This is the only Filipino food place near my house, so my bf and I come here when I'm too lazy to make my own adobo. Service is fast here and mostly pleasant. The chicken or pork adobo is hit or miss here. Sometimes it's soft, sometimes hard. The chicken adobo is simmering in a orange brine, but often it's dry. Same with the pork adobo, but I'll still eat it. The pancit is yummy. I wish you could replace the rice in their plate lunch with pancit, but it's not allowed. Pancit is either Ala carte, or a choice in your plate lunch. Plate lunches are offered with one, two or three choices with two scoops of rice. You can also get any of their items in a pint size take out container, but it's pricier than getting the plate lunch itself. Plate lunches start from almost eight dollars for one choice up to almost eleven dollars for three choices. Pint size runs around eight or nine dollars. I usually get the adobo, but they also offer chicken marungay, pork guisantes, lumpia, lechon, and a few other dishes that I don't know the name of. Bautista's is located in the food court in Macy's side. There are plenty of tables and a restroom nearby. Hint: grab the coupon out of the Pearlridge catalog near the mall entrances for a free drink with a two choice plate.

I always like coming here when I feel like eating Filipino food. I really like their pandit. They only thing that suck is you can only get pancit as a main choice and have to get rice with everything, most places let you replace rice with pancit.

You really can't go wrong here. Craving of Filipino food is definitely satisfied always when eating here. Although this place is located in the crazy mess of a food court in Pearlridge uptown mall, I'll suck it up for an hour to eat here. For about 10 dollars you get a heaping plate full of your choices. My go to dishes are always the Lechon Kawali, Pancit, Green papaya chicken & pork guisanties. excuse my spelling! Fast, cheap, delicious & because the portions are so big, you even have dinner for later!

I come here every time I visit Pearlridge, which is a lot sometimes. I can't get enough of their food, I love Filipino food! I choose new things to try and end up loving it. For a mall, this food court has some healthy food choices, and I always feel good and energized after eating at Bautistas. The aunties there are super sweet. They make good banana lumpia too, I like to have one after my meal. The chicken adobo is tender and full of flavor. Delicious! I probably will continue to go there every time I go to Pearlridge so I don't get disappointed by whatever else I choose. I also enjoy that you walk in from a parking area that typically has parking and it is right there, below all of my favorite shops!

We was in line for awhile now and the lady glances at me and my gf, then instead of us asks the older people in the back of us if they needed help. We were in line looking at the food of course we are gonna buy! We told her we were first but then asked the people instead for the answer, just because we are young doesnt mean you can be rude af. She swore under her breathe in filipino and was salty the whole time she was helping us. Ohh and btw you cant double up on choices. Giving a one star just for the food.

Bautista's in my opinion,is the best authentic Filipino fast foods place that I know of with deliciously prepared dishes that will rival some of the best eat in Pinoy retaurants anywhere including the Philippines. Over the years I've tried every single dish that Bautista's has offered, from adobo pork belly to halo halo and have never yet been disappointed. My personal faves : pancit, squid guisado, and pork blood stew. The staff here has always been friendly, the portions very generous and the food consistently delish. Only let down here is it's probably not recommended for those watching their waste line. But an occasional indulgence in moderation is Okay... Right ?

Went to Bautistas restaurant on 7/3 about 845 pm.Stood in front of the worker who I taught would serve me as soon as she seen me but that was not the case.I stood in front of her watching her clean up for 5 mins with no acknowledgement or anything. She didn't even say hello I will be right with you.She jus wanted to keep cleaning.I don't think I will bring my business their ever again after this incident.I finally jus walked away. What terrible customer service they have.Would not recommend eating their at night because they want to cleanup and go home.

We always enjoy lunch here. Squid and the Ribs are winnahs. Lechon is spot on as well. The rice is sometimes too mushy though. The ladies are really nice. Keep in mind if you want fresh, you gotta go during lunch rush, but yes, you gotta make line, and yes, you gotta fight for a table in the food court: but well worth it. Always full after we eat, so go walk the Mall and do some window shopping after...enjoy

Something is wrong with their lechon. The pork is very hard to chew like rubber it doesn't go anywhere so I basically have to just swallow it. Go try their lechon and tell me I'm wrong. I thought it was just that one time but I've gotten it a second time after that and it was the same. Other than their lechon the food here is good and I like how it's fast and convenient to my house. I come here when I want fast filipino food but I will no longer be getting their lechon.

5 stars dont come often in my reviews. That should tell you all you need to know. Food is great, and the service is super friendly. Their portions are huge and the easy access in the mall is a plus.

This is a pretty good fast food filipino place! I am suuuuper picky so thats saying something. For me, this is the best pancit I have tasted so far (that was not in made in my mother's or my grandmother's kitchen). The noodles are cooked and flavored well. They also are VERY generous with their servings. I love that they put a ton of veggies and meat so it's not just noodles! They also give you lemon slices :) Tip: Get the large portion and share it. My mother and I tried to finish and we couldn't! I am also a fan of the chicharon dish. It is tossed with tomatoes and onions (raw). Can I say YUM?! It was really really good and the pieces of chicharon were meaty! I loved this dish, almost MORE than the pancit. I unfortunately haven't tried anything else at this place, but I have to go back. Recommended: - Pancit - Chicharon with Tomatoes and Onions If you are looking for Filipino food in Pearlridge, don't hesistate and stop by! Just go to the Uptown Food Court!

