Came to Noca to celebrate my Birthday dinner. My first dining experience here was so fantastic I thought I was in for another lovely meal. I was extremely disappointed. I ordered the Pistachio Crusted Grouper with the scalloped potatoes. They usually serve a bread basket when you arrive, but this was not the case tonight. Maybe they had run out, because some of the other tables had bread. The food was HORRIBLE! The "fresh" Grouper was evidently days (weeks?) old and had a very strong fishy taste and odor. YUCK!!! It was also pink in the middle! Needless to say, I did not eat it. The potatoes were hard and undercooked. Rather than make a scene in front of my friend, I said I wasn't hungry and would "take it home for later." I did end up bringing it home and tried to feed the fish to my cat, who loves fish!!! Now I know it wasn't just me. MY CAT WOULDN'T EVEN EAT IT!!' Now that's real bad! I will never go back. I'm embarrassed to have been the one to recommend this restaurant to my friend.

Good food, subpar service. Empty water glasses and the server lacked knowledge of how to properly address a table deep in conversation. I felt like I was at IHOP.

We went on Monday night to try the $5 burger special, and it was fantastic. We sat outside on a lovely patio filled with people enjoying burgers. The atmosphere was cozy and comfortable. Our server was cheerful and helpful. Service was prompt and attentive, but allowed appropriate time for conversation. The burgers were perfect, and the truffle fries were a great accompaniment. The evening was filled with great food, relaxation, and lots of laughs.

A good choice for a special occasion dinner, like a birthday, if you're in Roswell. When making our reservation, the host asked if it was a special occasion (it was) and let us know we'd have a free dessert for the birthday guest of honor. A nice touch! The live music on the patio Saturday night was great. The vocalist moved around the crowd (which could be awkward, but it totally wasn't because he was so smooth) and even serenaded someone, to everyone's entertainment. He was a one man act and we loved listening to him sing. Food: really good! All 6 in our party ordered different entrees and we all loved our food. I had the veggie plate ("Walk in the Garden"), which was a choice of 4 sides. The mushrooms were outstanding in particular, and it was such a large serving that I made 3 meals out of it! My husband's steak fries were also great! Why only 4 stars? Freaking valet parking. They try to force/trick you into it by coning off a public lot (pro tip: you have to drive around to enter the lot from Woodstock Rd side). Just let me park my own car at your delicious restaurant!

We'd never been in that neck of the woods and were pleasantly surprised at the many different restaurants around there! That being said, Noca was great! Our group of 6 ordered the muscles and the deviled eggs, which I don't eat, but they all were happy with the dishes. I ordered the "Sunday Supper" - very glad I did. Quite a lot of food - good food - for your money. I started with the salad which had a light dressing and wasn't overpowering or very heavy. For an entree, I had the braised tender pork. It was so flavorful and broke apart with my fork, just really yummy! The 2 drawbacks were that more than half of the meat portion was a hunk of fat (ick) - I wish there was more meat, I'd have inhaled it! Secondly, the broth it came in, while filled with celery and onions and carrots that were very good, there was so much broth I had to carefully take the food out of the bowl so nothing spilled over the sides. Just too much broth. But I'd definitely order this again. You are allowed three sides and I chose the Macaroni and Cheese, the Truffled Fries and the Sauteed Brussell Sprouts. I was a bit disappointed in the Sprouts. Meh. The fries were just seasoned fries, nothing great. As someone who orders anything with Truffles whenever possible, I didn't find a hint of Truffle there. But they were cooked well and good. The Mac and cheese was really delicious, and I loved the little cast iron pot it came in. Really great. I would definitely go back only next time I'll try some of the other sides....along with the Mac and cheese. Or maybe I'll just order 3 sides of it! I had a few glasses of wine which was very good, and our service was great. I love that our refills were poured out of the bottle table-side. We were enjoying ourselves so much that we didn't realize that we were the only people left, later on on a Sunday night of a holiday weekend, when I'm sure the staff wanted to home. But no one even hinted about it. That said a lot. I'm looking forward to another visit, for sure!

