Decent place. This is at the mall so don't be surprised if it is packed. They have salmon salads and stuff where I didn't try. I had the teriyaki beef and shrimp and it was actually delicious. 3 stars because it sufers from a typical problem in hawaii, too much rice and barely any salad. I'm talking like 2 bites. Disappointed today. As my order of salmon salad definitely notice less salad in my dish compared to previous order of two weeks ago. Must be cutting cost or lack of consistency May decide to come back

I went here because the pictures they have advertised looks so delicious. I ordered the steak plate because the picture showed lots of mushrooms and of course I opted for the Angus steak which was a $1 more. So I sat down at my desk, opened my plate, all I see is lots of rice, NO MUSHROOMS, lots of onions, some salad, about 6 pieces of steak which has waaaaay too much pepper. So, what did I pay the extra dollar for again??? Sorry to say I'm not going back. Now I have to go get something else to eat.

I had the salmon plate for dinner last night, this was my 2nd time eating it. but it wasn't as good as I remembered, I thought they might give me the wrong sauce, as I required the ginger garlic sauce, but my sauce tasted like the teriyaki one, I might be wrong about this, or they only got teriyaki sauce left last night. I prefer a lighter- taste sauce, and my sauce last night overpowered!

Had the chicken and steak teppanyaki plate and could have shared it with someone else it was so big. Nice!!!

Today Hibach-San messed up an order and apparently its now policy to ignore the customer and refuse to do anything even with a receipt to prove it. We asked for brown rice which is 50 cents more and instead got white rice and the wrong sauce. Instead of an exchange they refused to do anything or adjust the order or the money paid for the meal. We are never coming here again. This is a policy that is unacceptable for any establishment to have. Until this changes I will never again eat there.
