Don't go to this location!! Currently a character there named "Seeve" - older Asian guy who is the worst at customer service and the rudest I have ever seen. I had never set foot into the store prior to this evening. Seeve watches me and my family walk in to make an order, he quickly walks to the storage area in the back. Couple minutes later he walks back, sees I am still on only one standing there waiting on service...he acts busy then leaves again. Finally when he comes back out front, I ask for a sample of one of the new flavors. He reluctantly takes out a sample spoon, gets a tiny sample then vigorously shakes the spoon in effort to make as much fall off as possible. Instead of asking if I wanted to try anything else or if I wanted to place an order, he rudely walks off to the back again. He comes out and asks to help some customers that had walked in after me and I'm still standing in the same place trying to place an order. I finally ask another worker to help to place an order and asked the name of the rude and disrespectful man there. Although the milkshake was good, the extremely rude and juvenile customer service from Seeve will leave a permanent bad taste in my mouth. Find a new job Seeve, YOU FAIL!! Never going to that shop again.Your review helps others learn about great local businesses.

Only great thing about this place was that the ice cream tasted great and Gayla had a great Aloha spirit about her. The other young guy needed to definitely smile and take pride in his job. Credit card machine was broken, but notification to customers about that could have been better communicated. Overall my experience was not the best, customer service needs to improve especially at that location (Waikiki). 2 stars for Gayla!!!!!!

I love Haagen Dazs ice cream. My favorite is: a cup of coffee ice cream topped with hot fudge and almonds. Yum! And to make it even better? Eating it across the street on a little bench facing the ocean water and the ocean of people soaking up the late afternoon sun. Ahhhhh....delicious and relaxing. P.S. Some of the employees act like they don't want to be there, but that's okay with me. I just smile at them and I don't let their attitude diminish my experience. ;-)

I can't help but feel like I'm buying overpriced ice cream in Waikiki by virtue of the location. I guess if you're dying for ice cream in the area, this is a good choice.

Went to the Pacific Beach Hotel location. The WORKER there was so RUDE!!! Decided to take my grandkids to get some ice cream, since we were staying at the hotel. No greeting from unfriendly worker; didn't have the courtesy to inform customers that the credit card machine was out of order. "Cash sign" was not visible at all! No manager or assistance manager on site to make a complaint! Very disappointed with service! Took grandkids to Yogurtland, where the service there, was much better. WILL NEVER GO BACK TO HAAGEN DAZ!!! You just lost one customer!!!

Haagen Daz has always been my favorite brand for ice cream.. and it still is but this location sucks major @$$.. The bf and I decided to make a quick stop here before heading to a friend's birthday party at a nearby hotel. It wasn't crowded..thank goodness.. but my oh my.. those workers need a great big lesson in customer service. When walking into the shop.. no greeting or anything.. we were looking at what we were going to get and the girl behind the counter just stayed where she was.. zoning off. until we had to actually walk up to her and ask her if we could order. no friendliness whatsoever.. I got the dulce de leche (winners!) and the bf got something else.. i dont remember lol i was too engrossed in my ice cream lol. but the service. terrible. no "thank you" or anything.. These girls need to seriously buck up or find another job because you're making it a very unpleasant experience for everyone coming into the store.

My boyfriend and I decided to go get some ice cream here. As we enter, there were only two workers there (a boy and a girl). In line there were six customers ahead of us and four behind us. The boy was helping every customers in order. As the girl stood in one spot doing paperwork. I believe she is the Manager there. About 10 mins later the boy is with the last customer ahead of us. When the irl decided to take the customer before us. The boy said to her that we were next. She didnt say anything and continue serving those customers. The boy told us he is sorry and will be right with us. (HE SHOULDN'T BE SORRY AT ALL... HE WAS DOING AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE). If she is the Manager... that is very sad. I'm a Manager for a 4 star restaurant and i will never have 10 people waiting n letting one person work. Worst customer service by the girl but THE BOY WAS AWESOME... EVEN THOUGH I WAS UPSET... HE HAD ME SMILING WHEN I LEFT. MOSTLY I WOULDN'T COME HERE IF SHE IS WORKING.

Love HaagenDazs ice cream but this location has rude workers! me and the ex decided to do a Waikiki date this past Tuesday night and after having ramen for dinner we passed by here and decided to try it out rather than going to Bubbies after. The place was packed with tourist sitting down and waiting to get their ice cream. I will say they have tons of unique flavors, I asked one of the two workers if I could sample the caramel cone but the waffle tasted soggy so I got a small cup of mint chip (my #1 favorite flavor) instead. The ex wanted to sample 2 flavors and the worker gave him a sny look like we were being inconvenient to her. I felt like we were rushed throughout our order and both girls didn't give a single smile or say hello or goodbye to us....kind of rude especially because we are locals and for people paying a lot just for ice cream.

Wanted a milk shake in waikikki. $6.60 no big deal given their location. Didn't see how much ice cream they put into their blender. 5 seconds blending. Whipped cream and we went back to the nearby hotel. What a disappointment. The milk shake was basically just milk. Should have gone to Teddy's famous burgers down the street. They do a good milk shake.

Salted Carmel truffle ice cream! That's all you need to know. Just repeat it to your server. You will thank me later. You also need to eat it in a chocolate dipped waffle cone . It's really the only way to truly enjoy it. The location is fun for people watching and they move pretty quickly inside.

The mint dazzler is f-ing amazing. Layers and layers of mint ice cream, Oreos, and fudge.... Oh my goodness. Granted, it's like $8 so it should be pretty amazing, but it is worth the splurge every now and then. It's pretty much my perfect ice cream treat. If there were no such thing as calories this is pretty much all I would ever eat. 1 star off just because it's really really expensive.

A bunch of us had a craving for shaved ice on Wednesday night, but couldn't find a late night place that was open. We were roaming around the streets of Honolulu and finally came upon Haagen-Daz which happened to be right across the street from our hotel, the Moana Surfrider. As we walked in we grabbed a number from their numbering system. I was amazed to see that the majority of the people after us tried bypassing the numbering system and would push their way to the front cash register to try and order. Luckily the employees went solely by the numbers. In the end I odered the Java Chip in a cup with a hot fudge topping.

As always haagen dazs ice cream tastes amazing! they have excellent service. quick and very friendly! we had the brownies alamode sundae and the vanilla bean espresso sundae. omg it was sooooooo good! what was very surprising to me was that the brownies were in the ice cream! not just on top! although im not a big fan of hot fudge (hate how it melts my ice cream) it taste really good with the combo of that and caramel. as for the vanilla bean sundae, just delish.