Worst dining experience ever! Our server Jessica couldn't answer any of our questions about the wine and she messed up two of our dishes without even a apology! She also had a sour look on her face the whole course of the dinner! She did not smile once! The chicken was way too salty and the veal had no taste at all! Save your money and go somewhere else!

We really enjoyed NOCA. Pork chop and chicken dish were very well prepared. Service was spot on and enjoyed the wine selection. Compliments to the chef.....

Went here for their $5 burgers on Monday and was pretty impressed with the quality of the burger. It was about an inch thick and very juicy! The French fries and salads were also very good. I want to try their Sunday supper next.

We've now been back more than ten times since my last review in Feb. Still great and the menu is solid. I think they've gotten over their fear of kids. :) At least mine. Still my daughters favorite place to eat. I love their nightly specials and happy hour events. Great bar area and outside seating as well. If you're looking for a great American menu, up a scale or two, nice environment etc. this is it. Great for both dinner night/date night or simply hanging in the bar or outside area with friends. Note - parking is scarce.

Service, atmosphere and food here is top notch! Went here with family on a Wed night and it got crowded around 7. I ordered the veal schnitzel topped with arugula, it was delicious. Other entrees ordered were the pistachio crusted flounder with au gratin potatoes and spinach, hamburger with fries and pecan crusted Georgia mountain trout with mashed potatoes. EVERYTHING WAS EXCELLENT!! I can't wait to go back and try some of their appetizers. Last but not least, the blueberry cobbler and white choc bread pudding are both very good choices in the dessert area.

My husband and I wanted to check out this recently-opened restaurant in downtown Roswell, so we went last Friday night. It was a beautiful evening, and we were seated on the patio. I loved the stone firepit outside, which was literally right behind me as we dined. They turned it on, and surprisingly, it wasn't too hot or uncomfortable on a warm evening - a very welcoming touch to the decor. People got drinks and sat around it as they waited for tables, so it makes a nice "waiting" area, which is kind of cool. We also loved the indoor/outdoor bar space. There's nothing else like that nearby, so it definitely stands out. We ordered calamari as an appetizer, which was great! (Hard to screw that up though, I suppose.) I had a Jade martini, which I loved, but I'm a girly martini kinda gal. My husband found a draft beer that pleased him, and everything was off to a great start! I had the braised pork for dinner and my husband had steak frites. Both were excellent. The pork dish said it came with asparagus, and when it arrived, it came with collard greens. This didn't bother me, as I like both, and the greens were delicious! The pork is a hearty portion, which the waiter was sure to tell me. Speaking of waiters, we had a very professional, nice gentleman who made some recommendations, shared his thoughts, but never pushed anything on us. He was attentive, and very mellow, which was nice. He made us feel at ease. Too bad I forgot his name! :-( I'm sure I'll see him again, and I'll remember next time! At any rate, the food was fantastic, and the presentation was lovely, but I was too stuffed to carry on with dessert...maybe next time. The bill was reasonable for what we got. I think this is going to be a great addition to the dining scene in Roswell, and I hope for another stellar experience in the near future!

The bar staff is outstanding. They know our drinks before we sit down. Extremely friendly and the food is excellent! "Q" the Manager treats you like guests in his own house. I particularly enjoy the Lobster night on Thursdays for $15. The food is some of the best you will get on Canton Street and parking is never an issue. I enjoy sitting at the bar to converse with the bar staff however they have a relaxing patio with a firepit, a perfect place to people watch.

Amazing food! By far one of my favorite restaurants in the "downtown Roswell" area. Great atmosphere and wine selection as well.

Very impressed. We had the Lobster special ( $20 for a 1.5 lb) and Scallops over a mushroom risotto. Sat at the outside bar with our dog. Great service, comfortable casual atmosphere, and friendly staff. Crab Bisque and Creme Brulee were also excellent. We will be going back soon to explore the other menu options.

