I have attempted to get a good bbq meal three times in a row before i decided to add this review. For a restaurant that claims they have the best ribs in town, at this point i think they should say the have the chewiest ribs in town... The ribs have been absolutely terrible, i have to assume the pit master who made this place well known for ribs either retired or moved on and the new people in charge of cookin ribs have no idea what they are doing.

Barbecue heaven! I've never had a bad meal here. Service is alway great, free wi-fi works sporadically. The only bad thing about Dreamland is that is is painfully cold inside. I mean, need-your-blankie type of cold. I realize it is hot with the ovens going and such but I wish they would work out some type of system that didn't make their customers suffer. We will, however, keep coming. I'll just keep bringing in a coat and blanket (in July).

I ordered the half slab and my dad tried to order the grilled chicken with a side of green beans and a side of a basket of fries. They said they couldn't do that so we ordered two sides of fries and they said that that was ok but then they brought us a side and a basket and charged us for it too I guess our waiter wasn't that bright. But besides that the food was pretty tasty but nothing that knocked me out of my seat or anything.

When I want good spare ribs, I come to Dreamland. Almost every time I have walked in and ordered a rib sandwich to-go, the ribs have been meaty and consistently good. The service is fast also e.g. I am usually in and out within 5-7 minutes. I always request the sauce on the side since I like to drizzle some of the sauce over the ribs, but otherwise sauce is not required, IMO. The ribs are not dried out and they are seasoned well. As many times as I have been here, this review is overdue. And it is time for me to try something else also; the chicken in particular.

Eh mediocre BBQ at best. It's probably a decent bar but the food leaves a lot to be desired. The BBQ has a good smoke to it but that's about it. Everything seems to be out of a can or frozen... If your looking for good BBQ and southern sides keep driving.

Came in for lunch on a weekend, not very busy. Ribs were ok, not fall off the bone or very tender. They did have good flavor and the size was decent. 4 long ribs plate. Wife had the half chicken and the flavor was really nice, juicy and tender. We would visit again. Nice atmosphere.

The atmosphere and service was great!! The options and combos were perfect. But the meat was not tasty. In my group, all had chicken, pulled pork, ribs, slaw and Mac & Cheese.. All appealing to the eye but not my palette. It seemed - bland and not bland, to salty. The sauce, regular and the secret sweet one, were both watery and uneventful. I was excited to hear about the peach cobbler or pecan pie for dessert. Both in told are homemade in the back. I opted for the cobbler. I hope the pecan pie is better. I doubt I'll ever find out

Time & Date of visit: Saturday 4:09pm 8/30/14 Party Size: 2 Location/Ambiance: The parking lot has patches of potholes in the rear entrance from Houze Rd leading to the front of the restaurant. Though it is easier to get into then from Alpharetta Hwy. The aroma of smoked bbq fills most of the dining area as the shared, open area can be seen one of the cooks tending the meats. Half sports vibe at the bar with various round tables and booths aligned the opposite wall. The restaurant was around 25% filled for a very late lunch/early dinner. Service: We were greeted by the entrance and immediatedly seated with a choice of either a table or booth. We chose the latter, with comfy seats for good eating. Our server was attentive and gracious with our sweet tea's and even with my half unsweet and half sweet tea. Most servers just forget and dump a glass full of sweet tea anyway. Wait time for our orders was average of about 10-12 minutes after being placed. Though our server did mix up the split, and I ended up with my friends order of dessert on my half. $2 isn't worth the trouble of having to wait for it be to be rung up. Food/Beverages: * Sweet Tea $2.29 - I requested mine to be mixed half & half. One sip before stirring just to taste their level of sweetness, I would rank it as moderate. * Combo plate w/ sausage & chopped pork. Potato salad and mac & cheese as sides. $13.45 I'll breakdown each item; the chopped pork was a bit dry to my expectations. The difference between pulled pork and chopped pork was clearly evident here. More like minced and crumbles with a slight overly saltiness. I kind of drowned it in the house bbq sauce to finish what I could. Hickory Smoked Sausage - The accompanying sausage had a bit more of flavor. Juicy, with a slight hint of pepper. Mostly cut from one piece, the sausage slices was almost cut through but not fully detached. Visually this gave the distinction of the amount you get which was fair. Potato salad - it was solid good. Balanced taste of mayo, with out being too creamy. Texture was good for the potatoes, nothing was mushy. I like their version. Mac & Cheese - Meh, I had better kind of taste on each bite. The pasta was cooked al dente, but the cheese sauce had nothing going for it. I'd pass on their version. * House bbq - Memphis style I believe. Not too sweet, decently good. No wow factor, just a "basic" kind of taste. * Banana Pudding - side size $2 - My friend actually ordered this even though we were both stuffed. Our server still was able to up sale him by just giving a side portion. He mentioned that most places just have ok, this place had a better one. Mixed with vanilla, gives their version a hint of sweetness to accompany the banana and crust crumbles. Worth a try. Total Bill w/ Tip & Tax: $18.49 Summary: Service was an a-ok 3 stars. My 2 stars are more for the food, which was more of a meh-almost kind of good, 2.5. I'll give this place one more try for their ribs, but other then that I will still be on the hunt for a good BBQ around the Roswell/Alpharetta area.

I have continued to frequent this location as it is very close to my home. Over the past 18 months since my initial review I have seen an improvement in both service and food consistency.

Simply. Delicious. Minus one star because there is no brisket on the menu. The Brunswick stew is chunky & hearty. Pulled pork is PERFECT! (Very flavorful - Not drenched in sauce). Get the banana pudding. You. Are. Welcome.

