candies catalog whenever I want my immediate shortbread cookie fix.

I had heard good things about the Honolulu Cookie Company but I was skeptical. I have stood in long lines at hyped up dessert places only to find the items overpriced and just not very good. It is a matter of taste, obviously, but I was very happy. Every time I walked by a store (and occasionally I might have purposefully waked by a store) I had to go in for at least one sample. Delicious! I ended up buying a bunch of boxes as gifts for others (and for myself) near the end of my trip, but I was very pleased that during our (numerous) sampling visits beforehand we were never pressured to buy and the sales associates were friendly and knowledgeable.

HAHA whenever i passed by a store I used to always take $10 worth of samples and I'd force my boyfriend to do the same!!! HAHA! in one day I probably ate $100 worth of samples from 4 different stores!!! LOL. lucky enough for me my boyfriend is from HI and has connections at the company store. DAMN DO I LOVE THESE COOKIES!

Our friends were married in Hawaii, but had their reception in California and gave these little pineapple shaped cookies out as favors. They are absolutely DIVINE! The white and dark chocolate dipped coffee flavored ones were my favorite. I need to find these locally if possible! This is some of the most delicious shortbread that I have ever had in my life!

    (5)

Probably the best shortbread cookies I have ever had. A definite treat if bringing back to the mainland. Try the choclate covered ones...they are great with good 100% Kona Coffee.

yummy! we used this cute pineapple shaped macadamia nut cookie dipped in chocolate for your wedding favors! it reminds me of big island cookies in hilo!

while the chocolate covered shortbreads, are good, they're no big island candies. the shortbread cookie just isn't as buttery and flavorful as the big island candies.. the honolulu cookie company is just a wannabe.

A must buy whenever I am in Honolulu! 10% off with cash or 5% with credit. This shop is pretty tiny and might not have all the same packaged boxes as the main stores but they still have quite a bit of selection. Lady at the counter was super nice and helpful. Will never had to shop in a packed retail store again!

  • Robert H.

We received a box of these cookies from some good friends of ours. We liked them so much we figured we'd order a couple of boxes to give as gifts. Unfortunately when they arrived, I noticed that the chocolate was melted in both boxes. I emailed customer service right away. The very next morning I got a response from Geena, who was the same representative that processed my order. Without any type of questioning, she apologized and offered to replace both boxes free of charge. Not only do they make the best cookies, but they have the best customer service I've ever experienced! Thank you Geena!!!

We used these for wedding party favors because their boxes are beautiful. Best flavor of the bunch has to be the chocolate chocolate.

We got these as a gift and the cookies are divine! I loved the kona coffee cookie. You can taste this coffee in each bite! Luckily, you don't have to go to Hawaii to get these because they sell them online! Prices are reasonable. Off to buy some more!

If you're a lover of cookies, this is the place to go. They have all the flavors of Hawaii neatly tucked into a pineapple shaped cookie. Made great gifts! I know because I ordered the #1 shaped cookies, picked my favorite pineapple macadamia flavor as party favors for my son's first birthday. Each cookie is individually wrapped. There is a minimum order of 100 pieces per flavor/shape for the party favor order and qualify for bulk pricing of $0.50 each for non-chocolate dipped and $0.55 each for chocolate dipped cookie. 21 of 31 Yelp 31 Day Challenge

Small little hole in the wall factory store for the cookie company. They offer a decent selection of cookies at discounted rates compared to the stores in the malls. 5% off credit card payment 10% off cash payment Wasn't as busy today when we visited so the cashier was able to answer all questions we had. There aren't any samples at this store so come prepared to know which flavors of cookies you're looking to buy. Products look scarce on the shelves but they had plenty in the back of the store due to limited shelf space. It's on the way to the airport so in your way home stop by for some souvenir cookies.

****online/mail order review**** Absolutely delicious. Pricey but worth it. Assorted cookies come in a beautiful gift box. Dark choclate macadamia is my favorite...oh wait I don't have a favorite ...arrgh I love ' em all!

These cookies are addictive! My favorite is the pineapple macadamia cookie. They are too die for. The chocolate macadamia and lilikoi mango are good, too. I'm usually not a food hoarder, but I'm embarassed to say that these cookies bring out the worst in me.

Is it possible to open up one of these stores on the mainland? The best cookies ever besides girl scout cookies of course. The flavors are awesome. My favorite is the mango, pineapple, kona, and lilikoi. good to know I can get them online :) A bit on the pricey side, but well worth it!