The valet guy gave me the run around. I get parked, the wait staff on the patio direct us to the hostess, she informs us that they are fully booked and have 4 large parties. How about tell your valet guy to inform customers that if they aren't part of the party or have reservations, that they can't accommodate. Wankersl

My wife and are regulars in Roswell, but have concentrated our visits to the village area. We saw Noca (North on Canton) and really liked the curb appeal and decided to try it last night. Great choice, I luv when a place creates an atmosphere that you feel comfortable in whether your in jeans or a suite. That is what Noca has done. I work in Customer Service everyday so service to me is paramount in a restaurant. We were quickly greeted by the hostess, she intuitively asked us if we wanted a table or sit at the bar. (My wife and I are bar people, usually better service and more social) our bartender Laura was awesome great smile and very attentive. The Moscow Mule in the copper cup without a doubt had a kick....get it! The menu is diverse with enough to satisfy all likes. We had the meat and cheese tray which was excellent. To prove my wife and I have a whole "yen and yang thang" going on she ordered the Walk in the Garden and I had the Steak and Frites. Both were prepared perfectly and lived up to the billing. We will be back just to hang with some of the regular bar folks they were a hoot. Like I said were social folks! :)

Great food and atmosphere. I love the dining area. The bar isn't as charming as Table & Main; however, it is larger which is key when you're having to wait on a table. Best Mac and cheese north of the city! Can't wait to try for Sunday brunch :-)

I have eaten at NOCA many times now. At it's best, the food is amazing and can compete with the very best restaurants in Atlanta. However, the quality of any particular dish can vary dramatically from evening to evening. So much so that I suspect that they (A) may precook some dishes - like their duck confit and pistachio-crusted grouper - and, if those dishes don't sell early in the evening (or even at all on a particular evening), they (B) put the precooked dishes in the refrigerator and warm them up when the dish is ordered later in the evening or on the next day. Here's my reasoning on this. I ordered their duck confit one day and it was absolutely heavenly - the skin was brown and crisp and the meat was juicy and exploded with flavor. I liked it so much that I went back just a few days later and ordered it again. That time, the skin was soggy and the meat was dry and tough. It reminded me very much of day-old microwaved Peking Duck (of which I have consumed enough to be a certified expert). I guarantee that the second duck had not seen the sight of a conventional oven for at least 24 hours. Same thing happened with the Pistacio crusted grouper tonight. I have had this dish at NOCA twice before - both times the fish was thick and served piping hot along with some tasty spinach and a flavorful block of au gratin potatoes. Tonight the grouper was thin, tasted fishy, and came draped sadly over the au gratin potatoes as if the fish had died in battle hours earlier and the potatoes were carrying it home for a proper burial. In some ways, I wish that burial had happened before the fish found it's way to me. The meal left me wondering why I hadn't just ordered the chicken fingers off the kids menu, since they always come out hot and fresh and taste amazing. Overall I see a lot of talent and potential at NOCA. I can't help but wonder, though, if the chef doubts whether the simple people of Roswell are sophisticated enough to be able to tell a freshly cooked masterpiece from a reheat. I guarantee you that we are. Now pass those chicken fingers...

Canton Street in Roswell continues to grow in it's appeal with a plethora of restaurants offering a diversity of succulent offerings. NOCA brings much to the party. With an inviting patio and warm interiors, the space is just elegant enough. My friend and I loved the food as well as the attentive service. He raved about the salmon which I did not try. However, my veal schnitzel had a nice crunch on the outside, was perfectly tender on the inside and was well seasoned . We shared the mussels appetizer. They came with a delicious broth and ample bread. Did I mention full bar?

Had a wonderful evening here!! Came on a Saturday night for dinner and everything from the salad to the dessert was fantastic. We sat outside despite the cool air and warmed up quickly next to the fire pit. Our service was fantastic and the wine list was impressive! House salad had the most amazingly cooked egg on top and the field greens salad was packed with flavor! Salmon Oscar and Seared Scallops were both fantastic, too! Flourless chocolate cake was a huge hit too - all in all, a really wonderful meal! Definitely worth checking out this great local spot in downtown Roswell (same owners as Zest down the street).

I just ate at Noca for the third time. All three times were excellent. Their duck confit is outstanding; I've also had the short ribs which are amazing and super tender. Managed to leave room for the blueberry cobbler, which was also quite wonderful. Service is always good at this establishment; and it was a lovely evening to dine on the patio with the amazing music of Judy Brown and Marvin Taylor. I highly recommend this place. Only there 4 months but I know they'll be around for a long time.