I really enjoy eating at Dreamland, as I am a fan of Alabama style barbecue. I am only giving 4 stars due to the fact your overall experience will be completely dependent on your server. The first time I visited the hostess wasn't the best - she didnt even greet us - and seemed much more interested in her phone. However, we were sat in what seemed to be the best section of the restaurant, on the right side, next to the window and in view of the fireplace area. Our server was extremely warm and welcoming, asking if it was our first time (for me it was) and sharing details about herself. She even took the time to explain certain items I had questions about, such as "What is a Big Daddy Squeeze?" Of course I had to have one after learning it is tea (sweet or unsweet) with lemonade! Even when I ordered the chicken barbecue plate she made sure I had extra bread in order to make a sandwich and brought extra sauce without asking because she noticed we didn't have enough. She was so nice that we decided to have dessert, which we almost never do when going to a restaurant! (I HIGHLY recommend the pecan pie, not just due to the fact it's always been my favorite, but because their pie is delicious!) She even gave us to go drinks, which I enjoyed so much I decided to purchase a shirt. Then my most recent visit... The host was much better this time, he paid attention to us and sat us immediately. Although, this time we were on the left side of the restaurant. Our server finished seating us and before we could even get our butts in the seat she asked for our drink order. I wanted a beer, but since I didn't see an alcohol menu anywhere I ordered the squeeze I had last time. She assumed sweet tea, which didn't bother me, though I did have to ask to please have unsweet instead. She seemed a little more attentive towards the person I was dining with on that visit - even down to knowing his drink order and refilling at least 3 times while I waited and when she did refill mine she only gave me unsweet tea (which was extremely weak, almost like flavored water). I had been asking my companion if he wanted to try some of their dessert, so when our server looked shocked that we didn't want any I figured she might have been eavesdropping. She brought our check to the table without asking and before I was even done eating - which I found to be incredibly rude. (I was the one paying this time, as well.) My original intent when visiting the restaurant was to purchase another shirt after the meal, however I quickly abandoned that prospect. My feeling of just being another number during this visit diminished a little when the now female hostess wished us a great day. A sincere thank you goes out to that hostess for not letting us leave on a sour note. I will be back, however I will now request the right side of the restaurant only.

No briskit. No beef ribs. No stars. Tea was sickly sweet. Chicken was rubbery. Hamburger was bland. Fries and sauce, were the only things I could stomach. Something we ate there had us on the toilet as soon as we got home. Never never again. More like nightmare land.

Great pork and chicken salad. Nice tavern-style motif of wood floors, beams, tables and barbecue cooker right next to the dining area. Friendly staff and fast service.

I walked in at 7:30pm. The place was mostly empty. The skeleton crew must have been busy, because it took a while for someone to seat me. This was nothing major, I just thought that things would have moved a little more quickly. Another minor delay when ordering. I must have caught staff during their off-floor duties or something. But once I placed an order, my food came out quickly. I had the rib platter. The sauce was tangy with a tiny little bit of heat in it. I have had better ribs, but these were okay. Even the slaw and the baked beans were good. Service was really really friendly. The lady behind the counter was just as affable as ever. Staff jokes with each other, in spite of only a few people holding down the entire establishment. It seems clear this place is used to seeing large crowds of people. It's got all the markings of neighborhood favorite barbecue joint.

I was very disappointed in the portion size of my half slab of ribs. I've been to a Dreamland in Birmingham, and that was an experience that I won't forget...in a very good way! This location gave me what I would describe as "riblets". When I described the wonderful experience, and the size of the ribs in Birmingham, I was told I needed to order "the big end"??? Thank goodness for the fries and the bread!

    (1)
  • Edward W.

With so many great barbeque choices in the ATL area why compromise for average 'que? That's exactly what you'll do at Dreamland. The place just seems a little dark and dirty. The service is hit or miss. Recently the manager seats us and gets us set up, then an indifferent young server takes over. She's ok, but messes up the order forgetting fries, and bringing plates out haphazardly one or two at a time. The food is good. You can get the ribs with or without sauce, or with sauce on the side. The sauce is a little sweet and a little tangy. Cole slaw is solid. Dreamland is not bad, but it shouldn't be your first choice for BBQ in the area.

    (3)
  • Kojack ..

Not sure what all the fuss is. The service is poor and the food is below average. I've experienced better. Our waitress kept forgetting items and our chicken wings appy was all bone and very little meat

  • Jennifer F.

The chopped pork and sauce is flavorful. The mac-n-cheez tasted like it came out of a box. The green beans tasted like they came out of a can. The Brunswick stew was better than average, but not enough to make me want to come back again. They could be a good BBQ place, but they are phoning it in. I spent $17 on lunch, with tax and tip. Oh, and get the sweet tea split 1/2 with unsweet tea.

  • Kimberly P.

I like the history of this place! Got the 2 meat sampler platter w two sides. The sausage was great and the green beans were smoky delicious, no love in the mac n'cheese though, and regretfully have to say the ribs were skimpy in size and a little dry. Also, the family recipe bbq sauce was a little more Cakalaky style than I expected, vinegar loose with a hint of adobo in it. Not bad, but so many others in Atlanta to try I might not make it back...

This place is okay? Maybe not okay, maybe a step below okay. We tried this place last week and I'm a bit disappointed. We waited a minute before we were seated. Then we waited some more before someone acknowledged us and took our drink orders. Then we waited awhile before our complimentary bread arrived. The complimentary bread by the way, is white bread. White loaf bread. Think Wonder bread. But this tasted so crappy it was probably some super cheap generic white bread. It was served with a sauce that was all liquid with a bit of hotness to it. Meh. I ordered the chopped plate with coleslaw and baked beans. The husband ordered the combo platter with sausage, ribs and mac'n'cheese. The place smelled really good and from our table we could see the smoking pit, so naturally we were pretty excited for this. Unfortunately, my meal fell flat. The pork was minced and mostly fat. There were a few edible pieces in there. I nibbled at it and gave up. The coleslaw was extremely bland. The server said they two types of coleslaw, and I opted for the creamy type because she said it was sweet. Well, it wasn't sweet at all. It was bland. Tasteless. It was cabbage mix covered in mayo. I took one bite and gave us. There was no saving that side dish. The beans were the saving grace. Cooked perfectly and drenched in thick sweet sauce. I ate all the beans and sopped up the leftover sauce with the cheap-o white bread. I had a bite of my husband's ribs and sausage, both were much better than my minced pork. His mac'n'cheese was okay. When our server checked in on us I was hoping she would see that I put my coleslaw at the edge of the table in hopes that she would ask about it. Well, she did. When I told her I didn't like it, she quipped, "Sorry to hear that." And walked away. I wasn't expecting her to replace the food or anything, but to offer it would have been nice. Or maybe take it off the bill since I only took one bite? Nada. Nothing. Sorry Dreamland, you'll find me at Swallow and the Hollow from now on.

While I am not much of a pork fan, you will never find a better 1/2 chicken anywhere. Super moist and cooked just right. Takeout is accomplished in about 7 minutes start to finish. Beans and vinegar slaw are great sides.

Banana pudding. Just get it. Meat was super tasty. Service was great. Sides are delicious. Lots of food for an affordable price.

Delish! Chopped pork was awesome and the very slightly spicy green beans were the BEST Ive ever had! Make sure to use the special seasoning blend on the table BEFORE your last 2 bites as we did when we didnt see it!