To have Ana Bautista (from what I'm told, she's the OWNER's daughter, call her hard working staff DUMMIES in front of a whole line of people waiting to order is inexcusable. To have that same person refuse to sell you a quart sized order of something because "she needed to satisfy her customers and only had a a limited quantity," what did this make me....an alien from outer space or a customer? My total order would have amounted to more than $100. but she chose to sell it on a plate over a quart sized container, She went on berating her worker serving me, insisting that she should know better...while at least 20 people stood by watching her make a total a$$ of herself. It's just too bad I didn't have my phone with me, I would have videoed the entire scene and put it on YouTube for all to have a good laugh!!!! To all you hard workers @ Bautista's, congratulations, you all deserve a medal for putting up with $hit!!!!!!

Hate to give such a bad review, because ladies were nice but damn food was terrible. I am fillipino and sorry wow that was the worst fillipino food I ever had. I am so sorry, but do not eat here.

Now, this is my second time eating Filipino food and I don't know whether it's bad Filipino food or that's just how Filipino food is supposed to taste like but I know I didn't like it here at Bautista's. I tried three of their food and all of them were bad. I only ate a little bit and threw away the rest.

Horrible service followed by low quality food and then over charged. Asked to have a double portion as all menus state "any". Lady behind the line says ukininam.. I humbly back off and say that's ok may I get two one choice plates. She dumps the two scoops of rice back into the pot and wipes the to go container with the towel in her back pocket (against her @$$) before she puts it back in the stack. She then say "Bastos" and smiles saying how can I help you. I reorder two single servings of the same item at $7 at change. In reviewing the signs nothing states no double orders. They do have a sign stating split or additional containers will be charged. In line I hear "some thing to drink?" Still dumbfounded after being called an a$$hole and bastard I look up. The same lady is on the counter in my face asking me "drink.. Something to drink". I responded no and asked for the manager. At this time she spoke to the cashier and in Filipino told her to over charge me. I was told my two one choice plates would be $34. This is when I spoke up and replied in the same language. The rude person behind the counter began apologizing. When I asked for the manager all workers behind the counter didn't know who their boss was. Couldn't give me her name. Non spoke in Filipino again. I left and called and asked to speak to the manager. I was told her name was Jurine and she would be able to assist me.. It's been two weeks. Bad customer service. Bad food! Bad management! Do not eat here unless you like to be talked about, belittled or ripped off..

Great food! I was skeptical thinking good Filipino food could be served fresh and tasty in a mall food court but was I wrong. Great service also, the nice counter ladies weren't pushy and were patient while you make your choice in the midst of their vast selection of entrees. 5 stars for what it is, FRESH, FAST, FRIENDLY and FRUGAL...oh and how can I forget, FILIPINO.

I love bautistas. I won't go to the other location by pearl city don quijote. This is by far the best. Th staff is consistent and always polite. The lechon and ribs are always a favorite of mine. They looked like they ran out of suman but it was the lunch rush and very busy.

Lechon kawali was only fat on skin, chewing on it was like chewing on leather. Also had the pork hocks which was hard not cooked long enough very hard not cooked right. I also bought chicken squash, smelled awful like boiled chicken in its broth to rid of smell. They put a shame of filipino food, don't get your filipino here, best to travel to the next city in Waipahu to get your Filipino food fix or go to Kalihi and get it there. This place is not worth eating at.

I am quite surprised that this is the only Pinoy food place in the Pearlridge Center. If you think about it, this is the only Pinoy food place within the Pearlridge area period. Sometimes my mom goes here for grindz. I used to go here often back in the days but not so much nowadays because I do most of my daily/weekly activities in town. My mom always gets their party platter trays such as pancit. Most of their stuff like adobo, bangus, lechon kawali, sinigang, etc. is sarap (delicious). Their prices are decent. The staff and customer service is great. Haven't really tried their desserts because the food just makes you too full and satisfied but should try soon. It's conveniently located inside the downtown Pearlridge food court right next to Subway. Yelp 365 Challenge #102/365

On those rare days whenever I do come shopping in Pearl Ridge...I always tend to eat here. Since I don't normally eat Filipino food unless it's my mom or grandmas cooking back home, I always get doubts in eating other people's cooking...But hearing good things about this place and after trying it a few years ago I've always loved their food! I normally get the 2 choices of their yummy chicken papaya, and singigang banus (milk fish) with pancit and rice. The broth in those dishes is heart warming and never to salty. The pancit is always fresh and they give a lot...I wish I could say the same for the entrees tho because they are a little stingy when it comes to the meats! I love that they have these packets of home made chili pepper vinegar...I tend to ask for more than 2 because I love my food spicy! The prices are kinda pricey especially for so little..But i don't mind since everything else in the food court isn't to great.