Ron is the owner and also owns Zest. Of the 2 I prefer Zest. However my friends salad (the one with the bacon) was AMAZING. The risotto and Tuna tartar were just okay. There's huge potential. It's new, and they don't totally have the menu worked out. But if past performance is any indicator, THEY WILL. It's a great place with a great patio!

Love this place-- great ambience and the food was good, very good for the most part. There were some negatives that almost made me put a 3-star here. I was here with my colleague and the service was -- well, I have to say it, just very very slow. It may have been just us but time and again, my soda was watered down and just ice, I had to ask for a refill each time. Yet our server had no problem filling up our wine glasses and offering more wine. Hmmm. We got calamari for starters plus a cheese and meat plate-- the former was - I have to say it, rather lame, but the latter was delicous. Wine list is great. Outdoor patio seating with a bar and fire pit-- great. I had a burger which was great- but my colleague ordered scallops which she said were terribly spicy-- she had to return it. Also she had ordered some sides which didnt' come out-- and when we asked for bread, they didn't have it. they could only provide the bread that was like toasted/crispy bread that came with the meat/cheese plate. Odd. Further, I'm from Chicago where smokers can smoke if it is outside. My colleague said that you can't do that here- so she asked, since there was no one seated by us (outside) if she could smoke. The server said something like "you do NOT want to ask the owner that here...." And she asked him to ask anyway, and the manager or owner would not come out to our table. I find this BIZARRE. And please note- I have personally worked in restaurants for almost 8 years in high school and college, it's an industry that thrives on SERVICE and relationships. I found the chilly vibe from ownership/management to be a bit absurd. Would I go back? Maybe. But it was enough of a negative that I'd think twice about it.

Went here on a Friday night after having to wait too long at Little Alleys and boy we couldn't have been happier! Sat outside on the patio and it was lovely. (Except there are spotlights outside which i don't enjoy being under while i'm eating) I ordered the Salmon Oscar which was absolutely delicious, and large for that matter! I couldn't stop eating it! I will 100% be going back, most likely ordering the salmon again.

My husband and I decided to choose a great new restaurant for our anniversary. We checked out the menu ahead of time and were very excited. Sadly, it was not as wonderful as expected. Our waiter, a "Mr. Pepper" was very educated on the specials and described a variation of the exact one we wanted to try. We did not want the "special" but wanted to try the original version from the menu: the Duck Confit on Flatbread". We instead received the special with the short rib meat atop. It was like a less than average pizza. When we asked if he had made a mistake he simply shrugged his shoulders and mumbled an apology. Despite the fact that I specifically told him the ingredients were not to my husbands liking. But, we moved on and did not want it to ruin our meal. We then received our entree's. My husband ordered the ribeye, which was wonderful. Very succulent and seasoned perfectly. I ordered the scallop atop the mushroom risotto. The risotto was crunchy. Not the creaminess I expected. My husband also ordered a risotto on the side. His was also crunchy. Under-cooked rice. Not a proper risotto by any stretch of the imagination. Ultimately we received the bill, and I tried to clarify with the waiter that the appetizer, which we did not order, was the same price as the one I did order. Hoping this would remind him he made an error. Still no real apologies. All in all, not great food for the price. We won't go back.

Im a big believer in supporting local businesses, so I will go back and I'll give them another chance or two. New restaurants usually need to work out the kinks. I think this place has potential. It's a beautiful setting on a beautiful street. The decor is stunning. The drinks were pretty good (although I will ask for a martini "glass" next time (they serve martinis in stainless steel--good for maintaining the cold a tiny bit longer but the trade off isn't worth it compared to serving a drinking it's "proper" glass)). The calamari app was good, the kale and spinach salad was excellent. My "braised" pork was inedible. Dryer, than dry. Not a drop of sauce to save it. The manager and server did the perfunctory fly-by immediately as the entrees were served and never came back to the table again until the server came to clear the uneaten food. I offered to give feedback to the chef about my food. Nobody expressed a interest in venturing out from the kitchen. The server offered dessert and we agreed to share the creme brûlée (also good). Not only was I charged for my uneaten entree, but they also charged the $7 dessert. Pretty surprising all in all, since I know these owners, and most of all the other restaurant owners on Canton St. And I know they're also interested in repeat customer loyalty. I hope they can pull it together next time. The friends we were with on Thursday night already gave Noca 2tries, and they're not going back...I'm gonna try again, because I want the whole street to succeed, not just SoCanton and the inbetween.