I happened upon this place by mistake. I ordered the Brunswick Stew and have to say it is some of the best in Atlanta. The pulled pork is average but when in the mood for stew I stop back. Just one bowl is enough to fill you up. Great staff and friendly bar too.

  • Frank B.

Pretty good BBQ. They catered a business lunch for me and did an outstanding job. I always stop here at least once when visiting the Atlanta area. I suggest you do so as well.

My boyfriend, knowing how much I love ribs, took me here for lunch yesterday and it was great. The portions were pretty big. The ribs were excellent -- meaty and not too fatty. The BBQ sauce was just the right mix of sweet and tangy -- as good on my fries as it was on the ribs. Our server was friendly and attentive...my sweet tea never ran out. It was definitely worth the drive.

Meh... Had the chopped pork plate- you get a very decent ammount of of not-bad work, but the 'sides' is where it gets slippery.... Texas Toast, find but why not toast it? Brunswick Stew- good, but I see that old baked potato tossed in as filler... Cheese Fries- UGH. canned cheese sauce dumped on top. nasty. On top of the worlds SALTIEST fries.... I am panting now from all the salt (or 'salt mix'). The waitress was 'classic bbq'- and I mean that in the absoluetly nicest way.. kept waiting for her to say 'hun'... good/great service (I felt bad as they has seeted me way in the back...so she kept having to walk to me. For the money- I just didn't get it....too over priced (13$ at lunch??) would have gone to to a steak place for that...portions were average...might go back when I win the lottery...sigh

Dreamland has come to symbolize what I consider as "chain barbeque". Similar to how Sonny's evolved over time, this chain features traditional barbeque fare done ok. Dreamland is a very wet barbeque with a tangy red sauce, so if you dont want it swimming... make sure to ask for the sauce on the side. Dreamland is historic and, for many, a nostalgic trip back to its roots in Alabama. Each order comes with that good ol Sunbeam white bread for dipping. I dont have any complaints about the food and the service here is always very good. Restaurant does very well for what it is, but if you want more award winning barbeque there are better places. I personally love their ribs, pulled pork, greens, though not as much of fan of their style of brunswick stew. Ask for the heated barbecue sauce brought to the table cuz its so much better that way! Have dined in many a time and gotten takeout orders as well. The banana pudding is also very good! Long bar, plenty of tvs for watching sports, and a lil bit of that wonderful smoky flavor wafting around the restaurant. Huge facility too, never seems to end going back in the dining room. Located in between Holcomb Bridge and Mansell on Hwy 9 in Roswell.

6/22 went for lunch, just two of us sat at the bar we wern't a bunch. Ordered pulled pork and ribs with green beans on the side, The ribs had char and the pork was good, you can tell they were made with pride. The service was prompt, friendly and refills with a smile All in all it was a good choice, i'll be back in a while.

I just had lunch here with my wife. We ordered half slab ribs,2 chopped pork sandwiches, baked beans and mac n chz. The ribs were well smoked with a lite dry rub...very tasty with house sauce on the side. The were not over cooked where the meat is mushy they had a nice pull tender bite. The chopped pork was good also...juicy not dried out. The beans were basic beans and same for the mac n chz. But I didn't come here for the sides, I came for bbq and I got some good eats. The wait staff was fast and friendly, overall good service. My wife ordered banana pudding to go and I can't wait to try some. My first time here and I give it 4 stars!

Great lunch with the little woman. Perfect service from Brittany B. Fast food to the table. Chicken breast salad hit the spot!

  • Josh K.

Had the sausage and chopped pork plate with fries and stew. Service was friendly and fast. Sweet tea was great. The fries were good, stew even better. The meat portions were ridicules. So much food for lunch, the pork was very good, had a ton of flavor and didn't need sauce. Is was very enjoyable. The sausage on the other hand was a little different. Best I've ever had. The server told me it's made from rib meat left over from the place they get their meat, it was amazing. Not sure why I enjoyed it so much, cooked perfectly, great flavor I guess. Highly recommend the sausage. Great lunch, I couldn't finish all of it and I can eat a good amount. I will return again no question!

Im not going to waste time writing a book. I understand that people have different taste and this did not appeal to my husbands and mines. My husband makes bbq far better than this place. Convincing me more and more to open a bbq joint. There are far better places than this to get bbq, Daddy D's being one.

  • Christina J.

The chopped pork sandwich was pretty decent. TONS of chopped pork, which I appreciated. I ordered my sauce on the side and the sauce was ok, it was pretty thin and didn't have too much flavor which I actually liked because it didn't mask the star of the show, the pork. Green beans- meh. Taste like they came out of a can and some meat was added to it. Half my bowl was juice. Potato salad- meh. Potatoes seemed slightly underdone to me, but typical American style potato salad otherwise. Good prices for lunch (around $7.50 for a chopped pork sandwich and one side). They also charge for water (granted it was $0.15) which I thought was strange....

    (3)
  • Royal M.

They started with pepsi, I ordered water due to that, and didn't ever recover The chicken was dry, the ribs were dry and small, and by then nothing else mattered. The slaw I had was average (mayo based) and the brunswick stew was quite good, in its small cup. It was about 75% of what I'd expect from a small cup. Service was fine, but nothing spectacular. There are other options. I can't see myself going back.

    (2)
  • Rita M.

OK, who ever heard of a barbecue joint that doesn't serve brisket? No chopped beef, just chicken and pork. I am still incredulous, having moved here from Texas. I wonder if this is the norm in Georgia? Or is a religious belief by the owners? Or is it a cost thing? Food was ok. I will look for another place for barbecue.

Always great food and excellent service. Been coming here since it opened and it's consistency is a hallmark. I recommend the ribs but chicken breast salad with the house dressing is awesome. You can never go wrong with Dreamland.

It was like a Dream! Those damn slab of ribs were orgasm worthy! The wings were great too! Cole Slaw was on point! But, back to the Ribs! Holy Fuck were they good! Got me cussing when I'm trying to stop! Gotta get back to them soon!

  • Eddie G.

This was my first time trying this joint. Overall, It was pretty good BBQ. We got our order to go so this review is for the food only. We tried the chopped pork, sausage, chicken, potato salad, cheese fries, mac-n-cheese, and coleslaw, all were A-OK. The BBQ sauce is a bit on the vinegary side but pretty good overall. Next time I'm gonna go for the ribs.

