I like how charley's always seems to be in food courts, and this one is no exception. Actually, I don't know of any stand-alone ones... But any way, the staff here seems to change quite often (like every few months or so) but they must be training them right because its very consistent on three levels: food quality, speed of service, and positive attitude.

Philly cheese steak sub was delicious. The bacon and cheese fries were also delicious. Only thing I didn't like was the flat diet Pepsi. I prefer the Hickam AFB location as they have seasoning salt available to add more flavor to the fries and sandwiches if needed.

Never mind Subway or Blimpie, Charley's has great sandwiches and fries! The Philly Cheese Steak and Buffalo Wing sandwiches are awesome. But, their cheese and bacon fries is also very good. I go to the NEX food court location. Service is good when not busy. I try to avoid going during prime meal times.

The food was good, but here's a warning- check your receipts. I went to Charley's while at the NEX mall in Oahu, and decided to get a Chicken Philly large sub, which was priced at $8.86 plus tax. They charged me $9.36 plus tax. I looked at my receipt while waiting for my food and found the error, and went up to the counter and told them about it when I collected my food. Me: "Hey. The amount you charged me is different from the amount you're advertising on your sign up there (points to sign)". The response I got was, "I'll let my manager know". Umm, how about addressing the fact that you stole my $0.50? I told the gal at the counter, "You charged me the wrong amount..." She replied, "I'll let my manager know. You're sitting over there right?" She pointed to my spot where my wife and kid sat down in the food court. I was somewhat satisfied that the manager would come out and address the situation. Needless to say, we finished our meal, and no manager came out. I didn't bother to fight it for fifty cents because I was with my family and the little one was getting restless. I feel like business who rob and cheat their customers should not be rewarded with five star reviews on Yelp. The manager and/or employees should have addressed the issue (either change the price on the sign posted, or given my 50 cents back) when I brought it up. I hate to say it, but this is the kind of customer service at military installations that gives the military a bad name... Very disappointed in this experience.

ERMEHGAWD CHARLEY'S!!! NOM NOM NOM NOM Just thinking about their food makes me hungry. This restaurant reminds me of a place back home called The Great Esteak. It was pretty awesome and so is this place. I'm pretty sure it's one of the rare places that sells flavored lemonade. I know it's super sugared and not healthy for you at all but it's SOO GOOD!! I love how their sandwiches are grilled and they are semi healthy. I can usually eat a sandwich by itself and be full. I don't need the fries that come with it. The best thing about the fries is the seasoning song. With this salt you do NOT need dipping sauce. You can eat them plain. If you don't agree with me you can always get the fries with cheese and bacon. That's usually what my husband gets and he wolfs down an order of that AND a sandwich. This place is that good!! I totally agree with Nat N. Forget Subway, Forget Blimpies. Charley's is where it's at!! Now I'm hungry thinking about it. Anyone want to go to?

If I could give negative stars I would. This place is a rotten stub! The staff stands around and doesn't really pay attention! If you ask for anything on your sub you wont revive it! Work at the NEX so I use to come here often but I got so very tired of not getting what I ordered and today it happened again! And you can't go take a survey like the receipt says because it doesn't give you the proper store number! So I'm very positive corporate isn't herring this! And its so aggravating when you spend so much on some food and can't even get some pickles on it!!! I'm angry because they don't care and it's effecting the company! Also people's food and if anyone else is like me their food is very important! And I want people to know all of this so they think twice P.S I made this yelp account just to review this awful spot

Forget Subway! Charley's is where it's at for onolicious subs! They load their subs with steak and cheese for a hearty meal at a decent price. Why the 5 star rating? My sub and fries were piping hot when I got them! I actually had to let the food cool off for a minute!