Sleepy little Canton Street in Roswell is anything but sleepy any more. There are now so many wonderful restaurants to choose from. One of my favorites is NOCA, located on the north end of Canton. The excellent food is only surpassed by their friendly staff. Jessica, Malcolm, Dalton, Robin, all of them go above and beyond to make your visit a memorable one. Seared Scallops, Ribeye steaks, Lamb pops, what's not to love. Can't wait to go back.

I'm not sure why it's taken me a couple years to write a review on this place since I eat there all the time and love it. So here goes...First, the parking is super easy. The building inside and out is charming and beautifully decorated. The outside patio is hands down the best outdoor seating in Roswell. We live off of Canton St. and frequent the restaurants weekly. However, Noca is one of the ones we frequent the most. Why? The food, service, atmosphere, fire pit, staff, owner, etc. are some of the best on Canton St. A few of my favorites foods include the grouper, tuna tartare, mussels and truffle frites to name a few. When I want a more casual evening, we love to sit at the bar and grab a glass of wine and appetizers. The staff is fantastic and you will often find the owner talking with the patrons. I look forward to many more years eating at this establishment. On a scale from 1-10, I would rate this place a 10.

My wife and I went to meet some friends for their anniversary and a birthday get together. We were all pleasantly surprised with the dinner we had and the great service. My husband and I went there during the week for a date night escape. We had great service, Michelle again, as another reviewer mentioned her. We decided to share small plates for dinner to sample several different options. They had the most amazing flat bread special of the day with braised spare ribs, corn, arugula and Gruyere. Holy cow, we could have eaten two of those! The spicy tempura shrimp appetizer was really well done. Their chicken skewers had great flavor and were very filling. We had a really yummy salad, I can't recall what it was called but it had this really unusual breaded egg on it that was very good. The part that is not to be missed is the white chocolate strawberry bread pudding. This might be the hands down best bread pudding we've had. The other nice thing about this place is it's a little bit north of all of the other downtown Roswell restaurants and there is parking available! They have a valet lot and there are places to park on the street. The same can't be said for a lot of the Canton Street restaurants.

I've been to NOCA twice - once for a fabulous birthday celebration with girlfriends and the other as a very disappointing family dinner. After the g'friend dinner I was very excited to come back with the fam for $5 burgers on Mondays! The menu says the burger comes with fries or a salad - so my husband and son ordered burger and fries. When we got the bill we were charged for 2$5 burgers and 2 $6 appetizer orders of fries. I pointed this out to the server (who was super nice) and immediately someone whom assume was the manager came over and asked me what the problem was. He said - "so you wanted to order the $13burger"( reg menu price). I said - "no, we ordered the special ". He responded - " the special doesn't come with a side - I'll take the fries off this time - but not again." Horrible tone - and very rude ( we had ordered several drinks and other menu items - not just 2 $5 burgers). I was hoping this would be a regular place for us - but absolutely not.

My wife and I celebrated out second wedding anniversary at NOCA and I am pleased to say that we had a very good experience. We arrived just after they had opened for dinner service so the place was not crowded at all. We started off with the Calamari as an appetizer which was good. It comes with tiny onion rings mixed in. My wife ordered the PAN ATLANTIC SALMON OSCAR and I ordered the GRILLED 14 OZ RIBEYE. Before I forget we also ordered two cocktails from the menu called Light and Story which contains 10 Cane Rum, ginger beer, twist of lime, candied ginger. They were delicious. Our entree's came out in a short amount of time and both tasted amazing. My steak was tender and not over cooked my wife's salmon was also very good. Even though I was stuffed my wife went ahead and ordered us a dessert and I am glad she did. It was a chocolate truffle cake/brownie that was just OMG. Surrounded by whip cream and strawberries we both finished that off in short time. The service was good which you would expect since the restaurant was not crowded. Overall I would say this is a nice place to go and get a good meal in a relaxed dining environment.