My favorite BBQ restaurant in GA - no doubt. I live in metro GA and periodically drive 30 min. north (past at least 200 million other BBQ places) to eat at Dreamland. This location is better than the other Atlanta-area location; although, I can't put my finger on exactly why that is. You absolutely get more food for your money at this restaurant than in any other BBQ place I have ever been to in the world. Tons of food, and all delicious!

  • Christina K.

Had a massive craving for BBQ and since Spiced Right closed down I've been on the hunt. I'm pretty limited in nice restaurants that can serve me good food within my lunch hour so I did a take out order here. The service was quick and friendly and everything was ready to go as soon as I approached the bar. The portions are really great and the smokey smell wafting from my styrofoam box was pure bliss. I ordered the ribs, cole slaw and baked beans. The beans were the best part. The ribs were extremely salty! With each bite I could feel my blood pressure going up. I actually just stopped eating after my 2nd rib - it was just that salty. On the other hand, the cole slaw was bland bland bland. Oddly enough, I found that taking a bit of the ribs and a bite of the cole slaw right afterwards evened out the tastes and both became edible. I'll order from here again, just going to stay away from the ribs though.

Let me start by saying I have lived in Tuscaloosa and eaten at the original many times. This is not the original. A rack of ribs and a loaf of white bread to sop it up, doesn't get any better. However, I was pleasantly surprised yesterday when I took the family. My wife suggested, I initially declined, but remembered they weren't just ribs, so we went. THe half chicken was great, moist and smoky! A bit salty, but spot on in the cooking. I LOVE Dreamlands sauce, it is perfect to me, so I really enjoyed that. The mac and cheese was serviceable, nothing great, but good. My two-year old daughter ate most of mine, she loves that stuff. Good fries, and of course the signature white bread for soppin'. Really good southern sweet tea as well. Took some banana pudding home for desert, really nice. All in all, I am glad we revisited this and plan on coming back again soon!

  • Kane B.

Dreamland was merely ok. The decor was good, service was always friendly, the wait wasn't bad... but I've just had better barbeque elsewhere. Sure, it's nice to get to sit and watch the meat roasting if you can see the oven, the portions are plenty big, and it IS authentic, but I work in walking distance of Dreamland and I almost never go. There's better barbeque to be had only a short drive away. Dreamland is probably better for large parties though - if I had a group of 8, this is probably the place to go.

    (3)
  • Pat R.

I was expecting better. This place reminds me of the Williamson Bros. BBQ spot in Canton... Plenty of seating, mediocre barbecue. I had the 1/2 ribs, 1/2 sausage with slaw and mac & cheese. Ribs were a bit dry and VERY salty. Sauce was more vinegar than tomato. My wife had the pork sandwich, and while she liked the smoky flavor, she said it was too salty. I'll still make the drive to Fat Matt's for great ribs. I don't get the appeal of this place unless you're an Alabama alumni.

  • M C.

Stopped in on a Sunday evening on our way back ITP from a mountain trip. Service was speedy, but sad to say the ribs were dry dry dry. Spare ribs should be a little messier to eat than these. Chopped pork sandwich was good, as were the sides of slaw and the Brunswick stew. Beans had that straight from the can taste. And really, charging 15 cents for a cup of tap water? Really? Not worth a return trip IMHO. Next time we're up Roswell/Alpharetta way we'll check out Spiced Right down the road near the square in Roswell--better BBQ experience for the price. I hit it for lunch a few times a year and always have a good meal.

  • Lena C.

This was my first trip to Dreamland in Roswell and I think it was pretty good, overall. But I was expecting more form all the hype. All the old standbys were there: Brunswick stew - thick & delicious - yay! Half rib, half pork plate - check Baked beans - check Sliced white bread - check Real sweet tea - check Slaw - 2 choices - mayo or vinegar based - thanks for the options! The slaw did get me pretty excited, but if that & the stew were the things I am writing about at a BBQ place, then I probably won't be jumping at a chance to get back, when in the area. P.S. I discovered that day that, (when quizzed by by Brent B. around the table) I do prefer baby back ribs. Bonus: I saw a Dave Schools sticker on the wall on the way out.

Ate here once and that was one time too many. The chicken was dry, and way too peppery. And the mwal just went down hill from there. Left the restaurant feeling sick and I didnt even eat half of the food on my plate. Smells good outside but that is where the good ends with this restaurant.

  • Bryan B.

I hadn't been to Dreamland in a few years, so stopped by today for lunch. It was what I remembered: 'fast' BBQ that's pretty tasty. Some people complain because its 'chain' bar-b-q, but I say if you go into it expecting a tasty, fast BBQ meal, then you won't be disappointed. If you're that picky, then just toss a Boston Butt on the smoker and wait the 12 hours it'll take to make it spectacular. If you don't want to do it yourself, then this is good enough for lunch! And the service was outstanding.

    (4)

    Decent. Not spectacular

Not really sure what folks rating this place 2 stars think of when they think of cue but, Dreamland is one of my every trip stops when I leave NC to come visit family in the ATL. The meat is smoked perfectly, the pork has the perfect blend of inside moist meat and that dry, oh so smokey and crunchy bark. Look, I smoke my own at home and do so for a reason.... I can't find BBQ where I live that makes the grade. If I had Dreamland down the street, I would be smoking a lot less butt in the backyard...

Good BBQ maybe I didn't think it was perfect because it is hyped up a bit. I got the BBQ sandiwch and some fries - so I didn't have the full fare. But gotta say, still a million times better than the fake chains you find out on the west coast. At the end of the day, BBQ in the south just feels like it hits the spot! Wish I would have had the 'nana pudding! I didn't think about ordering it when i was there, but next time ... it's a must! Next time, I'll check out a more 'authentic' place.

For a place that's supposed to be known for their ribs they aren't that great. The sauce is more of a vinegar based sauce [which I'm not a fan of] and even with the sauce the meat has a very dry taste [also I'm not a fan of]. The country style look of the place and the "No Farting" sign is a place that I wouldn't take a date but eating with co-workers for lunch it fits the bill. Now I came in with a party of 5 and at the end most of us had upset stomachs when we got back to work, in fact my partner accelerated back to work faster than a recalled Toyota Camry through grandma's garage door :)

Okay if you're looking for barbecue in Atlanta this is the place for pulled pork barbecue sandwiches. The fries are awesome and remember to enjoy ythese barbecue delights with some sweet tea.