I heart their samples! Favorite: the original shortbread cookie. Second fav: white choc dipped cookie. All of them are pretty good. They have cute boxes that are either prepackaged or you can mix and match your cookies and package them yourself.

    (5)
  • Sogol G.

  • Liz T.

Go crazy =D

This is the factory store for the Honolulu Cookie Company chain. It's pretty small, and easy to miss. It's in an industrial part of town, but is on the way to the airport from downtown Honolulu. Smaller selection than the other retail stores, but a 10% discount on cash purchases!

i LOVE these pineapple-shaped shortbread cookies! my favorite is actually one that doesn't seem as popular as the others -- the mini chocolate chip shortbread cookies that come in a box or a round container (not individually wrapped), my second favorite is the chocolate dipped macadamia shortbread, where the buttery shortbread cookie is dipped in plenty of high-quality chocolate. YUM. i also like that you can sample all of their flavors, and in fact, they encourage you to try every flavor, secure in the knowledge that tasting = falling in love = buying. ;) the cookies are available for purchase in various combinations (the boxes are perfect for gift-giving), and you can also create your own combos.

Mmmmm! Yum! Must try!

My favorite is just like anyone else- the pineapple flavor one. Gosh it is DE-LI-CI-OUS to da max!!! The cookies are just melt in your mouth and get you soo addicted to them!! Other than pineapple, another ono kind is Lilikoi Mango. Guarantee make you come back for some more!

    (5)
  • Dina V.

    (5)
  • Marsh-Silog P.

Probably the best shortbread cookies I have ever had. A definite treat if bringing back to the mainland. Try the choclate covered ones...they are great with good 100% Kona Coffee.

yummy! we used this cute pineapple shaped macadamia nut cookie dipped in chocolate for your wedding favors! it reminds me of big island cookies in hilo!

    (4)
  • Waynele Y.

while the chocolate covered shortbreads, are good, they're no big island candies. the shortbread cookie just isn't as buttery and flavorful as the big island candies.. the honolulu cookie company is just a wannabe.

    (4)
  • Bethel S.

My sister & her BF took me to the HCC in Honolulu & WOW. I've never had cookies so good! Love love love the chocolate dipped kona coffee ones. These are the perfect gifts...just make sure you don't eat them all before you get home!

  • Charlene L.

Oh god.

    (5)
  • Deanthony N.

Hehe need I say more?

i freakin LOVE this place! they let you sample all the flavors! free cookies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and since there are a kajillion of these shops in honolulu (okay, maybe just 5 or 6), well, you can only imagine how many cookies i ate while visiting my girl in honolulu. my faves are any of the chocolate-dipped cookies... particularly the lilikoi w/ dark chocolate, kona w/ white chocolate and kona w/ dark chocolate. the prices are better once you buy in bulk, otherwise it less than a buck for 1. the second best part is that they're super nice. definitely a must when visiting oahu:) oh yeah, you can order these delicious puppies online, too.

  • Queena W.

  • Wendy H.

We got these as a gift and the cookies are divine! I loved the kona coffee cookie. You can taste this coffee in each bite! Luckily, you don't have to go to Hawaii to get these because they sell them online! Prices are reasonable. Off to buy some more!

  • Consuela P.

  • Margaret D.

  • Heidi H.

    (5)
  • Mallory P.

I am not really into cookies but this place transformed me into the damn cookie monster!! Seriously, these cookies are like little bites of heaven. My favorite ones are: the pineapple macademia shortbread, lilikoi mango, and dark chocolate shortbread!! God picking three was hard because they are all so damn in good!!! Go to the store - try the flavors out. I actually saw people cruising the "sample" area while I was in the store making my purchases. :) If you get really desperate, order the cookies online!!

Picked up a friend from the airport who was returning from Hawaii. They brought me cookies, which I thought would be sadly a bit stale if I kept them a day, but I was in luck! I didn't know that the shortbreads would be individually packaged (perfect for gifting), and that I would get such a hefty assortment of pineapple-shaped shortbreads. I was a little sad that they aren't labelled with what flavors they are, but there is a mix of coconuts, dark, white, and milk chocolates, and pink, tan, and white shortbreads. Delicious, so good with the morning coffee. These are a much better touristy gift than those chocolate covered macademia nuts, which are super tasty, but you can get them in California :) These cookies are special.