My husband and I went last night for dinner and it was great. The food was very good and I only had a few recommendations to make it even better. My husband had the scallops w/ risotto and they were perfectly cooked. The risotto was tender to the bite and creamy. I had the Veal Schnitzel which was also good. My only suggestion was to have a little less or a finer breading, but it was still very tasty. For appetizers we had the deviled eggs....wasabi mixed in...very yummy! Crab Croquettes were good as well. Drinks were well done. I was not crazy about the metallic martini glasses (seemed kind of cheap compared to regular glass). Dessert was blueberry crumble with some kind of sorbet that had Proseco in it....very good. The service was phenomenal. Be sure to ask for Michelle. I have not had that kind of service in any Roswell restaurant yet. She was attentive but not hovering, gave good recommendations about the menu, and was a pleasure to talk to. She is a credit to the restaurant and I hope they do whatever they need to do to keep her. Atmosphere is very relaxing. The outdoor bar and fire pit are really cool, even for a night in June. Need to find a slightly dimmer light on the corner above the entrance door as it was blinding when they flipped it on. Please do not allow smoking near the patio. It is really gross and if someone wants to go smoke they should do it behind the restaurant. I was also not impressed to see the owner imbibing with his patrons. it was late, but that just does not strike me as professional. If anything he should be going table to table to see how our experience was, especially since the restaurant was new. He appeared to be more interested in hanging with girls young enough to be his daughter and some drunk lady who was having her birthday and decided to do shots while loudly proclaiming that she was going to throw up later.....very charming. Act your age for heaven's sake! All of the above taken into consideration, NOCA should be a success and I will certainly return and will most definitely ask for Michelle again. Apparently the owner of NOCA also owns Zest, so that is encouraging...

Good dinner...I had scallops and my companion had the special which was filet medallions over macaroni/cheese. Very unusual but good dish, We had bruschetta and calamari as appetizers which are large enough for two people. The only item found lacking was the calamari which was rubbery and chewy. All things considered we will return .

My husband and I went here for a date night. We were between here and little ally steak house but they were full. I was a bit weary since there was no wait but the food was wonderful. I got the short rib after reading the reviews and was so happy with that decision. I also felt like the price was great for what we got. We will definitely go here again.

This is a place I was prepared to like, no I wanted to love it. And it was close. The menu was interesting and the prices were good for what was being offered. The bar was a little pricey but given the cool patio, fire pit and inside outside bar I was not put off. In point of fact, if not for the service I would have given NOCA 4 stars and not two. Our server did not seem to be able to remember simple request. We were a table of 6 seated at 8:15 and the dinner crowd was thinning out. When I ordered my cocktail I also asked for water. I got the cocktail first and it took 10 minutes. I asked again for water and it took another 5. When she brought the water I indicated that I was thirsty and would need a refill soon. I spent most of the night with an empty water glass. This was indicative of how service was going to go for the evening. Our appitizers (we ordered 5) showed up but we were given no small plates. I guess we were expected to use our bread plates. Seemed a little beneath the price point and white table cloth atmosphere. Then the entrees began to arrive. One order was a salad with a side of risotto. Salad arrived without dressing and the risotto was cold. Took 5 minutes to get the dressing and we had to ask the server 3 times to bring hot risotto which never happened. My meal of Salmon Oscar arrived luke warm and with the sauce beginning to congeal. Now let me state that I could see the kitchen window and I could see our server much of the time. I watched her dig in her purse for something for several minutes. Then I saw her get into a clearly humorous conversation with another server and generally not pay a great deal of attention to our table or any of the other tables she was waiting on. Making sure we left having had a good experience and felt that it was money well spent was not her top priority. Let me be clear, I think my food would have been great if it had been hot and served when it was plated. I would have been in a better mood if I could have gotten a glass of water or a second cocktail. This is a place I will return to but now it has to hit a high bar to earn my business. Management needs to spend some time training and supervising the staff. Location -GREAT, Bar Atmosphere - Great. Menu - Great. Food - Average (due to showing up cold). Service - AWEFUL.