Not the typical fall off the bone BBQ ribs, Their ribs are smoked in the pit for hours, ribs are served with their signature spicy warm bbq sauce (not sweet). It is addictive! and their thick cut fries is crispy --- best fries in ATL. a glass of cold beer, a rack of dreamland bbq ribs.a side of fries. can't go wrong on a game day or a hungry day. and don't forget to try their banana pudding also very delicious. Note: the only reason i did not give 5 stars is that sometimes the pork meat in the pork sandwich is not tender and dry. if you mention to the server, they will be happy to get you a new one.

I like Dreamland - but really if you're looking for ribs or pulled-pork there are better places in Roswell - I won't go into them but you can read my other reviews. I used to work in Alpharetta but have also worked in Roswell and having spent a lot of time in the area have eaten in many of the local places, both for lunch and dinner. I've eaten at Dreamland many times - what I like best about them is that they are very convenient (right off Hwy 9/Roswell Rd between Holcomb Bridge and Mansell - also the place is huge - I think it was an older chain-type steak house with mid-century modern styling (clerestory windows, exposed beams and vaulted ceilings) with walls covered in bbq and southern memorabilia and found objects. I like this type of decor as it seems very fitting for bbq eatin. For being so convenient, anohter thing I like about it is that you can get into it during lunch hours without too much trouble - at worst case there's usually a stool or two at the bar/counter where you can order a quick lunch. Due to the size, it can accommodate groups for lunch meetings - another bonus and where many other bbq places fail. Down to the food - the bbq has that memphis-style to it (I beileve the original location was in Alabama but the style is a little further north in my opinion) - the sauce in general is more piquant than sweet. Sitting down at some of the other locations (like the one on 92) you get a bowel of bbq sauce and a stack of white bread - sort of an appe-teaser - at Roswell I haven't experienced this so it may be a restaurant-by-restaurant thing or more for dinner hours. The ribs and pulled-pork are more than acceptable, but not exceptional in my opinion. I'll go for ribs usually if I'm in the mood, otherwise I get my two favorites: the bbq salad and/or brunswick stew. The bbq salad is basically this huge bowel of salad covered in a few inches of pulled/chopped pork. The house dressing is made from bbq sauce and ranch dressing - this dish is exceptional - plenty of food, good mix of flavors and textures, and you don't feel totally bloated from eating it like you do when eating a plate with all the sides. I do often get a cup of brunswick stew with the salad. I don't understand why most atlanta area bbq houses can't get this right - it's simply more than ketchup with corn and meat semi-pureed. Thankfully Dreamland understands what it's supposed to be and hits it right on - smokey goodness in all it's might with good texture and plenty of identifiable meat. Dreamland may not be my first choice for bbq in Roswell/Alpharetta, but it's certainly on my "good" list and I'll tag along with any of my peers when they announce it as a destination. If you go, try the salad and definitely the stew - you wont be dissappointed.

I have gotten better BBQ from gas stations in Texas than this nightmare. I ordered the chicken and rib plate, the meat was dry and burnt and cold in the middle. I didn't like the sides either, they tasted factory made. The service was OK but I do not think I shall return.

I visited dreamland after watching a special on the Food Network on the best BBQ spots in the country and figured I would give a whirl. Sorry to say I wasn't impressed. The ribs were chewy, tuff and dry.... Not to mention extremely over done. The reason I gave this restaurant 2 stars is because of the sides they were tasty and yummy, but let's be honest we don't go to a BBQ joint for sides...right!! If they could focus more on the tenderness and flavor of the ribs and marketing and less on the sides then maybe Dreamland Bar-b-q could be more of a dream than a nightmare. Sorry guys, but I had to be honest!!

Where there's smoke there's fire, but not always BBQ flavor. We were eventually enticed inside by the wonderful smoky scent of BBQ after many trips pass this restaurant. But our curiosity has been satisfied and the verdict was only "decent." The server was very friendly and attentive and even muted a nearby TV that was too loud after the program changed to a non-appetizing topic. The price was just a little bit too high, which was brought into focus by the ordinary BBQ. My ribs had no smoky flavor and reminded me of the style that are boiled before grilling. The smoked sausage was a bit better. The mac-and-cheese was equivalent to what I can get from a box. My wife thought the pulled pork was a tad better and the BBQ salad was a huge portion and she found the BBQ ranch dressing a nice flavor. My daughter's pulled pork sandwich was also good without being spectacular. Their sauce is generously applied to the ribs and another cup is provided on the side. It is a shade on the tangy side and will leave you with a hint of heat on the end. I'm not a fan of a vinegar base, but I think they did a good job on the sauce. Unfortunately, I think they provide mass quantities to compensate for the mediocre meat.

I have eaten here 10 times in the past 4 years. Their claim to fame - according to their commercials anyway - is ribs. Well, let me tell you, they are thee blandest, least flavorful ribs I have ever had at a restaurant. All my friends and family who have eaten there agree with this. If you dine in you can watch the ribs being smoked if you sit in the right section. Their smoker is impressive but their cooking method is ridiculous. The salt the hell out of the ribs and cook them on HIGH for about 45 minutes!!! This is coming from a waitress and first hand observation. Who in their right mind cooks pork at high heat for a short time??? Beats all I have ever seen and the taste is just the blandest, dry and chewy. And, if you are a fan of dirt and bugs,( dead, dying and those still quite alive) grab a seat near the windows, you won't be disappointed. Plenty of flies to go around, filthy booths and window trim. Not a place for the squeamish. OK, now that I have that off my chest... I do very much enjoy their BBQ combo salad. It is huge and contain large portions of moist chicken and pork. Nothing amazing about the spices or flavors, but still good. All of their side items are average, neither great nor terrible.

Isn't it a crime to pass this stuff up as real BBQ? I wasn't expecting a fantastic meal by any means from all the previous stuff I heard about this place. Even with low expectations, I still walked out disappointed and very surprised. I never go into a restaurant with pre conceived notions about what the food is going to be like unless they tell me I have to wear a jacket and tie. Below is what we ordered: Ribs: These were probably the driest ribs I've ever eaten. I doused them in sauce and it was still kinda terrible. I asked for 3 extra sides of cole slaw to take it all down. I even drank 2 beers to moisten it up! My table mate asked me why I didn't just leave it be.... I find it difficult to waste food... especially food that is directly in my line of vision. Even if it's not to my liking. Brisket: This was the best thing out of the whole meal. It too was a little dry, but it still had enough fat in it to make it palatable. I judge a bbq place by it's brisket. I believe to be the best barometer of how good their cue is. This my friends.....was not good cue.... Huge FAIL!