The BF and I love the food at Bautista's ! It's one of our regular spots. Even if we have no reason to be at Pearlridge, it's not unusual for us to stop there just to eat at Bautista's as long as we are in the area (or even just going through the area). One of our faves is the lechon. They mix it with tomatoes and onions. We're thinking they probably add some patis in there, but we're not sure. I know -- what kind of Filipina am I when I can't even discern the taste of the magic flavoring they use in their lechon! Whatever it is, it's the reason why we can't eat lechon anywhere else. Their's is the best! :) The BF also gets the squid and kinda rotates between the pig's feet or pig's ears/intestines. Along with the lechon, I usually get the dinuguan. Sometimes, I'll have the pinakbet, too. Everything that we've eaten there is tasty, and I say that as a customer who has been eating there since the 90's. Wow, I feel old saying that! Portions are pretty good, too. There is one younger gal there that usually gives pretty hefty sized portions. I love it when she waits on me! The owner is often there working the register. She usually keeps things moving along, and you can tell that she wants to be sure the customers are taken care of and things are in order. She's always very professional and courteous. As much as we love Bautista's, I won't give it five stars because they don't allow you to split the starch into half rice/half pancit. Also, the seating there can be tough depending on the time of day. Bautista's is located in the food court, so you'll definitely want to try and avoid peak hours to increase your chances of getting a table. If you plan to do take out, that shouldn't matter. Now, I know that the seating issue is not their fault, but I am basing my rating on my overall experience. That being said, I would actually give them 4.5 stars if I could!

Reviewing for my boyfriend as he eats here when he's getting his craving for Filipino food... located at Uptown Pearlridge next to Subway. They have standard plate lunches (2 choice or 3 choice) and desserts too. He always gets a plate with white rice, longanisa, and pinakbet. They HEAP on the food at this joint! Seriously they PILE IT ON! You're totally getting your money's worth when you eat here. He said the food is pretty good and he always finishes it so it must be lol. The ladies working here are sweet and friendly each and every time. He also gets the dessert... I don't know what it's called but it's like 3 round doughnut looking things on a stick. That's his favorite! You can get a whole lotta food for $8! I've tried their pancit bihon here (my fave Filipino dish) and it's okay... but my boyfriend's mom still makes the best bihon I've ever had!

Im torn about what to rate this place. I think its cause im biased about the way filipino food is made. What I ate was something my mom makes....and who can ever beat your own moms cooking? I liked the food, but it just doesnt compare.

This is my go to spot when i'm craving Filipino food! I LOVE Filipino food, but unfortunately I am not a great cook when it comes to making it myself. I always leave that to my mom. :) Bautista's is located in the Pearlridge uptown food court. They have their food laid out like Panda Express and you choose your type of plate, 2 choices, 3 choices, etc. Aside from entrees they have minimal "dessert" type of food like banana lumpia. Bautista's Filipino Kitchen is a great place to get Filipino food. The portions are usually reasonable, depending on who serves you. There are times when I would receive bigger portions and times when the portions are smaller, but I am always satisfied. My favorites are their pinakbet & lechon kawali. Their pinakbet isn't too salty like others and is just perfect. The lechon kawali is crispy most of the time, depending on how long it has been sitting there. I recommend eating at the food court so the meat doesn't get soggy if getting the lechon kawali. I give this place 5-stars because it's convenient, fast, and has a good variety of Filipino food.

i don't get what the rave is about this place. ..food is not that great; well, imo...was a bit too oily for my taste and the presentation of the selection wasnt all too appealing. i guess its true when they say "nothing like grandma's cooking".

This is what the Makai Market (foodcourt) is missing in the Ala Moana shopping center. Filipino food. Even though Pearlridge is ghetto fabuloius, when I'm being indecisive on where I'd like to go shopping, I often choose Pearlridge over Alamoana just so I can eat at Bautista's. While it's not the best filipino food on the island, it is really good. They're friendly and if you tip them, they will pile your plate up high with your favorite adobo, gisantes, dinaguan, bittermelon, chicken squash, they got it all. Everything's homemade. Check out Bautista's, a much better choice than subway, pizza hut, taco bell or orange julius.

I'd like to say that you guys are doing an awesome job. You guys make really good food that people enjoy, especially the kare kare. It's my favorite! I had that last night and I felt like I was in heaven. I couldn't stop smiling! My girlfriend was also with me and every time she orders food, she also gets the chicken with papaya soup. She loves it! The one we attended to was at Pearlridge shopping center.

Love me some filipino food. One of the better places to come for adobo, pancit, etc. I usually get chicken or pork adobo two choice. Some of the other items look tasty in which I have yet to try. Great place for bold flavors and quick food.

  • Reuben R.

I shared a lunch with my friend here before we headed to go see a movie. I think we came a little bit after the usual lunchtime, but the food court was still pretty packed. We got adobo and some... tinola... well, I thought it was okay, just really oily. But hey, some people like it that way. I just kind of don't really dig it like that. Well, we didn't really finish up our food, but at least it made us "not hungry" anymore. It was okay, but ya... okay, I don't really want to come back.