The patio was a nice area for outside dining, had a big stone firepit. I found the drinks a little pricey but what else do you expect in downtown Roswell. The food was good, a little underwhelming. I had the salmon which was slightly overdone, my husband had the scallops. Our friends had the beef short ribs which were good, and a side of brussel sprouts which were excellent.

NOCA, brand new to the Canton St Roswell scene, opened recently in the old Indigo space. They've transformed to site to a beautiful rustic little spot with a flagstone patio and firepit. Visually very appealing. The food is quite tasty with the scallops entree being the hands down favorite. There are lots of fun cocktails on the menu and good wines as well. I found the prices very high for what was served but more disturbing was the cocky, unprofessionalism of the waiter. when he needed to remove a plate, rather than say, "Excuse me," he would give my arm a couple of sharp taps so I would move it aside. He used that same maneuver on two other people in our party. It was unnerving and we probably should have said something at that moment but it was such a surprise we were a bit shocked. I regret not speaking up at least the second time. If I return, I'll make a point to request another server.

Once again, another great restaurant pops up in Roswell. Let me start the review by saying the service was top notch. The servers were very knowledgeable about the appetizers, entrees, and even wine. I wasn't sure which wine I wanted, so I just described the type of wines I usually drink. The server recommended a wine, and it was PERFECT. I can't remember what it was called, but it was a white wine from Germany. If you like Moscato, get the sweet white wine from Germany! As for the ambiance, we sat outside on the patio. The setting is very romantic; there is a fire pit in the middle and it probably increases the 'romance scale' when it's on. But sadly, we were there when the sun was still up. Also, I went with family, so we really didn't need the romance factor (haha). We ordered a few appetizers: Crab Croquette, Tempura Lobster Tail, Asian Style Pork Flat Bread (today's special), soup of the day. Always ask for today's special, because the flat bread was phenomenal. The pork was cooked perfectly with succulent sauce/seasoning and all of the toppings in addition to the pork was really tasty. Usually, I can pick out a favorite when there are several appetizers on the table, but honestly, I can't. They're all my favorite. The lobster tail was awesome, the crabs were so soft and the meat just melts in your mouth, and the soup was thick and just full of flavor. And for the entrees! I'm going to breakdown each of the entrees for you, so you know exactly what you're going to order for your visit! Duck Confit: Duck has to be one of my favorite meats. And the duck is cooked to perfection- the meat just falls off the bone. It comes on top of a bed of creamy risotto and delicious sauce, next to roasted brussels sprouts. I've never been a fan of brussels sprouts, but after I ate these, I bought a bag of brussels sprouts at the grocery store (haha, I'm crazy). Scallops: These scallops had to be the biggest scallops I've ever seen in my life. There are four huge scallops on top of mushroom risotto. This plate was absolutely delicious, although i was completely full, I couldn't stop eating the risotto. Pork Shoulder: If you're super hungry, order this. Gigantic pork shoulder meat comes on top of bread pudding and asparagus. The pork shoulder was very tasty and the bread pudding was soft and full of flavor. From service all the way to food and wine, everything was great. I had an awesome dinner time. Make this place your next anniversary dinner or date night! You won't be disappointed.

Came to downtown Roswell for something different on the strip, and decided to try NOCA. We sat outside at the bar. The outside patio was nice, and even had a firepit. The bartender, Tommy, was really friendly, and made us some good cocktails. We started with the strawberry bruschetta and wasabi deviled eggs. The bruschetta was very good, and I loved the balsamic glaze it had on top with fresh basil. Next were the deviled eggs. They were creamy, but I literally tasted zero wasabi. The eggs were completely bland. We decided on a bunch of sides for dinner. I ordered the brussel sprout salad, and was completely disappointed. The brussel sprouts were bland, and shaved so fine it was like eating coleslaw. I tried my boyfriend's beet salad, which tasted better but didn't stand out in terms of flavor. We tried mashed potatoes, sautéed spinach, and potatoes au gratin. All of the dishes were just okay. I think they just all were pretty bland, and didn't wow me. Disappointing, because the service was good and the atmosphere was nice. I don't really think I'd come back, because the food didn't agree with my tastebuds.