What a disappointment. Really want to like this place, but tried this for the last time. Food is just ok some of the times, but more often you really don't know what you're going to get. We ate a few bites of the pork this last time around and we were done. Service is usually good.

A few co-workers and I came here for lunch today. The place was pretty empty (we were at the tail end of the lunch rush) and we were seated quickly in a booth. I ordered the chopped pork with slaw (creamy) and baked beans and a sweet tea. The portions were sizeable (I left full but not sleepy) for lunch and prices were reasonable. The pork was unfortunately pretty dry, even though I drenched it in the sauce provided. I have better things to say about the sides - the slaw actually was pretty refreshing with good flavors. The baked beans weren't memorable but not bad. All in all this isn't anything to write home about but if you're in the area and need a lunch option, it's acceptable. I likely won't be back but mostly because there just wasn't a wow factor to the meal.

Not bad at all! Think what it might be like without the "no farting" sign! Here we go: Sauce above average could use some tang. Ribs, meaty but slightly dry. Good smoke. Brunswick Stew - really good tonight. thick , well put together. I didn't try the chopped pork but there were no complaints at the table. Service- friendly and long suffering she rolled pretty well. I like it that they automatically give you sauce and bread like chips and salsa! Draft beer selection could use some work. I really like the Swallow but Alabama fans love it when you take them here. Sigh.

  • Kathleen M.

I hate to do this, but it must be said. My last experience at Dreamland was lackluster. The pulled pork I received was mostly ends and burnt bits-- very little was edible. I still love the sauce that they use here, and it may have been because we were having a VERY late lunch, but it really wasn't worth the trek, especially when I've got Fox Brothers nearby. I still like Dreamland a heck of a lot, mostly for the memories, but there's a lot better 'cue to be had around town.

When you go to the original Dreamland in Tuscaloosa, AL, you know that you are in a special place. The little shack is always full and the main decision you have to make is whether to get a slab or 1/2 slab. You will also get a stack of white bread and some extra bbq sauce. As a graduate of The University of Alabama, I went here many times. In the Roswell location, you have many more options. The BBQ sauce here is Supercalifragalistic served on other meats. I still just go for the 1/2 slab which is awesome in its simplicity. The Roswell comes as close to the original location as possible. Get the Banana pudding- Whip Cream, Banana, and those wafers...WOW!!!!!!

  • Keith S.

Love the sauce, the fries, the stew and the banana pudding - few places can touch their sauce. Ribs are so good we've driven hours just to get them. They'll ever overnight them to you wherever you are. That says enough on its own.

Dreamland has earned it's stars back!! A little while back I wrote a review where I had to give Dreamland 3 stars. Customer service had gone down hill drastically over the year that the coworkers and I had been wondering in for bi-weekly BBQ. My last visit was so miserable I had to talk to the manager. He had to know why we where not coming in as often as we used to. He responded well and said give him some time he would work with his staff and address some issues. HE DID! Today the staff reminded me of old times. A good laid back crew met us at the door and our service was awesome. Hopefully they will continue with the service they used to be great for.

Have been here about a hundred times since it's close to work. Never had a bad meal. the pork is chopped and moist. Service is well-trained and consistent. Most of the servers have been there for many years. Might be a 4 star based on the pulled pork and the bbq sauce, but the ribs are inconsistent. Sometimes good, other times dry. Fries are tasty! Haven't tried the Brunswick Stew, but friends like it. Sweet tea it good. Always a crowd there for lunch, and it's a large space. Usually this means you know the food will be very fresh. There is better bbq nearby, but Dreamland is a solid consistent destination that we like to go back to often. Lots of TVs for watching sports and news.

It's what you've come to expect from Dreamland, and that's great food. I don't give higher marks because, well nothing every really changes around this place and I guess that gets boring. I usually order the ribs and I generally leave happy.

The pork was full of bones and hard pieces and was the driest meat I've ever had. The mac and cheese was nothing special and tasted like it was out of a box. I was not impressed by this place. In fact, had to take a pepto when I got home. Would not go back here. They also do not serve beef brisket. What kind of bbq place doesn't sell brisket?

  • Robert H.

Horrible! The food was cold and undercooked, portions small, and sauce is disgusting. I don't know how this place is still open. If you walk in to this restaurant don't let the smell fool you. The taste and quality will not match.

I've been to Dreamland several times and I was never super impressed. I really like the smoked sausage, but everything else always leaves me wanting more. I've never tried the ribs just because i figure they will be kinda like everything else. The mac is ok, but it always comes out room temp. The slaw and fries are very good, though. The sauce tastes mostly of vinegar and I started asking for it on the side. The pulled pork is good, but like I said about the BBQ sauce...All in all, it's an ok place to eat, but not the best ever. I mainly eat here because it's edible and affordable. Service is good.

I LOVE a good BBQ place. Dreamland's BBQ smells 100X better than it tastes. I've been here 3 or 4 times with friends and each time I have been disappointed trying one thing or another. The meat, as mentioned in past reviews is tough. The ribs have alot of fat on them. A pair of pliers would be handy when eating here. Their thin vinegar based sauce simply is something that I don't prefer. Here, you get one side order when you order your meat. Most other BBQ places I have been to, you get 2 side orders, rather than one and for the same price. The waiter/waitress service has been questionable every time. They seem to be there just to get the day over with. Their cleanliness is the only reason I give them a second star.

I have been hearing a bunch of talk about Dreamland Bbq for at least 7 yrs. Whether it was from my college roomate, law school buddies, or just random folks, people always had brilliant things to say about Dreamland. Sigh, I hate to be disappointed, but thats exactly what happened at this rib joint. The sauce was vinegar based, and actually pretty tasty. But the quality of meat was not that great, a bit fatty, and I couldnt imagine having to warm it up later b/c I just thought leftovers would have been gross. I also had the wings, they were pretty good once i dipped them in that tasty barbecue sauce. Maybe my expectations were too high, but I expected the search for the best rib in America to be done after this spot, clearly, I am still searching.... Wont be back. Period.

I love my BBQ, so I can't bring myself to go back to this place. I love Fat Matt's ribs, so going to Dreamland and having to struggle mightily to get the meat off the bone is a big turn-off. And I can't eat my BBQ without slaw on top, so to have piss poor slaw is beyond reprehensible. I have no idea why so many people talk this place up, I think it's pretty crappy compared to a lot of places we have here.

I ate lunch here at 11:30am on a Tuesday. They were busy, but I sat at the bar and got immediate service. I ordered the regular size BBQ sandwich with french fries. I like how the bartender asked me if I want sauce on the sandwich or on the side (uh... both, please). My sandwich came out in like 90 seconds. I'm serious -- 90 seconds. The fries were hot and crispy and well seasoned, albeit the thick-cut frozen variety. The meat was delicious, moist, tender, and had the perfect combination of charred bits and melted fatty pork. I think their sauce is a great balance of tomato, vinegar, and sugar, yum! My only complaint would be the bun -- it's too big and dense and should have been toasted more. Good, attentive, quick service. Everyone in the restaurant was really friendly. There's nothing crazy on the menu but everything I've eaten here has tasted good. Classic BBQ spot for lunch or dinner.

I understand that BBQ is regional and I want to make clear that I'm not from the south, so I can only speak to what tastes good to me. I've tried a bunch of BBQ places in GA and TN and Dreamland is my favorite. I LOVE the vinegary tang to the sauce. I know some don't, but it works for me. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the pulled chicken sandwich and can never bring myself to order anything else (so I can't speak to the traditional BBQ'd meats), The pulled chicken sandwich wasn't on the menu the last time I went in, but the waitress said that they still have it and it was as fantastic as usual. I think they need to put the pulled chicken sandwich back on the menu for others to enjoy. As for the other BBQ'd meats: My family never opposes going to Dreamland for ribs and/or pork. Their plates are always empty. The bruswick stew is nice as is the Mac 'n cheese. If I'm having a big crowd at home, I'll order Dreamland take-out and everyone always enjoys it.

No Frills BBQ joint.... white bread and meat.. yup there ya go a sammich ! Although every time I drive past I'm enticed by the smoke billowing across the road...wafting smells of BBQ-ed meat YUM! It's hard to resist! Wouldn't go out of my way for dreamland... but If I'm ever in the area craving some BBQ I might just stop.

Chances are you've heard of Dreamland BBQ and their catchy little jingle on TV. It's a shame that they're spending more money on having you remember the name than, you know, making the food any good. I went there for lunch with a friend and the best way I could describe it is the BBQ version of Applebee's; bland chain restaurant food that you could drive half a mile down the road and get the same kind of food at the same price but actually halfway decent. The pork was bone dry, the beans tasted like they just over-microwaved a can of Bush's beans they got from Kroger...in short, incredibly mediocre. Do yourself the favor and drive a couple of miles down the road to Spiced Right BBQ in Roswell.

Love there ribs and sauce but service is horrible! Everytime I have gone in here, they act as if they are doing me a favor by serving me... Nothing worse than bad customer service to make you not go to a place as much as you would. I only go when the ribs and sauce are calling me and I can endure no more!

I was pretty impressed with Dreamland. With a name like that you better be on the money. I used to drive past this place all the time on the way to work and you could smell it for forever. It took awhile before I actually stopped and put a taste to the delicious stink. I think they put projectors on their chimneys to make that smell encircle the area. It worked. They do BBQ in a traditional Southern and very flavorful way. The serving was nicely sized for the money and they brought out so much bread to go along with it you could make 7 sandwiches from a single plate. I tend to obsess over BBQ flavors. They have to be just right. Dreamland, especially for a place that seems less of a hole in the wall and more chain-y, did a decent job living up to the task.

Home sweet home! Dreamland Bar-B Que is originally from Tuscaloosa, Alabama (about 30 minutes from home). It is the best bar-b-que in the nation. The first time I went to Dreamland, they had 2 things on their menu: ribs and white bread. The cash register was actually a cigar box. These days, dreamland has a full menu of bbq chicken, ribs, pulled pork, and a ton of sides. If you come here, be prepared to eat and get messy. I suggest an order of the ribs and side of fries and a large sweet tea.

I went here after hearing it was on this 10 best list. Well aside from the nice memorialabilia which I saw a picture of the American Dream Dusty Roades and a lot of football stars and nice t-shirts the place is cool to hang out and eat, but it didn't stun me with great food. The place smelled great and I do like the down home feeling. The french fries were pretty tasty. The sausage was ok, but didn't rock my socks and the bbq sauce had a nice tang with spice, but it wasn't damn tasty like I was expecting. I had the cole slaw with vinaigrette dressy which was different and I liked it somewhat, but again it was just different. I actually drove pretty far out of my way to get to Dreamland, which was about 15 or so miles from the freeway I was on. If I was in the area I would give this another drive, but I won't go out of my way to come here again. I may just have to try a dreamland in other area and check that out.

I love me some pulled pork. I could eat bbq pork every day, and Dreamland doesn't disappoint. To the reviewer who complained about the ribs, you won't find good ribs outside the Midwest, not even at that fat guy's place on Piedmont. Just stick with the pulled pork while in GA. :) Anyway, one thing that I used to do as a kid was make bbq sauce sandwiches. Yep, just some sauce and bread. Well, they do that here! While you wait for your food, you get a basket of white bread and some bbq sauce. I was in heaven. YUM. :) The sides here are just average, but I really enjoyed the meat. I'm sure there's better bbq somewhere in Georgia, but this is near the top and worth a shot if you are heading anywhere near Roswell.

I don't understand the fuss about this place. We went here only after being turned off at the 2 hour wait at Swallow in The Hollow down the street. The ribs were TOUGH. What the hell kind of barbecue restaurant has TOUGH ribs? Sunbeam bread and barbecue sauce as an appetizer? Well, it's unique, that's really all I can say. The mac and cheese was almost as good as Kraft's, but not quite (and I HATE Kraft's). Let's talk about service. Wow. I mean, wow. Our server didn't know what kind of beer they had. He could've been new, I'm not sure. But here's the thing....if you don't know, don't fake it. Just say, "You know what, today is my first day and I don't have it memorized yet but I promise you, I'll send someone over right now that can tell you exactly what kind of beer we have." Yeah, that didn't happen. He made 3 trips to the bar to see if what we requested was available. Mind you, each trip took about 5 minutes each. Ridiculous. Next time, I'll sit my butt down on the porch at Swallow in the Hollow and wait the 2 hours for a table. At least they know what kind of beer they have.

Met my friend Bruce who is from Alabama here. Dreamland is Alabama style BBQ. I had the spare ribs, wet smothered in BBQ sause! Very good along with the deli style coleslaw. A little different from the Texas BBQ I'm used to, but good non the less. Good friendly southern service and hospitality! Loved seeing the smokers in the back of the restaurant where they smoke all the meet!

  • Lozo B.

Dreamland is great. Nice interior, good location with lots of parking and seating. Food is fantastic. Smoked pork is my favorite. Also the bbq salad with the pork and house dressing is huge and cannot be beat. Sides are very good and pecan pie served hot and ask for butter on top. You can't go wrong here.

Way overrated. With so many BBQ joints in the area to choose from, this place does nothing to stand out. The ribs are tough, the sauce is good-to-average. Skip this one.

Rock Solid Roasty Smoky Pork!!! If you like smoky meat this is the place to go!!! Ask for sauce on the side, as they tend to over do it... Ribs are bite off the bone and pork is smoky yummy!!! To go is good too!!!

3.5...ill keep it short. i love bbq. great bbq sauce- a little thinner & more vinegarrey than usual, but good. no baby backs? terrible idea. ribs have little meat. good fries. big drink cups so they don't have to take the time to refill. i enjoy this. service was ok- nice when he came to the table, but got our orders wrong and was not quick to fix.

Dreamland is probably one of the best BBQ places around. The service is pretty good, and the ribs are consistently delicious. And for your $17 you get a giant slab of em. Not too much else to say really, it's just really good BBQ. Too bad they don't have one closer to me.

wow, this was the SALTIEST bbq pork i have ever had. i was starving and i only could only manage to eat 1/3 of the sandwich. i get the "old school" bbq look of the restaurant, which could be endearing. however, spider webs in every crevice of the ceiling and dusty silverwear in a jar is not good ambiance. will NEVER go back.

This is a pretty above average BBQ joint. The food was very good, and I go here occasionally for lunch with the gang. It's a fun, neat place. I've never had a great meal here, but never had a bad one either. The service has always been good.

TERRIBLE!!! Go some where else if you want a real meal. My husband and I went there on Sat night, for the first and our last time. We had to wait to be seated, even though no one else was waiting. The waitress took over 10 minutes to even stop by to take our orders. We each had the chopped pork plate with 2 sides. Our server brought out a small dish with 4 slices of PLAIN WHITE BREAD, like youbuy in the store. I asked her for some butter to go with the bread, we were starved by then. She brought back ONE pat of butter and walked off with out saying a word. Guess she must have not wanted to work on Sat night, as her attitude was really, really showing. The pork plates arrived, YUCK!!! The pork was mostly fat and grisel! The baked beans had to have just come out of a campbell's baked beans can. To say it was a none event would be an understatement. As for the potato salad, if was ok. With two cokes our bill came to $25!!!!! Next time just head somewhere else to eat, learn from our mistake. I told my daughter about it the next day and she started laughing. She said everyone knows that place is awful.....now we know too!By giving it a one star rating I am being generous!

    (1)
  • Tim V.

Way over rated! The service, and the food leave alot to be desired. The myth makes you believe you are going to get some good Q. The bread is stale and hard. The meat is charred over open flames. The sauce is thin and tastes of vinegar.

We were craving bbq and we failed to check out Yelp for recommendations and ended up at this place. The ribs were ok, they weren't great - we were not in Dreamland eating them because they were kinda tough. I'm used to a more tomato based sauce and this place had a more vinegar based sauce and so I was sort of turned off by that. I heard that this is a Alabama recipe (Alabama style barbecue sauce). They serve white bread with your food and they have plenty of sides to accompany your meal. We bought a full slab to share and take home which was very reasonably priced with potato salad and french fries (which were very hot and crispy). We also wanted to try their sausage so we got an order of their sliced sausage (kielbasa). The four stars are for the restaurant's ambiance, hospitality, cleanliness and the fact that the server brought us a sample of the sausage before we ordered just to see if we liked it. We tooked the ribs home but we didn't bother to take any sauce. If you want to check out Dreamland BBQ further go to their website dreamlandbbq.com .

This is highly overrated. Not too far away is Swallow at the Hollow and it is vastly superior to this place. While I know Dreamland has a great reputation based on it's roots in Alabama, I'm just not impressed. The sauces are sticky-sweet and you are limited to one choice of sauce, basically. At Swallow, you get the meat cooked with no sauce in most instances and you can choose what you want to put on there. If you're not in the mood for desert barbecue, you can choose a sauce with vastly more flavor and interest. Sides are uninteresting and pretty standard and don't really have that home-cooked appeal I'd hoped for. It's not bad but vastly better is available nearby.

Best BBQ in Roswell/Alpharetta in my opinion. I've only been once for take out order... 1 lb Pulled pork Pint of baked beans Pint of cole slaw...mayo base The flavor of the pulled pork is fantastic Beans had a perfect blend of sweet and savory Mayo was flavorful Food came fast....less than 10 minutes. Maybe even 5. Can't wait to take the family here for ribs and the banana pudding I've heard so much about.

  • wei w.

  • Jerry C.

  • Mike W.

Pretty good BBQ. Service was friendly. Combo plate was large enough for two meals.

    (1)
  • Robert H.

Horrible! The food was cold and undercooked, portions small, and sauce is disgusting. I don't know how this place is still open. If you walk in to this restaurant don't let the smell fool you. The taste and quality will not match.

  • Krystal K.

Period.

  • Chris M.

  • Ali P.

Dreamland is probably one of the best BBQ places around. The service is pretty good, and the ribs are consistently delicious. And for your $17 you get a giant slab of em. Not too much else to say really, it's just really good BBQ. Too bad they don't have one closer to me.

  • Laura L.

wow, this was the SALTIEST bbq pork i have ever had. i was starving and i only could only manage to eat 1/3 of the sandwich. i get the "old school" bbq look of the restaurant, which could be endearing. however, spider webs in every crevice of the ceiling and dusty silverwear in a jar is not good ambiance. will NEVER go back.

  • Dave G.

I happened upon this place by mistake. I ordered the Brunswick Stew and have to say it is some of the best in Atlanta. The pulled pork is average but when in the mood for stew I stop back. Just one bowl is enough to fill you up. Great staff and friendly bar too.

Simply. Delicious. Minus one star because there is no brisket on the menu. The Brunswick stew is chunky & hearty. Pulled pork is PERFECT! (Very flavorful - Not drenched in sauce). Get the banana pudding. You. Are. Welcome.

Im not going to waste time writing a book. I understand that people have different taste and this did not appeal to my husbands and mines. My husband makes bbq far better than this place. Convincing me more and more to open a bbq joint. There are far better places than this to get bbq, Daddy D's being one.

Ordered pulled pork and ribs with green beans on the side, The ribs had char and the pork was good, you can tell they were made with pride.
